-Mario's Plan-

Mario woke up and felt better. His legs were no longer fucked. The nurse said he is free to go. He happily walked out of there and went to visit his soon to be wife. They were in her room talking about the wedding.

"Oh Mario, I picked out a beautiful wedding dress," She said.

"Can I see it?"

"No, I want it to be a surprise."

"Aww, but I want to see."

"It'll be better in the wedding."

"You're such a tease."

"I know~"

They had a good time talking with each other. However, Mario had to go because he wanted to talk to check up on his project. He went to the bunker and checked if the project was still good to go. Ah yes, project Hands Off. A gun that Mickey designed to kill The Hands with. Gosh, Mickey is such an awesome guy. He didn't have to help him, but he did. Honestly, Mario didn't think that Mickey Mouse would respond to his message. He wondered why the mouse was eager to help, but then again, he is Mario. Mr. Nintendo himself.

Mario went to the capsule area. He approached the machine that put the parasites inside his victims. Too bad this machine failed. However, the room behind it sure didn't. He imputed a code, and the machine moved to the side. A hidden door was behind it. He opened it up and walked inside.

-The Clones-

Clone Ness woke up next to Lucas. His boyfriend is still asleep like always. He pecked his forehead and checked his phone. Oh, it looks like a couple people messaged him.

[- Isabelle

Isabelle: heyy sorry if I went too far last night

Ness: Its ok

He clicked on Leaf's notification.

[- Leaf

Leaf: I need to talk to u

Ness: this sounds serious

Leaf: It is

Ness: wat time?

Leaf: meet me at my place right now

Ness: Ok

He had a bad feeling about this. He texted Lucas that Leaf wanted to talk to him about something and that he'll be right back. He got dressed and left to go to her place. He knocked on the door and she opened. The look on her face said it all. This… This is not going to end well.

He sat down on her bed. She sat next to him. She let out a big sigh and tapped her feet.

"I… I need a moment. Hold on," She said, fighting back her tears.

"Take your time."

A moment of silence passed. She took out her phone and handed it to him. It was a video of him flirting with Tina. There was also another video that he didn't know about. It was him fucking Nana. She… She recorded it without him knowing…

"I… I'm sorry," he made no eye contact, as he gave her the phone back.

"I can't believe you."

"..."

"How could you cheat on me? With Nana of all people."

"..."

"Who else are you fucking?!"

"No one."

"So it was just Nana, or did you fuck that inkling girl too?"

"I…"

"Why did you do it?"

"I don't know."

"Was I not good enough?"

"You are."

"Then, why?" Tears were pouring out of her eyes.

Seeing Leaf cry broke his heart. He shouldn't have cheated. Well, with Nana, at that moment, he thought he had no choice. Then again, it was his fault in the first place. He was the one that flirted with Tina. She didn't make him do that. And he should've known that Nana would save the video somewhere else. Now his horrible actions are coming back to get him. He's about to lose someone he deeply cares about, but honestly, he doesn't deserve her. She deserves to be with a better guy. Not a cheating liar like himself.

"Leaf, I… I do care about you," he said.

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT BULLSHIT!"

"I do. I just… I have problems."

"I don't want to hear your fucking sob story. You should've ended things instead of betraying me."

"I don't want to break up."

"Clearly you do. YOU FUCKING CHEATED ON ME!"

"I made a mistake."

"Actively cheating on someone is not a mistake. You did it intentionally. The only mistake you made was getting caught."

"I do love you."

"Stop."

"I do!"

"Stop."

"But I'm a selfish prick."

"You can say that again."

"I just… I, ok listen. When we first met, I really only liked your body."

"Wow."

"I saw you as a tool rather than a person. I'm sorry. I don't think like that anymore. I got to know you. I genuinely like being around you. But then I don't know I felt like I didn't have enough time and I wanted to explore."

"Not enough time for what?"

"It's complicated."

"What, like aging? You're too afraid that you're missing out on the college life?"

"In a way, yeah."

"So you've been cheating on me for a while then."

"Yeah."

She slapped him across the face. He wasn't phased at all. He knew it was coming and he deserved it. There was a moment of silence. Then out of nowhere his mouth started running.

"Look, I was afraid for my life! I didn't want to be replaced and that made me act irrationally. I thought… If my life could end at any moment, then why not live it to the fullest," he cried.

"What are you talking about?"

"I…" (Dammit, I wasn't supposed to say that.)

"Afraid for your life? Do you think I'm that stupid to fall for your fake 'I'm the victim story?'"

"It was how I coped."

"Cheating is how you coped, huh?"

"I'm telling you my honest feelings. It doesn't excuse how I acted, but it does explain."

"WHAT, BECAUSE YOU'RE AFRAID TO DIE? WE ALL ARE! THERE'S AN IMPOSTER ON THE LOOSE! And it killed innocent Pokemon."

"No it's not the imposter I'm worried about."

"THEN WHAT ARE YOU SO AFRAID OF?!"

"It's Mar…"

"It's who? Mario?"

"N-no. It's… It's complicated."

"What's complicated? What are you not telling me?"

"I… Can't."

"You really don't trust me…"

"..."

"We're over. I'm done. Get out."

Ness stood up. He sadly nodded his head at her and left. He went to MoonSpoon Cafe where Isabelle worked. He hoped she didn't work, but he saw her working on a drink. It's fine, he'll go to another one. He didn't want her to see him crying and ask what's wrong. He turned around to open the door, but…

"Ness! Hey," She waved at him.

He let out a sigh and wiped his tears. "Hey, how are you?"

"This morning was busy, but it died down."

"Oh."

"Want to order something?"

"The usual."

"Sorry, I don't know your usual. I just started working here."

"Two omelets and a coffee."

"You got it~"

He watched her make his order. When she was done, she handed it to him.

"Hey, are you ok? You feel down," She asked.

"I'm ok."

"I know that look. Something's got you upset."

"Oh, it's just one of those days."

"Ness…"

"I'm ok. Anyway, I'll see you later," he said, walking out the door.

He entered the mansion and went to his boyfriend's place. Before he knocked on Lucas's door, he cried. He sat there on the floor crying all the toxins away. When he was done, he knocked and Lucas answered.

"Hey! How'd it go with Leaf?" He asked.

"Um, yeah it was ok."

"Oooh you brought my favorite."

"Yeah."

"Are you ok? Your eyes are red."

"Yeah, I'm ok."

Lucas sat him down.

"You're not ok. What happened?" He asked.

"Nothing."

"Ok, I won't push it. For now. But later I'm going to ask you again and you better tell me."

"It's not a big deal."

"Yes, it is. You were crying."

"Fine. Leaf and I got into an argument and we're not friends anymore."

"What!"

"..." The tears started building up again.

"Come here," Lucas pulled him into a hug.

Clearly he doesn't want to talk about it right now, so Lucas decided to give him time to heal. Instead, he wanted to distract him from it. He put on a show that they both never watched. He wrapped a blanket around them and they started cuddling while eating breakfast.

-Back And Ready To Attack-

"Oww… You're hurting me," Ness whined.

"Shut up," Luigi dug his nails onto Ness's shoulders.

"OW! It hurts… S-stop…"

"Shut up, we both know you're into it."

"Get off of me!"

Luigi was on top of him. His eyes were pitch black. He looked like a demon. Everything around him was on fire. Ness tried to fight back but he couldn't move. He hopelessly watched Luigi open his giant mouth and saw his razor sharp teeth. He bit down on his right hand and tore it off. Blood was gushing out everywhere. The pain was excruciating. He wanted to scream but his voice was gone. The only ting he could hear besides the screams inside his head was Luigi, Sonic, Gordon, and Kawasaki laughing at him.

"Now, it's time for you to die, my love," Luigi took out a knife.

Ness woke up screaming. He looked around and realized that he was still in the motel.

"Bui!" Lucky jumped.

"Sorry, I had a nightmare."

"Bui?"

"I'm ok. Go back to sleep."

"Eebui."

His heart was racing, and he was sweating bullets. Thank god, that was a nightmare. He wiped the sweat off his forehead. He feels gross. He got up and took a shower. When he was done he checked the clock and saw that it was 5am in the morning. It's so early. He's not used to being awake around this time. He looked outside and saw that it was dawn. It's beautiful.

"Eebui," Lucky nudged up on him.

"Isn't it pretty?"

"Bui!"

That nightmare… He never has nightmares. That night when Luigi sexually assaulted him was traumatizing. He tried ignoring it, but it was always in the back of his mind. At least lately. He hoped that he'll be able to get over the trauma.

Today he's heading to the mansion. What if he bumps into Luigi? He started to panic. How would he deal with that? Luigi is strong. He didn't feel confident that he would be able to be in the right headspace to fight him off.

"Eebui," Lucky licked his cheek.

"You're right, Lucky. I shouldn't be thinking about that. We need to find that key to save our friends in the cave," Ness smiled.

He gave the keys back to the receptionist and walked to the entrance of the mansion. Ness took a deep breath. He's about to enter the mansion. His hands were sweating as he reached for the handle. His heart was racing. He hasn't been here in 8 months. Ok, here goes. He opened the door and saw some smashers walking by. They didn't greet him. They acted like they saw him all the time.

He didn't want Lucky to go around blowing his cover, so he returned the Pokemon back inside the ball. Alright, he should find Paluntena first and tell her to change Kirby back during the wedding, then he'll break into Mario's room and look for the key.

Where would Paluntena be? Perhaps, in her room? Hopefully she didn't change Kirby back. Then again, maybe she couldn't find her. He saw in the newspaper that everyone is trying to look for her, so she's definitely hiding. Dammit, if only there was a way to contact both of them. This plan is going to be difficult to execute.
