Chapter 3: Jeremy
"Mashed Potato surprise and the surprise is meatballs!"
Jeremy looked at Odd in a annoyed way. Odd was always stuffing his face in every way possible but never seemed to gain an inch. The nurse Yolanda was always telling him to eat more but he gained less and less.
"Odd, you've eaten like six plates already, give it a rest!" cried the others. Yumi had barely gotten to eat and Aelita was starving. The best she could do was grab a croissant from the kitchen.
The others glared at him as Odd lowered the plate, smiling.
"The rest of us have NOT EATEN!" Yumi growled. She was beginning to get antsy and Aelita looked like she was about to murder him.
Jeremy took the others outside and Odd was confused.
"Ok, he ate all our plates, we haven't got anything to eat. We go to Lyoko, we get a pizza after, Odd is left out, Agreed?"
The others nodded.
Meanwhile Odd had wandered off to go check on Kiwi. Something moved from the shadows.
"KIWI?" Odd yelled. No response. Odd could hear a yelp and ran to his dorm. Kiwi was fine at first glance but Odd knew something was up.
"Come to me, I bought you something" said Odd, procuring a meatball.
Kiwi yelped again and sprang for the meatball...and fell into thirds on the ground, bleeding.
He yelped in pain still going for the meatball and died.
"NO KIWI!" yelled Odd.
He ran back to the Lunch room but the others had left.
He ran to the factory and saw the gang with a Pizza
"Guys, I need to tell you something, it's ur-"
Odd vomited and dry heaved as the others watched in disgust
"Kiwi- He- He-, He's dead Cut into cubes! This isn't a joke!"
The others laughed, except for Aelita who went to the computer and checked the camera feed.
"Nope, he's alive, see?"
Odd went to the camera and saw Kiwi up and about.
"Bu-Bu-B-" Odd stuttered
"it's another stupid prank of your Odd" Said Ulrich
"Guys, he's right, come here"
The others gasped as they saw the dead body of Kiwi being absorbed by some alien like substance.
"Check for active towers" said Yumi
Jeremy checked, none were active
"What could this mean?" she said
The lights went out and the elevator stopped working
Something could be heard in the vents. Tiny bloodied strands inched their way to the floor and reformed into Kiwi.
"Mother Of God" said Yumi, Crossing herself.
"Kiwi?" said Odd fearfully
The others watched as a massive Dino ripped it's way out of Kiwi and stepped out
"Get to the scanners!" cried Jeremy
The others hurried down the ladder as fast as they could but Jeremy was stabbed in the gut before he could do so. With the last of his strength, he set the virtualization process and died. Now a ghost, he glared at the creature and burrowed deep into it's soul and ripped it in half.
"Let Me back into my body!" he yelled as more creatures filled the room"
Angels came down.
"We will hold them off, you're wounds are healed. Now get out of here! God is sending forth a plague that will kill all in Kadic!"
Jeremy came back to life and ran for the scanners.
"where's Jeremy" asked Aelita
Jeremy virtualized and the others gasped
"A war is coming, take these"
Yumi was tossed a shotgun, Ulrich got a pair of Uzis and Odd and Aelita both got sniper rifles.
"We head north, to the tower then into the network. We are to head for the US and link up with the army"
Aelita looked at Jeremy with shock and awe.
"What then?"
Jeremy looked at Aelita with fire and said
"Kadic is to be sterilized, We are no longer on the defensive. Much of the EU is now at war with a global threat, codename Black Fang. Now Move!"
The next day The Army moved into the area.
