Daikon vs Bliz
They stood in place, waiting to see who takes the first step, the bright orange rays of the sun lit their arena, everything was silent until 1 small pebble fell from a high place, suddenly they flew towards each other, clashing fists that shook the ground below.
Their battle looked like fireworks to the untrained eye, moving closer to the sky, Daikon evades the death beams being shot his way while chanting the name of his attack in his mind, Bliz kept his arm aimed forward and shoots a larger purple beam.
Daikon fires a primal cannon, using more power to win the beam struggle, but to his surprise, Bliz stopped his attack, instead he flies toward him, tanking his attack no problem, the Saiyan gasp as the space tyrant was even closer, throwing a quick jab to the forehead.
It hurt, but the Saiyan counter attacks with an elbow to the chest before uppercutting him, Bliz then headbutts him away before shooting a sharp ki slash, which the opponent barely flies over.
Daikon shoots countless ki blasts around the towering alien, creating a smokescreen to block his vision, Bliz looks around, realizing what he's trying to do "Trying to play smart...", he crossed his arms as he listens for clues.
He could hear a larger ki blast fired behind him, quickly shooting a death beam and punching forward, but no one was there, before he can process this, Daikon was able to kick the back of his head with both feet, surprising them both.
"This is it, another chance to attack!" the Saiyan thought to himself, aiming a punch, however, Bliz smacked him with the back of his fist, afterwards using his tail to grab his leg and throw him down, Bliz flies down with a stomp, the impact leaving a crater.
Daikon groaned with pain greater than anything before, trying to escape this position, the tyrant briefly giggled with satisfaction, that was until he was shot in the face point blank with a stronger ki blast, Daikon was freed, landing a kick to the face before jumping back.
Bliz shook his head while regaining sight, continuing the battle, being surprised by Daikon's knowledge in martial arts, the Saiyan dodged one of his swings, aiming 2 fingers before forming a fist and striking his chest, also using his other arm to throw an air punch.
"I've only seen Saiyans use their brute force and sluggish fighting styles, never like this" Bliz would comment, only witnessing the usual ways they fight, Daikon was surprised by the comment, but stayed focused.
"But no matter the extent of your mastery, you'll fall just like they did" Bliz spoke with confidence, he powers up as the wind blew furiously against his opponent, Daikon sensing his ki increase much more, he tries to attack, but he was quickly hit in the stomach.
He crashes through multiple buildings, each hit stung immensely, Daikon slowly struggled back up, holding onto his bleeding right shoulder, he breathes with sweat covering his forehead.
"There has to be some weakness he has..." he thought to himself, Bliz descends from the air floating above the city, using his finger to taunt the Saiyan to attack, with no other options at this quick moment, Daikon powers up and flies to the towering alien.
Daikon threw a punch directly at his face, the enemy not moving an inch, he continued to relentlessly attack, his punches and kicks barely did damage to the slightly powered up monster in front of him, that was until he fired another point-blank attack "Riot Flash!".
With the power boost from ki attacks, Bliz was hurt by the blast, a bit of annoyance escaped his voice with a growl, as Daikon continues to fire blasts at him while flying back, Bliz tanks through all of it, fast approaching with menacing purple ki "I'll crush you!".
He threw a hard punch at the Saiyan, kicking his stomach, grabbing his leg and throwing him to the sky, Bliz flies up with a double axe handle before blasting Dailon with his purple beam attack "Die!", shooting him back to the ground.
A large explosion can be seen in the distance, blasting all the buildings in its radius to smithereens, worrying everyone as they watched, Kurome clenched her fists before moving ahead, Akame would try to stop her "Kurome, what are you thinking?".
The black-eyed sister responds with conviction "We can't be standing here, we need to help him the best way we can, I'm not letting him die!", Akame froze as she thought about what to do.
Everyone else would agree, Run stepping forward "We should be fighting for our world together, we must do everything in our power to lend him a hand", the former teacher spoke truth, they must risk their lives to protect their planet.
Akame remembered the past once again, she, Kurome, and Daikon all stuck together and worked together, their teamwork led them to victory, not to mention her being reminded of why there was friction between her and her sister.
"You're right, he needs our help and...I don't want to be a failure of a sister again..." Akame let out, Kurome listened to her words, feeling the guilt of not trusting her own sibling over a government, then everyone ran closer to the fight, all the destroyed buildings made it easier to get closer.
Daikon was still holding up against Bliz, though the space tyrant still had the upper hand, holding him up by the head "That woman would have already been dead at this point, your survivability is impressive...", Daikon knew he was referring to Esdeath.
The Saiyan tried attacking again, but Bliz threw him forward and shot a large death beam, blasting him into another pile of ruined buildings, "But for a Saiyan, I was expecting much more", Daikon rose from the rubble, clenching his right fist before attacking.
He punched his face as fast as he could, but each punch wasn't doing anything, the space tyrant stood still as he tanked each attack, he was even gonna fire another primal cannon, but he was already stopped by a painful punch.
Bliz hit his gut once more, causing much more pain this time, he smacked him into a wall with his tail, punching him repeatedly in the face, Daikon fell back on the ground before he was stomped on, a scream escaped his mouth.
A horrifying laugh echoed through Bliz's mouth as he then tortured him with lower power death beams, even after all that, Daikon remained strong, his body wounded, but not completely worn, the space tyrant was intrigued with his durability.
"While I could keep this going, I need to put you and your entire race down for good", he would use 2 fingers to charge a large death beam, aiming his arm directly towards Daikon's face, who looked like he has seen a ghost.
Just when he was about to fire, someone kicked him away from his grounded opponent, Tatsumi was back in the evolved Incursio, already have regained his strength, Daikon was surprised to see him here, but the brown-haired assassin simply helps him off the ground.
"Good thing I came in time..." Tatsumi spoke, realizing how much punishment the Saiyan had taken, the left half of Daikon's shirt had been burned off, he had lots of battle damage, but he shakes it off, stretching his arms.
"Thanks for the help..." Daikon would regain his strength, powering back up and getting into fighting position "Anyways, let's do this!", Tats would agree, both fly at Bliz full speed, the alien welcoming them to attack, all 3 clash and further damage the arena.
The Human and Saiyan worked together against their common foe, causing Bliz to slide back from their relentless attacks, but he would increase his ki and smack Tatsumi away with one arm and punch Daikon with the other.
Tatsumi counter attacks with a roundhouse kick, Daikon punches his gut with both fists, angering the large alien even further "That's enough you gnats!", he blasts them away with a burst attack, Bliz was growing more irritated, losing his focus.
As the fight progressed, they felt like they needed to finish this quickly, "More power!" Daikon shouts, Tats understood, summoning and throwing his halberd as a distraction, the alien grabs and snaps it in half, that was enough for the duo to make a move.
Daikon and Tats fly backwards, both creating their respective attacks, they scream and shoot the primal cannon and a stream of fire, combining it into one attack, Bliz uses his own attack to block it.
Its power was forcing him to use more of his strength, he roared as his own attack was pushing back, the beam struggle was at a stalemate, but as more ki was being used, the struggle would end with an explosion, an even larger crater was formed.
The aftermath of the explosion could be seen, most of the buildings in this section of the city are destroyed, the ground was just dirt and pavement, Daikon and Tatsumi were getting fatigued, breathing heavily while staring forward.
Bliz now had burn marks and battle damage on his body, while irritated, he was pleasantly surprised by this display of power "I'll make sure your deaths will be painful, but be proud it took you this much effort to kill...".
"Ah crap..." Tatsumi muttered, seeing how he was still standing, Daikon was still not backing down, getting ready to continue the fighting, though as Bliz was fast approaching, someone kicked his back with both her feet.
Kurome was able to land a hit on Bliz, he turns in confusion and annoyance "A girl?", he quickly tried to grab her, but Run shot his feathers at him, allowing her to gain distance, the rest of the team arrived in time, Akame jumps next to Tatsumi.
"You've done a good job Tatsumi, now let's finish this together" she says before stepping forward, Kurome was next to Daikon, checking his wounds with a worried expression, but he has recovered from all that damage, his Saiyan genes pulling through.
"I'm fine Kurome, but thanks..." Daikon was thankful for her concern, the 2 were now even closer compared to back then, but now wasn't the time for chit chat, they give each other a smile and look toward the battle ahead.
Run was flying over the alien with his wings, using even more of his feathers to damage Bliz, but they were incinerated by his ki blasts, "What a nuisance" he muttered, jumping to smack the blonde down to the dirt, Bols would try to help with his flames, but it wasn't looking too good.
Daikon and Kurome launch their attacks, the black-eyed girl was able to punch his face, but this would annoy the alien, he attempts to punch her, but Daikon blocks it, the 2 slide away, wondering what to do, Tatsumi would jump in, but Akame stayed still.
"Everyone needs me, but I can't do anything against him..." she talks to herself, but another thought crossed her mind, remembering her adopted father's words, she can be the one to bring out Murasames true potential, all she must do...is embrace her inner devil.
She closely stares at her own teigu, her face reflected on the blade, she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, and chanting to herself "I've killed countless people because that's all I ever knew, I was even willing to kill my own sister".
She grips the handle tightly "I accept responsibility for the lives I have taken, the for the life I could have taken, and the humanity I must discard...to protect my sister...", as to further prove to Murasame that she accepts her demon...she cuts herself.
As they were fighting Bliz, something else caught their attention, even Bliz was curious "What's this?", Akame was crouching down, her screams were covered by a demonic echo, a dark flaming purple aura surrounds her, and markings were permanently formed on her body.
"Akame!" Tatsumi shouted in fear for his friend, Kurome looked frightened and worried for her sister, Daikon was wondering what was happening to her, the screams continued, and after all that...there was silence.
Akame opened her eyes, now completely black and red, her red markings showed that she wasn't normal anymore, she had transformed into a devil thanks to Murasames curse, her flaming aura followed her as she started to speak in a cold tone "I'll bury you!".
She sprints into action, kicking Bliz in the chest, attempting to swing her dark blade, though the space tyrant was still not taking her seriously, landing a strong punch to her gut, which hurt, but Murasames trump card was helping her resist the pain.
Susanoo jumps in to help, using his weapon to smack him on the back, but Bliz just grabbed the weapon and hits him and Akame with it, afterwards he fires death beams and a beam attack "Scum!", everyone dodged his attacks, now uniting together.
Daikon would gain enough strength to stand a better chance, punching Bliz across the ruined city, but the alien quickly used his death slash, forcing the Saiyan to dodge "Phew, that was close", but he was punched to the ground.
"All those worms are doing well against me, especially you Saiyan, but there's one thing you should know" Bliz speaks before grabbing his throat and slamming him against a wall "I'm only at 50%!".
This scared Daikon, even after all that, he isn't at full power, but before the conversation can continue, Akame and Kurome land solid blows to his back and his head, helping the Saiyan escape his clutches, the 3 of them fight it out in the streets.
Bliz blocks the sisters with both arms, allowing Daikon to punch and kick him, then firing the primal cannon, forcing the alien to tank the attack, Tatsumi would jump in with fire balls and his halberd, while this was going on, the other 3 fighters were catching their breath.
Susanoo can't be at full power right now, he needs more energy from his owner, but to his surprise, he can hear dozens of Rebel soldiers arriving in time, Najenda had made her appearance, but seeing all this damage filled her with dread.
"Najenda?" Su spoke in a worn state "I didn't think you would make it this late", Night Raids leader, as well as the other soldiers, were too stunned at the state of the city, but the silver haired woman shook her head, focusing on the important matter.
"You look like you need a boost again..." she said with seriousness, noticing the state he's in, she was about to lend him more of her life force, which would severely cut her days short, but the living teigu would reject her.
"No thanks mam, I don't think me at full strength would do much of anything at this point, leave it to the Saiyan..." he truthfully tells her, she let out a sigh, understanding his decision, but she raised her arm and aims at the battle.
She shouts in a commanding voice "Attack the large purple alien, glory to the rebellion!", suddenly, all her soldiers charged forward, while a scary suicide mission, they were willing to risk their lives for their world, the number of soldiers surprised everyone else, but not Bliz.
He breaks away from the fight and floats above "You apes throw away your worthless lives so easily!", he aimed his arm at the army, obliterating dozens of men and women with his beam attack, afterwards he crashes down, murdering them with his prowess.
Blasting them with his ki, burning their bodies into nothing but skeletal remains, he was enjoying the pain and torment he was delivering, a small break from the real battle, this sight would anger the red-eyed assassin, being reminded of the ice queen herself.
"You...MONSTER!" Akame shouts, powering up and dashing to the tyrant, she repeatedly swung her blade against him, desperately trying to kill him, he grabs her head and flies above the soldiers, staring into her eyes.
"You've been a real nuisance, allow me to discipline you" he coldly remarked, throwing her to the ground, blowing away any soldier near them, Bliz holds her by the throat with his tail, clenching his fists and slowly punching her back.
Akame's screams alarmed her comrades, especially Kurome, with anger, she runs to save her "Sis!", after Bliz had killed more than half the soldiers, there was room for Kurome to jump in, seeing this, Bliz throws Akame to the side and fights the black-eyed sister "You're a brave one, but I'll be granting you death".
Kurome kicks his arm down and jabs at his forehead, doing real damage to him, unfortunately he wasn't having it this time, he kicks her face and blasted her away with a ki blast, knocking her to the ground, she struggled to get back up.
Tatsumi flies in, after witnessing Akame's torture, he screams with a flaming punch to the face, rapidly attacking the tyrant until he was tired, Bliz grabs his head and flies toward more buildings, sliding his face across each one and knocking him into one, destroying it with an explosion.
The wielder of incursio was back to normal, all his energy was depleted as he laid there, gritting his teeth, Bliz turns his attention back to his target, the Saiyan, Daikon immediately goes in with another riot flash, but it wasn't effective.
"All your friends are desperate for my attention, all they do is barbarically run into battles they aren't prepared for, you've put up a good fight monkey, but this time...I'll finish what even Frieza couldn't" Bliz hits him hard, punching his face as he stumbled back "The extinction of your race!".
With the amount of hits he was taking, Daikon was on the brink, his energy was plenty, but what was the point if you can't do anything with it, he was punched to the ground, stomped on and kicked one last time as Bliz pointed his fingers once again.
Daikon stares at the ground while he crouched, blood and sweat covered his face "It can't end like this, I can't die...I need...to fulfill my promise...", remembering the request from Gin, what Natala would have wanted, his and Kurome's survival, there's no way it can end this way.
"Daikon!" Kurome yells with a high voice, she attempts to run in and save him, but someone else stops her, Akame pushes her away, gives her a comforting smile before running to the execution, Kurome couldn't react, she can only watch.
"Ever since we were taken by the empire, we were trained to be soulless killers, however, for some reason I was given better treatment, you were thrown away to a different team with a crueler leader while I was treated like family in my own".
"As the older sister, I needed to be there for you, to protect you, but all the death, all the pain we go through, I was distracted by my own needs to get back at the Empire for what they did to us, but I did so without being able to take you with me".
"I failed you as a big sister, you deserve better, a better life than me, because all I'm good for is killing, everyone I ever cared for died or will be the next ones to die, If I ever had to kill you...I would lose my mind, I would have fallen into despair, If you were alone...this would be harder to do".
"But you're not alone, somehow fate brought you a Saviour from the stars, a Saviour who saved you from an even worse life, without him...I don't want to imagine what would happen, what you could have become, because he's here I want to thank him for what he's done, Daikon...I need you to live".
Bliz fired his death beam, hoping he can finally destroy the Saiyan race for good, but the beam was blocked from hitting Daikon, Akame shields him from the attack, the death beam piercing her heart, Daikon was frozen, unable to process what just happened with wide eyes.
Kurome watched her sister's body fall to the ground, the body wore a smile with lifeless eyes, tears would fall from Kurome's black eyes, in her mind...she was guilty of being blinded by their government, the black-eyed sister let out a scream of sadness "AKAME!".
Tatsumi was able to witness, he too was in tears, even if he wasn't with her for the longest time, he always admired her, valued her as a true friend, this death, just like his mentor, would haunt him for life.
Najenda, the other Jaegers, and the army was speechless at this loss, but nothing could compare to the emotions of her younger sister...and the only Saiyan on this planet, Daikon was unable to speak, just like with Gin, like Natala, another friend dies in front of him.
He could hear Kurome's weeps in the distance, with teary eyes he was gonna do the same, but the murderer spoke "Another worthless kill, she was an imp either way, never amounting to anything", in Bliz's eyes, she did nothing to annoy him, no real challenge to him, just another body to the pile.
After hearing such words, Daikon stood up with a stomp that cracked the ground, "You...Bastard!" he yelled with intense anger, anger he was never able to summon until this very moment, his fists clenched, his body shaking, his face wore pure rage "How dare you, I'll make you PAY!".
Bliz was intrigued, but something bothered him about this, he noticed pebbles floating in the air, the weather was changing, sounds of thunder and lightning, Daikon's hair was beginning to spike up, no other Saiyan can do such a thing "What is this?" Bliz quietly asked himself.
Kurome stopped crying after realizing something was happening with Daikon, she could see him shaking and twitching, for a moment she saw his hair briefly change color, a gold color, she remembered his giant monkey form, but this was different.
Bliz feelt the wind grow stronger, more violent, Daikon started growling, the Saiyan remembered his fallen friends, Gin, Natala, and now Akame, Daikon's pupils briefly disappeared as he lets out a powerful roar of fury like a great ape, his aura explodes to the surface.
A bright light briefly blinded everyone, and once everything was visible again...they froze, Kurome was speechless, same thing with Tatsumi, Najenda, everyone, they couldn't believe their eyes, but Bliz looked worried, his eyes twitched, he even stepped back "What the-!" he stuttered.
Daikon stood in front of him, his hair spiked up, no longer black, now it was blonde, his new aura gave his hair a golden glow, his eyes were now greenish blue, his tears were gone, replaced with his angered expression, he wasn't the same anymore.
"N-no, Saiyans turn into apes, what is this?" Bliz was super confused with a hint of fear, he's never seen anything like this, the fear can be heard in his voice when he realized something "T-this can't be, there's no way, Is this...THE LEGEND?!".
Suddenly, Daikon appears in front of the towering alien, delivering the most painful punch Bliz has ever felt to his stomach, the tyrant yelled in pain, stumbling back while coughing, the others were still frozen in shock, but Daikon alerted them.
"Everyone, leave at once..." he coldly spoke, Kurome still couldn't move, staring at his golden hair, but he quickly turned to face her and the rest of them "NOW!", this scared Kurome, he was never like this, even while angry, but she quickly obeyed him and ran back.
She was going to take Akame's body with her, but Tatsumi quickly helped her with that, they both carried her body away with them, the army would turn back and pay attention to the possible surviving civilians.
Najenda watched Akame's body be carried away, she closed her single eye "I'm sorry this happened, I wish the rest of us were here sooner...", Tatsumi gave her the body and they start leaving, Kurome leaves with Run and Bols, looking at Daikon one more time before they finally left.
Bliz finished coughing, but now he started giggling, he was still at half his power, maybe if he goes all out, he can finish off this monkey, but something wasn't right, why is he still afraid?
Either way, the space tyrant would look at his enemy, exchanging words "You're the strongest Saiyan I ever met, no other lifeform on this very planet holds a candle to your power, and because of that...you are actually worthy of witnessing my true power!"
Daikon remained serious, unmoved by his compliment, he gave a simple reply "Then show me...", the alien felt offended by such a simple answer, but that didn't matter, what mattered was exterminating what he thought was the last remaining Saiyan.
The true battle has just begun, everyone evacuated from the area after such shocking events, after the loss of yet another friend, Daikon erupted with anger, transforming into a legend, this new awakening is their last chance at stopping Bliz.
