AN RANT SPOILER: Some of you may be wondering what sizzle I feel is lacking. From my perspective, the world of Danmachi is like a kids playground compared Tanya's second life. Basically, without Being X, Tanya would just steam roll through everything and the story would become a slice of life for Tanya.When I started this fanfic, I wanted to see Tanyafight monsters, not write some slice of life.The reason why Tanya is going through floors so fast is because she's too strong. I can't see Tanya losing to brain dead monsters without giving Tanya crippling disability, gouging out her eyes, or straight up nerfing her. Basically, Tanya is too good at life to fail without interfere from Being X. I originally wanted to have Kuro be an antagonist, but decided to drop it. So basically, I want to see Tanya fight, but there's literally nothing that can pose a threat to her unless she actively start conflict herself. You think Tanya is just going to walk up to a powerful guild and start a fight? Of course she isn't. Bell could also pose a threat to her by if he doesn't like her, but let's be honest, she could easily neg him just like Mary Sue. Because of this, there were two directions I could take the story. Have Loki Familia become a villain trying to take over all of Orario, have Tanya try to pick up 100 girls, or both. But like I said, I came here to write Tanya struggling to fight monsters, not steam roll through everything. You know the beast pirates all star trio from One Piece? Yeah I wanted the Loki familia to be like the beast pirates with Tanya, Kuro, and Luna as the all stars. Was gonna have bell fight through the Loki familia to take down the All Stars or something.So, if this story were to continue, it would go through these two directions. As for character pov on why everyone is a side character, I wanted to focus building things up first before focusing on them. But still, we're lacking that sizzle. I don't want to give Tanya crippling disability for the sake of plot. You see where I'm going with this, unless Being X or the author start throwing monkey shit at Tanya, Tanya can't fail. So why not go with the Loki villain plot or Tanya picking up 100 girls plot? You see, I'm here for a good time, not a long time. And a good time is seeing Tanya fight. Ya'll ever know why I enjoyed Youjo Senki? Because Tanya was a beast at fighting, I loved watching her fight. Unless I blew of both Tanya's leg by forcing plot, Tanya is just going steamroll through things right now. Since I can rarely enjoy Tanya barely having any fights, why not enjoy more crack. I added Luna just so she could help Kuro produce more crack but it's just not enough. This fanfic runs on two things, Tanya fighting death and Crack. Kuro and Luna can't carry the story for Tanya since they ain't making me enough crack. So yeah, that's where we at.
Darius was a young Beastman with a small dream.
He just wanted to have a nice family and watch them grow.
Unfortunately, tragedy struck.
His village was going through a drought and all the animals were slowly dying.
Seeing his family and friends struggle to obtain food hurt him greatly.
So he made a plan.
He would go to Orario, the center of the world, to make money.
He would join a Familia.
He would make money.
He would send it back.
His village and family would survive.
So, no matter what, he couldn't die or everything would perish.
Searching for a Familia after reaching Orario was hard.
They were either already full or they weren't interested in him.
It wasn't until a Pallum stumbled upon him that he found hope.
The Pallum told him his name was Finn and that Darius seemed as desperate as he once was.
Darius was offered to join the Loki Familia through a contract by Finn.
He read the contract and found it quite generous.
Free medical care, free food, his family would get a hefty sum of money depening on his level if he died, free housing, and so many more benefits.
Quickly, Darius signed the contract.
He followed the Finn as Finn went on to recruit more people.
From what Finn told him, the Loki was going on a mass recruit to plan for the future.
After Finn recruited ten people, they went towards the Familia mansion.
Darius was awed by their wealth.
They were greeted by a woman with golden hair and blue.
There was something off and dangerous about the woman.
Darius felt unerved looking at her.
Others of his kind also seemed unerved.
The was the stench of blood on her, a lot of blood.
He and everyone were then guided to a tables full of food to converse among one another.
Next thing Darius knew, a party started.
As the party slowly died down, everyone along with him finally recieved their Falna from their goddess.
They were all given a room with beds that was pretty nice to sleep in.
When morning came, they were all given money to go have breakfest and come back.
The singing lady by the name of Luna also warned them to come back on time or Degurechaff will find ways to do bad things to them.
Everyone had breakfest and came back to the mansion on time.
Finn met them all and laid out the Familia plan.
Tanya, Kuro, and Luna would each take five Familia memebers everyday into the dungeon to train.
The rest would stay with him, Gareth, and Riveria to train.
There was no objection to the plan or improvement among anyone and so the plan began.
