Hello! Back with another chapter, I'm into this story quite a bit so I will try to update at least once a week. Also, to the person who said my writing is cringey, indeed, warrior cats are weird! But if you don't like my writing, don't read. Also, I am taking suggestions for writing tips, as I am still learning the best way to write. Btw I WILL not tolerate people making fun of others or me in the reviews. I write these for fun, so who cares if I make one grammar mistake or if they are cringey? -Newttuft

Paws that were his yet not clawed at his mother's neck, scarlet liquid seeping out. Her eyes blank.

He jolted awake at once, panting heavily as a spasm of pain rippled through his leg.

He yowled as searing hot agony splintered through his heart, grief flooding in at once.

Light was flooding in from an opening with wispy lengths of lichen, ivy trailing from a shallow in the stone floor winded across the den.

Oddly though, it seemed like there was ice in the den, when he reached out to touch one, it was not cold.

"You're awake!"

Sun twisted his neck to see a small brown tabby tom with patches of light ginger.

"If you're wondering, the ice like thing is called moonstone. Sometimes if you fall asleep here, you'll get visions from the land of flame and frost!"

"Flame and frost what?" He asked, then it dawned on him that he did not know this cat.

"Who are you?" he asked, trying to be polite.

The smallish tom mewed "I am Fawnpool, I'm the medicine cat of Ice clan."

The tom tilted his head slightly and spoke.

"You must not know about the clans! A medicine cat is one who heals their clanmates. And to your question earlier, the land of flame and frost is where cats who are deemed good when they die go."

Sun responded, "That makes more sense."

Fawnpool's eyes softened and said, "We found a dead she cat when the other clan cats, Fire clan attacked, was she of any importance to you?"

Sun's eyes dulled and murmured. "She was my mother."

He closed his eyes and laid back down and thought.

Mother mentioned the clans, but she described them as vicious cats with scars and no mercy.

These ones seem nice to me, but where did Flare go? I saw her run away.

His heart stopped.

Those sick cats might have captured her, if they hurt her, ….

He growled indecisively, if he went to get her, he would almost be guaranteed to die.

But then again, his sister, …. Stars! He didn't even know where she was.

Fluffy kitten moment cause why not ;3

Soft paws landed on him; the wind knocked out of him.

When he opened his eyes, he saw three kits on him, the smallest, a small silver and white she cat was staring at him with wide green eyes, "Kits." He thought.

He purred at the sight, reminding him of his younger kitten days.

"My papa says they found you fighting evil Fireclan, is that true?" The small silver one said.

He grimaced at the comment, amused and sad at the mention of the memory.

"Hush Moonkit!" Scolded a lithe molly with sleek light ginger fur.

"Sorry about that, my kits are curious, probably a bit too much." She purred.

"Who are you?" Sun asked, he was feeling at place in this place already, even though he only knew one cat so far, now two.

"I am Lotusthroat, deputy, and mother of Silverstar's kits." As she said kits, she glanced at the kittens behind her, peering from a tuft of soft ferns.

At that moment, a silvery tom with darker stripes and dazzling blue eyes padded in through the tunnel.

"You've woken." The tom rumbled, his meow like distant thunderstorms thundering their humid grumble.

His bright ginger fur shifted as he paused to lick at a tuft of fur that stood out, then replied.

"Y-you saved me, right?"

The silvery tom nodded; the tips of his ears twitched as one of the kits fell with an "Oof" on top of the kit who questioned him earlier.

"I'm Silverstar, leader of Iceclan."

Then, a dark shadow rushed in from the den entrance.

I know, cliffhanger, how terrifying! Also, to classmates who have found this fic, WHY.

-UR lovely author who does not have a life.
