8. Chapter 8: Wrath of the Heavens

Dark Harvest Chapter 6: Wrath of the Heavens

Yumi ran into the nearest building and grabbed two screaming kids. Their faces were bleeding from shrapnel. A second bomb went off and Odd tackled a necromorph to the ground, smashing it to paste with whatever implements were on hand.

"YUMI GET DOWN!" he cried as a rocket sailed past her.

"This is Dagger 2-7, We're facing necromorph pods, civilians trapped near kadic. For the love of fuck, we need artillery support!"

Silence for the longest time as Yumi bought the near catatonic children to the shuttle

Aelita's eyes shone like fire and her hands became white hot. She shouted with the voice of the legion

"CEASE!"

The fighting stopped and the necromorphs ceased to move. They became as stone as Aelita was lifted into the air, her wings taking on a hellfire red.

"BOW!"

Everything took a knee.

"YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE! GO HOME!"

The necromorphs failed move and left, the flood refused.

"We have one master Angel filth!"

A flaming sword smashed into the ground and Angels cut the flood to ribbons. The survivors made for Gravemind but the monster was impaled and great torrents of blood covered the area.

Aelita whisked the survivors away and a great flash cleared the area. Amid the screams and shouts of pain, they discerned two words.

"WE REFUSE!"

Yumi and Odd stood slack jawed as Aelita drew a flaming sword and tortured the flood.

"WHO SENT YOU? SPEAK!"

The flood refused

"TELL ME!" she said, sending the sword into their brains. more screams

"INCINERATE THE OTHERS!"

Angels burned all but one flood form to death, denying them resurrection

The final form began laughing maniaclly as more ships shocked into Kadic

"We are here Angel, we have come"

Aelita beheaded the flood form and sent what could only be described as the wrath of god towards the ships. Screaming followed by a domino effect of disabled ships followed. The doors opened and a massive torrent of blood oozed out. Their dead bodies were stacked on top of one another and their faces were contorted in looks of agony for the Angels had shown their true faces: Agents of death, administrators of Judgement. Aelita among them.

She turned to the others and fell unconscious.

"Where am i?, Why Am I not on Lyoko?" she asked

The others were speechless. Kadic was in ruins, there were numerous dead bodies, children all of them and the head of Liandra corp was impaled through the forehead by a metal pole.

"Jeremy, initate a Return to the past, I know we can't bring back the dead but do it, please!"

Jeremy went to the factory and input the RTTP
