-Back And Ready To Attack-

Ness took a moment to look around. He hasn't been here for 8 months. This feels surreal. He was crying tears of joy. He's here. He's free. He couldn't believe it. He never thought he would get out of that cave. He thought he was going to die and never see his friend again. Oh… His friends. He missed them so much.

"Hey, Ness you good?"

He turned around to see Ike.

"Ike…" Ness pulled the swordsman into a hug.

"Whoa, there."

"I missed you so much. I know it's been 8 months, but it feels like a decade. I'm so glad to see you."

"Uh… Wait, what?"

Ness squeezed harder.

"Whoa, hey, what's all this about?" He gently pushed Ness off of him.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I'm just happy to see you."

"Um, ok. It's nice to see you too."

"Hey, uh I remember you at Villager's party. Do you know where Kirby is?"

"Oh man. I don't. I tried to tell everyone that the pink haired chick is Kirby, but they don't believe me."

"Are they hunting for her?"

"Yeah. I've been looking for her to warn her, but I can't find her whereabouts."

"Where could she be?"

"I'm not sure. Last time anyone saw her was when she was running away from the other smashers."

"Running away?"

"Yeah. She ended up killing 4 Pokemon trying to escape the constant assault."

"What? She would never."

"I wanted to believe that too, but we saw her attacking Corrin and Cloud. Red saw her kill the Pokemon. She even took his Charizard's life."

"No, that doesn't make sense."

"The Pokemon chased after her and she killed them."

"No!"

"It's the truth."

"You're siding with them now?"

"No."

"Then how could you say that?"

"Because it happened. It was self-defense, so I forgive it, but the others aren't taking it lightly."

"She… No… What?"

"She did it out of self-defense."

"So it wasn't Mario?"

"No."

"Kirby…"

"I don't blame her."

"I don't either. I'm just shocked."

"She had no..."

"Ike?"

"Hey, what's up lil bro!"

"Oh no, it's Radiant Ike."

"Outta my way. I'm about to hit the gym. A twink like you wouldn't understand."

"Yeah, well, I was just on my way."

"Fucking stop talking to me, Chump. Unless you wanna challenge me to a fight."

"I'll pass, thank you."

With that Ness walked away from Radiant Ike's presence. How obnoxious. He's glad he was able to talk to regular Ike. So, the newspaper was right. Kirby did end up killing those smashers. This doesn't look good on her image at all. No wonder why no one listened to Ike. After she pulled that, why would anyone believe the fact that she's Kirby.

He won't be able to convince the smashers. This is bad. He really needs to find Kirby. Paluntena and Kirby are his only hope of proving her innocence. Well, ok, she's not completely innocent. She did murder, but she had to. The real villains are Mario and Mickey. The two most iconic characters in the world. Oh no… He's at a disadvantage. Fuck! What can he do? This is frustrating! He no longer felt confident about his plan.

Ok, calm down. What matters is freeing his cave mates. Then when they're all together, they'll kidnap the clones and beat them into telling the truth in Mario's wedding. Now about the Kirby issue… Oh man, this is overwhelming.

His stomach growled. He's hungry. He should grab something to eat. Hopefully he doesn't run into his clone. He's not ready to take him down yet. He needs to somehow isolate him with his cave mates and then jump him. Then they'll lock him up in the cave until the wedding day.

He put his hood over his face, so people would have a hard time recognizing his face. He looked around to make sure that the clone was around. It looks like he's not. Thank god. He walked over to one of the vendors and ordered a cheap hotdog. He sat down on a lone table and started eating.

As he was eating, he heard some smashers whispering about him. They kept saying how the guy with the black hoodie looks shady. The clone isn't here. No point in hiding his face. Besides, he's getting unwanted attention from acting suspicious. He took off his hood. The murmuring stopped. As he was eating, he started planning ideas on how to go about taking down Mario. If he can't find Paluntena or Kirby, he could still try to frame Mario for kidnapping him. Mario is good when it comes with words, but luckily with the help of his alibis the smashers will-

"Ness, oh my god, I'm so glad I found you."

He knew that voice. He was afraid to turn around. This can't be happening. God dammit, he shouldn't have put his hood down.

"Ness?"

He let out a long sigh and turned around to see his… Crush…

"H-hi, Tana," He immediately face palmed.

"It's Tina."

"I-I knew t-that. Hahaha… How you have been?"

"Uh… Are you ok?"

"Yes I am just collecting my thoughts."

"Well, I wanted to tell you about what happened."

"M-me? Talk… You?"

"Yeah."

"I'm honored. Uh… Talk away."

"Uh… You don't seem ok. Are you nervous about something?"

"Me? Nervous? No. I'm uh, very itchy."

"Here let's go to my room. I have an itch cream."

"Y-y-your room?!"

"Yeah, c'mon."

She grabbed his hand. His face went full tomato mode. His crush is actually touching his hand. They're holding hands. Holy shit, what is happening? What did the clone do?

She opened the door and pulled him inside. Oh my god, he's in her room. HE'S IN HIS CRUSH'S ROOM. Is it getting hot in here? It's so hot in this room. He felt his entire body sweat.

"Whoa, your hand is mega sweaty," She laughed.

"Um..."

"You can sit on my bed ya know. You don't have to stand there like a statue."

"So what did you want to talk to me about?"

"I'll tell you, but first let's get rid of your itchy problem."

He awkwardly sat on her bed. He put his hands on his lap and stared at the floor, not making eye contact. This isn't real. He's dreaming. Yeah, it's a dream. She would never talk to a loser like him. Especially after that day he tried to ask her out. So, clearly this isn't reality and it's dream Tina. He took a quick peep at her and saw her smile. It made his stomach turn. She's so hot... Oh god, he's becoming the stupid. He held his stomach and quickly looked away.

She went to her bathroom. She grabbed the itch cream and sat next to him.

"You look cute by the way," She said, lifting up his shirt.

She's lifting up his shirt! He panicked and pulled his shirt down.

"Oops, sorry is that not where the itch was?"

"The itch is gone. I destroyed it."

"Oh. Well damn. How'd you do that?"

"With my psychic powers."

"I didn't know you could do that."

"Yeah. I uh... I don't know why I didn't do it earlier."

"You're so funny. Anyway, I don't know if you heard the rumors, but I wanted to tell you in person anyway."

"Rumors?"

"So after we had sex-

Ness started choking on his spit.

"You ok?"

He nodded.

"Anyway. When I went back to my room that night, someone hit me in the back of my head really hard. I woke up in the dumpster."

"WHAT?!"

"I know right. People are saying it's the imposter, but I feel like the imposter would've killed me. This one felt personal."

"I'm sorry I..."

Ness stood up. He was freaking out. The clone and her… Oh god. She saw him naked. They did the… No… And it wasn't even him. He's never felt this angry and embarrassed in his life.

"I know, I'm a little scared," She said.

"You… and my clone… Oh my god…"

"Huh?"

"You and my clone had sex. I think I'm gonna throw up."

He hunched over and covered his mouth with his hand. She went over to him and patted his back.

"Are you feeling sick? Here, lie down," She said, grabbing his hand.

"I'm sorry, I can't right now. I have to go," he pulled himself away.

"Hey, I'm scared too. I was wondering if you had an idea on who my attacker was."

"I don't know. Also, I-I'm so sorry. I can't believe he did that to you."

"I can't either. I don't know what I did to piss someone off."

"N-no, my clone. I'm sorry. This is all because I was an idiot and got myself caught."

"What're you talking about? What clone?"

"I-I promise I'll tell you everything."

He left the room. He sunk to the floor and started hyperventilating. He couldn't believe it. He wanted to tell her everything, but it was already hard to talk to her to begin with. He didn't want to make a fool of himself in front of his crush. Again.

The one good thing about this, is that at least he knows he has a chance with her. But that's horrible to think about. The clone took advantage of her. Also who the fuck attacked her? What's going on in this mansion? Who in their right mind would throw someone in the dumpster and leave them there?

-The Clones-

Clone Sonic was crying in his room. He missed Samus. He kept texting her, but eventually she blocked him. This is it. They're done.

Ding!

He checked his phone to see who messaged him. It was Fox. He wanted to hang out, but Sonic was not in the right headspace. He declined the offer.

He left his room and went to the library. Books will help him forget. He grabbed a book and began reading. This is his ultimate escape. He got immersed in the sci-fi world. However, it turned out to be a romance sci-fi story. The romance part reminded him of Samus. He started crying again.

He needs some air. He left the library and went on a run. Yeah, Sonic shit. He kept running until he found himself wandering through downtown. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, there were couples everywhere. He can't get over her. He needs help. He ran back to the mansion and texted Fox back.

[- Fox

Sonic: actually can we hang out? I'm sorry I declined yur offer earlier. I wasn't feeling good

Fox: All good man. Come meet me at the bar

Sonic: Ok

Sonic ran to the bar. He saw Fox and Falco sitting on a table together drinking alcohol. He sat at their table and also ordered a drink.

Fox: "Glad you could make it."

Sonic: "Guys, how do you get over a break up?"

Falco: "Whoa, Sonic got dumped? Usually you're the one breaking up with the chicks."

Sonic: "Really?"

Falco: "Yeah, dude."

Fox: "Falco, stop being obnoxious. What happened, Sonic?"

Sonic: "It's that video. Someone edited it to make me look like I kissed Daisy back."

Falco: "Damn, I thought you were going back to your player days."

Sonic: "No, I pulled her away."

Fox: "I believe you."

Sonic: "At least somebody does."

Fox: "There is no quick way to get over a break up. I used to date Isabelle, and when she broke things off, it took me a while to stop thinking about her."

Sonic: "Really?"

Fox: "Yeah. It was rough."

Sonic: "Why did you two break up?"

Fox: "I got angry because she wanted to start an onlyfans."

Sonic: "What's that?"

Falco: "Bro, you don't know what that is?"

Sonic: "No."

Fox: "People use that website for porn. She wanted to be a pornstar."

Sonic: "Wow."

Fox: "Yeah. I was pissed. I told her that she's basically cheating on me and we had a nasty argument."

Sonic: "I'm sorry to hear that."

Fox: "It's ok. I realized what made her want to do that was because I wasn't giving her enough attention."

Sonic: "Why?"

Fox: "I don't know. I wanted to do my own thing a lot. She always wanted to go out and do something, but I was lazy and said no. I wasn't ready for a girlfriend at the time. I'm still not."

Falco: "Fox likes his freedom."

Fox: "It's not that. I just… I don't know. At first it was exciting, but then I got tired of it. She didn't do anything wrong. I just didn't want to anymore. It took me a while to realize I wasn't interested in being in a relationship."

Sonic: "But I'm in love with Samus."

Fox: "I thought I was in love with Isabelle."

Sonic: "You don't think I love her?"

Fox: "You could be telling yourself that."

Sonic: "I never thought of it that way."

Fox: "It's going to take a while to understand your feelings and come to terms with it."

Sonic: "But I don't want to feel like this anymore."

Fox: "This is the only way you'll be able to move on. You gotta suffer first."

Sonic: "I wish I could forget the memories we shared together."

Fox: "I know how you feel. Trust me. It gets easier."
