-Mario's Plan-

The bunker wasn't as dark as Lucas thought it would be. There were still dim lights lighting the area. Ness watched as Lucas finally entered the bunker and shyly stood there. He led him to the other corner of the place. There was a tv and a recliner chair there. So, this is where he has been hiding. Lucas was going to question Ness about the place, but he grabbed his face and began making out with him again.

Ness pushed Lucas on the chair and got on top of him. He gave him a cocky smirk, which caused Lucas to shyly look away. He's… he's so hot! He can't look at him like this. It's.. too much. However, Ness gently grabbed Lucas by the chin and made him look at him.

"Hey, don't be shy. I promise we won't do anything crazy," Ness smirked.

See he says that, but Lucas could tell that he wanted more.

"I'm sorry, I'm just shy. I… Well we just started dating. Aren't we moving too fast?"

"Nah, I think we're going too slow honestly."

"W-what!"

"Haha! It's all good, we won't do that. I'll be patient, but your neck do be lookin' lonely," He bit his lips.

Ness began biting on Lucas's neck. He felt confident when Lucas started moaning. Yeah, this is perfect, just keep being distracted. He playfully choked Lucas's throat and slipped in tongue inside his mouth. Lucas is so into it. Now is the perfect time to strap him up. He placed Lucas's arms on the armrest at the chair. The blonde was too distracted to realize what Ness was doing. He just let him place his limbs anywhere. Perfect, what a submissive dog. He pushed a button on the side of the chair. It triggered latches that strapped Lucas in.

Ness started laughing and he got off of Lucas. He took out his phone and called someone. Who is he calling? Lucas tried to get out of the chair, but his wrists her strapped in. He tried using his PK powers, but for some reason it didn't work. Something is wrong. What is Ness doing?! Did Ness set him up?!

"Hey, wassup Mario, I got em," Ness said.

Lucas couldn't believe what he just heard. Mario? Isn't he the guy that was after Ness? Isn't he the guy that is trying to get rid of Kirby? Why is Ness working for him? What's going on?

"Ness, hey um, what's going on?" Lucas asked.

"Hm? Oh, so you haven't figured it out? Hahaha! That's hilarious."

"Ness, what're you doing?!"

"Oh you know, doing my job."

"Your job?"

"Sure."

"With Mario? You told me that you were hiding from him!"

"Yeah, it's called a lie dumbass."

"N-Ness, I can't believe you!"

"Calm down, it's not that big of a deal."

"You… You betrayed me… I thought.. Was all this a lie?"

"Not all. I do think you're hot as fuck."

"Why are you talking like that?"

"It's how I always talked, bro."

"What happened to you? I don't even know you anymore."

"Pssh, oh well."

"H-how could you do this to me? I-I thought we were-

"What boyfriends? Haha! Dude, I'd only fuck and I'm out."

Lucas began crying. He fell for his charms. Ness is evil! Has he been hiding this side of him all this time? He recalled good memories of them hanging out. They used to be inseparable. Why now? Ness played the long game and for what! To lead him into a bunker and do what?! Everything he knew about his best friend is a lie. He knew he shouldn't have made any friends when he got into smash. He knew he should've kept to himself.

The two heard footsteps. It was Mario. He began clapping his hands and he put an arm around Ness. The two smiled at each other and then stared at Lucas.

Mario: "Hello, Lucas."

Lucas: "Ness you fucking asshole!"

Ness: "Just following orders." *shrugs*

Mario: "A feisty one, aren't you?"

Lucas: "What do you want from me?!"

Mario: "Well you do know about my secret. Well, kinda. Ya see, you know that I'm trying to get-a rid of Kirby. I simply cannot let you keep wandering about."

Lucas: "So, what, you're going to keep me here forever? The others will find out that I'm missing."

Mario: "Oh don't-a worry, I don't plan on keeping you here. In fact, I was going to go with my original plan, but well I don't have enough resources for my machine."

Lucas: "Machine?"

Mario: "Yeah all the parasites on the dark web are sold out sadly."

Lucas: "P-parasites?!"

Mario: "So I have a new plan. Educational brainwashing! Got a nice ring to it, eh?"

Lucas: "You're going to brainwash me into what?"

Mario: "Into forgetting of course."

Lucas: "Forgetting what?"

Mario: "The party."

Lucas: "You're doing all this to make me forget about a stupid party?"

Mario: "Not only that. You'll also worship me."

Lucas: "Fuck you!"

Mario: "Ness play the video."

Ness grabbed the remote that was on top of the small tv. A video started to play. It was a video about Mario talking on the screen, chanting words about how nice he is. The two left the area and let that play for hours.

Mario came back and began quizzing him. He started gaslighting Lucas about the party, that nothing happened and it was a simple nice party for Villager. Every time Lucas refused to repeat it in his head, he would whip him causing welts all over his body. He then would pour salt on his fresh wounds. It was tortuous for Lucas. This became the everyday norm. Mario would leave and Lucas would be forced to watch the video. Then the plumber would come back and quiz him. This became the never ending nightmare of Lucas's new found life.

-The Clones-

Mario was suspicious of the new Sonic clone. He started hearing from the other smashers that the blue blur has been acting differently. He's been hanging out in the library reading books. Mario had a talk with Sonic and said if he doesn't start acting all cool and snarky, he'll replace him. This scared the blue blur. He didn't want to die, but he also didn't want to pretend.

He heard his phone beep. He checked to see that Samus messaged him. She wants to have a talk with him. This can't be good. He ran to her door and knocked. She answered and let him in.

Samus sat him on her bed. It's finally time for her to officially break up with him. She couldn't stand him anymore. All he wanted to do was read books and write shit. It wasn't like him at all. She wanted Little Mac back. This Sonic is smart and boring. She wanted someone fun and someone who was a bit dumb. This way she could always feel superior.

"Sonic, I need to talk to you," She frowned.

"Of course. I'm listening."

"I… I can't do this anymore."

"Are you breaking up with me?"

"Yes. I'm sorry."

Deep inside, Sonic wanted to jump up and cheer. He no longer had to be around her anymore. There's nothing wrong with her, she is simply too demanding. She always wanted to have sex, and he didn't like it. This sounds great, but Mario told him to be with her. If she breaks up with him, that means he messed up and Mario will replace him! Oh no... This is not good. Not good at all.

"Samus, I don't understand," Sonic frowned.

"I'm sorry, it's not working out."

"D-did I do something wrong?"

"You've been acting strange. I'm a woman with needs and you don't seem interested in me anymore."

"I am! I've just been feeling down."

"I get that, it's just…"

"Samus, I'm so sorry. I can change!"

"No, I… I found someone else."

"Someone else? W-who?"

"I… I'm sorry. I don't want to tell you yet."

"I promise I'll give you more attention. I love you! Trust me when I say that!"

"The feeling isn't mutual anymore."

"Samus…"

"I'm sorry, Sonic. I'm done."

-The Clones-

Clone Ness sat on the floor while Mario was working on his machine. He was bored and wished that he could go to the smash mansion. He's never stepped inside yet. Sonic was able to run around there free, but Ness had to be stuck here in the bunker. If he wasn't in the bunker he was usually hiding somewhere in the garden keeping a look out for anyone who was following Mario.

"Hey uh, Boss," Ness said.

"What?"

"So when can I replace Ness?"

"You will just be patient."

"Ok, but it's been months. You said that last month."

"Quit complaining and do as you're told."

Ness cursed under his breath. He wanted to go against his creator, but he was scared. This Mario guy is intimidating. He's also more experienced when it comes to fights. If Ness tried to fight him he would lose for sure. He needs to suck it up and continue to listen to him. The fortunate part is, Lucas has been submitting. Mario's plan is to send them both out together. Speaking of out, it wouldn't hurt to patrol the area, right? Mario is so into his computer at the moment. Now is the perfect time to leave.

Ness snuck out of the bunker and began walking around the garden. He knew that he shouldn't be out and about, but he didn't feel like bush hopping this time. He simply walked around. He ended up close to one of the entrances to the mansion. He put his back to the wall of the mansion next to the door and slid down. He sat there debating if he should take a sneak peak.

The door swung open. It caused Ness to scream. He covered his mouth and turned to look who it was. It was a girl with a hat and a backpack. She wore a tank top and a simple skirt. She was cute! She turned to face him and gave him a shocked expression. She put her hand over her mouth and with her other hand she pointed at him.

"N-Ness?!" She widened her eyes.

"Ssshhh, y-yeah it's me."

"W-where have you been?!"

"Uh, here I'll tell you everything, but first let's find a more private area."

Ness led the girl to a darker area in the garden. The trees were covering them from anyone's sight. He sat on the floor and she did as well.

"So… Where have you been? Everyone has been looking for you."

"Really?"

"Yeah! Also where's Lucas?"

"Oh man, so much happened. You see, there's this pink-haired girl in that mansion. She uh, well I saw her with Kirby. I followed her because well I've never seen her before. I found her suspicious. Indeed she was because she threw Kirby into a dungeon that's located in the mountain area. I tried to confront her, but she's crazy strong. She got me too. I finally managed to escape."

"W-what!"

"She got Lucas. He rescued me, but he couldn't make it."

"W-we gotta tell everyone!"

"No! Uh, not yet. If you tell the others the imposter might catch on. She's going to plan ahead."

"Then what should we do?"

"Well, I know where Lucas is. I'm going to save him."

"Alone?"

"Yeah. I'll get him back and once I do, then I'll tell the other smashers my side of the story, but of course not all at once. The imposter will catch on."

"I can come with you!"

"No, I… I need to do this alone. The smashers will become unstable if you go missing too."

"But-

"Don't worry, I got this!" *Winks*

"What if she captures you again?"

"Well luckily since I've been hiding, I found a place to charge my phone. Here, we can trade numbers. Also I'm sorry, I forgot your name."

"It's Leaf. Well people call me Pokemon Trainer, but my real name is Leaf."

"Leaf, I like it. It's beautiful!"

Leaf blushed. She couldn't help but find Ness cute. He seemed badass with this crazy mission he's been going through. He looked confident and his smile was alluring. His whole demeanor has changed. Sure, he was always a good looking guy, but before he was so awkward to talk to. He only seemed interested in Lucas anyway. However, right now he stared at her a certain way. Was he into her? She couldn't help but feel a bit flustered.

"So uh, if anything is about to happen to me, I'll let you know," Ness reassured.

"What if you don't have enough time?"

"I'll have enough time to text you. In fact, I'll keep in touch. I'll text you often, I promise."

"You will? We barely know each other."

"Well uh, honestly I was thinkin' that we could get to know each other. I don't know why, but you give such a great vibe."

"Wow Ness, I never thought you would want to talk to me."

"I've always liked you! I just… Well I'm awkward. Also being in that dungeon got me thinking a lot about myself. I need to be more confident. I'm working on it."

"I really like this new confidence you found."

"Thanks, I uh, I've always wanted to tell you that I uh.. I like you."

"You do?!"

"Yeah, but I don't want to rush you. Right now, being friends with you is a gift."

"Oh Ness… I don't know what to say."

"It's ok. Well uh, I should probably get going. I'm going to find out more about that place. I'll be sure to text you. Oh and don't worry, I'll be around. The garden is my safe place at the moment. Please don't tell the other smashers yet, it might mess things up. I'm going to figure out a plan and I'll be sure to tell everyone later."

"Ok."

Ness started to walk away, but Leaf grabbed his arm. He turned around and blushed. Her face was flustered. She looked so cute.

"Wait, Ness I uh…" She trailed off.

"Huh?"

"I uh, I like you too."

"Haha, now I don't know what to say."

"Well uh, I don't mind us taking it slow."

"Didn't think a pretty girl like you would fall for me."

"I always thought you were cute, but I didn't think you were into girls."

"Huh? Why?"

"Because of Lucas."

"Oh, we're just best friends."

Leaf looked away. He's so direct! She didn't know why, but she loved it. He kept giving her these looks. She started to feel embarrassed. She wanted to leave and hide. Talking to him directly like this is weird. It's Ness! The awkward nerdy teen who spends most of his time at the library studying whatever.

"T-thank you. Haha, well I better go. You need to do your important mission," She shyly looked back in his direction.

"It was nice talking to you, Leaf."

"Y-yeah it was nice."

With that Leaf went back to the mansion. Ness waved her off and when she was gone, he simply chuckled to himself. She was way too easy. Talk about desperate. He already got himself a girlfriend. He wondered how many others he could toy with once he could finally replace Ness and take his spot.

-Villager-

Kirby locked herself in her room. Little Mac wanted to hang out with her, but she politely told him that she wanted to be alone. He was upset of course, but he respected her demand and went somewhere else. She felt bad. She knew that Link was saying all those horrible things to separate the two. She trusted Little Mac. But for the moment, she wanted time for herself. Yeah, it's her time. She went to the bathroom and took a bath. After her little spa day, she watched some tv. She watched for a bit until her stomach growled. She should get something to eat. In fact, after she gets food she'll text Little Mac to come back. The negative emotions have washed away, so she won't bum him out.

She was about to leave, but she realized she was still wearing her pajamas. She went through her clothes and saw that she still has Villager's clothes. She put his clothes in a bag and put on her casual outfit. She looked around to see if anyone was around her. The other smashers have been giving her dirty looks. She didn't want to be bothered and they might start asking questions about Kirby again. Even though she is Kirby... It was frustrating, so avoiding them was a must.

She arrived at Villager's door. She was about to knock, but then she hesitated. What if he's sleeping? It's 1am in the morning. Knocking this late is rude. She decided to leave the bag in front of his door. She was about to walk away, but Villager opened the door.

"Villager! How did you know I was here?" She asked.

"I heard your footsteps."

"O-oh, well I wanted to return these clothes back. Sorry, I took it without permission."

"I understand."

"Are you ok? You don't look so good."

"Honestly no, I've been sick since forever. I've been sending everyone away because I don't want to get them sick."

"I'm sorry to hear that. Well, I'll leave you alone then. I hope you feel-

"Wait, no don't go."

"B-but you're sick."

"I'm feeling a bit better. I uh, I really don't want to be alone."

"Do you want me to keep you company?"

"Y-yeah if you don't mind."

"I don't!"

Villager let Kirby in. She stepped inside and looked around the place. It… It looked fine, but something was off. There was stuff everywhere on the floor. He hasn't been taking care of this place.

"I know, it's messy, I apologize," Villager averted his eyes.

"Oh, it's ok. I can help you clean up."

"No you don't have to do that."

"I would love to help."

Kirby started cleaning the place up. She grabbed a bunch of trash bags and started throwing things away. Then she wiped down the bathroom and the kitchen. She took a break and Villager gladly made her sandwiches. The two ate together and talked about what's been going on. Villager was upset to hear that Mario is against her now and that the others don't seem to trust her. He said encouraging stuff. She appreciated him for saying kind words. Helping Villager made her feel all good inside. It distracted her from the Link drama.

Villager and Kirby were almost done. The only thing to clean next was his room. He was one of the lucky ones to have another room in his place because he helped build the mansion. He and Isabelle deserved these nice rooms for sure. There were more rooms like this, but they weren't free. Although it was cheaper than renting the smash apartments. She wondered if Villager helped build the smash village apartments as well. He probably did.

Villager opened the door. He let her in first. She happily walked to the center of his room and scanned the area. Wow, there's a lot of pictures on the floor. In fact, there's so much that she didn't know where to step without stepping on one.

Standing here and staring isn't going to do anything. She picked one up and was about to throw it away, but she was curious. She turned it to the other side to see… Her heart stopped. Her eyes widened in fear.

SLAM!

Kirby turned around to see Villager standing in front of the now closed door. He smiled at her. It was the creepiest smile she has ever witnessed in her life. She shuddered. She felt goosebumps all over her arms. Something is not right.

"Villager, um, I'm sorry, but I'm suddenly very tired, I should probably get back to my room," She said.

"Why so soon? We still need to clean this room."

"I know, but it is late. Oh, how about I come over tomorrow and we can finish it all up?"

"Oh, but we're so close."

"Y-yeah but-

Kirby bit her tongue, as Villager pulled out a trophy stand. She recognized it from Brawl. That item is dangerous. Where did he even get one of those? Aren't they banned? She hasn't seen one in years. Heck almost a decade now. She stood there in fear not knowing what to do. Ok, he's going to try to turn her into a trophy, but the throw time is slow. She can easily dodge it. She took a breath and braced herself. She can do this! She can easily get out of this.

"I know what you're thinking," Villager smiled.

She kept quiet. She needs to focus. He could throw it at any moment.

"You're thinking you can dodge it but…" Villager took out the timer item.

The determination on her face faded as she saw him take out the clock. He laughed as he witnessed the hope on her face slowly changed into a look of despair.

"Thank you for coming over to visit me, Kirby. I'm happy you read my poem and decided to become my wife."
