The strong stench of blood he had smelt wasn't new to him in the least, but he could say it's been a while since he'd seen so many dead bodies in one place.
It was quite sad really. A beloved brother who he thought he could trust, ended up murdering his whole clan..well him and another, but he wasn't focused on him.
After stabbing his sword through his little brother's chest, Itachi Uchiha coldly left him for dead in his own puddle of blood. He even used his Mangekyo Sharingan's ability, Tsukuyomi, on him. Making him relive the massacre for 72 hours.
It was definitely evil..one of the coldest things the Shinigami had witnessed.
But such was the way of life.
Snakes tended to hide within your own family these days.
'Oh? What is this??' The Shinigami thought as he could see purple Aura enveloping Sasuke Uchiha's body.
His eyes widened slightly as he realized what was happening.
He let out a small chuckle. It seems like he wasn't needed here anymore. Hm..he may as well leave a small gift for the young one.
The Shinigami held his hand out towards Sasuke's body, and bright blue energy shot out from it. It fused with the purple energy and both entered Sasuke's body.
The Shinigami nodded.
"It is finished." He said. It's going to be interesting watching how he improves and moves forward.
The Shinigami smirked. He was sure he would see Itachi Uchiha real soon.
He let out a chuckle as he disappeared.

'Scavenge? Recycle? What do these terms even mean??' Sasuke thought with confusion. His Aunt and Uncle were most definitely not trash and he was annoyed that whatever this was called them that.

His curiosity needed to be satiated. He quickly said his apologies and a prayer to his Aunt and Uncle. He then said 'Yes.'
Suddenly the space around him was ripped open and large purple skeletal-like hands reached out and grabbed Uruchi and Teyaki. (Similar to his skeletal Susanoo.) The hands then pulled their corpses into the dark black space.
It..almost scared him shitless. Almost.

Well that answered that question in his mind. Wasn't a Shinigami a Death God? He wondered when he had appeared..had to be whenever he was out. He was surprised that the Shinigami actually 'chose' him. He wondered why.
He assumed this 'Scavenger' job allowed him to recycle things and doing so allowed him to gain rewards in a sense.

He looked around at all the dead Uchiha bodies and a light flashed in his head.
He would use their strength and power to do what's right. He will be unlike his older b-Itachi, but he will definitely make Itachi pay for what he did.
Sasuke walked to the first dead Uchiha member and got to work.

Sasuke wiped the tears from his eyes as he stared at the places his parents just were. He tried to hold it in..but the tears fell on their own as he seen their dead faces.
This would definitely be the last time he cried for a while.
He scavenged all of the Uchiha members bodies and acquired different skills, items, and rewards.
It was fulfilling in a way, but now he definitely needed air. He decided to walk to the cliff above the Naka River.
Once Sasuke reached the cliff, he closed his eyes as the cold yet comforting breeze settled on his skin. It helped clear his mind of all the thoughts that built up. He then opened his eyes to peer down at the river.
"What?" He questioned as the more than familiar blue letters popped up.

So this is where Shisui died, but Itachi said that he died in a mission..
Sasuke decided to use one of the skills he recently acquired to figure out the truth.
"Use Passive Skill Veracity. How exactly did Shisui die?" Sasuke asked as he used the skill.
[Itachi Uchiha was working with Danzo to kill all of the Uchiha. The Coup de tat was used as a disguise for the real truth. Itachi knowing Shisui was trying to prevent everything from happening with his Dojutsu's ability, slashed Shisui's eyes and neck. He then kicked him off of the cliff into the Naka River.]
The lividness that grew into Sasuke at that was astronomical.
His fist clenched tight and he grit his teeth.
Shisui..was like another brother to them and Itachi killed him too?? Shisui definitely didn't deserve the betrayal or death.
The Gamer's Mind skill quickly calmed him down. He released a heavy breath.
'Your death won't be in vain Shisui I promise.' He thought with assurance as he pressed Yes.

Now he thought about what he could do. To everyone else, he was dead like the rest of his Clan. Maybe he could venture off..explore the Elemental Nations for himself.
