"Well, that's pretty much 'Red's story' was there anything else." Paul rolled his eyes. "Are you joking?" Red just smirked.

"I want to know about the aura blades!"

Red stood up from his bed and looked Paul in the eye. "If I tell you, for one, it's quite a long story, for two, once you know, there will be a target on your back, once you know, you can't forget them, you'll always know what they are and how terrifying they are." Paul was steel, he'd be damned if he came this far and leave now. Red let out chuckle. "Fine. What do you know about the twin blades of poke-war?"

Paul was taken aback by the mention of a legend he read out in his childhood. "Well," He started unevenly. "They were pokemon, who died long ago, but they were unlike any other pokemon since they had such prowess with a blade, they each had their own, a blue one, for the sister, and a red one, for the brother. Um, that's really it." Paul just shrugged after his speech. "But everyone knows that tale is made up! Why you asking me about it?"

Red took his seat on the bed again and rested his chin on his palm. "What if I told you," You leaned in. "That it's real!?"

Paul shook his head in disbelief. "It's not! Quit yanking my chain and telling the truth!" His words etched with rage, he wanted to reach out and grab Ash and force it out of him.

Red laughed. "It's real, it's real! I swear, I'm not yanking yea." He then stared blankly at the roof of the RV with an unreadable expression. "I didn't believe it either, at first." The man met Paul's gaze with his own, a serious one. "That is, until I saw everything I seen." Paul just crossed his arms and wore a face that said, 'go on' so Red did. "The legend IS real, but, they got some of it wrong in the kiddy version you read. They weren't pokemon, they were human twin brother and sister." Paul's eyes went wide at this reveal, but didn't dare interrupt.

Ash closed his eyes to concentrate, to remember everything clearly. "I first found all of this in a book in the rainbow rocket library, it was in the restricted area, meaning only Giovanni could go there, but, I didn't care," Red let out an amused chuckle remembering the moment. "I think I was just bored that day. Anyway, I found the book titled "the true twin legend" I was intrigued so I popped it open, dust met my face, a sign it wasn't opened for a very long time, what I found written in the pages wasn't your average fairy tale. It was a tale of death, superiority, sibling fighting, rebirth and world destruction." Paul couldn't believe what he was hearing, he couldn't think of anything to say.

Red then stared up the tale in full glory. "It started with a pair of twins, one, a boy, raven black hair, strong, deep, brown eyes and an aptitude with heavier blades, heavy, like his burdens. The other, a girl, dark purple hair, black eyes that looked like a void, she was skilled with lighter blades, much like her outlook on life, everything was lighter to her. They would always compete, who was better, who was stronger. They would duel in the face of their father, who would cruelly judge the loser, whom was always the brother, no matter how strong he got, how much smarter or better, he would always lose to the sister, and get a beating and a shouting from his father. "You aren't good enough!" Were the words etched into his brain by his father. After all, the brother was the male heir, he had to be strong, he had to lead, this was one of his burdens. One day the twins were called to their fathers cambers, the sister was elated to get called upon by the father who loved her so, but the brother, was terrified. Anytime the father wanted him it was a beating, a breaking down of self-worth. But, when they both arrived, neither was beaten or lashed, but, was rewarded with a gift. A gift for each of them. The sister was given a smaller, swift blade with a blue hue, the girl was overjoyed, on the inside of course, lest she show her true emotions in front of her father. The brother was gifted a bigger, heavier blade, with a gleam of red. These gifts, these blades, are the aura blades. Something else missing from the version we knew was that the twins had a powerful aptitude for aura, but, what was even more amazing, was that they had different colors. The sisters were blue, like normal, or so you'd think, it was light, a lighter blue than your standard. And the brothers, was red. Many tried to theorize why their aura was so abnormal, some thought that it was a reflection upon themselves and others thought it was the opposite of who they are, of course, some saw no meaning behind it. But, as time went on for the twins, it was clear to see which theory was right. Years passed for the twins and they held many great accomplishments, both of them, they were herald as heroes. They saved many, helped even more. They were almost perfect... Until, their father was on his death bed. The twins rushed to his side when they had gotten word, in his last breaths he gave his art, his heritage, his home, his land, everything he owned, to the sister. The brother was given nothing. After his passing the sister decided to seal away the aura blades, lest they fall in the wrong hands, the brother agreed, at the time, that it would be best to lock them away, away with their father. So, they buried their father, where they also buried their mother, and buried the gift that he had once given them, along with him, all peacefully in the earth. If the story ended there it would be quite the happy ending, but, of course, that's not the end. Over time the brother and sister ruled over what land they processed, respectively. The sister ruled her land with love, kindness and a soft overlook, the people would say it was like they had a mother always watching over them. But the brother, he ruled his land with an iron fist. He would make his people work, even if they couldn't, he would compare the workers to each other and who was better would be rewarded, while the weak would be punished. It was just like he was raised, he just didn't notice. One day, a worker collapsed on the job and was taken by one of the guards, who was always watching the weaker work, to see the king, for his punishment. When the worker was face to face with the king, the brother, he pleaded with him to spare him, give him another chance. The brother then uttered the words that haunted him growing up, "You aren't good enough." He then ordered the guards to treat him to a lashing. As he heard the whip crack his widened in horror, realizing what he said, he said the words that he would kill to never hear again! He was like his father. But soon after this realization, he started to laugh, a hollow, creepy, terrifying, laugh. "I get it now." Was what he said as he continued to laugh. He seems to enjoy punishing his people, like his father punished him. His tyrannical and unloving lasted for years, his sister knew of his rule and was planning on speaking with him, that is, until she felt a shift in the aura of her land. She went to check the source of her lands aura, the aura blades and, as she feared, the red blade was gone, she knew where it was though, she took up her own, it felt wrong in her hands, but carried on. she paid a visit to her brothers domain, it was an oppressed, nasty place, workers forced to work until they died, some she saw pass on the job. She soon found her twin, blade in hand, delivering punishment by his own hands, she watched in horror as she saw her brother strike down a pleading man on his knees, his family held back by guards. "You aren't good enough." He coldly said watching him bleed out, drinking in the cries of his family, with a sick smile on his face. "Brother." The sister called out. The brother looks to see his sister, blade draw. "Ah, dear sister, what do I owe the pleasure?" He asked, his blade dripping with blood. "I wanted to leave you be, but, that seems impossible as of now, after all, you broke our accord." The women said, not looking at the monster that has taken her brother's body. The man laughed. "An accord I now see was forever in your favor!" The brother screamed, wiping off the blood. "If that is how you see it..." She pointed her blue blade at a person she loved. "Then this is unavoidable." She sounded somber. "It wasn't avoidable to begin with." The brother snarled, looking at a person he always envied and the other blade he desired. After that, a battle broke out, a battle that shook the plain. Brother and sister, twins, fighting to the death. The blue aura blade allowed the women to strike as if she disappeared and the inhuman like flurry that would follow would leave anyone died, not the brother, he was strong, built, the red blade let him see attack before they happened, if he looked into the blade, and crushing might of it would flatten anyone who would be hit, but, the sister would not be hit, just like their battles as children, the sister would always win, the brother would always lose, this cycle never broke. "H-How...?" The brother tried to crawl away from his sister, who towered over him. "I-I'm strong... BETTER!" He spit out, words of venom. The sister lightly chuckled. "Words like such or why we are here." The brothers rage filled out his whole, bleeding, body. "SHUT UP! YOU AND I, WE LIVED... completely different lives..." He was losing strength. The sister closed her eyes in regret. "I know, I'm sorry." She plunged her blade into him one last time, "I wanted... my world..." Was the last thing he said, before he died. The people cheered, but their savior was empty. She sealed away the aura blades for good with a heavy heart, hoping they would never be used again."

Paul didn't know what to say, other than. "Damn."

Red nodded his head. "Damn indeed. That is how the story went and ended. The real way."

"What did the brother want with her blade? What was this world he wanted." Paul asked, tapping his chin.

"No one knows what world he wanted, but, why he wanted the sisters blade is the same reason Giovanni wants both." Ash said, Paul, leaning in. "To create a new world."

Gary was sat in Brock's hospital room. He didn't know what else to do. Some might think it's boring, it was, but chatting it up with hot nurse Brock was assigned definitely made it a bit better. Speak of the devil, the door opened to reveal said hot nurse. "Hello again, Gary, still haven't left?" She was a mature woman, maybe a few years older than Gary, he liked that though, her boobs had to be at least D, he thought as he watched her do her job, she had shoulder length black hair and looked perfect in her nurse uniform, it hugged all the right places. "You know, just worried about my friend." He said trying to sound cool. The nurse laughed at him, he wasn't sure if that was a good sign or not. "Don't worry, he should be fine." She said, with a smirk Gary didn't see.

Makoto stood in a dark office he was all too familiar with, he was here with a question for the man who owned it. "May I come in sir?" He asked.

Giovanni spun his chair around and with the slightest of smiles he said. "Of course, Makoto, what is it?"

The boy took the seat across from his leader, he couldn't tell you how many times he sat in this chair. "It's about Jillia, sir. Neither I nor Seifer have seen her as of late."

"Ah, yes." Giovanni stood up to look out his large window. "I forgot to tell you, Jillia was needed back here." He looked at Makoto, wanting to see his reaction. "For questioning."

The dark haired member slammed the desk. "Why would you need to question her!?" He views Jillia as his little sister he had to protect, so sometimes that feeling over power him.

"She was seen conversing with Red." Giovanni plainly said, unfazed by Makoto.

"So? I talk to him too!"

"It is your mission to talk to him. Not Jillia's." He explained, not even looking at the boy anymore, his window was much more interesting.

Makoto gritted his teeth. "Let me guess, they were talking about the aura blades." He didn't know much about them, not as much as Red, but more than Seifer or Jillia, he knew Giovanni wanted them, not why though.

"Correct." He smiled. "You know how much I hate talk of them, especially from Red." He mumbled that last part. "She then told me she believed the lies that Red put into her head and, well, I wasn't happy."

"What did you do to her!?" Makoto's anger reaching the highest it's ever gotten.

"Don't worry, she is okay, not dead, I need her after all." He eased Makoto down. "She just needed to stop talking."

Makoto was confused. "Stop talking?"

I think this is where I'm gonna end it for this chapter, I know it's shorter than others, I'm sorry, but next chapter is gonna be BIG! Start of the end game. I want this story to have around 15 chapters, maybe, somewhere around there. So yeah, read my other story if you want to, I think it's good. See you later, friends of fanfiction!
