Rewritten Chapter 3
Life Changes Part 2
[July 27th Year X782]
It has been a week since Natsu got a special delivery from the unknown Guy. He has been training and reading books. He has improved quite a lot and he even liked his new clothes (Darknight Blaze uniform) He then begins to clear the forest of where he lives since he does own the land and it's bigger than anyone would expect as many people thought he owned only a small plot of land not that it bothers him.
"This is going to take forever," Natsu says to himself as he was digging an area so that water can run through. "If only my affinity towards elements was better it would have helped me out" he complains as he continues to dig until his shovel hits something hard "Crap! There better not be a hard giant rock down there," he says as he begins to move the dirt by hand until he found a golden key. He brought it up to his eye level and recognizes it right away.
[Flashback]
"Anna-Sensei, why do you carry those gold and silver keys for?" Young Natsu asked his teacher.
Anna smiles as young Natsu and spoke "These keys are special keys as they allow me to summon a Celestial Spirit that would help me with a task, I needed help with or when I get lonely, I would sit down and hang around with them"
Young Natsu looked amazed "So they are like a Family?" he asked with childish curiosity.
Anna laughs "Yes, they are like Family and friends to me but sadly some people out there treat them badly. Luckily, I manage to gather them all and form a contract with them before those bad people get their hands on them" she says with a smile.
[Flashback Ends]
A tear rolled down Natsu's face as he remembers his teacher while looking at the golden key he found and smile gently "I may not be a Celestial Mage, but I promise you Anna-Sensei, I will treat them with kindness" as he looks at the shape and symbol of the key and knows right away that this is his teachers most favorite spirit. "Virgo," he says to himself in a whisper as he remembers her when Anna-Sensei summons her. A beautiful lady with long straight hair that is pink that tends to wear a French maid costume with clear blue eyes that reminds him of the sky. 'I wonder if I could summon her' he thought as he held the key close to him and let some of his magic flow to it as he chants "I Natsu Dragneel wish to make a contract with the Holy Spirit Virgo the Maiden and if she deems me worthy, please answer my calling Open Gate of the Maiden Virgo" as he saws that the key glows with its golden light
(Ding dong)
A Beautiful Maiden appears right in front of Natsu, and she bows her head "I Virgo the Maiden answers the Call of a Summoner and am willing to form a contract with the Summoner" Virgo says as she brought her head up to look at her summoner.
Natsu was happy to be able to summon her "I look forward to making a contract with you," Natsu says as he looks at her and she looks the same way he remembers.
Virgo saw her reflection from the water behind the Summoner and was surprised that she took this appearance again as she haven't taken it for the last 400 years and the way he did the summoning was an old-fashioned way to summon a spirit to form a contract as must Celestial Mages uses the newer one to save time and put themself on a default contract. "Let's begin to form a contract, Summoner," she says as it's an old-fashioned way to form a contract that is special between the summoner and Celestial Spirit
[2 hours later]
Natsu and Virgo finished the contract, and it took a lot longer than they both thought but now that the contract is completed Virgo hold Natsu's hand and both did a chant that is in an ancient language
"The contract is formed, Prince" Virgo says with a smile.
Natsu sighs with relief "I am glad the contract is done, and I can get back to digging this. I just didn't expect it to take this long" he says as he grabs the shovel and begins digging.
Virgo brought her finger touching under her lips and make her head lean to the side "Well, unlike the default contract which is fast and easy, and all mages would go for. Special contracts are good for both the Celestials spirit and the Summoner with the lack of restrictions, so it's expected to take a long time, but I think this is the longest one that was recorded" she says as she was thinking on stuff.
"I prefer Special Contract as it's better and I like it more than the default contract as the normal one can cause a lot of trouble for both of us," Natsu says as he kept digging.
Virgo nodded as she knows the benefits of it, she then looked at what Natsu was doing "Do you need help with that, Prince?" she asked as she see Natsu working hard digging.
Natsu look up at her "Any help is welcome the plans are on the table please look at them as I am planning to make a Winery and Farm" he says as he went back to digging the ground.
Virgo went to the table and looked at the plans which surprised her how well planned it is and decided to help her Prince big time "Prince could you get out the way so I can use my Earth-Magic?" She asked.
Natsu knew right away Celestial Spirits have a Mastery of their Magic and since he has a lot of magic then your everyday wizard means that Virgo will be able to access a lot of powerful spells easily. So, he decided to get out of the area he dug "Go ahead and Thanks" he says.
Virgo within minutes dug out all the areas that are needed and now there's a new lake that will help Natsu out a lot "All done, Prince" Virgo says as she smiles at him.
"Thanks a lot this should help me out big time, I should start getting stuff to build Winery Manor which should take a few days to gather and maybe a Month to build," Natsu says as He is happy but at the same time thinking about stuff.
Virgo nodded happily and then question Natsu "I don't take you as much of a builder, Prince," she says as she looked at Natsu.
"I had to learn how to build stuff since I keep destroying stuff. Believe me, It cost fewer problems in the long run" Natsu says as he remembers when he destroyed stuff and Makarov had him rebuild and repair stuff. "I guess I should go do some training for the rest of the day since I didn't expect the main part of the plan to finish this fast thanks to you," he says with a small smile.
Virgo looked at him and can tell that Natsu was not much of a smiling person, so to see a small smile it was a nice thing to see, and she thought about offering him help in whatever training he is doing and luckily Natsu notice this and he spoke "I am doing all kind of training since I no longer have my lost-magic and It would help out a lot of you could help me out" and Virgo nodded in agreement
[Time Skip 1 year later July 27th Year X783]
Natsu has been training with his Celestial Spirit and became a lot stronger and is deeply knowledgeable in magic and combat. The Farm and Winery are fully built even the Winery Manor is done. He and Virgo come up with the name of the place and call it Celestial Fairy Winery and it's been only both of them that has been working together there.
[Scene changes to Fairy Tail]
Mirajane was serving drinks to guild members and was thinking about how everyone hasn't seen Natsu for a year now and that worries her and then she sees Makarov coming down with a bag of Jewels which means they are having a delivery from Celestial Fairy Winery Which has gotten extremely popular here real fast which in itself was impressive and the funny thing is nobody knows who is the owner of it.
"Mira, what time is it?" Makarov asked as he looks forward to the delivery of this batch that he ordered.
Mirajane looked at the clock and said "It should be here soon, Master"
"Delivery from Celestial Fairy Winery to Fairy Tail!" Shouted Natsu as Makarov and Mirajane went outside of the Guild building to meet the delivery person and they both didn't expect it to be "Natsu?!"
Natsu looked at them both and raise an eyebrow "What? You were expecting Virgo to do the delivery today or something?" he asked.
Makarov's jaw dropped as spoke "I didn't know you work at Celestial Fairy Winery since We haven't seen you for a year" as he tries to recompose himself which Mirajane nodded but she was also happy to see Natsu and she also likes Natsu new clothing that he is wearing.
Natsu then remembered that of course, they wouldn't know since they haven't seen him in a year. "I guess that makes sense since I was really busy with stuff," he says as he brought up the list "Just to confirm your ordered Celestial Spirit Drink, Summer-special grape juice, Fairy Wine, Dandelion Wine, and Drunken Fallen Fairy Correct?" Natsu asked as he want to make sure he got everything correct.
Makarov nodded "Yep that's all of it," he says to confirm.
"That will be 50,000 Jewels and should last you for a Month unless Cana drinks it all," Natsu says as he gave the paper to Makarov to sign and get paid.
Mirajane looks at Natsu and agrees since Cana drank all of the first lot that they ordered overnight then she looks at the load that was delivered and asks "Natsu could you help us out since Elfman went on a job and it's always him that takes it down to the basement?" with her sweet angelic smile.
"No problem," Natsu says as he snaps his fingers, and the load begins to float, and he walked into the Guild.
Makarov looked with interest as he knows that was Gravity Manipulation Magic, which is a lost magic since all most of the records of it were lost 300 years ago and yet he just saw it right in front of his eyes 'Interesting' he thought as he walked into the guild with Mirajane.
[Inside the Guild]
Natsu walked in with the load then he walks into the kitchen to get to go to the basement. Everyone was shocked when they see Natsu as they haven't seen him in ages, and they recognize the stuff that was floating after Natsu 'Booze' All the adults thought then they saw Natsu come out and walked to the building exit with a wave "Thank you for buying from Celestial Fairy Winery" Natsu says before leaving.
The words that Natsu said went into everyone's head except for a few guild members who aren't there due to quest or job they token. "What the heck?!" everyone shouted and somehow, they begin to fight among each other.
Makarov sighs as he knows this is going to be annoying.
Mirajane just smiled and thought 'I should thank Natsu for the entertainment that he just cost' as some things never change.
Well, that's the end of this Third chapter of the Natsu who rises above the Dragon Slayer. I know it's a bit of a boring chapter. I think I bore myself while writing this as well which isn't a great idea to do. The next chapter will be a big-time skip to when Gray and Happy meet Lucy which will be interesting and Natsu will be working as a bartender in Fairy Tail while running his own business as I don't think I make the story interesting enough before reaching July 2, X784 but in the future chapter, I might add flashbacks to fill in the blanks. I would also like to say that Natsu will be a side character for a few chapters as I want to make the story, not just about Natsu p.o.v but about other characters as well. I would also like to confirm that Virgo and Eclipse Virgo will look like cannon but with just long hair. Now that's enough of me talking here are the current ship list.
