As the group returned to the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters, Tanjuro wondered how his family was doing. All of his family. Especially his Wife. Kie had been asleep for a while now, ever since the Mugen Train Mission. If she was awake now, that meant that she was fully recovered from any injuries she'd sustained from Rui. He knew that he had to visit Kagaya first to introduce Hakuji, but then- Tanjuro and his Demons walked through the area, the blue sky having been obscured by storm clouds. Tanjuro glanced up at it worriedly, "I hope everyone is going to be okay. But, then again, my family and I did used to live on a mountain, where it snowed a lot. They should know not to go out in a storm" Tanjuro said to himself.
"I'm sure they'll all be okay Mr Tanjuro" Sayuri said with a smile. That was a look she had been wearing a lot since he'd saved her from Rui. Tanjuro nodded, "yes. I have no reason to think that we won't be there before the storm starts" he agreed. Tanjuro and his Demons finally made it to the Ubuyashiki Mansion. "So. This is it, huh?" Hakuji muttered to himself. "Hm?" Tanjuro asked, turning to look at his latest Demon. "Oh, no. Sorry. I didn't mean to say that out loud. I just- Muzan has been trying to find this place for centuries. It just seems surreal that I'm finally here" Hakuji replied.
"Don't worry. No one will hurt you while I'm here" Tanjuro said, placing a hand on his back. Hakuji sighed, "I didn't know I was that easy to read" the former Upper Rank Demon said, wilting slightly. "Well, I'd rather be able to know how you feel so I can help you, than leave you suffering in silence Hakuji" the Kamado Patriarch said. Hakuji looked down, a small smile forming on his face as he did. Lord Tanjuro was a lot different than Muzan. He was glad that he was here. If he hadn't Hakuji probably would have gone to the Demon Slayer Corps itself, but there was no reason that they wouldn't have killed him immediately.
"So, after this we're going to the Love Hashira estate to see our family's. I hope you don't mind Hakuji?" Tanjuro asked. "Oh! Uh, no, that's fine. Do you all have family there?" he asked curiously. "My Wife and children are staying there, and so are Shizu's children, who adopted me as their Father while their Mother wasn't able to look after them" Tanjuro explained. "Oh! I see. I didn't expect that" the pink-haired Demon replied in understanding. "Well, here we are" the Kamado Demon said, as they arrived at a large mansion. A white-haired woman was waiting at the front door.
Tanjuro bowed his head to her, which was the closest he could get to a proper bow, "Lady Amane" he said. "Tanjuro," she replied, her strange purple eyes locking onto Hakuji's form then. The Demon tried not to flinch, and he bowed his head to the woman. She was obviously very important if his Lord was showing her such respect. "So, you have gained another Demon. My Husband said as much. Please follow me" Amane replied. The group of Demons entered the building and followed the woman into a meeting room. There, they found Kagaya sitting at a desk, running his fingers over what looked like brail letters.
"Master, Tanjuro Kamado has returned with a new Demon" she said, moving over to kneel next to the man. Kagaya turned his blind gaze over to them, the marring over his body having spread down the side of his neck, making Tanjuro wince. The Demon King again bowed his head in respect, "it's good to see you well Kagaya," he said. "I have brought you my newest Demon. This is Hakuji, the former Upper Rank 3" Tanjuro explained. Hakuji, unsure what to do, took a knee in front of the human, like he would do with Muzan. "I saw as such a few nights ago, as the Crows reported to me as well. You and your children and Demons did very well at the Mugen Train. I am grateful to you all. It was thanks to your help that no one died" Kagaya said with a serene smile.
Tanjuro relaxed at the sound of his voice. "I am glad to see that your forces are increasing Tanjuro. It will be a big help in finally ending Muzan once and for all" the Master added. "Well, I believe that your Wife woke up from her sleep a few days ago. I'm sure you want to see her and the rest of your family, so I won't keep you any longer" Kagaya said. "Thank you Sir" Tanjuro said gratefully. The Kamado and his Demons turned and left the Master's Estate. Tanjuro sighed as he ran, 'I may think we need to do all we can to earn our pardon, but still- I am grateful to get to see everyone instead of getting another Mission so soon' he thought. The group ran through the Headquarters towards the Love Hashira's Estate, and Tanjuro wondered if Mitsuri would be there.
He should also check on Tanjiro and Nezuko after this. A Crow had told him that they had requested to be transferred to the Butterfly Mansion, since they had wanted to see their Mother as soon as they could. At least most of his children would be fine. As he thought this, he wondered how Sanemi was doing. Had he written his Siblings any letters since being taken back to Urokodak's? He was sure Shizu would love to find out how her Son was doing. Oh well. One thing at a time.

Soon the group of Demons arrived. "This is the Love Hashira's Estate? It's very pink" Hakuji observed. "Yay! We get to see Miss Mitsuri again! She's really nice!" Sayuri cheered happily. "Alright everyone, remember to be careful of damaging anything with your strength" Tanjuro said. Then he knocked on the door. This time, Mitsuri's Mother, Kanna answered the door. She smiled, "Oh, Tanjuro! Welcome back!" she said, moving aside to let them in. "Thank you Ma'am" Tanjuro said, as he and his Demons entered the house. "Did you hear about your Wife?" the Kanroji Mother asked.
"Yes. I can't wait to see her. Is she with our children?" Tanjuro asked. Kanna nodded, "yes. Your youngest daughter and the Shinazugawa girls are doing her hair right now" she replied with a smile. Tanjuro nodded his thanks to her, and then entered the house to find his family. Shizu hurried ahead of him to see her own children, making Tanjuro smile. They entered a large room, with an open door on the far side of the room, that showed Shigeru, Shuya and Hiroshi playing together. He looked around the room, to find Koto and Rokuta both sleeping in small Futon's near where Teiko, Sumi and Hanako were indeed doing Kie's hair.
Tanjuro smiled gently at seeing this. He entered the room, "sorry to interrupt girls, but can I see my Wife?" he asked. The three girls looked up at them, and all three lit up. Hanako ran over to him, "Daddy!" she said happily, running into his arms. The Shinazugawa girls were scooped up by their Mother, as all three hugged each other happily. Tanjuro walked over to Kie with Hanako in his arms. She stood up and smiled at him around her muzzle, reaching out to wrap her arms around them, being careful of her human daughter between them. "I missed you Kie," Tanjuro said softly, cupping her face with one hand, and still holding his daughter in the other.
He kissed her forehead, looking lovingly into her hazy purple eyes. His Wife nuzzled against him with a happy hum, wrapping her arms around him. They just stood like that for several minutes, before Hanako began to wiggle to get down. He placed the 8-year-old down onto the floor and looked around at everyone. Shizu was hugging her younger Sons, Shigeru was talking excitedly to Sayuri, Hanako had gone back over to Teiko and Sumi, who were showing their Mother the picture's they'd drawn, Yukito had picked up a book and was reading it quietly to himself in the corner, Haruka was talking to Hakuji about something, and Hiroshi, Shigeru and Shuya were now leaning on the Engawa listening to the conversation their Siblings were having with Shizu.
Tanjuro sat down with his Wife, both content to simply watch other their large family. But Tanjuro had a feeling that these happy times wouldn't last for as long as he'd want.

That night, dinner was a very crowded and loud affair. Not that the Kanroji family seemed to mind at all. Tanjuro, his Demons and Kie all sat against the wall, watching over everyone and talking to each other. Tanjuro and Kie sat next to each other, cuddling and just being close. The Kamado Father felt calm and relaxed for the first time since they'd come here. Surrounded by his family, he felt so happy and loved. A part of him wondered what everyone would do when they'd all become human again. Would they ever see each other again? Tanjuro shook the thoughts away, and tried to relax.
After dinner, he and Shizu made sure all of their children washed up and got ready for bed properly. The different families had separate rooms, so Shizu stayed with her children as they slept, and Tanjuro and Kie looked after their own, along with Haruka. The other Demons, on the other hand were given a separate room to sleep in, so that the family's could have some privacy. Since Kie had just woken up, and wasn't hurt or anything, she didn't need to go back to sleep yet. So Tanjuro spent the night telling her about his Missions in a low voice, so as not to wake their children. The female Demon cuddled up to him, humming softly, and feeling safe and relaxed together with her Husband.
