Ryustin: You could make Melissa receive One for All(since there's consequences if Togata get One for All)and make her befriend Izuku.

Interesting idea, I'm still not sure what to do with OFA, but I'll definitely keep this suggestion in mind, thanks for the comment :)

Squaretree: Great start! Is Izuku going to be a vigilante or a U.A. student?

Vigilante name idea: Kid Arachnid

Hero name idea: Green Spider

Thank you! :D

I intend to send him to the U.A.

I already have some names saved, but thanks for the suggestion :)

Chapter 02 - Understanding Powers

The next day, Izuku was in his room, checking up on his hero analysis notebook. Why? After his trip to the hospital, he wrote his own page, writing down everything he discovered during the consultation.

Hero Analysis for the Future Vol.13

User: Midoriya Izuku

Quirk: Spider; It gives me the ability to do almost everything a spider can, I can't lay eggs, luckily.

Current Powers

We weren't able to ascertain the full capacity of my quirk, but we speculated some things.

Strength: Because I am basically a human spider, my physical strength needs no comment. I did a small test at the hospital, but nothing absurd, so I don't know the full extent of my strength. If I follow the logic of spiders, I could lift a weight of approximately seven tons.

Durability and Speed: Significantly improved, I didn't do any specialized tests, but I ran on a treadmill in the hospital for 20 minutes at high speed, all without losing my breath.

Agility: Another improvement, again, I didn't do specialized tests, but following the logic of spiders, which are agile by nature, so…. Yeah.

Adherence: I can stick to certain surfaces, just like spiders, but in a specific way, through electrostatics, this would allow me to stick to the locations easily, even when wearing something.

Spider-Senses: A kind of premonition of danger, it warns me when I'm in imminent danger, or when I'm about to get hurt, that's what I noticed.

Healing Factor: Apparently, I have a healing factor, I don't know its maximum capabilities, but Doctor Ogura theorizes that I can recover a broken arm in 24 hours, not that I want to test it.

Web Production: My wrists have developed web-producing organs similar to those of spiders, they are stronger than steel, but they last a long time after they leave my body, like spiders… So, I need to go on a regular diet of certain ingredients to reduce its durability, but not its strength and elasticity. I haven't been able to shoot any webs yet, but I plan to test it soon.

While watching his page, Izuku couldn't help but feel elated, he finally got his quirk, a powerful one at that, it seems his luck smiled on him this time, holy spider. With these thoughts, the boy goes to have breakfast and then go to school.

ALDERA JUNIOR HIGH

Izuku was in his classroom, at his usual desk, watching his classmates enter and settle down, and also, as always, barely giving him a look, until he arrived.

A boy with ash blond hair walked rudely through the door, he was around 1.72m tall, with an athletic build, although not very apparent, given his loose clothes, and most importantly, furious red eyes, which at this moment were inspecting the entire classroom, probably in search of his prey, which he eventually found.

Izuku didn't even need to look to know who was in front of him, his new senses already warned him of the imminent danger.

"Deku! Did you decide to show your face? I thought you had given up on everything." The blonde said, smiling mockingly.

Izuku let out a tired sigh.

"Hi Katc-Bakugo, how can I help you?" The greenish asked, not even looking at him, which apparently irritated the blonde.

"You won't even look me in the eye while you despise me?! You bastard!" Bakugo asked, furious, and still so early in the morning.

Izuku didn't feel like putting up with his ex-friend's bravado.

"Look, I don't want to fight, okay? Why don't you go to your corner and leave me alone? Everyone wins." With courage Izuku didn't know he had, he dismissed the blonde, much to his disbelief.

For a moment, Katsuki didn't say a word, shocked by the answer.

'Who does this Deku think he is?! Nobody talks to me like that!' Katsuki thought, his anger increasing by the second.

"DEKU! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! WANT ME TO BLOW YOUR QUIRKLESS ASS ONE MORE TIME?!" Shouted the blonde, angrier than ever, which ended up scaring the greenish.

'Oh no...' That was Izuku's thought, already accepting that he would get an explosion in the face, but he was saved by the teacher, who decided to appear at that exact moment.

"Good morning, everyone sit down, it's time for class." Said the teacher, heading to the blackboard.

Katsuki just glanced at Izuku, before hissing...

"You're dead."

Izuku could only swallow hard, had to find a way to get away from this fight.

When lunch time arrived, Izuku looked like he was running away from a murderer, and in this case, any similarity is purely coincidental. The greenish crept towards the refectory, looking over his shoulder every five seconds, and peering around the corners of the walls before turning into a corridor.

'What the hell am I doing, I feel like I'm a villain running away from a bunch of heroes.' Thought the boy, finally arriving at the refectory, however...

As soon as he opened the doors to the place, everyone looked at him and then gossiped with their friends. One of the things he could hear was: Bakugo, furious, fighting. Surely Bakugo is looking for him, this won't be pretty...

Eating lunch more eager than ever in his life, trying his best to go unnoticed by others, his spider-sense became present.

"Spider-Sense is tingling" Izuku whispered, and then he saw a very familiar blonde coming towards him in the distance "Damn…"

Izuku got up immediately and headed towards the exit, and when he was about to open the door, Bakugo stepped in front of him, making him stop on the tracks.

"Did you really think you were going to run away from me, Deku?! I said you are dead!" Shouted the blonde, positioning himself for an attack.

Izuku was sweating like he was in a sauna, his spider-sense going off in his head.

"W-Wait Bakugo, can't we solve it another way?!" The greenish still tried to appeal, but…

"NO WAY YOU FUCKING NERD!" Shouted the blonde, going on the attack.

I don't think it worked.

As the explosive blonde approached, his spider-sense came into action, just like in the bathroom, everything around him became slow, Izuku saw Katsuki extending his right hand, when his arm came into range, the greenish didn't even think, he just acted on instinct, grabbing the arm with his left hand, he moved forward and grabbed the blonde's underarm, and then applied a basic Judo strike that he had seen once, the Ippon.

Izuku threw Katsuki over his shoulder, making the blonde hit the ground abruptly with his back, to the shock and surprise of everyone around, who saw the violent Bakugo struggling for air.

Izuku, seeing what he had done, almost smiled proudly, almost, but he remembered that the blonde wanted his skin, so he decided to leave the place as quickly as possible, and luckily he went unnoticed by everyone, who were still watching Katsuki struggling on the floor.

Back to the explosive blonde on the floor, his mind was a war zone, he still couldn't believe the nerd had taken him down.

'Damn Deku, how did he do that?! He was...just useless...quirkless...' Katsuki thought, still struggling to breathe, and still felt a pain in his back.

Standing up slowly, still dazed, he looked around, looking for the nerd, but only saw the other extras looking at him with those look, that damn look!

'Are you okay, Katchan?'

'Grrr!' The blonde mentally growled "DEKU! GET BACK HERE YOU COWARD!" Shouted Katsuki, but soon winced in pain, it seemed like he would have to go to the infirmary.

Back with Izuku, he was already in class, sitting with his head down at his desk, just thinking about what just happened.

'I shouldn't have done that, I know he started it all, but I couldn't have... I don't even know the damage I caused.' Izuku thought, martyring himself.

It was at this moment that he heard some students walk through the door, and what they said scared him.

"Did you guys hear that Bakugo went to the infirmary?" An unknown boy asked his classmates.

"No, what happened to him?" This time it was a girl.

"It looks like he got into a fight with Deku, they said Deku landed a blow that fractured some of Bakugo's ribs." The same voice as before responded.

"Damn! Deku knew how to do this?!" Another boy said, and it was the last thing Izuku heard.

Izuku was stunned, staring into space.

'I fractured his ribs…'

After school, Izuku was in his room, sitting at his desk, thinking about today's fight.

"It can't happen again…" The boy murmured "I need to control my quirk." He said once again, now with a determined look.

With the new objective, he turned on the computer and started searching for some isolated places where he could train his quirk.

"Right…It looks like there is a forested area in the region, it says no one goes there…I'll take a look tomorrow."

The next day, taking advantage of the fact that there were no classes, the greenish one decided to go to the abandoned forest, it wouldn't take long, it was about thirty minutes from his house.

Arriving there, he confirmed what he had read, there was not a single living soul in that place, perfect for training and going unnoticed.

'Great, I just have to find a good spot.' Thought the boy, already setting off through the woods in search of a suitable spot, it was then that he arrived at a clearing, it wasn't very big, but it was enough.

"Perfect, I have to improve myself as much as I can, the U.A entrance exam is in ten months, and the others had much more time than me to train their quirks." Izuku said, and soon he saw some fallen trees and some very large rocks.

'I hope this helps.' Thought the boy, moving there. He was able to bend a thick steel bar, perhaps lifting a rock or a log wouldn't be so difficult.

Izuku approached a rock, it was almost 1.5m tall and 2m wide.

"That must weigh a lot, test time!" He said, crouching down to grab the stone, not having much support, Izuku decided to stick his fingers to the stone to make lifting it easier. Thinking that he would have resistance, he lifted the rock up with great force, and almost hit himself in the face with it, scaring him.

"Uff, that was close, I almost ruined my face!" Izuku said, calming down a little, it was a huge shock.

'I think I'm stronger than I thought, it doesn't even feel like I'm lifting a huge rock.' Izuku thought, contemplating his discovery "I have an idea, let's see how far I can throw it!"

Izuku, using some strength, threw the rock upwards and was surprised by the result. The rock rose a good 10m and arced out of his line of sight, only hearing the noise of it colliding with the trees.

"I didn't feel like I used all my strength, man, that's INSANE!" Izuku murmured, getting even more excited about his new quirk "Okay, I think strength training is enough for now, thinking about it, I'll only be able to train a few aspects of my quirk, strength, grip and the webs..." Said Izuku, murmuring thoughtful.

The spider-sense only activates when he is or will be in danger, the possible healing factor he wasn't too eager to find out if he has it, the agility...It might work if I train through the tree branches...Okay, I think that's it.

"The next workout will be with my webs, I know I've barely started my diet, but I want to see how it works." Izuku murmured, looking at his wrist, noticing that that whitish shape, which conveniently resembled a web pattern, was clearer.

"I think it replenishes gradually…Alright! Test time!" Izuku said, looking at a nearby tree.

"Go web!" The boy said, pointing his right wrist at the tree, but to his disappointment, nothing came out.

"Okay…Naive of me to think it would be so easy." Izuku whispered, lowering his shoulders in disappointment "Do I need to make a specific gesture? Or maybe a support item to extract the webs…But the doctor said I could shoot it on my own, there must be something I'm missing here…" Izuku went into his mumble mode, losing himself in increasingly fantastic daydreams.

"Hang on! If it's an organ…Maybe I can force it!" After his eureka moment, he focused on the muscles in his wrist, trying his best to shoot some webs, that's when...

Thwip!

Izuku was surprised when a ball of web was shot from his wrists towards a tree, getting stuck there, scattered.

"Oh! I achieved it!" The boy celebrated, running to take a closer look, when he got there, he grabbed the web and pulled it, proving what the doctor had said, they were too resistant, obviously, with his super strength he managed to tear the web, but one person without a really good strength quirk I wouldn't get out of this anytime soon.

"I have to do it again!" Izuku shouted, leaving for more experiments.

At the end of the afternoon, deciding to return home after a day of training, he left the place happier than ever, he had discovered how to shoot the web, both in rapid fire and in lines, excellent for grabbing things, something he tested, dragging a tree trunk for a while, and not a single sign of wear on the web line.

"That was definitely the best thing that ever happened to me…" Said the boy, walking home, wanting to tell his mother the good news.

TIME SKIP, TWO MONTHS UNTIL THE ENTRANCE EXAM

Eight months have passed since Izuku received the bite and got his long-awaited quirk, in a completely unconventional way, but it was still a quirk, and he would use it to be a hero.

As for progress with the quirk, it was amazing, he had it for eight months, and was already using it as if he had it for years. Gathering materials around the forest, Izuku managed to create improvised weights, they weighed approximately four tons, and the boy could lift them with certain ease, giving more credibility to the spiders' logic.

The crawling was well practiced, Izuku now felt confident enough to run along the walls, both in his house and in some alley where no one could see him. Spider-sense was not properly trained, only being present in some situations, Izuku believed it would be more useful in combat.

The healing factor, fortunately and unfortunately he discovered that it exists, fortunately, because now he had a very useful skill for heroism, unfortunately, that's how he discovered it, once training in the treetops, he was too fast and hit his head on a branch, and consequently, he fell and hit other branches until he reached the ground, all painful, with several scratches, and a bump on his head. But a few hours later, it didn't even look like he was hurt.

And currently, the greenish was doing more training in the abandoned forest.

"Okay, I thought about this possibility a lot, I hope it works out…" Izuku said, standing on a branch, why? Just a crazy idea he had.

"It's now…" The boy murmured, positioning himself.

Izuku extended his right arm, and then made a gesture with his hand, pressing his middle and ring fingers into your palm, and extending the other three, almost like the "Rock n' Roll" gesture, this didn't help shoot webs, but in the greenish's words , "It looked cooler."

As soon as he stimulated the wrist muscles, a line of web was thrown at another tree, and the boy held it. It was a sudden idea for mobility, if it worked, he could get to the locations faster.

"Come on Izuku, it's only six meters high..." The boy tried to motivate himself, and closing his eyes briefly, he threw himself off the branch, feeling the wind on his face, he opened his eyes just in time to see the trunk approaching each time faster.

"No! No!" Instinctively, Izuku used his other arm to shoot another line of web, managing to save himself from the impact, but soon, had to dodge some branches in front of him, pulling the web in his hand he stepped over the first branch, but his web snagged on the second, forcing him to let go.

"Oh, damn!" As he fell, the boy shot another web and continued his madness, the Web Swing, but now he didn't have much luck, as he ran into a tree trunk and fell to the ground in defeat.

"Ow…Okay, it wasn't my best idea…But it worked…" Izuku said, still stunned from the blow, but happy with his "success".

"And it still helps with my agility, as I swing through trees and branches I will be forced to dodge in time, or kiss the ground again..." Izuku said, getting up and going for another round.

TIME SKIP, U.A. ENTRANCE EXAM DAY

Time flew by, and when least expected, the entrance exam knocked on the door.

Izuku was confident from the written test, but for the practical, nervousness could definitely define him. Almost nothing was known about the UA practical test, except that it was very difficult, and that didn't encourage the greenish, who was at the gates of UA High.

The boy observed the historic building, it was from here that some of the greatest heroes came from, especially All Might. He was lost in thought, when he was interrupted…

"Get out of the way, Deku!" Katsuki said, bumping into Izuku's shoulder, and following without looking back.

"Good morning to you too…" Izuku murmured, making sure not to let the blonde hear. Since that fight, Izuku has avoided the blonde like the plague, partly out of apprehension, and partly out of guilt, after all, he sent him to the infirmary by fracturing his ribs. And Katsuki didn't make any effort to talk to him either, barely giving him a look, and when he did, it was an angry one.

'Maybe this is better, separate paths...But I hope he makes his dream come true.' Izuku thought, heading towards the written test, and fortunately, a little calmer, he might stumble along the way if he was too nervous.

"I don't even want to think.."
