Rewritten Chapter 4
Let the Story begin
Just a reminder this is a time skip from July 27th Year X783 to July 2 Year X784 chapter.
[In The Town of Hargeon]
Gray was sitting on the train and one of the officers came to him and said "Um sir. Where are your clothes?" while looking at him
"Dam it not again," Gray says as he quickly looked for his clothes like always.
"Does this happen all the time?" The officer asked Happy who was Gray's partner.
"Aye! This happens all the time" Happy says as he raises his left paw up.
"Where the hell is my shirt!?" Gray shouted as he looked for his shirt as he already found most of his clothes.
"Come on Gray, Let's go and get some food," Happy says as begins to walk off.
"Give me a sec as I am still looking for my shirt," Gray says as he was still looking.
"Yup Yup" Happy says as he was out of the train then he saw Gray looking at the train windows for his missing shirt. Then Happy heard (Katok Katak)
"!" was all Gray reaction.
"Ah!" As Happy begins to see the Train move Then he says, "The Trains Leaving" Happy says as Gray jumps out the window still shirtless.
"I will get a new shirt when we go nearly to the clothes shop," Gray says as he begins to walk with Happy "Let's go and get some food," Gray says with a smile, and Happy says "Aye Sir!"
[Scene changes to a Magical shop]
"Huh? You mean there's only one magic shop in town?!" Lucy asked the shop owner with annoyance.
"Yes... Well, this town has always had more fish buyers than magic buyers" The shop owner says then continued, " In fact, less than one-tenth of the people in town can use any magic at all. We mostly sell our items to travelling wizards these days."
"Aww! So, this whole trip was a big waste of time" Lucy says as she sighs with disappointment.
"Now, now! Don't be that way look around! We have many of the very latest magic items!" The shop owner says in a pleasing manner. "Is there anything you would like?" he asked.
"I am looking for a really powerful Gate key," Lucy says as she looked around.
"Ah, Gatekeys. Those are pretty rare." The shop owner says as he brought out a box full of silver Gatekeys. Which made Lucy walk and look at it.
"A white doggy Gate key!" Lucy says with excitement as she saw it.
"If you were looking for a powerful one that isn't one of them," The shop owner says with a sweat drop behind his head.
"Who cares, I've been looking for this one," She says with happiness in her voice then she asked, "How much is it?"
"20,000 Jewels," The shop owner says.
"No how much is it really?" Lucy asked again.
"Like I said 20,000 Jewels," the shop owner says.
"How much do you mean really," Lucy says as she bends down a bit to use her sex appeal to get the shop owner to bring the price down.
[Scene change]
"Tsk! He only comes down 1,000 jewels" Lucy says unhappily. Then she notices a lot of girls were running and gathering around "What's going on?"
"I can't believe it's a famous wizard who came to our town," One of the girls says and the other girl says "Salamander the fire dragon"
"Fire dragon?" Lucy says it to herself then she realizes "You mean someone who can use fire magic beyond anything you can find at a magic shop" She says as she claps her hands "And he is in town?" she says with a smile.
[Scene changes to Gray]
"Finally, I got myself a shirt to wear," Gray says with a sigh.
"Aye!" Happy says as he flies right beside Gray who was walking
"Salamander who uses Fire dragon magic is here" shouted one of the girls which got Gray's attention.
"Seems like someone using Natsu's old Nickname" Happy says as he and Gray went to where the Girls were gathering and Gray and Happy knew right away what's going on and who he is.
"Ice-Make: Prison" Gray shouted
Which made an ice prison around the fake Salamander who now was trapped in it.
"Bora the Prominence. You made a bad mistake using charm magic and using a name that is no longer used" Gray says as he looked at him and gestures Happy to get the Rune Knights.
Gray then freezes the charm magic ring on Bora's finger which destroyed it which means all the girls who were charmed are now freed and they all thanked him.
Lucy walks towards Gray and spoke "Um thanks for your help".
No problem," Gray says as he kept an eye on Bora who could not break out with his fire. "You know I used to get in a fight with Salamander all the time back in the guild. So, your fire won't affect my ice since I made sure it can handle hot temperature really well against normal fire mages" Gray says which made Bora just give up and Lucy saw the Runes knights come.
"They're here," Happy says as he flies back to Gray.
"Bora the Prominence used Charm magic on all the girls here and used someone else's identity as well," Gray says as the Rune knight recognized that name.
"Bora the Prominence You are under arrest for Slave trafficking and the used of charm magic," The commander rune knight says as the Rune knights took him away and he looked at Gray "Gray Fullbuster from Fairy Tail. We thank you for catching Bora. Here are some jewels as payment for stopping Bora," he says as he handed Gray 55,000 Jewels and walked away.
"Did he say you're from Fairy Tail?" Lucy asked with excitement.
"Yes. I am" Gray says wondering what she wants.
"I always wanted to join Fairy Tail." Lucy says then she asked, "Could you take me there?"
"Well, I would but me and Happy are hungry right now since we just came back from a mission and we decided to stop by and get something to eat," Gray says with a smile.
"How about this? I buy you two foods for saving me and You and that talking cat can take me to Fairy Tail to join" Lucy says as she hopes they would say yes.
"Okay" was all Gray said and Happy says "Aye!"
[7 hours later at Fairy Tail Guild]
"We're Back!" Gray shouted as he and Happy come in. Behind him was Lucy who look around with wide-open eyes.
"Gray clothes" Elfman shouted at Gray.
"When did that happen?" Gray shouted and Lucy's sweat drop behind her head as she wonders when did that happen as well.
"If you're a man enough maybe you would know," Elfman says to annoy Gray.
"What did you say, you giant beast," Gray says as he and Elfman begin to butting heads at each other.
"You heard me Ice striper," Elfman says as he and Gray begin to fight.
"Well, the moment Gray comes back the place becomes endangered right away," Natsu says, and Mirajane just agrees with him right away.
"It's falling apart already" Wakaba with a shocked expression.
"Someone stops Gray and Elfman," one of the members says then another says "Gyaak! Gray you" and so more members join the fight.
"It's incredible," Lucy says as she stares "I'm really here in Fairy Tail, huh?" She says with happiness.
"Hm? What a disturbing racket" Loke says as Lucy saw him.
"It's Loke! One of the top-ranking men for The Wizard I'd Like to Be My Boyfriend!" Lucy says as she remembers reading the weekly Sorcerer Magazine.
"Then are you going to enter the fray and teach them a lesson," Two girls say as they are hugging Loke?
Lucy collapsed to the ground and thought 'There goes another illusion' Then she spoke "Wh-What with this place? Isn't there a normal person in the whole place?"
"Oh! Are you new?" Mirajane says as she bends her knees to speak to Lucy.
Lucy's eyes shot up and she begins to get on her knees and saw Mirajane "M-Mirajane!" then she sits up with excitement "Eeep! It's you in person!" Lucy says in happiness then she saw the fight "Sh-Shouldn't you be stopping them?!" Lucy says as she pointed to the fight.
The fight was going crazy as people threw things at each other and a lot more people joined in it.
"This happens all the time. It's best to let it runs its course." Mirajane says as she stands back up with a smile.
"R-R-Really?" Lucy says with a sweat drop behind her head.
"Besides..." Mirajane says as Natsu came beside her and catches the bottle that was going to hit her and places it down. "It's more fun this way, don't you think" Mirajane smiles and looks at Natsu "Thanks for the save," she says.
"No problem, Mira," Natsu says with a small smile which still does worry Mira as she misses his normal smile and grin, which he used to give years ago before he used the taboo to save her and her siblings.
Then when the fight reaches climax people begin to use their magic.
"Magic?!" Lucy shouted with wide-open eyes and her sweat drops a lot more.
"Now this could be tricky," Natsu says as Mirajane agrees with him.
"This end here! Cut it out, You idiots!" Makarov shouted in his giant form.
"It's huuuuge!" Lucy says in shock.
Everyone in the guild stopped fighting right away when they heard his voice.
"Oh, you were watching Master!" Mirajane says while Natsu went to grab a broom and begins to clean up the mess.
"Master?!" Lucy says with shock.
"Hm? A new face?" Makarov says as he looked at Lucy.
"Y... Yes...?" Lucy says while shaking in fear.
"Gnuuuhh!" was the sound Makarov makes as he is using his magic and Lucy was shaking and begins to tear up in fear as he begins to shrink till, he was smaller than Lucy.
"Huh?!" Lucy was shocked to see the guild master so short.
"Nice to meet you," Makarov says as he jumps up to the second floor and hits his head which hurts him a bit then he stood up and shouted, "So you idiots have done it again! Look at all these letters I got from The Council!"
Lucy thought 'The Council? Isn't that the body that manages all the wizard Guilds' as she looks at Makarov?
"First Gray …..." Makarov says as he read all the letters about each complaint about each member of the guild which made them look down and ashamed "All of you done nothing but make the Council angry at me!" Makarov says as he trembles which scares Lucy "But... The Council can eat crap for all I care!" Makarov says with a smile and uses fire magic to burn the letters and throw them. Which luckily Natsu was nearby to pour water on it to get rid of the fire and looked at Makarov with a sharp stare. Makarov just sweat drops at himself for forgetting Natsu isn't a dragon slayer anymore so he can't eat fire and realised He nearly set fire to the Guild, but lucky Natsu has water nearby to get rid of the fire. Which a lot of guild members notice this too. "Now listen up, any power that surpasses reason, still comes from reason, right? Magic isn't some kind of miraculous power. It is a talent that only works when the flow of energy inside of us and the flow of energy in the natural world are in perfect synchronization. To perform magic, one must have a strong mind and the ability to focus. It should take over your being and come pouring out of your soul! If all we do is worry about following rules, then our magic will never progress. So don't let those idiots from the Council intimidate you! Follow the path you truly believe in! That is what it means to be a fairy tail wizard!" Makarov shouted and everyone was happy, but Makarov can still feel Natsu staring at him 'Why do I still get the eagle stares from him? I can see slits in his eyes' Makarov begins to sweat drop as he jumps down right next to Natsu.
"Here" was all Natsu said as he hands the broom to Makarov who took it and begins to clean the floor.
"He just made Master do the cleaning," everyone says with a sweat drop behind their head.
[Nighttime at the Guild]
Natsu walk to Lucy as she was about to get stamp as a member, but Natsu stop Mira.
"A celestial mage. Am I correct?" Natsu asked with an aura of authority which made people stop the party and looked at him.
"Y-Yes," Lucy says as she could swear, she can see slits in his eyes.
"What does Celestial Spirits mean to you?" Natsu asked and he also said "And don't lie because I can tell if you lie or not"
"Celestial spirits are my friends," Lucy says truthly as Natsu begins to have a small smile and the slit in his eyes are gone also the aura is gone.
Natsu lets Mirajane stamp her as a member of the guild "Good answer and welcome to the guild" Natsu says as he walks to Makarov and makes sure the guild master doesn't miss a single spot of dirt.
"What was that about?" Lucy asked Mirajane.
"Well, you see Lucy. Master may let anyone join but if you're a Celestial Mage which Natsu can tell as he sees the keys on you. Natsu will come over and ask you one question about you and your celestial spirit. If you fail, I don't even know what Natsu would do to you since you're the first celestial mage to join the guild" Mirajane says truthly as Lucy was the first Celestial mage to join the guild.
"Did you say Natsu as Natsu Dragneel The salamander who uses Fire dragon magic?!" Lucy asked Mirajane.
"Yes, and that would be Fire Dragon Slayer Magic which is lost magic. But he retired as a mage few years ago and now of days, He is just Natsu the Bartender of Fairy Tail or doing his other job" Mirajane says with a sad smile while not telling the new member the whole story before walking back into the kitchen.
Lucy walks to Gray "Look I got in" Lucy says as she shows him the guild mark on her hand.
"Good for you I guess," Gray says as he is tired.
"Aye Sir!" Happy says as well as He and Gray went home.
Well, that's the end of this chapter and I know some of you might find this chapter familiar with the old chapter 4 that was removed but since it was well written and just need some re-work, corrections and remove some boring details. I thought it should be fine and cleaner for people to read.
