Three years later, Stryker had grown to a whopping 35 ft long and weighted 4 tones. Today, he was stirring around as he saw Ruby leaving with Yang on her motorcycle.

"I'm sorry Stryk," said Ruby, "But I can't bring you with me to Beacon."

Then she took off with Yang. Stryker couldn't stop worrying about her. That night, he followed the scent of Ruby and Yang off in the distance. He sneaked onto the airship that had their scent. The next morning, he felt the ship take off. He held on, and watched the ship lift off. He looked in amazement when he saw the world from the sky and that the ship was able to take his weight.

In the airship, Yang was happy for Ruby.

"OOH I CAN'T BELIEVE MY BABY SISTER IS COMING TO BEACON THE SAME YEAR AS ME!" she squealed excitedly.

"Yang, it's okay," said Ruby.

"Are you okay?" asked Yang. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just can't believe that I came two years early and I'm just sad that I couldn't bring Stryker along. I just don't want anyone thinking I'm special."

"You are special. And it's okay. You can make new friends when we get to Beacon. You'll be the Bee's knees. And Stryker can take care of himself."

"But I don't want to be the Bee's Knees. I want to be a normal girl with normal knees."

Ruby looked out and saw the city of Vale.

"Wow, you can see Signal from up here!" said Ruby, "Home isn't far from here."

"Beacon is our home now," said Yang.

Ruby then saw something. She couldn't be sure, but she swore that it was a tail.

Stryker looked at the tower in awe. He had never seen anything so tall. He hoped that he wouldn't have to climb it to find Ruby. When they landed, Stryker sneaked into the trees watching over Ruby and Yang. He knew Yang could take care of herself, but he was worried about Ruby. Yang just then ran off with other people, leaving Ruby dazed. She then fell over some person's luggage, and the person was scolding her. Stryker didn't like this at all. He then saw a girl with a bow that smelled like a prey animal that Ruby and Yang call "cat". The grumpy girl then just walked off. Stryker then followed her. He then hit a rock with his tail and it hit the mean girl in the head. Stryker then chuffed in amusement. In the brush, the girl with the bow could've sworn she saw a tail in the bushes. Stryker then watched Ruby get up off the ground with the help of a blonde boy. He was on edge for a bit but he soon calmed down when he saw he was friendly.

Stryker watched from outside and watched the students get ready for bed in the night. He saw Ruby and Yang together and was happy. He then saw the blonde boy with pajamas with bunnies on his feet. Did he not know he was supposed to eat them? He saw Ruby and Yang walk over to the cat scented girl and talk with her. He saw that they were okay and went to sleep close to the building and out of the window's sight. In the Ballroom, Blake and half of the Faunus in the room could feel something that put them on edge. They didn't know what, but it was dangerous.

The next morning, Stryker woke up to see the Ballroom empty, and sneaked off to go hunt. He feasted on a few deer and was walking back, when he saw students in a line, among them was Ruby and Yang. He sneaked by keeping a low profile, and no one noticed him. He then saw them get launched into the Grimm infested forest. Stryker watched in fear as Ruby was launched into the forest. He then watched the blonde boy get launched screaming.

"If you wish to follow her," said a man, "you should do so now."

Stryker looked to the man and was amazed that he knew that he was there. Stryker then took off into the forest to find Ruby and Yang.

"You knew that creature was there the whole time?" asked the woman next to the man.

"There is more than one reason I let Mrs. Rose into Beacon early," replied the man.
