It was a cold and dark morning when Goblin slayer woke up to start scouting the farm, and doing target practice.
After checking the structures and walls surrounding the farm he found everything to be in order, and after a good hour of target practice the sun began to rise, and with it the other people who lived on the farm with Goblin slayer.
"Good morning" Cow girl said from her window with a smile, she only had the neccesary pieces of clothes on as she leaned out her bedroom window.
"Good morning" Goblin slayer replied without paying much attention to her attire
"Breakfast will be ready soon so wash up"
Cow girl said
"Alright i will" Goblin slayer replied
Cow girl, Goblin slayer, and Uncle sat down to enjoy the breakfast Cow girl made.
"So you're heading out today?"
"Yes"
"Be safe okay"
"I will"
after this usual exchange they finished eating and Cow girl gathered all the dishes to wash, as she walked away Uncle spoke to Goblin slayer alone
"Goblin activity has been quite intense recently hasnt it?"
"Yes, it has" Goblin slayer replied
"Well you are the expert in these matters, Still take care of yourself she cares a lot about you"
"I see" The adventurer paused for a moment
"I will sir" he said as he got up from his seat
It was a busy day at the guild as per usual
"Welcome back Goblin slayer" the receptionist said with glee
"Goblin quests right?"
"Yes" He replied
She handed him the quests and he looked over them carefully before selecting all of them as usual.
"Are you going solo today?" the receptionist asked
"Yes, priestess is busy with her duties at the temple, and the rest of them are wanting a break from the constant quests we've been doing"
"Understood, now would you like some potions for your quest?" the receptionist laid 3 stamina potions out
"Yes, these will do" as he handed her 3 gold coins
"Be safe" the receptionist said as Goblin slayer was getting ready to leave
"I will" Goblin slayer remarked with his back turned as he approached the door
Goblin slayer stopped walking to the door when a female adventurer stopped to speak to him
"Hey Goblin slayer" The adventurer appeared to know of him but Goblin slayer didnt seem to know who she was
"What is it?" Goblin slayer asked in his usual monotone
"I couldn't help but notice our receptionist is very flirty with you"
"Is that so?" Goblin slayer didnt seem to notice the receptionists flirty antics
"Im curious, are you guys dating or something?" the female adventurer asked
"No, i have never dated anyone"
"Really? i saw you when you took your helmet off after the farm incident, you're awfully handsome"
Goblin slayer didnt really know what to say to this
"I see" he muttered
"Well i just thought it is a little shocking someone who is so good looking and surrounded by ladies hasnt even been with one, i mean have you had a kiss yet?"
Goblin slayer never really thought of relationships, let alone kissing.
"No i havent" Goblin slayer said
"Well anyways i was just curious, best let you get back to your quests" the female adventurer said with a grin as she walked off
Goblin slayer stood there for a moment thinking about never having kissed someone.
"I havent had an interest in girls since i was a child" he thought to himself
Goblin slayer arrived at the first nest of goblins he had a quest for, he stood outside the entrance as he prepared his stuff
He went into the cave and came across 11 goblins sleeping, these must have been wanderers from a group that was killed as they had no clear leader, they must have seeked temporary shelter in this cave
they reportedly stole a few chickens and butchered a cow, but nothing more than that.
Goblin slayer methodically slayed them in their sleep one by one
this would be the theme of the day as it is most of his days.
Night had fallen, as Goblin slayer exited the last nest he cleared; He cleared 5 nests in total today, killing 47 goblins.
He started his way back to town and ultimately to the guild
He entered the guild after a 45 minute walk from the nest he was at
"Hey if it isnt beardcutter, hehe" his dwarf ally said as he entered
"How did it go orcbolg?" the high elf asked
"It went well 47 in total" he said in his usual tone
"Sounds exciting" the receptionist said joining in the conversation
"Well lets do the paperwork and get you your payment."
"Alright" Goblin slayer said as he approached the Guild girl
After talking about the details of the quest Goblin slayer received his payment
and began walking to the door
"Well see ya tomorrow beardcutter" the dwarf remarked
"Goodnight" Goblin slayer said as he opened the door
"Heyyyyy" The familiar voice of his childhood friend could be heard
"Hey" Goblin slayer said back
Cow girl quickly interlocked her fingers with his
"Ready to go home?" she said smiling
"Yes"
They arrived at the dirt path leading to the farm house
"So anything new happened today?" She asked as they stood outside gazing at the stars
"Just the usual goblin quests"
She sat down on the grass and patted her lap
"Lay" she giggled
Goblin slayer took his helmet off and layed in her lap
"Whatcu thinking about?" she asked him
he paused for a moment before replying
"Nothing" but it wasnt in his usual monotone
"I know you better than that so spill" she pressed
"Well there was this female adventurer today" he said
"Go on" she said
"She asked me if i have ever dated anyone" he said
Cow girl gone silent for a moment
"Did she ask him out?" she thought to herself
"What did you say to her?" she asked
"I told her i havent" he said
"i see" Cow girl started playing with his hair
"She also asked me if i have ever kissed someone" Goblin went on to explain
this made Cow girl blush, the thought of Kissing Goblin slayer has definitely crossed her mind once or twice
"And what did you tell her?" She asked
"I told her i havent kissed someone" He replied
"So thats what was on your mind?" Cow girl questioned
"I have never experienced a kiss before"
He remarked
"Well maybe you havent had someone worthy of kissing" Cow girl teased
"I see" he said calmly
"Back when we were little I always wanted you to be my first kiss" Cow girl said while looking back up at the stars
"But everything has changed" she sighed
Goblin slayer thought for a moment
"Can i kiss you now?" Goblin slayer said non-chalantly
Cow girl paused as her face got very red
her heart began to race
"Y-Ye-s" she said as she was flustered by the thought
Goblin slayer rose from her lap and sat up to face her
Cow girls felt like her heart was going to jump out of her chest
They awkwardly leaned in and pressed their lips to each others, Cow girl closed her eyes while Goblin slayers eyes remained open.
The kiss lasted a few seconds before they leaned back and stared at each other.
"Well?" Cow girl asked shyly
"They are soft" Goblin slayer said
"It was nice" He added
Cow girl felt like she was in another one of her dreams about Goblin slayer
"Can i kiss you more?" she asked meekly
"Yes" he said calmly
They leaned back in and this time it was less awkward.
it was more than one kiss as it had turned into a makeout session, with Cow girl sneaking her tongue into his mouth.
"Mmmmm" Cow girl said lowly
Goblin slayer didnt speak but he was enjoying it also
Eventually the makeout session ended, and Goblin slayer rose up saying
"We need to head inside, your Uncle might be worried"
"O-Okay" Cow girl said as she raised up
Countless emotions awoken in her during their moment of passion
They both headed inside to eat with Uncle
Uncle noticed Cow girl keeping staring at Goblin slayer with a look she had not had before
"So what have you two been up to?"
Uncle said breaking the silence
Cow girl day dreaming was interrupted by the question
"Ermmm" Cow girl seemed to be lost as to what to say
"There was 47 Goblins today"
Goblin slayer replied firmly
"I see, and you made it back in one piece" Uncle noted
"The rent" Goblin slayer said as he pulled out a hefty bag of coins
"Thank you" Uncle remarked
"Well its almost time for bed" Cow girl said as she got up oddly fast and gathered the dishes almost as if to get back to her fantasies as quickly as possible
"Yes" Goblin slayer stood up
"Im going to repair my armor and check the farm" Goblin slayer said as he walked out the door
"So" Uncle said to Cow girl
"What happened between you two?"
Cow girl got nervous
"Nothing, nothing at all Uncle"
Uncle didnt press the matter but it was obvious he didnt take it for the truth
"Well im going to head to bed, goodnight"
Uncle stood up and walked to his room
"Goodnight" Cow girl said
After checking the farm and repairing his armor, Goblin slayer headed back inside and was surprised to see Cow girl was still up waiting for him.
"You're up still?" he said to her
"Yep" Cow girl said with a grin as she stood up infront of him
"I wanted to see you before i go to bed"
she said as she quickly leaned in for a kiss
"I see" Goblin slayer said, Not that he minded the kiss
"Goodnight"
"Goodnight to you too" she said while walking away, in a almost seductive way.
The lights went out and everyone went to sleep, with Cow girl wearing a big smile on her face as she did.
