No One's Pov
The Vks was in Remedial Goodness 101 with the rest of the Vks. They wore outfits that match up with their Vk color
The class was caught my the Fariy Godmother and I was taking notes but last night events were still on my mind.
"If someone hands a crying baby do you (A.) Cruse it, (B.) Lock it a tower, (C.) gave it a bottle or (D.) Crave out its heart?" Fairy Godmother asked us.
Then Evie raised her hand up to answer the question and the Fairy Godmother pointed at her."Evie."
"What was the second one again?" Evie asked.
"Oh ok anyone else ?" The Fairy Godmother asked.
I was drawing a picture of the wand.
"Mal?" The Fairy Godmother called me.
"C. Gave it a bottle." Mal answered.
"Correct again." The Fairy Godmother said with a smile.
"You are on fire girl." Carlos commented.
"I just chose the one that doesn't sound like any fun." Mal said as The Vks nodded in agreement.
Then a girl with brown hair and in a blue dress came she was scurried pass us as she headed towards the Fairy Godmother.
"Hello dear one." Fairy Godmother greeted the girl."
"Hi, you need to sign off an early dismissal for the coronation." She said as she hands The Fairy Godmother a clipboard.
"Everyone remembers my daughter Jane?" Fairy Godmother asked.
"Mom!" Jane hissed as she stare at us.
"Its okay Jane this is everyone. " The Fairy Godmother said as she handed her the clipboard and guided her forward.
Jane stepped forward hesitantly "Hi don't mind me as you were."
Jane soon left as Mal had a plan in mine as Fairy Godmother continues the lesson.
"You find a vial of poison do you? (A.) Put it in the king's wine, (B.) Paint on an apple, or (C.) Turn it over to the proper authorities?" The Fairy Godmother asked.
Both Jay and Carlos both raise their hands and Jay puts Carlos's hand done as Fairy Godmother picks Jay.
"C. You turned it in over to the proper authorities." Jay answered as he smirked triumphantly.
"I was gonna say that." Carlos scowled.
"Oh but I said it first." Jay said in a mocking voice.
Mal was just disappointed at their behavior acting like children as Evie looking at her makeup with her magic mirror
"Boys!" The Fairy Godmother yelled as they froze and they looked at her.
"I would encourage you to use that energy on the Tourney Field." She explained as Carlos shook his head.
"That's okay whatever that is we'll pass." Carlos said.
Soon the bell rung as the Vks went to each respective Clases
There was soon laughter coming from Chad and Audrey then Chad stopped and got Ben's attention as he pointed at the Vks.
"Those kids are trouble." Chad stated.
Mal and Evie exchange goodbyes as Ben replied."Come on Chad give them a chance.
Mal watched as Audrey grabbed Ben's hands.
"No offense Benny Bear, but you're just too trusting. I know that your mom fell in love with a big nasty beast that turned out to be a prince, but with my mom the evil fairy is just the evil fairy that girl's mother and Kai is acting strange I mean he always wearing that scarf" Audrey explained.
"Well I think you're wrong about them I'll see you around." Ben said.
Then Ben came up to Mal and smiled as he leaned against the locker."Hey."
"Hey." Mal replied back as she shut her locker door.
"How was your first day?" Ben inquired.
Mal leaned against the locker and put on a fake smile. "Super."
Ben looked at Mal's locker and saw the artwork of Maleficent with 'Long live Evil on it.'
"You should really think about taking this talent off the lockers and into art class I could sign you up." Ben suggested.
Mal watched Jane scurry past into the girl's restroom before turning her attention to Ben."Way to take the fun out of it." She said as she took her leave and entered the girl's restroom.
Mal saw Jane looking at the mirror.
"Hi it's Jane right? I always loved that name Jane." Mal smiled as she looked at Jane who had a look of fear on her face.
"That's cool." Jane replied as she moved towards the door.
"Don't go! I guess I was hoping to make a friend but I bet you already have all the friends you want." Mal explained.
Jane sighed."Hardly."
"Really?" Mal questioned ."I mean with your mom being Fairy Godmother and Headmistress not to mention your own, um own, personality."
Mal gave a fake laugh as Jane sighed again."I'd rather be pretty, you got great hair."
A plan soon formed in Mal's head as she pulled out her spell book "You know what I have just the thing for you."
Mal flipped through her spell book and waved her finger in the air once she found the spell."Beware for swear, replace the old with brand new hair."
Mal cast the spell and Jane's hair grew. She now had long dark brown hair with curls which she admired in the mirror in awe.
"Wow." Mal complimented."You don't even notice your...other features anymore. "
Jane turned towards her excitedly tapping on her nose. "Do my nose."
Mal sighed. "Oh I can't. I wish I could, I have been practicing but you know I can't do big magic. Not like your mom! With her wand! I mean one swoosh from that thing and you could probably have whatever features you wanted."
Jane frowned."She doesn't use the wand anymore. She believes that real magic is in the books and not the spell books, regular books with history and stuff."
Mal laughed. "What a rip."
"Yeah." Jane sighed.
"You know she used the wand on Cinderella who wasn't her real daughter." Mal reminded her. "Doesn't she even love you?"
Jane nodded solemnly. "Of course she does. It's just, you know, tough love, work on the inside not the outside.You know that sorta thing."
Jane had a sad longing expression on her face and Mal pointed it out excitedly. "That's the face! Yeah! and then just look as if your heart is about to break. Oh mother, I just don't understand why you can make me beautiful too?"
Jane broke into a grin. "Do you think it will work?"
Mal nodded. "Yeah I mean that's what old Cindy did and your mother bibbty bobbity boo the living daylights out of her! Oh hey if your mom does to break out the old wand invite me I just think it would be inspirational."
Jane smiled excitedly. "If I can convince mom you're so in."
Then Jane picked up her purse and they exchanged good byes as Jane then left the girl's restroom.
Mal's Pov
I was walking out of the girl's restroom and I saw Kai along with Chad and his friends as they were bulling him as one of them knock his books out of his hands and pushed him against the lockers and Chad was asking Kai to fight back but Kai just gave an angry look as he placed his hand on the locker as I soon took out my spellbook as I casted a spell as a swarm of rats appeared and scared off Chad and his friends away as I walked up to Kai as I offered my hand and he looked at me for a moment and took it and he stood up and I saw claw marks on the locker.
Then he try to hide his hand from me and I grabbed his wrist and saw claws on his fingertips and I looked at him.
"What are you?" I asked.
Then Kai broke my grip on his wrist and ran off.
"No no wait!" I called out.
I soon ran after him as I followed him into the woods as I soon find myself alone them I heard footsteps and there was Kai standing there with his Fiddler Cap on his head.
"What are you?" I asked.
"I'm just a human." Kai replied.
"A human doesn't have reptile like claws and have dorsal plates on their back and shoot out blue fire outta their mouths." I retorted as Kai just looked at me.
"Were you cursed by some evil witch or sorcerer?" I asked as Kai just kept his head down.
"So that's why your here to find some girl to give you a true love kiss is that it? We'll maybe some no good pretty pink princess in this school would probably help you break that spell." I said as I was about to walk away having enough of the mystery that is Kai.
Then I felt my arm being grabbed as I trun around and I saw Kai looking at me.
"I am not cursed I have inherited this power from my father the only thing that have ever care about me in this damn world." Kai said.
"Then whose your father that guy who drove you here?" I asked.
"No that is Shaw he is a fisherman he's a friend and been looking after me as we looked for my father." Kai answered.
"Who's your father some hero perhaps?" I asked but Kai shook his head no. "Villain?" I asked again but he shook his head no again.
"My father is a Force of Nature, A God and a King , Shaw believes if the world found out about my abilities and whose adopted son I was... They'll reject me outta fear and they'll preformed experiments on me." Kai said as he let go of my arm.
"Well why don't you fight back against bullies?" I asked as Kai just looked away.
"Ok, look you need a friend to watch your back and since I know some of your abilities I can keep your secret if I could be your friend." I said.
Kai just looked at me as I extend my hand out as Kai looked at me with our eyes meeting each other as he took my hand and we shook hands as he nodded as we headed back to the school.
