Chapter 5: A visitor
Aelita had no idea where she was. Yumi and Odd had gone missing and Jeremy was on holiday. Someone came into her room. He was a well dressed individual of a certain rank, possibly a commander.
"Aelita Schaefer?" he asked. Aelita nodded and he gave her a note along with a ribbon.
"All teams are to assemble on your work, Phoenix and Thunder are ready to shock in when told.
"I don't understand" said Aelita, "Is this a dream?"
The man smiled and took off his clothes to reveal a blazing sword and holy armor.
"You are to lead our armies for the coming war. The Marker signal must be destroyed. The Dino Hybrid you killed was just the first mutation that the Liandra corporation made. We have been working undercover for years but have made no breakthroughs. You have Heaven's support and these creatures are so evil that even Hell has pledged allegiance for the time being. Both armies will mass at Kadic. Ammon and Maria have a special role to play in the battle, keep them on the ship but give Maria this note. She'll know what it means. As for the rest, wire the bridge to blow at the last possible second. The one you call XANA is leading a spearhead in the south, near the Atlantic ocean. Germany and Russia are holding but the Fallen are too much. You are now Commander Aelita of the 1st guards army. Make us proud."
Aelita woke up, just as the first gun went off and went into the scanner.
