Tanjuro hurried to where he could sense Daki fighting with Hakuji. Just then Shizu appeared at his left, "all the c-civillians ar-round the area are e-evacuat-ted Sir!" she called. "Great job! Are you ready to fight Upper 6 Shizu?!" Tanjuro called over the sound of the wind. The Shinazugawa Mother nodded firmly, "yes Sir!" she replied.

Hakuji kept his senses open, guiding the battle into areas and buildings that were clear of humans. Unfortunately, as a Demon, there wasn't much he could do to Daki. Unless Lord Tanjuro turned up soon, this would just end up being a stalling game, where he was waiting hours for the sun to rise. And while he could do that, there was no guarantee that Gyutaro wouldn't emerge in that time, or that Daki wouldn't unleash a wide range attack that would claim more human lives than he could protect. Hakuji clenched his fists. When he'd joined Lord Tanjuro, he'd sworn and oath. He'd promised the other Demon King that he would use his strength to protect humans, and, never harm them again.

So, he had to do this. His strength was for protecting people after all. That's what his Master always taught him. An Obi went for his arms, but Hakuji knocked them away from him. Suddenly bright flames exploded around him, making Daki reel back with a screech. Tanjuro and Shizu landed next to him, "thanks for holding her off for me Hakuji" Tanjuro said, holding his Katana in his hands. Daki severed her burning Obi, and glared at him, "it's you! You're that Bitch that defied me!" she cried. Tanjuro allowed his human disguise to melt away, revealing his Demon form, as he growled at her, "how could you treat innocent children like that?! It was probably your own fault that room was wrecked like that!" he snarled.

The Upper Six glared at him, "it doesn't matter who caused the damage! In this District, beauty is the only measure of worth that matters. Ugly wretches may as well die for all I care! And if they can't even do the one thing I told them to do, all the more reason to get rid of the trash!" Daki said. Tanjuro felt his anger grow, thinking of the two little girls who had been so terrified of Daki, even when she was acting as a human. "Trash? They're living people! Children who haven't even reached their teenage years yet!" he thought of Tanjiro, who was only 13, and all of his other children, who were younger than him. "HOW CAN YOU TREAT INNOCENT LIVES LIKE GARBAGE?!" Tanjuro yelled.

Hakuji hit her with an Air-Type attack, sending Daki into a partly destroyed building. Obi exploded out of the wood, slicing it into pieces, as it collapsed to the ground with a crash. Daki leapt into the air, and Shizu punched her back into the ground. "Ahhh! Damn it!" she shrieked, Obi twisting around her like agitated snakes. 'This ugly Bastard is pissing me off! There' no way he's really a Demon King like Lord Muzan! I can take care of this by myself!' Daki thought. "Why should I care about miserable humans? They are nothing but weak, ugly pieces of shit, who only care about themselves! Humans don't care if other's are hungry, or freezing, or barely have enough to survive. As long as they have what they need, they don't give a damn about those underneath them!" she replied.

"That's why I'm so glad that I don't remember anything about being human! Because now, I'm a Demon! And beautiful, powerful Demons like me, can do whatever we want!" Daki cried, launching another attack. Tanjuro sighed, "fine" he said. Then he breathed. 'Hinokami Kagura: Burning Bones, Summer Sun!' he thought, as he performed a circular slash that severed several of the Obi attacking them. "Ow! What the hell is that ability! It burns like the sun!" Daki shrieked in pain. "Shizu!" he called, as the Shinazugawa nodded, "yes!" the small Demon replied in determination. As more Obi shot towards them, Shizu engulfed herself in her Sheild. As soon as the Obi moved through the barrier, they fluttered to the ground, robbed of life and left as normal pieces of fabric.

"What?!" Daki cried in shock, before Tanjuro leapt for her neck. He knew that decapitating her now would only cause Gyutaro to emerge, but he didn't exactly have a choice in the situation. Any time that he could buy to evacuate everyone was worth it. "You ugly traitor! Don't you dare touch me!" the Upper Six Demon cried, sending out even more Obi, that sliced through the air, ground and buildings around them. Hakuji managed to dodge the attack, but Tanjuro and Shizu were both sliced into pieces. Despite knowing that they would be fine, the black-haired Demon was still worried, "Lord Tanjuro!" he cried, moving to kick Daki out of the way, as the Demon King and his fellow Demon pulled themselves back together.

Suddenly, in a blur of motion, a purple figure burst onto the road and kicked Daki's head into a splatter of blood. Everyone froze, as the body of the Upper 6 Demon was sent crashing across the ground, over all of them, and eventually smashing into a wall, causing the wood to crash on top of Daki's body. Tanjuro looked to see who was the Demon who had helped them. Was it Yukito? But no. Growling with fury, her veins popping all over her body, and rage in her eyes, Kie stood in front of them, her long black and silver hair blowing in the wind. "Kie!" Tanjuro called, but his Wife didn't even seem to hear him. She just continued to snarl through her muzzle, glaring at the building she'd kicked Daki into. Tanjuro finished healing and stood up, just as their enemy burst out of the rubble, Obi swishing around her furiously, half of her head missing.

"Damn it! Another one?! Lord Muzan told me about the Demon with fire powers, but he didn't say anything about this Bitch!" she seethed. "Kie! Come over here!" Tanjuro called. But his Wife didn't seem to hear him. Instead she leapt at Daki, aiming another kick for her head. "Kie!" Tanjuro cried, as the Obi lashed forwards to slice his Wife apart. Suddenly, Daki's Obi were sliced into pieces, Tengan emerging into view, as he sliced off the Demon's head. Tanjuro and all of his Demon's froze. Then Hakuji exploded, "what the fuck?! Do you not remember what I said about Gyutaro!" he yelled, as Daki's head fell to the ground. The Sound Hashira landed in front of them, "of course I do! You said that we have to cut both her and her Brother's heads off simultaneously! Which we can't do until her Brother comes out!" Tengan replied loudly.

Tanjuro sweat-dropped, "well, I guess that makes sense" he said quietly. The Hahira drew his twin blades, "my Wives are helping with the evacuation, and I've sent Hinatsuru away, since she had to poison herself to get out before" Tengan explained. "Now," he said, eyes focused on Daki, who was kneeling on the ground with her head in her hands, "let's deal with this flashily!" he said, preparing to fight.

Daki stared up at the Hashira who had beheaded her the group of Demon traitors standing behind him. This wasn't fair! She should have been able to kill them and the Hahira easily! She had killed 7 Hashira. One of them, along with these Demon traitors should be no problem for her, so why?! The only reason she could think of was that they had cheated! They had ganged up on her and bullied her! Tears welled up in her eyes, and she began to wail in frustration, anger, pain and indignation. Tanjuro narrowed his eyes, all of them tensed and ready for Gyutaro to emerge. If they could cut his head off while his Sister was still beheaded, they should both die.

"It's not fair! You cheated! If you all hadn't bullied me, this wouldn't have happened! I'm so much stronger than all of you! You're worthless compared to me!" Daki cried, sobbing angrily. "Help me! Big Brother!" she screamed. Tanjuro tensed, as a form began to emerge from the female Demon's neck. As the head fully formed, his eyes widened, 'there!' he thought, shooting forwards with his Sword ready to decapitate the other Demon- he gouged deep scratches into his chest, and his blood seemed to come to life, "Blood Demon Art: Flying Blood Sickles!" he cried. Suddenly a massive amount of razor-sharp sickles made of blood exploded out of Gyutaro's body, blowing them back.

Most of them were cut into pieces again, while the building was completely shredded. Hakuji jumped on top of Tengan, the injuries inflicted on his body healing faster than they could be created. As the dust settled, and Tanjuro and his Demons pulled themselves back together, Tanjuro heard sniffling coming from where the building had been, and a strange-sounding voice too, "there, there. Your head is attached again, see? You really can't even do that on your own, can you? You need to get stronger Daki. You can't rely on me forever you know" the voice, probably belonging to Gyutaro said. Tanjuro, now fully healed, grabbed his Sword again, "is everyone alright?" he hissed. Sounds of agreement rang out through the dispersing cloud of dust.

"Alright then. Get ready" Tanjuro said lowly. A figure walked through the dust, and suddenly Daki's Obi whipped out to clear it faster. Tanjuro growled as he saw Daki perched on her Older Brother's shoulder's, "let's hurry up and deal with this, before all our food gets away. Too bad for you that you don't know just how powerful we are. After all, two is better than one, you know?" Gyutaro said with a grin. Tanjuro returned the grin, confident in his allies, "in case you can't count, there are 5 of us and only two of you. And we will kill you, and protect everyone in this District" Tanjuro said determinedly.
