Summary
Kiera spends her first night with the vamps
Chapter 4
-Kiera Carson-
Alright, so a couple hours later, they pull up to what looks like an abandoned house in the middle of a field and forest near a farm down the road. Its getting pretty dark now and it's making me uncomfortable.
They finally pull the earphones out really hard. I gave another infamous glare. The dude who took them out returned it and untied me, pushed me out on the ground, causing me to land on my feet. He pulled me up by my hair and pulled the duct tape off really fast and very unexpected. Since I was able to move my arms, I put my arm up to where it hurt, but that was a mistake considering my arm was asleep for the past two hours. I winced in pain after the two events.
I was just about to attempt to make a run for it while they were unloading some things from the trunk, but was caught instantly by the tall dude that untied me. He quickly had me stuck in his arms as he pulled me up the stairs into the house. But before he went all the way in, he turned me toward the last remains of the sun setting and said, "You see that light? It will be the last inch of it you'll ever see!"
I kicked his leg, causing both of us to fall down the stairs, me on top of him. I seized the opportunity and punched his chest saying, "Fuck you!"
He just smiled and said, "We'll get to that eventually."
I made a disgusted face and turned to leave, only to be met by Punk. "And where do you think you're going, princess?"
Before I could answer, he had my wrists and waist in one hand. He whispered in my ear, "Now you're going to be a good girl and not scream or struggle, right?" Yeah, right.
On demand, I began to thrash around and scream for help. He snickered a little, like he knew that I would do that and then put his free hand over my mouth, almost crushing my jaw, blocking out any possible noise.
He successfully dragged me up the stairs to the house and then threw me into a chair in the corner of the room that instantly threw metal cuffs around my wrists and ankles. "You can scream all you want in here, it's sound proof," he informed me.
"Whatever," I muttered under my breath.
He knelt down beside me and made me look at him. "Aw, what is the little tough girl all tired of pointlessly screaming for help?"
He smiled really big, almost hinting for me to notice, and I definitely did notice. He had fangs in his teeth. But that can't be right, vampires dont exist! I wasn't sure if I should ask him, but I did anyway. "So, you have fangs. Are they r-real?"
I was feeling that fear in the bottom of my stomach again. He smiled again, almost glad to see that my fear had resurfaced. "You know it, babe. I'm a vampire."
At this point, I thought that he might be joking, but then again that look on his face made him seem all the more serious. "Are you scared?" He looked me straight in the eyes.
In my head, I was totally screaming yes, but I couldn't let him know that. "N-no."
He rolled his eyes, "Well your stuttering really assures me. Besides," he came in really close to my face, "you should be."
I gulped and he laughed a little. I don't know how much more of this I can take!
The rest of the guys came in carrying the stuff that they stole from my house: the money, the furniture, the diamonds, and jewelry, everything. If we hadn't just moved into that house a couple of weeks ago, I would be completely heartbroken, but I didn't spend that much time there, so it wasn't as bad.
Once they were all done with their jobs, they grabbed some drinks from the refrigerator in the corner and sat down to watch some you know what...porn. I'm totally still a virgin and here they are watching this! A few minutes after it started, Roman got up and turned the lights off for a better effect. Before he did that though, I saw what they were drinking: glasses of blood.
Perfect...I am locked down in an uncomfortable chair with five of the FBI's most wanted criminals, that just so happen to be vampires, watching this. So, I decided that maybe if I just fall asleep, I'd wake up and see that this is all just a nightmare that never really happened; either that or at least I won't have to watch this. So I blocked out the noises and finally fell asleep.
About an hour later, I guess, someone shook me awake and I saw that it was Jax. I slowly opened my eyes and yawned really big. Then I asked him, "What do you want?"
He unlocked my restrictors around my wrists and ankles and said, "Why don't you ask Punk?"
He pushed me basically across the room right into Punk's arms. "Ouch!" I yelled over to Shadows.
He smirked and said, "Not sorry!"
I would have loved to flip him off, but Punk had his arms tightly wrapped around mine, too close for my comfort. I tried to squirm out of his grip, but he only held on to me tighter. "Can you please let me go?" I asked.
He laughed a little, "I like it when you beg. And no I won't let you go because its time for us to go to bed." Bed? It's like morning time now. And don't they or we have to go to school? I had to ask him. "How can you sleep if we have to go to school?" I was really confused.
"Are you serious? We were only at that school waiting for you to come. We aren't going back there, babe. You're stuck here. And, since we are vamps, we do sleep during the day, which means that you do too cause you aren't getting out of our sight, got it?"
I wanted to get out of there so fast, but obviously I couldn't; and I certainly wasn't going to answer him. "I asked you a question, now what's your answer?" He shook me a little and I just nodded and barely whispered yes. He smiled and said, "Ok, good. Now when we all get up, well have a meeting and tell you the rules of the house and maybe our plans too. Now lets get upstairs." Yes, please tell me the plans, forget the rules.
He pulled me up the stairs by my hand like a little kid, and this caused his gang to laugh at me all the way up the never-ending staircase. We finally reached a double-doored room at the end of the hall and he kicked it open, taking me inside and locking the door. "So, what? I get to share a room with you?" I said the word 'you' with as much venom as I could muster.
He just rolled his eyes and answered with the same tone I used, "Yes, you get to share a room and a bed with me."
I finally got out of his grip and started to back up from him and closer to the door. "N-no way, I am not sharing a bed with you!"
He saw that I was getting dangerously close to the door and in a matter of seconds, he was behind me, holding my arms behind my back. "Are you scared to share a bed with me?" he whispered into my ear as he slowly pushed me closer to the bed. I was trembling now.
"How...how could I not be? You're a murder and a va..va..va"
"Vampire?" he finished.
"Yeah."
"Whatever. I'm in charge here, not you. I'm not going to kill you yet...only if you piss me off really extremely badly, ok?"
I nodded and by now he pushed me down onto the bed. He went off to take his clothes off or whatever. I just took my converses off along with my jeans and socks but I left my shirt and everything else on, I mean I already felt uncomfortable just by taking my pants off, but jeans aren't exactly comfortable sleeping clothes. He obviously doesn't care because he came out with just his boxers on. His makeup on his eyes was smeared and there were various traces of blood on his face and hands. Gross.
I laid down on the right side and he laid down on the left. I tried to stay the farthest point from him that I could, but that didn't work because he wouldn't let me; he just pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arm around me so that we were right next to each other. I really hope that that blood on him is old and not fresh because I don't want blood on me at all.
This has got to have been the worst day of my life, and I have the feeling that it's only going to get worse. Before we were both completely asleep, he whispered to me, "Good morning, Kiera. Don't let the vamps bite." Then he laughed a little, but I didn't. Why is it that I have another feeling that hes going to bite me soon? I'm really scared out of my mind.
When I woke up, it was obviously night time. I am so not going to be doing this all my life although I am more of a night owl than early bird, I still have to sleep during the night, well considering that I'm not a vampire like they are.
I was getting ready to get out of bed and reapply some make up, but fell off the bed first because apparently I am in shackles?! That's just not right. Well, after seeing that I get up and walk slowly in the direction of the bathroom, when something caught my eye from the corner. There was a stack of things that they stole from my house.
Right away, I saw that they took my messenger bag that has everything I could ever need in it. I quickly grabbed it and went through it for some makeup. I applied some dark eye-shadow to cover up last night's and then straightened out my eyeliner. I looked through it to see what else I had: a cell phone. Darn it, it's still dead. Ok, I also have a book, a tank top and shorts, more makeup, oh c'mon where is my...ah-ha! My bobbypin!
Ok, now I just need to poke it through the keyhole on the lock of the chains. After struggling with it for a while, I heard someone coming upstairs, so I hid my bag under his bed so that they wouldn't take it. I quickly worked to the chains unlocked. The stupid pin wouldn't hit the trigger of the lock. I didn't get them undone before he came in. He knew what I was up to too.
"Kiera, stop playing with the stupid pin and get the fuck up!" He threw the pin somewhere and pulled me up.
"What do you want?" I spat.
He rolled his eyes while continuing to drag me out of the room and responded, "Jeez, good night to you too. I just thought I'd get you up so that we can tell you the rules here. So, c'mon."
He pulled me down the stairs so fast I basically tripped over myself fifty times, and if he wasn't in front of me, I would have fallen down a lot too. The stairs were split in two sections and separated by a large window. When I looked out the window, I saw it was dark just like when I got here; and come to think of it I don't remember what the morning looked like here. "Why is it so dark out again?" I dumbly asked.
"We told you that you would never see the light again. Get used to it."
