Chapter 7
The next morning the X-men assembled outside Cerebro.
"How are you gonna find him Charles?" marie broke the silence.
"Well if I cant find him then we know hes found an old friend." Charles tells her as he wheels into the room.
The doors shut behind him leaving the rest to wait.
"what does he mean by that? Jean asked
"Emma Frost she is a telepath, the only one who could ever keep Charles out of her mind, she made a deal with Shaw and became one of his top people. She was a good Russian spy since she could get into peoples minds and control them as well. She also has the ability to turn herself to glass which keeps others like Charles from entering her mind." Marie explained.
"She helped Shaw create his helmet which is now Eriks helmet that keeps Charles out." She continues.
"Anna come in here." Marie heard in her head
She stepped towards the doors and they opened and closed behind her.
She walked towards Charles. "What is it Charles?"
"Ive found him, but it seems he wanted me to,. ".
"What", Marie started to ask then looked at what appeared on the screen.
The image that was shown was of Shaw outside a compound, he was followed by someone that they both recognized…Emma Frost. She turned around and smiled as if she knew they were watching.
"You cant stop us this time." Frosts voice echoed through Cerebro.
Then Marie screamed "Disconnect Charles, NOW".
Charles took the helmet off just in time before sparks started flying from the console. They heard yelling from the other side of the door.
Both breathing heavy Marie looked at Charles. "Now what?" she asked.
"I think its time we told Erik the truth, do you know how to find him?" he asked
"I do, but I'm going alone" she said with a stern voice.
They both turned and left the room through the doors, everyone looked and started asking questions, but Marie paid them no mind, she continued to walk past them until she heard Logan yell and ask where she was going. She didn't turn around
"Going to find and old friend" as she orbed away.
