-The Tournament-

Mario easily won tournament 5. It was now time for tournament 6. The final round. It was Mario Vs Link. Link closed his eyes before the fight. (Are you watching, Kirby?) He thought in his head. He's going to win. He's going to win for her. This is his moment. If she sees how strong and amazing he is, she'll dump Little Mac and come crawling back to him. He needs to win. He has to.

Mario threw a fireball at him once the match started. Link used his shield to protect himself. Mario continued to apply pressure. Link jumped into the air above Mario and threw his sword straight down onto him. Mario couldn't jump out of the way in time. He made an impact! This wasn't enough to finish the plumber off. Mario grabbed Link and slammed him onto the floor. He rolled away before Mario could do more.

Link gained distance from Mario. The plumber charged his F.L.U.D.D. Link charged his arrow. The two released their projectiles. The arrow wasn't strong enough to pierce through the water. Link was pushed off the stage however he used his own bomb to blast himself to the ledge. Mario tried to ledge guard him using his cape. Luckily Link air dodged it. He did his spun attack and cut the fuck out of Mario. Mario fell on his ass, this is the perfect time for the hero of time to punish. He charged up his side smash attack and sliced Mario. Mario went flying out of the stage. GAME! Link won the finals. He is now deemed the winner of the Grand Smash Christmas Tournament.

Once Link came back from the teleporter, everyone surrounded him telling him congrats. He smiled and shyly waved at them. Mario gave him a handshake and said "Good game." This is Link's moment. His girlfriend Zelda hugged him the entire time bragging about how awesome and strong her husband is. Everyone wanted to celebrate. They began planning an after party for him.

The party took place in the ballroom. Everyone was there. Everyone except Lucas and Ness. Everyone thought it was weird that Lucas was gone, but everyone assumed that the blonde was looking for his best friend.

Link was the center of attention. No one wanted to leave him alone. Not to mention how protective Zelda was. She never left his side.

Kirby and Little Mac were at the party. She seemed down, but Little Mac continued to cheer her up. Hmph! What an incompetent motherfucker Link thought in his head. She clearly doesn't want to be with him, yet he's still trying to be a 'good boyfriend'. Psssh, he probably abuses her when they're alone. Link wanted to walk up to the two, but Zelda was keeping an eye on him. He looked around his surroundings to see if there was a way he could get Kirby alone with him.

The other smashers kept praising Link. At one point, Radiant Ike pressured Link to do a speech. He didn't want to. He doesn't like being in the spotlight, but the rest kept pressuring him to get up on stage. He sighed and did so. Everyone went quiet and listened to his speech. It made Ganon cry for some reason.

Kirby watched Link go up on stage. She smiled at him. He deserved this. He worked hard and is a powerful player. She held Little Mac's hand as Link did his speech. Seeing Link get up on stage, despite him really not wanting to do it, gave her confidence. She needs to tell Little Mac how she felt about their relationship lately. She can't hold back anymore. If Link the shy swordsman can do it, she can too!

After the speech, Kirby felt determined. She needs to talk to Little Mac alone. She pulled his arm away and motioned him to follow her out of the ballroom. He did so. He wondered why they were leaving so early.

"Um, wait, what about the party?" He asked.

"I'm sorry, did you still want to party? I want to talk to you about something."

"Talking to you is more important. Lead the way."

Kirby took them to the rooftop. It was beautiful. They could see the garden on one side and a big city on the other. All those pretty neon lights shining around them. She couldn't help but stare in awe.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Little Mac asked.

"So uh, I wanted to uh…"

"Hey, it's ok. You can talk to me."

"It's just I was wondering if you uh… Well I saw Samus leave your room last night and… I was wondering if you guys did anything."

"Is that why you've been upset?"

"Maybe."

"Oh Gummy, I'll explain everything. Ok, so she somehow opened my door. She started spouting nonsense! She talked about how she made a mistake and how I should get back with her. Obviously I told her no, but she wouldn't get out of my room!"

"W-what!"

"I know! She's crazy. I thought she was with Sonic."

"Me too."

"She started calling you awful stuff too! She even took pictures of you and Simon hanging out!"

"She followed me?!"

"She did! She tried to make you seem like you were cheating on me. Too bad I already knew you were hanging out with Simon and I know you would never do that to me, so when I denied Samus's claims, she started going off on me."

"She tried to make me look bad."

"I know! She even put her arm out when I shut my door shut. I ended up bandaging her wounds. Then I told her to get out. That's when you saw her come out of my room. Did you see her bandages?"

"I didn't pay attention."

"Well next time you see her, you'll see it. She's probably going to spout more lies about me and how I attacked her."

"Why would she do that?"

"She hates me. Well I guess now she likes me again, but I ain't fallin' for her tricks."

"So you guys didn't, you know…"

"Eww no way."

Kirby felt a lot better. What did she need to worry about? Little Mac loved her. Now she knows that Samus is after her boyfriend and she wants to break them apart. That explains why Samus was acting like her and Little Mac did stuff that night. It makes perfect sense. She hugged her boyfriend and planted a kiss on his cheek.

"I'm sorry for doubting you," She said.

"Oh it's ok. I understand. Sometimes I think about this stuff too."

"You do?"

"I'm not gonna lie, I start to feel insecure when you're around other guys, but then I remember that you're mine and mine only."

"Haha! I am!"

"See, no need to be upset. Now did you want to go back to the party?"

"No, let's just watch the stars and the city lights together."

"Good call. This is more private anyway."

He grabbed her chin and made her face him. They stared into each other's eyes passionately. He gently played with her hair as the two were making out. He stopped for a bit to get some air. He then picked her up and placed her on his lap. The two continued to make out and giggled at each other. He reached her for leg and rubbed her thick thighs with his hand. She jumped a little, but she let him. She felt embarrassed but she liked it. He moved his hand up under her sweater touching her bare stomach with his hand.

Little Mac breathed onto her neck. It reeked of alcohol. It sent shivers down her spine. She didn't like the smell, but him being so close started to make her feel weird. She couldn't explain it though. It was a good weird, but she couldn't stop shaking. She felt… small. She looked at Little Mac who seemed confident and strong at this moment. He didn't look the same. She noticed that his eyes looked hungry. He looked desperate for something.

Little Mac moved his hand up from her stomach to her ribs. The sudden movement made her jump. He moved a little bit further up and grabbed her tits. She gulped and closed her eyes. She had all his attention and she couldn't help but start to feel pretty for once. He squeezed on her tits and began biting her neck. She started to moan. Her body is acting up on her own. This is something she's never been able to experience before. Having this body react like this, is… weird. Should she stop this? She wanted it to stop, but she also didn't.

Little Mac suddenly stopped. His face was red, yet he gave her a cheeky smile. He gently allowed her to stand up and he pulled his hand out to her. Wait, what? What happened? Is he done? Are they done with whatever was happening?

He went up to her ear and whispered "You make such cute sounds by the way."

She shuddered. She felt embarrassed.

"Anyway, we should head back to the party."

"S-sure."

Why is she stuttering? Everything is so intense right now. Why did he just stop?

The two made their way back to the party. Everyone didn't seem to care that they left. All their attention was still stuck on Link. He seemed to be overwhelmed. Kirby wished she could talk to him and at least congratulate him, but Zelda watched her like a hawk. It's not a good idea to approach him while Zelda is around. It'll definitely be awkward. Oh well, she can always congratulate him later.

The party was finally over. It was 2am in the morning. There was so much dancing and singing. She loved watching Little Mac hit the dance floor. She noticed that when Little Mac was dancing the others gave him a dirty look. She didn't understand why people were giving him these looks. Everyone treated him like he was a bad guy, but he didn't seem to mind. He ignored it and kept his attention on her.

It doesn't matter, the party is finally over. Little Mac walked her back to her room. He wanted to stay the night, but his face went bright red and he told her it was best if he slept in his own room. He said that he was a bit drunk and that he might not be able to control himself. She understood and watched him walk away.

She happily jumped on her bed and hugged her star pillow. Her heart was beating so fast. That whole experience was exciting! She wanted to do it again, but she felt nervous. She knew what would happen if they kept going. This made her squeal on her pillow.

She couldn't sleep. Too happy. Too jumpy. She left her room. She decided to take a night time stroll to cool off. The sky was still dark despite it technically being morning. She found herself sitting on the edge of a bridge that led to the smash mall. She dangled her legs and watched the sky. She couldn't stop smiling, until she heard footsteps. Did someone follow her? She turned around to face the direction of the sound. It was Link!

"Kirby," He spoke.

"Link, what're you doing here?"

"I can ask you the same."

"I couldn't sleep."

"Neither could I."

He sat next to her. He let his legs dangle and watched the sky as well.

"Link, I wanted to congratulate you. You deserve this win. You truly are an amazing fighter."

"Thanks, that means a lot coming from you."

"I'm glad."

"Kirby, I uh I wanted to apologize for how I acted last time."

"It's ok, I understand. Right now, you're going through a lot."

"I am. I'm still dealing with Zelda. I… I really don't want to be with her."

"I know."

"Kirby, can I ask you a question?"

"Of course."

"Before the whole Zelda situation, were you going to kiss me that day?"

"I uh… I don't know."

"Have you ever thought about me more than a friend?"

"Y-yeah, I think so."

"So then, why Little Mac?"

"Little Mac and I… We have a lot in common. We get along so well and… every time that I'm with him is an adventure. There's always something to talk about. I feel safe when I'm with him."

"I see."

"I'm sorry if this upsets you."

"Do you think, if it weren't for Zelda, we could work?"

"I uh, I honestly don't know. I don't know much about romantic stuff."

"But you thought about me before."

"You are amazing and I cherish you as my friend. Sure, I thought about you in a weird way, but… I don't know. I just…"

"Kirby I really think we're meant to be."

"Why me?"

"We're both the same. We both have struggles when it comes to people. We get each other!"

"Link…"

"You felt it too, I know you did. That day when we were about to kiss… There was something there."

"I guess…"

"We can still make us work."

"I just-

"Don't be with Little Mac. He's just using you."

"He's been so sweet to me, I don't think he is."

"That's his charm. He's manipulating you."

"Link I really don't think-

"Tell me, has he touched you in a weird way?"

A flashback of her and Little Mac on the rooftop played on her head. It was fun, but he did it suddenly. He never did anything like that before and usually when he thought about doing something different, he usually asks her for permission first. It was a bit out of character. It's ok though because she liked it, so no harm done.

"Well yeah, but-

"I noticed you two left the party. Did he touch you?"

"Um, well-

"Where did he touch you?"

"Uh…" She pointed at her legs and her chest. "Here and here."

"He took advantage of you, Kirby. Can't you see? He wants you for your body."

"N-no, he was being-

"Aggressive. He wasn't thinking about your feelings at all. He gave in to his desires."

"I liked it though."

"Did you or did me make you feel like you needed to?"

What is he talking about? She liked it. Sure something felt a little off. It was his breath. His breath usually didn't smell like liquor. She didn't even know what liquor was. She just read it from the label of the bottle he was drinking, but It was still him. He was still there and aware. He didn't force her to feel anything. That was all her.

"I liked it."

"He's making you think that. He's pretending to act nice until he gets what he wants, which is your body. Once he gets it, he'll be done with you."

"No, he's not like that."

"He is. Ask anyone."

"Everyone is saying that? Is that why he was getting dirty looks at the party?"

"Yeah. He's not a good guy. He's a sex crazed beast especially when he gets drunk, which I totally saw him drinking at the party. He's finally showing his true colors."

"Is that why he was being a bit more aggressive?"

"Yeah, see he only wants to fuck and then he'll keep doing that until he gets bored of you."

"We've never done that before. If he was really a sex crazed beast as you say, he would've left me already."

"Kirby! You can't be this naive!"

"H-huh?"

Link started to get angry again. His voice became louder and his pupils went small again. She started to feel scared. Why is he acting like this again? Was it something she said? She didn't want to upset her friend. It looks like that's all she does now when Link is around. She can longer make him laugh like before. She must be doing something wrong.

"L-Link, are you ok? I'm sorry if I said anything to upset you," Kirby frowned.

"You're not getting it! CAN'T YOU SEE?! HE'S A BAD PERSON. I WOULD NEVER TREAT YOU LIKE THAT!"

"I-I know but-

"NO! YOU DON'T KNOW! WHY ARE YOU WITH HIM AND NOT ME?! I WOULD NEVER FORCE YOU! I WOULD WAIT FOREVER AND STILL BE WITH YOU!"

"That's sweet of you, but he's never pressured me into it and he's still with me."

"Do you even know what sex means?"

"I do now! I didn't before when you got angry at me. I mean I had an idea, but after you left I got curious and looked into it more."

"So then, did you guys do it when you left the party?"

"No!"

"He did touch you though. He was going to!"

"But he didn't."

"Kirby you can't be this dumb! The only reason why he didn't pressure you into it is because he was in a public space."

"But he's never pressured me when we're at my place. Link I think you got the wrong idea. I appreciate you worrying about me. This is why I view you as my best friend. You always have my back no matter what. So thank you."

"BEST FRIEND, HUH?!"

"Y-yeah. This is why I'm scared that I upset you. I'm sorry, please forgive me."

"FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! BEST FRIEND THIS AND BEST FRIEND THAT! FUCK!"

"Link, please I'm sorry I still want us to be friends. I really do."

"FUCK IT! Kirby, you want to know why he hasn't left you yet?"

"Link…"

"It's because he's fucking you while you're sleeping."

"What?"

"Yeah! Men do that shit! He's taking advantage of you while you're sleeping."

"N-no, he wouldn't do that."

"HAHAHAHA! HE'S GETTING IT EITHER WAY!"

"T-that's not funny."

"HE'S FUCKING YOU WHILE YOU'RE ASLEEP YOU STUPID BITCH! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! IF IT WASN'T FOR ME, YOU WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT FEELINGS ARE!"

"!"

Link covered his mouth. He went too far. She gave him the most miserable look she could muster. Tears started to fall from her eyes. Her pupils went small and she just stared at him in disbelief. He reached his arm out to her and tried to caress her face, but she flinched and stood up. She looked terrified. She was shaking and holding herself. He really fucked up. He… he really fucked up.

"Kirby I… I didn't mean it," He apologized.

She didn't say anything. She continued to stare at him like she was staring at a monster.

"I… Kirby, please," He stood up and walked up to her, but she kept her distance from him.

Link tried to reach for her again, but he stopped himself. He bit his lip and turned away.

"I'm sorry, it slipped out. I'm only trying to protect you. I wish you could see what Little Mac is doing. He's a womanizer and he spouts lies. I'm on your side, Kirby. Please remember that. Anyway, I… I need to go."

Kirby watched as Link ran away. She hugged herself and dropped to her knees and continued to cry. She couldn't stop herself from shaking. How could he say that to her?
