The end... of chapter 1!
Cowgirl woke up the next morning wearing the same big smile on her face, She got her clothes on and leaned out her window to see the man she was falling deeper and deeper in love with.
"Good morning". Cow girl giggled as she spoke to Goblin slayer
"Good morning" he replied, except this time he wasn't in his usual armor; he was wearing regular clothes for a change.
"No adventuring today, right?" She asked
"No, today is an off day." he replied back
"Breakfast will be ready soon," she informed him.
"Okay, I'll be inside soon." He remarked in his usual tone, not paying attention to her sudden giddiness.
Everyone on the farm sat down to eat breakfast, with Cow-girl sitting next to Goblin Slayer, and this time noticeably closer to him.
"You seem very happy today," said Cow girl's uncle.
Cow girl didnt really know what to say to this
"And what about you, how are you feeling today?" Uncle now directed his words to the Goblin obsessed adventurer
"I feel fine" he replied
"Anything new happen lately?"
"No, just the usual"
"Going into town later?"
"Yes, i need some supplies to maintain my equipment and also prepare for tomorrow"
"Today is your day off correct?" Uncle asked in his stern tone
"Yes" Goblin slayer replied in a similar tone
"You work awfully hard, its important to take breaks and rest."
"I see, I will try to rest more"
"Good, now there is some delivers my niece has to make into town, you should accompany her"
"Yeah it will be fun!" Cow girl suddenly spoke up
They finished their breakfast and Cow girl headed outside to get the cart ready.
"So" Uncle spoke to Goblin slayer
"She seems very excited recently"
"I suppose so" Goblin slayer said
"Im not sure what it is, but..."
"Just keep her heart in mind," Uncle said softly.
"I will try," Goblin slayer replied in a tone that was almost confused.
"Good, now I think you should go outside to help. I'll clean up in here." Uncle said as he gathered up the dishes.
Goblin slayer didn't say anything as he headed out the door to meet up with Cow Girl.
"Hey handsome" Cow girl was standing the by the cart that was ready to take into town
"Hey" Goblin slayer didnt seem to mind the nickname
"Ready?" he asked her
"One more thing" she said as she non-chalantly walked up to him and put her lips against his
"Now im ready" She said with a big grin
They both started their journey into town
Talking about the usual happenings of the guild and farm business
They both arrived at the first place they were supposed to deliver for
Cow girl was more experienced with the farms business and such so Goblin slayer just stood nearby, that is until he overheard a patron getting rude with Cow girl
"This is the wrong shipment i asked for 14 ounces pounds of cheese, and 20 ounces of bacon. We need it now, or else we cant open today, Do your job next time lady" the patron spoke in an aggresive tone
"I-Im Sorry there must have been a mix up"
Cow Girl started tearing up as she spoke
"What seems to be the problem here"
Goblin slayer asked as he walked next to Cow girl to calm her
"This girl here didnt even bring us what we needed, shes stupid apparently"
Goblin slayer immediately grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and jerked him to his knees
Cow girl was shocked, she had never seen Goblin slayer so angry
"Watch what you say" Goblin slayer said to the restaurant worker
"Its ok, you dont have to hurt him" Cow girl spoke softly, now it was her turn to calm him down
"Hey what seems to be the trouble?" the restaurant owner stepped out
"This man here insulted my friend" Goblin slayer replied
The restaurant owner seeing his silver tag knew whatever had happened was seriously insulting
"I see, well theres no need for any trouble. If you will please put him down, im sure we can resolve this"
"Alright" Goblin slayer let go of the man he was holding so aggresively
"What seems to be the problem?" the Owner asked the worker
"She didnt bring us the supplies we asked for"
"Im sorry there must have been a mix up"
Cow girl spoke up trying to explain the situation
"Well do you have the receipt?" The owner asked the worker
"Err" he replied as he started checking his pockets, where he last placed the receipt
"I put in my pocket somewhere..." he said as he began frantically searching
"You're telling me you put these people through this trouble and you dont even have the damn receipt?!" The owner said with an angry tone
"Im sorry for the inconvience, i assure you this wont happen again"
The owner quickly changed to a soft calming tone as he spoke to Cow girl and Goblin slayer.
"It's Ok we still have a few other deliveries to make, so we best get going" Cow girl said meekly
They both were approaching the guild hall to make their final delivery of the day
"I never seen you so angry before" Cow girl said breaking the silence between the two
"Is that so?" Goblin slayer replied
"Yes, what made you so angry?" Cow girl secretly thought it was attractive he would stand up for her like that
"I-" Goblin slayer paused
"I dont want you to cry" He finally remarked
"Oh, so compassionate arent you?" she teased
"Im not sure; My sister a long time ago, told me i shouldnt let a girl cry" Goblin slayer said while gazing upwards
"Oh, your sister?" Cow girl hadnt talked about her in years, let alone heard him bring her up
"Yes, she died in the village the night the goblins attacked" Goblin slayer switched to a cold monotone
"I always wondered how you made it out" Cow girl pressed her fingers to her lips
"My sister told my to hid under the floorboards, and not move until she told me to" Goblin slayer kept explaining
"I didnt move for hours, even after the Goblins were finished with their carnage"
"I see" Cow girl felt a deep pain her heart listening to the story of agony from Goblin slayers perspective
"Finally the morning came, and i got the courage to move"
Goblin slayer added bleakly "Since my sister wasnt around to tell me to stay put anyways"
Cow girl realized the Goblin slayer she knew as a child had died that night along with his sister
"We're here" Goblin slayer interrupted her thoughts when he spoke
"Unload the cart while i talk with the guild employee"
"Alright" Goblin slayer replied as he started unloading the produce
"Heres your payment ma'am" The guild employee said as she handed Cow girl a hefty bag of coins
"Thank you" Cow girl replied
"Ready to go home?" Goblin slayer asked Cow girl
"Theres a place i want to stop at first before we do" Cow girl
They arrived at this winery that Goblin slayer didn't even know existed
"Wait here, ill be quick" Cow girl said as she went inside
After a few minutes Cow girl came out with a unique bottle of wine
"All done, now lets head home!" She said with a big smile
"Alright" Goblin slayer replied as they set off back to the farm
After dinner Uncle got up and went to bed so it was just Cow girl and Goblin slayer still up, they had all tried some of the wine Cow girl got eariler that day.
"Can i show you something?" Cow girl asked Goblin slayer
"What is it?" he replied
"Come on ill show you silly" Cow girl said grabbing his hand and leading him out the door
"Its in the barn" She informed him
They both entered the barn with Cow girl leading him to a nearby haystack
"So what is it?" Goblin slayer asked
Cow girl didnt say anything but she had this look in her eyes as she bit her lip
She playfully pushed him down onto the haystack, and quickly straddled his lap facing him
"I want you so bad" Cow girl said as she started making out with Goblin slayer pushing her tongue into his mouth as she did so, she also started grinding against his crouch. Goblin slayer on the other hand, put his hands on her hips in this moment of passion.
"Have you ever felt them?" Cow girl asked Goblin slayer
He without a word grabbed her chest and start massaging it, as she moaned softly
"Attaboy" She whispered
Cow girl undid the buttons on her overralls as this exchange happened
At this point she could feel how much Goblin slayer was enjoying this from his pants
"Mmmmm" She moaned softly as she grinded harder
They Slid off the haystack and onto the ground, where Goblin slayer turned himself where he was ontop of Cow girl
"I want you in me" Cow girl demanded
"Understood" Goblin slayer lowly said into her ear as they began a type of passion neither had ever felt, with Cow girl being the louder of the two
The session lasted for awhile until both were spent, at which point they decided to sleep where they laid in the barn
except this time, they were in each others arms.
As the morning approached Goblin slayer was the first to wake up, and with it he woke Cow girl up on accident.
"Good morning handsome" Cow girl while still clinging to him
"Good morning to you too beautiful" he replied
Cow girls heart was warmed by these words which she never heard Goblin slayer say and on Goblin slayers part he never thought he woukd feel this way about someone, atleast not since his village was attacked all those years ago.
Cow girl leaned in for a kiss which Goblin slayer obliged
"Goblin quests today?" she asked
"Yes" he replied
"Come home to me safe, ok?" she stated
"I will" he replied
"Good boy" she teased
"Now im going back into the main house to rest a little more before i start my day, ill see you in a bit" she said as she gave him one more kiss and got up
Goblin slayer smacked her butt to her surprise as she got up
"Mmmmm" She growled
"Later, mister" she remarked as she left the barn
And so began another day for Goblin slayer except this time he had something to come home too, a love for the first time in years.
