It was chemistry class and Evie and Doug were sitting next to each other while Evie was staring at Chad dreamily.
Evie turned to Doug and sighed."Any chance he's in line for a throne? Anywhere in line?"
Doug gave her a deadpan look. "Chad Prince Charming Junior, Cinderella's son. Chad inherited the charm but not there, there you know what I mean?" Doug asked.
Evie ignored him as she continued to stare at Chad. "Looks like there, there to me."
The teacher, Mr. Delay, noticed her inattentive. "Evie perhaps this is just a review for you. So tell me what is the average atomic weight of silver?" Mr Delay asked.
Evie twirled her hair and looked around."Atomic weight? Well I mean it's an atom right?"
Everyone chuckled but Mr. Delay was not impressed and addressed her to go to the board. Evie got up and grabbed her magic mirror before walking up to the board with the chalk in hand as she repeated the question out loud. "How do I find the average atomic weight of silver?"
Evie glanced down at her mirror as it showed her the answer."That would be 106.905 .5200 108.905 .4800 which Mr. Delay would give us 107.6 amu."
Mr. Delay sighed."I forgot always to mistake to underestimate--"
"A Villain? Don't make it again." Evie finished for him as he tossed him the chalk.
She soon headed back to her seat and Chad handed her a note asking her to meet him behind the bleachers as she looked at him and smiled.
Mal's Pov
I was in my bed drawing while Evie was making a new dress for herself.
Then Jane came in and informed us of her failed attempt to get her mom to use the wand to make her beautiful.
"Mom said 'if a boy can't see the beauty within then he is not worth it.' Can you believe it? What world does she live in?" Jane groaned.
"Auradon." I signed.
"Mal do you like ?" Evie asked as she was showing me the dress.
"Yeah it's cute, brings out your eyes." I replied, before going back to my sketching.
Evie smiled as she admired her work."I know."
Jane sighed deeply falling on the bed."I'll never get a boyfriend."
"Boyfriends are overrated." I huffed as I rolled my eyes.
Evie looked up from her sewing and stared at me."And how would you know Mal? You never had one."
"That's because I don't need one E." I shot back before turning to Jane."They're a huge waste of time."
Evie gasped as she shot up from her desk and rushed over to a brown backpack I have never seen before."I forgot to do Chad's homework."
"See what I mean." I replied to Jane gesturing to Evie.
Then we heard a knock on our open door and a girl with black hair and pink top dress with a light blue skirt came in.
"Hi guys I'm Lonnie." She introduced herself. "My mom's Mulan."
I just stared at her blankly and she waved her hand dismissively."Anyway I love what you did with Jane's hair and know you hate us and well your evil but you think you do mine?" Lonnie asked.
"Why would I do that for you?" I asked not bothering to look up from my sketch.
"I got fifty dollars." Lonnie replied as he pulled out her money.
Evie grabbed the money and started to explain what she would do but Lonnie cut her off."Actually I want it cool like Mal."
Evie rolls her eyes."Really, the split ends too?"
I gave her a deadpan look as I grabbed my spell book. "Beware forswear, replace the old with cool hair." I said as I wave my finger casting the spell.
Lonnie's hair grew out and she walked to the mirror and looked at herself studying it closely. Evie soon walked over and placed hands on Lonnie's shoulders. "I know, I know it looks like a mop on your head. You know what let's cut it off layer it-" Evie said before Lonnie cut her off.
"No I love it." Lonnie said.
"You do?" Evie asked in surprise.
"It's just..." Lonnie's voice trailed off as she ripped the end of her skirt. "Now I'm cool."
"Like Ice." I replied.
Jane walked over to the mirror and she ripped the end of her skirt as well when she realized what she did she covered her mouth in shock."What did I just do Mom's gonna kill me!"
Kai's Pov
I soon at the edge of shores of the Enchanted River as I walking through the woods thinking about what Mal had said to me as I looked at the water as I felt of swimming in it just like I did in the Ocean with Godzilla I soon placed my scarf in my pocket and I divided into the water.
As I soon swim underwater as I let my tail go as a swim like Godzilla as I soon enter the Enchanted lake as I went to the surface of the water
I soon reached some part of a Roman style ruin.
I soon sat there as I got my scarf around my neck covering my gills as looked up at the sky remembering Godzilla.
Flashback No One's Pov
Kai was ten years old as he was exploring the Temple as he look at drawings of Dagon battling MUTO Prime.
As he looked at the drawing and at the other he then looked over to Godzilla who was asleep and he tap on the big guy's nose to get him up.
"Papa?, Why am I different from the other Titans?" A Young Kai asked.
The Godzilla then lifted his hand up and lifted Kai's chin up and looked him into his eyes as if he was saying "You are no different my son for you are special" as Kai hugs Godzilla as he fell asleep in the Monster's hand as Godzilla soon went back to sleep.
End of Flashback
Kai soon stood up as his right hand became a fist as he was more determined to find Godzilla now more than ever before as he made his way back to Auradon Prep.
No One's Pov
Vks soon regroup with each other in Mal and Evie's dorm as Mal was flipping through her spell book as Evie was doing Chad's homework and Carlos was petting Dude the campus mutt.
Then Jay came in and showed them his new jersey as the Vks with the exception of Jacob congrats him as he walked to Mal.
"So did your plan with Jane work your gonna see the wand?" Jay asked.
Mal huffed and slammed her spell book on the bed. "Do you think that I would be going through every spell in this book if I didn't completely strike out?"
"Someone is in a mood." Carlos muttered.
Then Mal sent him a warning glare."My Mom's counting on me and I can't let her down."
"We can do this." Jay said as they looked at him."If we stick together."
Mal nodded. "And we can't go back until we do because we're Rotten--."
"To the core." The Vks finished for her.
Evie sighed."Oh yeah I found out that Fairy Godmother blesses Ben with the wand at Coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear of course."
Mal just stare at her and Evie stare back in confusion."What?"
Then there was a knock on the door. "Hold that thought." Mal said as he got up to open the door.
Mal opened the door and it was Ben on the other side.
"Hey Mal I didn't see you guys today I was wondering if you had any questions that you needed ?" Ben asked.
"No not that I know of." Mal answered.
Ben nodded. "Okay alright well uh anything you need just-"
"Oh wait." Mal blurted out cutting Ben off."Is it ture we all get to go to your Coronation?"
"Yeah the whole school goes." Ben answered.
"Wow that is beyond exciting." Mal responded enthusiastically. "Do you think that its possible that the four of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother just so we can soak up all that goodness?"
Ben's expression fell."I wish I could but up front is just me, my folks and my girlfriend, Kai and a guest of his choice."
"Kai and a guest of his choice?" Mal asked just to clarify what Ben just said.
"Yeah It could be his girlfriend but I don't think he has one I'm sorry." Ben replied solemnly.
"Okay thanks bye." Mal replied before shutting the door on Ben.
Then she turned to The Vks.
"I think its time for Kai to get himself a girlfriend, I need a love spell." She said.
Carlos tossed her the spell book and Mal grinned as she flipped through the pages for the love spell.
It was midnight and The Vks were in the kitchen preparing the love spell.
"Alright it says we still need one tear." Mal sighed as she stirred the cookie batter with the love potion in a bowl."And I never cry."
Carlos shrugged. "Let's chop up some onions."
Mal shook her head."No, It says that we need one drop of human sadness and this love potion gets the best reviews so we have to follow it exactly."
Jay soon rolled his eyes."A tear's a tear."
"That's not ture Jay, they both have antibodies and enzymes but an emotional tear has more protein based hormones than a reflex tear." Evie explained.
Mal smiled. "Listen to you."
Jay huffed. "Yeah I knew that."
"No you didn't." Carlos muttered just as a girl with long black hair came in.
I soon got Carlos attention and I point at the girl and he told me the girl's name is Lonnie.
"There you are Mal I was looking for you." Lonnie smiled as Mal covered up her spell book. "You know all the girls want you to do their hair."
Lonnie walked over and looked into the bowl Mal was mixing her ingredients in.
"Midnight snack huh? " What are you guys making?" Lonnie asked.
Mal shrugged."Nothing special just cookies."
Lonnie dipped her finger into the bowl and tasted it as the Vks were beginning to freak out as she stared at them confused.
"What? I'm not going to double dip." Lonnie said.
Evie studied her closely. "Feel anything?"
"Yeah like it's missing something." Mal added.
Jay then sauntered over to her and leaned on a pole seductive.
"Hey there." Jay said flirting with Lonnie.
Lonnie just looked at him before turning her attention back to Mal and Evie."Could use some more chips."
Lonnie walked over to the refrigerator and pulled out a small bowl while the Vks were confused and were also breathing a sigh of relief.
"And those are?" Mal asked.
Chocolate chips, just the most important food group." Lonnie replied as she placed the bowl on the table and grabbed a handful and put it into Mal's mixture."Wait didn't your mom ever make you guys chocolate chip cookies?"
The Vks just stare at her as she continues."Like when you're feeling sad and there's fresh from the oven with a big ol' glass of milk and she makes you laugh and puts everything into perspective and--"
Lonnie trailed off when she saw that I and the Vks were staring at her with sad looks on our faces.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Lonnie asked.
Mal sighed." Its just different where were from."
"Yeah I know I thought even villains loved their kids." Lonnie replied as the Vks still showd her the same expression.
"How awful." Lonnie said as she grabbed a hold of Mal's hand as a tear was coming down her cheek.
Mal then caught the tear that was running down her face and placed it in the bowl.
"Yeah, well big bummer but we have to get these into the oven so thank you so much for coming by." Mal replied as she guided Lonnie towards the door. "See you tomorrow evil dreams."
"Goodnight." Lonnie called over her shoulder as she ducked out of the kitchen.
Once she was gone Mal clapped her hands together and got back to business."Okay! Boys cookie sheets, Evie oven." Mal ordered as everyone nodded.
