Naruto came back to their room at the inn and noticed that Sakura was not there yet. She was staying out for a pretty long time as it was almost sundown and if she did not get back soon than she would stuck out there a statue all night.
Worried but not so much so that he was thinking something happened to her. she should be able to handle herself at least against most people who were not ninjas themselves. They might just be genins but they were no pushovers when it came to just dealing with the average person.
Than he found this girl that this guy had turned to stone right before. Having to deal with Sakura turning to stone every night for awhile now seeing someone else do brought not only flashbacks to whatever was done to Sakura back in the Forest of Death by that Orochimaru guy. There was now this guy doing it someone else without him even know could it be undone for not just her but everyone that around them as well.
He noticed the other statues around Sakura and having seen Ishidate turn the girl that brought him here into one as well. That bad feeling he had came turn true thus he sent Ishidate flying.
"Undo it right now" Naruto demanded.
"Brat I am not undoing anything as that girl is my current meal ticket along...interesting this one was not here before" he said noticing Sakura's statue amongst the others.
He did not even have time to realize how much he had just messed up as Jiraiya arrived after it was all over and it was not a pretty sight to behold either. The guy beat not just black and blue but ended up turning himself into stone. Apparently in an attempt to use his strange gauntlet on Naruto. He literally broke Ishidate's arm to force him into touching himself.
Before Ishidate was completely turned into a statue himself, Jiraiya quickly took over his hand that was wearing the gauntlet. They would probably need that to undo what was done to everyone that here minus Sakura(yet they could learn from this possibly though).
Jiraiya than picked up Hime and set her up so that she was position up right.
"*Sighing* Seriously you got in quite some trouble this time around" He said dusting her off from the dirt that had collected on her from being on the ground.
"You know this girl" Naruto asked him
"I guess you can say that I know her and that person over there as well. The only Sakura is actually next to. You can say the same for them as well. Though how that guy and his group managed to have them stored out here without anyone realizing it does amaze me a bit" the Sanin replied.
"There were more of them" Naruto exclaimed
"Yup though I already took care of everyone else and they are being handled by the proper people by now. Left them enough clues to find them after tipping them off to their whereabouts as well what they were doing" he said
Than after that Jiraiya had Naruto lower Sakura into a toad mean from transportion. While he loaded in Hime, the other statue that next to Sakura, and that strange gauntlet that Ishidate was using.
"Do you ever manage to actually summon a toad by the way" he asked as they were heading back to their room.
"About that I kind of fell down a cliff today. Strange as being chased by something and just ran off it without knowing" Naruto told him "Than managed to summon this giant toad that got pissed and would not accept what I did until I held onto him all day"
"Good cause we are heading back to Konoha first thing in the morning. Let Sakura know that the moment she revert back from being a statue" Jiraiya told him
"What about looking for Tsunade though"came the reply
"I will let you know about that once we get to back to our room" he was told.
