Notes:
Thanks for the comments, guys, I hope my story continues to please you.
I'll reply to the reviews of the last chapter (02).
Ryustin: Don't worry, I don't intend to write a harem, I don't even think I could, to tell you the truth, hehe.
Jourdaine73: I'm glad you like it, reading this motivates me. Well, maybe hehe, I can think of a few situations where they might be interested in each other, but we'll see :).
Squaretree: Wow, those are great ideas, maybe I'll implement some of them, thanks :).
GhostheBestDire: Thank you. That's a valid point, I made my Izuku train from everything he knew(just to give him a general idea) up to that point, except spider-sense, most of the time he acts on instinct in relation to the sense.
I'll make him gain more powers, all in good time, I won't say more than that :).
Chapter 03 - U.A Entrance Exam
Izuku was in the written test room, the room was full, it seems that in an exam like this, missing it would be a dishonor. However, the boy was having a fanboy fit, why? Ectoplasm himself would be the one to apply the exam, he was a Professional Hero, his quirk was called Clones, he vomits a fluid that takes a perfect form of him.
'This is AMAZING!' Izuku thought, his eyes were practically shining like stars.
"Good morning, everyone, welcome to the U.A. Entrance Exam. I think you already know me, but in case you don't, you can call me Ectoplasm, and I'm also a math teacher here at U.A High. Listen, this test consists of you, competitors, answering a series of grammar, math and science questions. This test is standard for all courses, the next step will be specific to which one you chose. With everything informed, I will distribute your tests." Said the hero, and then created several clones, who distributed the tests.
'Ectoplasm himself, I wanted my notebook so much, I also want to ask how his quirk works-' Izuku started thinking, but was soon interrupted by the hero, who put the test on his desk.
"Good luck." Ectoplasm said, leaving then.
'HE TALKED TO ME!' The boy thought in disbelief, but soon recovered and analyzed his test, reaching a conclusion.
'I think it will be easier than I thought.'
After an hour, Izuku was one of the first to hand it in, after reviewing it three times. After one last look at Ectoplasm, the boy left the room and went to a recreational area on campus, just to pass the time.
"Man, this place is big, do students get lost around here a lot?" Izuku murmured, sitting on a bench nearby.
'Will the practice really be difficult? The written exam wasn't everything I imagined, but-' In the midst of thoughts about the exam, he was distracted after spotting a boy walking funny, hard like a board.
'He looks like a robot...I think this is the effect of nervousness, could it be that I get like that too?' Izuku thought, hoping he wouldn't act that way when nervous.
"It looks like he is heading to the heroic practical exam, but already? So soon…" The boy murmured, seeing the other young man moving further and further away.
When the time for practice arrived, Izuku went to the correct room. Once there, he realized that it was an auditorium, with numbers corresponding to the competitors' registration. Going to his designated seat, he realized that his luck had taken the wrong shortcut on the trail, because next to him was Bakugo Katsuki, almost snorting at the sight of him.
'Why...' Izuku thought sadly, but soon straightened up when he saw Present Mic entering the room.
"HELLO LIL' LISTENERS! WHO IS EXCITED FOR THIS EXAM GIVE ME A HEEEEEEYY!" The hero arrived screaming, the animation seemed to be his surname, but, unfortunately, he was greeted by crickets.
"Tough guys, huh?" The hero muttered, looking embarrassed.
"Alright! What you will have to do in practice is destroy robots, simple isn't it?! Well, you will be divided into different areas, students from the same school will not be placed in the same." The hero began his explanation.
With Izuku…
"This is amazing! I listen to his radio almost every day, he's so cool!" Izuku muttered quickly, but his angry neighbor didn't like that.
"Shut up, Deku!" The blonde "shouted" quietly to his colleague "So, we are being divided, so students from the same school cannot help each other, a shame, I wanted to destroy you right here."
'...Why do I still care...' Izuku thought "That's what it looks like, I'm in B area, what about you?"
"You don't care!" The blonde replied, hiding his file.
Back to Mic…
"...That was the Three Points, in short, defeat the robot villains and you earn the points they have. All good?! Get ready to leave for your areas-" Mic said, but was interrupted by a raised hand, along with a voice.
"Excuse me! I can ask a question?" The boy who Izuku thought looked like a robot spoke up, looking indignant.
"Ask!" Replied the hero, as a spotlight turned on the robot boy.
"The pamphlet says that there are four types of robots in the test, if this is true, the most renowned school in Japan should be ashamed!" The boy declared, making a drop of sweat run down Mic's head.
"And you! The one with the messy hair!" Shouted the boy, pointing at Izuku, who looked like a deer in the headlights of a car.
"Me-" the greenish one tried to say.
"You have been murmuring this whole time, if you are not going to take this exam seriously, I ask you to leave, you are disturbing everyone." The bossy boy said, making Izuku uncomfortable to the extreme.
"You see, the fourth robot is Zero Point, he is nothing more than an obstacle for you, so I advise you to avoid him." The hero replied to the robot boy, who nodded rigidly.
"Thank you very much for the answer, sorry to interrupt." The young man spoke.
After everyone was moved to their specific camps, Izuku stood before the gates of Camp Beta, or B. He observed the other competitors, one more interesting than the other.
"That guy, is he wearing a belt?" Izuku murmured in doubt, perhaps it was essential equipment to use his quirk.
The boy soon noticed another interesting person, a tall teenager with six arms?
"Man, I want my notebook now…" Izuku continued his murmurs, until he felt a hand land on his shoulder. Turning around, he found himself face to face with the robot boy who embarrassed him.
"Who are you? Are you here to harm other people's chances?!" Scolded the human robot, stunning Izuku, who was barely able to give a response.
"What- I was just-" The greenish one tried to speak, but was interrupted again.
"If you're just here to get in the way, leave now!" The boy said, stunning the greenish boy even more.
Izuku's misfortune only served to generate laughter from the others around him, who were already dismissing him as a suitable competitor.
'Damn, no one deserves it, I didn't even do anything, this is already persecution...' Izuku thought, upset, and now decided to give an answer to the bossy man.
"Listen, I'm here to-"
"GOOOOOOOO!" Shouted Mic, from the observation booth, as the gates opened.
Everyone stood still, too surprised to react.
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, REAL LIFE HAS NO COUNTDOWN, GO! GO!" Shouted the hero again, and now everyone began to run in stampede.
'Damn, it's barely started and I'm already late.' Izuku thought in the middle of the crowd, that's when they arrived in an open area and the greenish was able to do his trick.
"Now!" shouted the boy, throwing a web line at a building and pulling himself up, and then starting your Web Swing.
'My first test in an urban area, I hope all that training was worth it.' Thought the boy, spotting a robot from a point just ahead, he went on the attack.
The robot was walking calmly, minding its robotic business, just waiting for the first unsuspecting person to appear and attack. But today was not his day, as he was the unsuspecting one at the time. Before the robot could react, a voice was present.
"WATCHOUT!" Before two red shoes collided with her upper body and carried her away, leaving only her legs.
"Okay, one point on the count, where's the next one?!" Izuku said, continuing to swing in his search for more points, that's when he spotted a two points.
'There!' The boy then went into a free fall right on top of the robot, shooting another web at the unfortunate thing, he pulled himself towards him, and then crushed his head with his feet.
"Great, next!" He didn't even have to wait long, as a horde soon arrived from one point and some two points. He propelled himself towards them with the webs, hitting the first one with a well-aimed punch, opening a hole in his chest, a kick and another fell, and in a sequence of hits he knocked down almost all of them, leaving only one left. Before he could act, a bright blue beam passed by him and hit the robot, looking where the beam came from, Izuku saw that belt guy.
"Thanks for the distraction mon ami, we make a great duo, au revoir." Said the strange blonde, heading the other way.
'What the- Anyway, I have to continue.' Izuku thought, heading in the opposite direction of the strange blonde.
It had already been five minutes since the start of the exam, and in an observation room, there were many professional heroes, who are also UA teachers or employees, here, they acted as the judges. Among them, there was a creature resembling a mouse, a dog or a bear, but in fact he is the Principal of UA, Nezu, and he was the one who started the dialogue.
"It looks like we have a good batch of candidates this year." Nezu said, observing the various screens in the room, with images of the different areas.
"We have those who use good observation to solve problems" He continued, looking at the screen that showed the boy with six arms, but now they had eyes and ears, and were still moving in different directions.
"Those who don't shake under pressure" Said the mouse, seeing the strange blonde, with his arms behind his head, with his metal belt on his stomach, shooting lasers at the robots, the most surprising thing was his calm expression, as if that nor shake him.
"Also those who prefer pure speed." The screen shows the robot boy running at full speed and kicking a robot, destroying it instantly.
"And of course, the purest combat skills." Nezu said, referring to the walking explosive, known as Bakugo, with piles of fallen robots around him, and he incited even more of them.
"Indeed, this year has a lot of promise." A new voice was present, belonging to a man with a square face, looking like a block of cement, he was the hero Cementoss, and also a literature professor at UA.
The various heroes present agreed with his statement, except for two of them, one of them being a blonde man, thin as a skeleton, and with deep sky blue eyes. He was watching at a specific screen, looking apprehensive.
The other was a disheveled man, with long black hair falling over his face, dressed in black and with a type of gray scarf around his neck, and black eyes that looked like he hadn't slept in at least a year. He looked at the screen that showed a young man with green hair, Izuku, easily destroying robots, and occasionally helped other competitors.
'This boy, he's good, he appears to have some training, but he still shows inexperience.' Thought the disheveled man, before turning to Nezu.
"That green-haired boy, what's his quirk?" The man asked, pointing to the specific camera showing him.
"Hmm, interested in him, Eraserhead?" Nezu asked, smiling gently, but his voice betrayed malice.
"No, I just want to know." Replied the now known, Eraserhead.
"I found his file, and to satisfy your curiosity, your name is Midoriya Izuku, and it says here that your quirk is called Spider." Nezu said cheerfully.
"And from the name, I assume it's a spider mutation?" Eraserhead asked.
"Correct." Nezu replied, turning his gaze back to the cameras.
"Well, I think enough time has passed, what do you think we let the big guy go?" Nezu asked to the others heroes, opening the lid of a large red button.
"Do we have any choice?" asked a new voice, belonging to a cowboy hero, wearing a hat, a type of gas mask, and a red cape, his name was Snipe.
"Exactly." Nezu replied, pressing the button.
Back to Izuku, according to his internal timing, the exam was about to end, and he was currently sitting on top of a building, just watching the movement.
"According to my calculations, I have around 47 points, I think I can get a few more." Izuku said, getting up and getting ready to look for more robots. However, his Spider-Sense decided to make its presence felt.
"Spider-Sense…But what can happen here-" The boy was interrupted by a tremor that shook the city. Following the sound, the greenish saw The Colossal Robot, crashing into the buildings that passed close, causing chaos.
"Me and my big mouth…" Izuku murmured, looking at the deadly machine 'It must be zero point, so much for an obstacle, huh?'
"I better get away from that thing, maybe I'll get some stray robots." Said Izuku, but just as he was about to leave.
"Ouch!"
Izuku could hear a voice in the background, it sounded like a scream of pain, looking down he saw that a girl was trapped under some rubble, and the Colossus getting closer and closer to her.
Acting automatically, Izuku jumped from the building and shot a web to swing, going at full speed to help her.
In the observation room, the teachers observed the destruction generated by the zero point. Nezu looked fascinated, as if it were the first time he had seen it.
"Hang on! There's a girl trapped in the rubble, zero point will crush her, turn it off!" Said a female voice, belonging to a very beautiful lady, long and messy black hair, sky blue eyes behind a red domino mask, this was Midnight, professional heroine.
Midnight pointed to the screen that showed the girl in trouble, and Nezu, almost sad, was about to press the button again.
"Wait! Look!" The skeletal blonde in the room said, pointing to Izuku moving on the webs towards the girl.
The girl was desperate, she couldn't reach the debris to get it off, and she could still hear the robot approaching.
'Am I going to die here?!' Thought the girl, not even having the courage to look at the robot, decided to close her eyes and wait for her inevitable fate.
'I hope it doesn't hurt…' The girl thought, squinting her eyes even more. But the feeling never came.
'I don't feel anything, could this be what death is like?' The girl thought, uncertainly.
"Hey!" She heard a voice, opening her eyes and seeing that she was still under the rubble, she looked back and saw the robot very close to her, but what looked like webs were holding the robot's tracks at the ends and a boy was in the middle, interrupting the rotation of the tracks, preventing the robot from advancing, and it was he who spoke.
Izuku was staring at the girl, trying hard to hold onto that robot, but he was barely managing, his muscles were burning.
"I know this may seem like a stupid question, b-but can you move?!" Izuku asked, panting from the effort.
"N-No, my legs are trapped, and I can't turn around to use my quirk on the rubble." The girl replied, looking at him in surprise.
"Damn…" Said the boy. "Calm down, I'll try to remove the rubble from above."
Then, Izuku positioned his left shoulder to support the full force of the tracks, and then pointed his right wrist at the rubble, shooting a web at them and pulling, succeeding to remove most of it.
"Can you do it now?!" He asked, returning to his original position.
The girl managed to bend over and use her quirk on the remaining rubble, making them float.
"Can she make things float?" Izuku murmured to the quirk use, and soon saw the girl crawl out of reach of the floating debris, as his ankle appeared to be sprained.
That's when the two heard a bang, and looking up, they saw a shape that was flying close to the giant robot's head.
"Holy…" The boy whispered, his eyes wide in surprise, it was then that that shape hit the robot in the face, making the giant fall backwards with mini explosions coming out of his body.
In the observation room, all eyes watched the scene on the cameras, surprise might be an understatement to describe their reactions, and the same skeletal blonde spoke again.
"That's it... You don't get any points for facing zero point, but it gives you a chance to shine, and show the true trait of a hero...Self-sacrifice." The blonde said, seeming to look proudly at the scene.
"But it looks like that girl won't be able to land in one piece!" Midnight said, looking worriedly at the monitor.
That's when the blonde realized something. "The boy will act again."
Izuku soon realized that it was another girl who finished off the giant, she was blonde... And she was falling to her death.
"Oh no!" Exclaimed the boy, now free from the robotic weight, he tried to jump as high as he could to reach the falling girl. Approaching her, he opened his arms and grabbed the girl, then positioned his back to receive the impact of the fall, however, when he was about to hit the ground, Izuku felt a slap on his back, and the pain never came.
Opening his eyes, he noticed that he was floating, and behind him was the same girl from before, floating on top of some debris.
"R-Release." The girl said, making them fall to the ground, but it was better than becoming a puddle of blood on the asphalt, the girl immediately turned to the side and seemed to vomit, given the sounds.
'Damn...' Izuku thought, seeing the scene.
"Ow…" Izuku heard the blonde girl mumble.
"Hey, are you okay?!" Izuku asked, but the girl was dragging herself across the floor, her legs and right arm were broken.
"I need…just one point…" The girl murmured, her voice almost breaking.
"EEND TIIIME!" Shouted Mic's voice, the blonde girl just let out a shocked squeak before fainting.
Izuku looked at her dazedly, but first things first.
"She's all broken, we need someone to help her." Izuku said to himself, and turned to look at the floating girl.
"You still can't walk, right?" Izuku asked, receiving a negative shake of his head.
"Okay…I can carry her in my arms, you can hold on to my back." Izuku said, taking the blonde in his arms and then bending down so the other girl could hold on.
After a moment of hesitation, the girl climbed onto his back, and Izuku headed towards a crowd of people, probably for medical support.
"Thank you…" The girl on her back murmured.
"It was nothing." Izuku replied, smiling in return.
They finally reached their destination, a short old woman dressed as a nurse, this was Recovery Girl, an old school professional hero, her quirk allowed her to heal other people.
"Oh, my dear, it looks like you guys had a hard time." The lady said, approaching them, Izuku bent down for the girl to get off his back and put the blonde on the ground.
The old woman approached the blonde first. "Oh, it looks like your body can't handle all your quirk, doesn't it?" And then his lips stretched out bizarrely and kissed the girl's forehead, soon after, her whole body was healed, but she still fainted.
"Who is next?" Asked the old lady, looking at the remaining two.
"She's the one who's hurt." Izuku said, indicating the girl next to him, and again, Recovery Girl kissed the girl and everything was as new.
"Wow, thanks." The girl said, checking her ankle.
The lady nodded, and then turned her attention to Izuku. "Now you, young man."
"No, no, I'm fine, just some muscle fatigue, I'll get better soon." Izuku said, trying to escape the kiss, but soon he felt the old woman's lips on his forehead, and all the tiredness went away.
"Well…It's gotten better." Izuku said, embarrassed, to the floating girl laugh.
"Since you are okay, I will take this one to the infirmary, she can leave when wakes up." Said Recovery Girl, it was then that two robots appeared carrying a stretcher and carried the blonde away, the old woman getting out too.
Only Izuku, the girl and the murmurs of the other participants remained.
"Did you see what they did?" ; "Yes, the green-haired one blocked the zero point, that was insane!" ; "And that blonde, she destroyed him with one punch!"
The robot boy, who was nearby, only thought about how wrong they were.
'They don't understand, they did all this to save each other, even though they don't get anything out of it. Wait, the cameras…Could it?!' He thought, finally thinking he understood the situation.
After a while, Izuku changed his clothes, and he was heading towards the exit, ready to go home after so much stress, but he heard the floating girl's voice calling him.
"Hey, wait!" She said, making Izuku turn to look at her.
"Hey…H-how can I help you?" Izuku asked, suddenly getting nervous.
"I want to thank you once again, you had no obligation to help me." The girl said, interlacing her fingers in embarrassment.
"Y-you don't need to thank me, I would do it again if I had to… That's what heroes do, isn't it?" Izuku replied, smiling shyly at her, but inside he was going crazy.
'Chill…Chill! I'm talking to a girl! It's not a big deal.'
"Well, it was a pleasure, my name is Uraraka Ochako." Said the girl, now named Ochako.
"T-the pleasure was mine Uraraka-San, mine is M-Midoriya Izuku, I hope to see you at U.A." Izuku introduced himself as well, stuttering a bit.
"Right! See you next time, Midoriya-Kun!" Said the girl running away, waving goodbye.
Izuku sighed heavily as she walked away. "That was scary…I thought I was going to faint." Izuku said, returning to his walk to the train station.
Halfway there, he realized something.
'Come to think of it...I could have used the webs to stop myself and the girl from falling...' Izuku thought with an contemplative expression.
"Uff…I'm an idiot." Izuku said, lowering his shoulders in sorrow.

Notes:
As you may have noticed, Melissa will be the bearer of the OFA, I know that in the canon she's older than class 1-A, but here I'll make her the same age.
I won't give the OFA to Izuku, I don't want him to die prematurely.
Affectionately, Sir Ghost :).
