AN: I found a good light novel to read so I won't be updating for a while.

Inside a hospital, a woman lay in bed with life support.

She was Mary Sue.

Degurechaff had messed her up badly.

Trying to live after the war was hard.

Her body was constantly in pain and she was as good as disabled.

While she suffered, her enemy Degurechaff bathed in glory and honor for bringing victory to the Empire.

Mary Sue coughed painfully.

Why, why does a devil like Degurechaff receives no justice?

She hated it, she hated Degurechaff.

Every day, she prayed for Degurechaff's death.

If there was a next life, she would bring justice upon Degurechaff.

Painfully, Mary Sue took her last breath.

Her soul was about to be taken by Being X when another hand reached out and took her soul.

It was Ghost Tanya.

She glanced at Mary Sue's soul with cruelty.

Being X looked at her silently.

"Were we not meant to never interact with each other again?"

Ghost Tanya played with Mary Sue's soul.

All it would take was a single breath, and she could blow Mary Sue's soul into non-existence.

She looked at Being X threateningly.

Being X gazed back calmly at her.

"Have you not let go?"

Ghost Tanya's eyes became cold and her voice dripped with venom.

"Let go? No, I will never let go. I will never forget! I will never forgive!"

Being X showed no reaction.

"Still, you do not change."

Ghost Tanya made a grin.

"Of course!"

Being X looked at Mary Sue's soul.

"You did not show mercy, you did not receive mercy."

Ghost Tanya's face filled with hatred.

"I have no desire for mercy, nor will I give it!"

Being X seemed to relax.

"Then what do you desire?"

Ghost Tanya pointed at Being X.

"I want to shoot your head off! But obviously, I can't!"

Ghost Tanya coldly played with Mary Sue's soul.

"So I've thought of something. Let's have another bet, just you and I. I bet I can make her lose faith in you. If she doesn't lose faith, I won't extinguish her soul. Are you willing to play?"

Being X became confident.

"Of course, besides, what other choices do I have?"

Ghost Tanya grinned confidently.

"Good!"

With that, she threw Mary Sue's soul into another world.

In that world, Kuro finally arrived back at the Familia mansion and entered the gate.

He looked around and saw Familia members going about their day.

Some were sparring with each other, some were chatting with each other, some were playing games with each other, some were reading books, and some were doing other things.

Inside the mansion, Tanya was doing some paperwork.

She thought of her retirement.

Level 5 should be a good level to retire.

After she manages to remove slavery somehow.

Her office door opened.

Only Loki, Kuro, or Luna came in without knocking.

Looking up, she found Kuro with a picnic basket.

Which was weird in her opinion.

Not that Kuro wasn't always weird.

"What do you have there?"

Kuro held up the picnic basket.

"A picnic basket of course."

Tanya looked blankly at him.

"I see."

He then showed her the inside of it.

"With a baby inside."

The blond blue-eyed baby and drawn angry eyebrows blinked at her.

"Kuro, where did you get this baby?"

Kuro smiled proudly.

"Found her in someone's house. No one was watching her so I just stole her. Anyway, can we keep her? I promise I won't forget to feed her like the last one."

The baby's eyes widened with shock.

Tanya looked stunned at Kuro.

Sometimes, she couldn't tell if he was joking or telling the truth."

She made a sigh.

"What's her name?"

"Tenya von Degurechaff with an E in Tenya."

Tanya's eyes widened with surprise.

She studied the baby carefully.

The baby blinked confusedly at her.

The baby actually looked like her younger self.

"Kuro, care to explain?"

Kuro fell into thought.

"Nah."

Kuro placed the picnic basket on her table.

"See you later, make sure to feed her."

With that, Tanya watched as Kuro left her office.

Tanya focused her attention back on the baby.

The baby blinked curiously at her.

Tanya reached into the basket and pulled Tenya out.

Tenya was light, very light.

If this was her, did she always seem so fragile and soft?

The two looked at each other.

Baby Tenya wiggled uncomfortably.

Tanya cradled Tenya and held her carefully.

Baby Tenya seemed to become comfortable.

Tanya blinked as she processed the situation.

What was going on?

What was happening?

Was this a dream?

Based on the physical touch she could see, this was most likely not a dream.

Tanya thought of screaming Kuro's name but decided not to.

It would most likely startle Baby Tenya.

Loki walked into the office and her jaws dropped at the sight.

Kuro had told her Tanya had a baby.

He wasn't lying but it seemed quite unbelievable so she decided to check it out.

Here before her was Tanya holding a baby?

"Tanya, is that your baby?"

Tanya's thoughts stopped for a moment but calmed herself.

"No."

Loki could see she wasn't lying.

"So, who is it?"

Tanya thought quickly.

"Someone who has close relations to me."

Tanya was telling the truth and Loki closed in to study the baby.

She saw the baby had a drawn angry eyebrows.

It made the baby looked so angry.

Loki burst into laughter.

The drawn angry eyebrows were most likely Kuro's doing.

Tanya didn't know why, but she became embarrassed.

If the baby was her, then Loki was laughing at her.

Tenya frowned at Loki which made her look angrier.

Loki laughed harder.

Tanya tried to wipe the angry eyebrow away but couldn't.

Loki fell to the floor and wheezed.

Baby Tenya's stomach grumbled.

Tanya got up and decided to go find milk for Tenya.
