C18: Necessary Conversations

It was a few days later that the two couples found the time to talk between the four of them, and now that they were ready, none of them knew where to start, especially since all four of them had some trouble focusing since they were cuddled up to their respective mates.
Luna and Gabrielle especially had trouble focusing because they had spent the majority of two days apart, and with a mating bond as new as theirs that had felt like an actual lifetime.
They had purposely chosen Hermione's bedroom for this talk, since it was both the biggest and had the more comfortable seats available, since they would need privacy for this talk and the library didn't guarantee that.
"Not that it isn't cute to witness you two be reunited after two days, but I believe we came here to talk now that we have the chance and privacy to do so." Fleur said with a soft smile as she pulled Hermione fully into her lap.
Gabrielle gave her sister a light glare as she continued to nuzzle her nose in Luna's neck. "It's not like you and 'ermione are any better. You two haven't left each other's arms since breakfast."
"Your sister is right though love. We have a lot to talk about, and no matter how nervous we are about this, it has to happen to avoid any unnecessary arguments in the future." Luna said with a soft smile.
Gabrielle sighed softly and nodded at her mate. "I know, but it's just hard to talk about these types of things. It makes me feel awkward."
"It is the same for all of us Gabrielle, but that doesn't make it less important. The sooner we get this out of the way, the sooner we can talk of the implications for all of us." Hermione said with a kind smile.
"Maybe we should start, mon amour." Fleur said softly.
Hermione nodded and smiled as she gave her lover a kiss. "Okay, although I will admit that is hard to actually find the words on where to begin. Luna and I have talked a lot over the past few days, as I am sure you and Gabrielle have done as well. I don't have to tell either of you of the bond Luna and I share, but what you probably do not know yet is that it goes deeper than we initially thought. Our mothers have told us both the full story of our conception and we have learned that we due to that share a far deeper connection, one that can never be severed in any way. We will always feel this urge to not just protect each other like sisters, but also be together like lovers, helping each other in times of emotional stress and hardship. It will of course never supersede the mating bond we share with you two, but it will be equally strong."
"And where exactly does that leave us. Will I always have to share Luna with you, and does Fleur has to share you with Luna?" Gabrielle asked softly.
Hermione and Luna both smiled at that. "No love, not really. You will be the only lover I will ever need, it is just that Hermione and I will always be closer than conventional sisters. We expect that in time, once we have completed our bond, the four of us will be far more comfortable in sharing this love, which is not to say that it will be expected for you to share the same with your sister as Hermione and I do, but it will definitely become a lot more intimate. I also think that once we get to Hogwarts and you are hopefully sorted into our House, which we expect, that it will gradually become a lot more normal for you to distinguish these feelings, as it will be for me too." Luna said with a loving smile.
"And don't forget Gabby, that your Veela is still maturing and not all emotions you feel from her will make sense immediately. Trust me when I say that they will make more sense in time. I can feel the full depth of their feelings for each other because Hermione and I did complete our bond and while it feels very similar, the feelings involved are very different." Fleur said with a soft smile.
Gabrielle nodded at that. "Okay, that I can understand, but what will this mean for us? Will the four of us eventually get together in the same manner as Luna and I are?"
"Not at all love, while I can't deny that I love Hermione almost as much as I love you, we won't ever go that far. Your sister is mated to mine just as I am to you. What I think will happen is that we'll eventually share a bed, just because it comforts us all, and once we are ready to strike out on our own we might live close together, our mothers have a big plot of land where I think would love to eventually build us two homes so that we can always be close but not in close quarters to each other." Luna said sweetly.
Gabrielle leaned her had back against her lover's shoulder. "I honestly don't know if I'm entirely comfortable with that, but I suppose I also can't be sure until we try it."
Luna smiled and pressed a soft kiss to her mate's cheek. "How about we make tonight a test run then, that way we can all experience how it is to at least spend the night in the same bed."
Gabrielle nodded at that. "I think that would be best, because I'm sure it is not as bad as I am imagining it to be."
"I promise that it will not be different from all the times we've spent together in bed, Gabby, only this time you'll be cuddled up to your mate while I am cuddled up to mine." Fleur said with a soft smile.
The two young blondes smiled at that. "Would that be in similar dress style as we used to do at home?"
"Of course, why bother with night clothes when the feeling of just the covers is so much better, and I believe Hermione and Luna have been doing this for quite a while now." Fleur said with a soft smile.
Hermione smiled at that. "Yes we do. It has certainly helped us focus during exams last year."
Gabrielle smiled at that, now more confident that everything she had been worrying about would eventually be for naught.

Later that afternoon Hermione and Luna were in the library with Bellatrix, while Fleur and Gabrielle were with Pandora in her Potion's lab since the blonde had offered to teach them both her specialty potion, which Hermione and Luna knew would be something Fleur would be able to use in her shop.
Bellatrix on her turn had purposely brought them to the library, because it was time for her daughters to learn the full truth about not only their conception, but also about the bond they shared, something she knew Narcissa and Andromeda purposely had not told them about.
She had asked them separately about what they had already discovered and had been impressed with what they had already found, but that it was also not even close to the full story.
She had just gotten her old diary from her secret storage and had just sat down again, smiling at her daughters who were very expectantly cuddled up together. "I still can't get over how adorable you look when you're sitting together like that."
The two girls smiled at her. "We had very good examples in you and Mummy it seems." Hermione said as she wrapped her arms tighter around her sister.
Bellatrix smiled at them as motioned for them to come and sit next to her, which they did without any hesitation, going so far as to press themselves against their mother's side, making the raven-haired witch smile even brighter. "Yes, it seems both of our genes run very deep within the both of you."
They both smiled and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Ever since we found out the truth, we knew that there couldn't be any other way you two could be with each other, given how comfortable we are in cuddling with each other while we both had serious issues with any form of closeness with Ginny, who is our best friend."
Bellatrix smiled at them. "That's because you're both Blacks and we have a bit of an issue with any form of intimacy with anyone who isn't family. You won't believe how long it took me to accept the bond I shared with your mother."
"That's a bit hard to imagine given how cuddly you two are every day." Luna said softly.
Bellatrix smiled and pressed a kiss to her cheek. "That is the effect of your mother breaking down my walls for three years. Only then I was able to sit myself down and work through all these things I was feeling for her. Emotions have never been my strong suit, at least not until I first held Hermione in my arms. You were such a beautiful baby that I vowed in that moment to become the best mother I could possibly be, and to this day I regret not fighting harder for my family so I could've done the same for you, Luna."
"It's okay Mama, we have a lifetime to make up for the time that was stolen from us." Luna said with a soft smile.
Bellatrix nodded at her as she opened up her diary. "While I would love to talk about our future more, we do need to talk about this, because you both need to learn the truth. Panny and I have told you a bit about how you two were conceived, and you've both done a fair bit of research, but in order to fully understand why exactly you two are so close I have to tell you the full story."
Hermione and Luna nodded and got comfortable against their mother, who pressed a kiss to the top of their heads. "Okay, this might all start off a bit convoluted, but I promise it'll make sense when I'm done telling. To ensure that we would be able to break the cycle that had become the norm for our family, Pandora and I resorted to the old magic, which while more potent also came with several risks, which is why we needed to be sure that our own soul mate bond was as strong as it possibly could be before we could attempt to get pregnant.
The ritual we ended up using required us both to give up a little bit of our own magic and blood to ensure a healthy pregnancy, especially since the risk of things going wrong was still very high. What we didn't realize at the time is that in giving that little bit of our magic, we also gave up a small part of our souls, which is the reason you two resemble us in so many ways. It also means that you two also share a sort of soulmate bond with each other because you two have a part of our souls inside of you. This also means that like me and your mother, you two will always feel this pull to each other, and I must urge you to tell your mates of this as soon as you possibly can, but I think that is not going to be an issue."
Their eyes widened a little at hearing the truth behind their bond. "Wow, we knew it went deep, but we never thought it could go this deep, but if we have a piece of your souls, does that mean we are your Horcruxes?" Luna asked softly.
Bellatrix was a bit surprised to hear them say that. "Before I answer that, I need to know how you know about those."
"Aunt Cissa told us about the methods the Dark Lord used to come back and we did our own research on them." Hermione said softly.
Bellatrix breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank Merlin for that. I was a bit worried that you two would've gone down that dark path for some reason, but no you are not our Horcruxes. The intent is very important, and because we gave the pieces of our soul out of the purest love, it could never be something that dark. What this has ensured is that we too share something deeper than a conventional bond between mothers and daughters. Not necessarily intimate, but far more emotional."
The two girls smiled at that. "We feel that too, and it feels good to finally have that confirmation, and you would also be right in saying that we will talk about this with Fleur and Gabrielle tonight."
Bellatrix smiled at that. "I figured as much, given how long you two talked this morning, and I want you to know that we are okay with whatever happens between you and Gabrielle. We know better then to try and oppose the urges of a mating bond, and we trust that you two will be smart in this."
Luna smiled and pressed a kiss to her mother's cheek, the two girls more than content to stay exactly like this for the remainder of the afternoon, or at least until Pandora, Fleur and Gabrielle came looking for them.

When the two couples were back in Hermione's bedroom later that evening, both Hermione and Luna were becoming increasingly more nervous about telling their mates about what they had learned today, and of course the two Veela noticed this immediately. "What's wrong mon amour? You look nervous." Fleur said softly.
Hermione smiled and cuddled into her mate. "Would you believe that we are. We learned some things that were a bit shocking for us." Hermione said softly.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure it won't change anything. Your mother gave us a lot of insights while we were waiting for her potion to come to the boil." Gabrielle said with a sweet smile.
Luna smiled and pressed a kiss to her mate's cheek. "They're both quite good at that. Mama gave us great insights too after dropping that bombshell on us, and that bombshell is why we're so nervous to talk to you. It is once again something that changes our lives."
Fleur smiled at the young blonde before turning to her mate. "Is this why you two are so nervous?"
Hermione nodded at her. "It's not nerves per say, I just don't know how to actually say it."
"The beginning is usually a good place to start, mon amour." Fleur said with a teasing wink.
Hermione gave her a light glare. "Don't you start. It's difficult enough as it is. Mama told us the truth of our conception. The ritual they used not only asked for their magic and blood, but also a piece of their very soul, which is why Luna and I share a similar bond to them, being soulmates in a way too."
Both Fleur and Gabrielle were surprised to hear that, and as Fleur placed a hand over her mate's stomach she felt it, the thread connecting her mate to her sister, and it very much felt like the bond Veela sisters shared with each other, albeit a bit more intimate. "Magnefique. It feels almost exactly like the bond Veela sisters share, I promise you that this will never be something that would cause an argument." She said with a loving smile before turning to her sister. "Do you remember when we were young and inseparable for a very long time? This feels very similar but also more intimate, but something we can easily adapt too. My Veela doesn't react any differently than she did a minute ago."
Gabrielle smiled at that. "I suppose not much has changed besides knowing why exactly you feel that way."
Luna and Hermione smiled at that. "There was something else love. Mama said that we were free to explore our relationship at our own pace. They trust us to not go too quickly." Luna said softly.
Gabrielle smiled and kissed her softly. "That is good news, because I had some serious issues holding myself back. My Veela is screaming for more intimate contact with you." She said as she pressed herself closer to the blonde, who immediately wrapped an arm around her lover's waist.
Fleur and Hermione smiled sweetly at their siblings. "It is almost as if we're looking into a mirror, isn't it mon amour?" Fleur said with a soft smile as she gently caressed her mate's stomach.
Hermione moaned softly and pressed herself against her mate. "We weren't nearly as sappy in the beginning of our relationship, and I certainly didn't realize my feelings as quickly as my sister did."
"That is true, but once you did it all went very quickly, non?" Fleur asked softly.
Hermione nodded and kissed her softly, the two witches quickly losing themselves in each other, both being a bit desperate for some intimate times together.
Next to them Gabrielle and Luna weren't fairing much better. Now that they had been given permission to take things further, they were thoroughly enjoying that newfound freedom by doing some experimental touching. "Your nipples are so stiff, mon amour."
"It's all because of your naked body against mine baby. I can't get enough of you." Luna said softly.
Gabrielle smiled at her as she let her fingers skim over her mate's hard nipple. "So perfect. I can't believe that I'm mated to you mon amour. It still feels like a dream."
Luna smiled and kissed the blonde softly as she wrapped her legs around those of her mate. "I feel exactly the same, my love. Every time I look at you I feel blessed to be able to have this future with you."
"I can't wait for that future, nor can I wait for the coming year. If I'm sorted into your House I foresee a lot of fun for us, especially with your sister there. I have come to realize after the talk with your mother that all of my fears were for naught. This feels almost as natural as breathing." Gabrielle said softly.
Hermione smiled at that, having taken a short break from making out with her mate. "I have no doubt you'll be sorted into Ravenclaw. You embody curiosity if I am to believe your sister."
That made the young blonde blush a little. "While true, it is a bit embarrassing to have Fleur tell all the stories of my youth."
"It wasn't all of them mon tresor. Only the ones that I had always found particularly amusing and had a part in myself. I know very well I am far from blameless in the mischief we used to get up to." Fleur said with a soft smile.
Gabrielle smiled at that. "No you certainly weren't, I would dare say that the ones we got into the most trouble for usually came from your mind."
Fleur smiled and nodded at her sister. "I would gladly admit that mon tresor, and since it was always shared misery for the both of us, I would say I paid the price for them too."
Gabrielle just smiled at that, pressing a soft kiss to Luna's knuckles as she decided not to comment on that, focusing solely on her mate, which suited Fleur just fine because she did exactly the same.

The following morning Gabrielle woke up on top of her mate, smiling softly at the angelic look of her mate in the early morning, and she couldn't help but imagine how this sight would be a few years from now, when they would be the age that their sisters were now.
She knew one thing though, they would have an amazing life together, she couldn't see it any other way after she and Fleur had spent the entirety of yesterday afternoon with Pandora. Her mate's mother shared a lot of characteristics with her mate, which wasn't as much of a surprise after learning that the sisters had pieces of both of their mother's soul in them.
Luna stirred under her and smiled as she opened her eyes. "Good morning beautiful. Did you sleep okay?" She asked softly.
"I slept amazing mon amour, especially since this was the first time we were able to sleep together with the barrier of clothes between us. A girl could get used to this." Gabrielle said before kissing her mate softly.
Luna smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around the petite blonde, more than content to luxuriate in her mate's presence.
Next to them Fleur and Hermione had also just woken up to witness this sweet sight, both of them content to watch their sisters have fun with each other. "It's almost mesmerizing to watch them explore each other isn't it cherí?"
Hermione nodded and kissed her mate softly. "It is, but I know from personal experience that doing anything intimate with Luna is always mesmerizing to say the very least."
Fleur smiled and rolled on top of her lover, snaking one hand between their bodies as she sought one of the brunette's nipples. "I know, I've watched you two be cuddled up together for the past couple of days now, and you two seem to have just as much trouble keeping your hands to yourselves as we do when we're together."
"Can you really blame me for that, I mean, look at her. She's gorgeous." Hermione said softly.
"That she is cherí. Good genes definitely run deep in both of you." Fleur said lovingly.
Hermione smiled and kissed her mate deeply, giving the blonde's butt of a generous squeeze as they continued to make out until the door burst open to reveal Bellatrix. "Good morning my sweets. I trust you had a good night sleep?"
The four girls blushed and scrambled to regain a modicum of decency. "Mom! There is such a thing called knocking." Hermione said with a pout.
Bellatrix just smiled at her. "I know sweetie, and I'm sorry. I just wanted to ensure that you four wouldn't draw your aunt's ire by being late for breakfast. We have a lot planned today if you remember." The raven haired witch said kindly.
Hermione smiled at her. "We'll be down in a bit Mama. I wouldn't dare to miss breakfast or our planned trip."
Bellatrix smiled and nodded. "I know sweetie, and just for the record, you don't have to hide anything. Your mother and I have seen it all before. You two certainly weren't this shy the last couple of days."
"We're not really used to someone interrupting us Mama." Luna said softly.
"I promise I won't make a habit of it sweetling. I just couldn't resist this morning, it is somewhat of a milestone in motherhood after all." Bellatrix said with a grin.
Both Hermione and Luna smiled at that as the raven-haired witch took her leave. "Well chalk that up to unexpected things happening this morning." Hermione said softly.
Fleur smiled and kissed her. "With how attached your mothers are to you two, I had expected this at some point, albeit not as quickly as this."
The brunette just smiled as they got out of bed, freshening up a little before getting dressed, by now any form of shame between them erased, even with Gabrielle who had a hard time focusing on anything else beside her mate.
When the four girls sat down for breakfast twenty minutes later, mostly because all four of them had issues keeping their hands to themselves while they were getting dressed, both Bellatrix and Pandora wore bright smiles at their daughters and their mates, which did not go unnoticed by the rest of the family. "I swear watching you all interact with each other is enough to give me a sugar shock." Dora said with a smile.
Hermione smiled at her cousin. "I think we're more than allowed to be sappy with our mothers after being away from them for most of our lives. Aunt Andi has told me all about how adorably cuddly you were when you were young."
Dora grinned at that. "That is very true, and you know I was only teasing. I think it is really sweet to see that our family is finally complete, and continues to get bigger."
"It is indeed very good to see, and while I am usually very much against teasing each other at breakfast, for this once I do not mind, because Dora very much speaks the truth. It is a good thing that our family is growing." Narcissa said with a kind smile.
Bellatrix smiled as she gave her mate's hand a squeeze. "And soon we'll be able to finish what was started so long ago, because only when the old man lies dead at my feet this will be over, and only then will we be able to rebuild our society in the way it needs to."
"We'll be right beside you Mama, no matter what." Hermione said softly.
Bellatrix smiled and pressed a kiss to her daughter's cheek. "There will be a meeting next week, there we will hear what the plans are going forward and what the roles of you, your sister and your mates will be, but keep in mind that while you are still in school they will be limited."
Luna, Hermione, Draco and Gabrielle nodded at that. "We understand aunt Bella, but we will still be ready to do our parts. At school we'll be able to disrupt Dumbledore's plans too." Draco said between bites, which got him a stern glare from his mother, which made the blonde blush.
Narcissa just smiled at him as she gave Hermione a quick wink, the family trading light conversation for the remainder of breakfast.

When the six witches appeared on their property a few hours later, both Bellatrix and Pandora couldn't help but smile, Pandora because her wards seemed to have held up and Bellatrix on finally being able to bring her daughters to the home of their birth. "I have to say love, it has seen better days." Bellatrix said with a smile.
Pandora smiled and gave her soulmate a wink. "Trust me that I have done this purposely, my love. It wouldn't do if our home was raided after your imprisonment and my subsequent disappearance. It would be best if the Order thought they had succeeded in their assassination attempt. Once we get inside of the wards you'll see that our home is still very much intact."
Bellatrix smiled at that. "That is good to hear, and I'm glad that you even in those circumstances you though of doing that."
Pandora just smiled and pressed a kiss to her love's cheek. "I could never let anything happen to our home after I had already failed our family."
"You didn't fail us Mummy, please don't think that you ever failed us. You did everything in your power to bring Luna to safety. I know we lost a lot of time together, but neither of you have any blame in that. The important thing is that we are together again and this time no one will break us apart." Hermione said softly.
Pandora smiled at her daughter. "Thank you sweetie, I promise to try and not feel as guilty anymore, but it is hard not to."
"We know Mummy, and we understand that it will take a while, we'll always be here for you just as you are always there for us." Luna said sweetly.
Both Bellatrix and Pandora smiled at them. "Thank you sweetling, but we shall talk about this later. Today's reminiscing will be about showing you where you were born and where we might live once this is all over." Bellatrix said with a soft smile.
"May I suggest something love? How about you take Hermione and Fleur to see the property first and then I will take Luna and Gabrielle to the house for a few hours, and afterwards we'll reverse that." Pandora said sweetly, knowing it usually went a long way in getting things done from her mate.
The raven-haired witch nodded and smiled. "That is an excellent idea love, otherwise we might be stuck in the house all day, and I believe it was the purpose of this outing to spend some time outside with our daughters and their mates."
Pandora nodded and smiled at her as she gave her lover a kiss and then looked at her youngest daughter and her mate." Shall we then girls. There is a lot to see."
Luna and Gabrielle nodded at her and followed the blonde to the house, while Bellatrix shared an expectant look with her eldest and the Veela who had an arm wrapped around the brunette's waist. "That leaves us with a grand tour of the property. I think you two will like it."
"We have no doubt of that Bellatrix. Hermione told me that you and Pandora wouldn't eventually having us here too." Fleur said kindly.
Bellatrix smiled at the blonde. "We would love to have you live on the property with us. I trust my daughter has told you the story of her and Luna's conception?"
Fleur nodded at her. "We talked about little else last night, and honestly it makes a lot of sense in the things I feel from her. I realized very early on that there was something very special between Hermione and Luna and after hearing the story last night the things my Veela felt made a lot more sense. It is also the reason why Gabrielle was a bit apprehensive about sharing all of this with Hermione and myself."
Bellatrix smiled and nodded. "I can understand that. It even took Narcissa, who I share something similar to Hermione and Luna with, quite some time before she was okay with joining me and Pandora in any way, shape or form."
"That is still hard for me to imagine, despite everything I've done with Luna. I just can't imagine aunt Cissa being so intimate with you and Mummy." Hermione said with a slight blush.
Bellatrix smiled and pressed a kiss to her daughter's cheek. "I know my sweet, but your aunt wasn't always the paragon of virtue and manners she now is, and I believe that even to this day she and Andi often find each other's beds. It is both a blessing and a curse on our family that women of our family more often then not prefer to pursue relationships with other women. All women in our family are also often overly sexual."
"You can't deny that it is true, mon amour. You and your sister are prime examples of this, as well as the thing we often do with each other." Fleur said teasingly.
Hermione smiled at that. "Yeah I know, it's just strange to think about, and honestly it is also strange to think about my mothers like that, I fully blame the Muggles that raised me for that. The were very religious and anything other then their normal was a sin. Its why it took me so long to accept the feelings I had for you."
Bellatrix growled low in her throat as she pulled her daughter close. "We'll deal with them in time too, Hermione. That I promise. No one indoctrinates my daughter into thinking who she loves is sinful."
Hermione smiled and pressed herself close to her mother, while giving her mate's hand a loving squeeze, for the first time in a long time truly happy and confident that everything would be okay.
Bellatrix merely smiled at her as they explored the property together, and more than once Fleur pointed out locations that she thought would be beautiful to build a home on, something Hermione fully agreed with and Bellatrix couldn't be happier about.
