Hey guys, before anything I need to say this.
Rest in Paradise, Akira Toriyama. The man who created many of our childhoods had passed away, his work had expired other anime and so much more. Thank you Mr. Toriyama for giving us Dragon Ball, without you our childhoods wouldn't be as joyful and we wouldn't feel the joy of writing our fanfics. I hope his work continues to inspire and that he is remembered for the great creator he was.
Also I know that Roosterteeth had shut down. It's unfortunate to hear that, I hope that RWBY can be continued somehow. I know it's had it's issues for a while but I still liked it for what it was and hope to see how it was meant to end.
Such a sad start to the beginning of the year.
Let's all move forward and do our best to adjust to these unfortunate events.

RETCON ALERT: Scourge Kron, the Kron who destroys Remnant now wears Saiyan like armor. I originally had him in the Scourge outfit he has in the Pime Timeline but I decided to change that since he is sticking to his roots and wiping out the planet.
His armor is similar to what he wore at the start of the original story and he doesn't wear a mask. He wants everyone to see his face as he kills them.

The screen turns on showing Fu in his hideout.
"Heyooo!" Fu yelled excitingly. "Woof, sorry for the long wait, Disney's lawyers were really hard to deal with." He brought out a paper. "Since it's been awhile lets get on with the next timeline, the second most voted timeline will be explored, which was…"
He closed one eye.
"Ohhh, bummer, well it's what the people voted for." He sighed and chuckled. "What if Kron never met Kali part to, let's pray we don't see too many people we like die."
He pulled up the time scroll and sighed.
"Alrighty, let's hope this somehow has a happy ending." He walked towards the screen and inserted the time scroll in the Time Window.
The black screen started to form the title.
What if Kron Never Met Kali Part 2
On a T.V. screen there was a man holding papers with a screen of a destroyed city in the background.
"The Scourge of Anima had started destroying settlements over a month ago." The reporter said. "At first he would only go after villages but now he has destroyed the city of Shenyang, all done by one young man."
A picture showed of Kron floating over a burning city, his tail wrapped around his waist, he wore green armor with red spots at the abdomen and shoulders, along with bracers and boots.
"Huntsmen teams attacked him only for them all to fall in a gruesome manner."
It showed Kron floating while firing an energy blast towards a huntsman.
"No one knows his name or what he wants." He said. "But I will ask this, what are our huntsmen going to do about it?"
Nothing that can stop him.
Like in the Prime Timeline Vernal had always thought banishing Raven from the tribe was the best thing for them. She had proven that she held herself above their people's needs given how many excuses she gave Kron for killing their tribe, and her nonsense got her into that coma. She knew that Kron would come for them sooner or later, so she had gathered information on Raven that they can bargain him with.
And it was proven that it would be useful to point him away from their tribe if they were to bump into him.
That's what she hoped anyway.
Kron stumbled upon them by chance, he didn't make any deal with Tyrian like Kron Prime did.
He was wearing red and green armor very similar to what he wore as a child.
And he was covered in blood from five different tribe members.
"Listen" Vernal began. "I have something you want to hear, it's about Raven."
Kron didn't seem to care as he threw a spear hand and pierced a man's throat.
"Stop! Listen!" Vernal yelled. "If you kill us all you will never find Raven!"
The Saiyan ignored and snapped another member's neck.
"Stop damn it!"
Kron rolled his eyes, appeared in front of Vernal and grabbed her neck.
"Gahhh!" Vernal yelled grabbing her throat.
The Saiyan looked up at Vernal rose one hand ready to kill her.
"Raven! S-she has a daughter!"
That made him pause for a moment.
Seeing this as her chance, she was about to continue.
"Neat"
Kron threw a punch at her mouth.
It shattered her teeth before she could speak, it also destroyed her jaw and she was un able to talk.
The rest of the Branwen Tribe behind her dropped their weapons and ran.
Kron glanced and fired powerful Ki waves, killing the Branwen Tribe besides one.
The Saiyan stared into Vernal's eyes who seemed so terrified.
"I'm in no rush to kill Raven or her brat." He said smiling. "I'm going to kill them in time anyways." He chuckled. "So don't worry bootlicker, the old hag joining you in the next dimension before you know it."
Vernal looked into the demented eyes of the monster she always feared and envied from having her priority. She started to cry thinking of how she kicked Raven out of the tribe.
She was strong enough to fight him and she got rid of her.
Why did she kick her out? She was their best chance to survive.
Kron squeezed his hand breaking the neck and ending her life. He then tossed her corpse aside without giving it a glance.
The Saiyan looked around at the dead tribe members, funny, they were supposed to be his first victim's if Vernal hadn't gotten in the way.
Getting info on Raven's brat was tempting, after all he'd love another crack at the hag now that he's gotten so much stronger.
But, ironically unlike Kron Prime, Scourge Kron had no grudge against Raven. Yes she tried to trick him by 'saving' him from the Alpha Ursa, but it made him stronger. He can afford to let her live a bit longer.
Besides she needs time to prepare.
And got him closer to his goal of wiping out all of Remnant.
Wiping out Anima is fun and all, but still there wasn't anyone strong enough to give him any challenge.
Kron rested his back against a tree and pulled out a paper. It was a map of Anima with 'X's on the map.
It's been three months since he started the purge. He's destroyed all the villages and cities he's come across. Any resistance is pathetic at best.
He was sure that he could wipe out Anima in two months at this rate, he only needed a day to rest after wiping out a city.
Looks like all the training and fighting in the arena was worth it. His strength was now beyond anything Remnant has.
Except maybe whatever strange power Raven has.
Maybe he should have let Vernal tell him where her daughter is.
Oh well, nothing he could do about it now. Best save the best for last anyway.
The Saiyan floated while looking at the map.
Where should he go now?
Anima's proven to be a joke, nothing they have can entertain him.
If he wanted a real fight, he was going to have to give them time.
But he also didn't want to just do nothing but wait, he already trained for eight years before starting the purge.
Perhaps he can do both.
And he knows just how to do that.
With a smile, Kron flew off.
Mistral Broadcasting Station
"After all the innocent people this monster has taken, this reporter demands to know what is going on! What are our huntsmen and huntresses doing to stop him! And what does this monster want!"
Just then the floor in front of the newsman's channel broke as a familiar figure floated in front of the camera.
The reporter that made that demand turned blue in the face.
Kron grabbed the reporter by the throat and looked at the camera.
"Keep rolling, or everyone dies."
The camera crew kept rolling.
"Broadcast this everywhere this concerns this entire planet." He lifted up the reporter. "The following program contains, blood, violence and is not suitable for children."
He squeezed crushing the poor man's neck.
And looked at the camera.
Soon Mistral's News was broadcasting everywhere on Remnant.
"Y-your on!"
Kron looked at the camera for a few seconds, he was being broadcast all over Remnant. Much like Kron Prime he had a need for attention and he was getting it.
"People of Remnant, you probably know who I am." He brought his arms up. "I am the Scourge of Anima."
He began the speech he practiced in his head.
"But not for long, soon I am going to become the Scourge of Remnant, and I am going to cleanse every kingdom, every island, city, and village until neither Faunus nor human pollute this planet."
Throughout the world people all over were shocked at this young man's proclamations.
Atlas
General Ironwood and Winter Schnee were watching the news the young man with strange looking green and red armor.
"But so far it's been too easy, in just a month I wiped out almost half the settlements in Anima, all their soldiers and huntsmen can barely put up a fight, while I do have to end all life on the planet, but I also want real fights, so I'll give the four kingdoms time to develop defenses."
Preferably, they will train huntsmen that are strong enough to make him bleed or at least weapons that were capable.
"But I won't be twiddling on my thumbs, to kill time I'm going to go to every island and wipe out every population." He explained with a smile. "During that time the Four Kingdoms can prepare their armies as much as they can, send your armies after me, just know that I won't stop until every island is wiped clean, then the Kingdoms main lands are next."
The general squeezed his fists, he was far more dangerous than he believed.
He looked over at Winter who seemed shaken at the news.
Unfortunately, he was going to have to arrange her being the next Winter Maiden ahead of schedule.
Beacon Academy
Ozpin watched the news alongside Glynda.
"Your all probably wondering why I'm doing this." He chuckled, and thought for a few seconds contemplating weather or not to tell them. But given how long it would take he decided against it for now. "That would take too long to explain, just know my power surpasses this weak energy you call Aura, it's something far more potent."
The headmaster wasn't too surprised, hearing how his abilities function he had a suspicion that his abilities did not consist of Aura.
If they could provide such abilities, he would have figured it out with all the time he had.
He had a suspicion that he was not from this realm.
Though the way he worded it was odd, his suspicions were right he was not of this world.
Salem's Castle
Salem watched the television screen with a surprised expression. He was always bloodthirsty, but seeing him do all this was beyond her expectations.
"All you really need to know." The young man explained. "Is that I am the end of Remnant."
The witch had a wide smile listening, her fascination grew even more. Seems like her goal and his were more similar than she thought.
But at the same time what this boy intends to do may interfere with her plans.
She'll need to spread up her production of Soul Dust and have Dr. Merlot prioritize Eclipse.
Anima
"So that's the game, make all the preparations you can, you can decide how your final days however you want." Kron announced. "Come and fight or run and hide, it's all the same to me, I will kill all on this planet."
The Saiyan flew off leaving the news station.
The camera crew all seemed grateful that the Scourge had spared them.
But then the entire building started to crack and fall apart.
Kron floated upward with a hand down aimed at the ruined building and watched it fall and the city all panicked.
That should trigger at least one worthy fighter to look for him
The Saiyan flew off towards the ocean ready to begin his game.
Kron started systematically going from island to island wiping out as much life as possible.
No one was safe.
Fortunately for the Four Kingdoms, he kept his word and it was taking time.
Months have come and gone as he had finished off all of the smaller lesser-known islands surrounding the continents.
Many huntsmen and huntresses tried to stop him only to meet their end.
Some islands were smart to evacuate before he got there, others increased their numbers which didn't end well for them.
Kron had then stumbled onto an island South of Vale.
An island called Patch.
Kron walked out of a town that was in flames surrounded by dead.
"Running out of islands." He said as he looked at the map that had a bunch of X's. "Ok, I guess I'll be heading to Me-"
Just then the ground beneath him exploded in yellow light.
The explosion was strong enough to force the Saiyan upward and crash into a tree.
Kron opened his eyes and looked surprised, that was odd, he felt that.
Just then the ground beneath started to glow yellow.
He flew up avoiding the explosion and looked down.
There was a blonde with a soul patch kneeling with his fist on the ground.
The man stood up and glared at him. "Scourge of Remnant, you need to come with me." He said to him.
Just like the Prime Timeline Taiyang would use the Void Vault, but instead of helping Qrow he would stay in Patch to defend his home from the monster.
Kron chuckled and squeezed his knuckles. "That wasn't too bad, I actually felt that." The Saiyan smiled. "Looks like the Four Kingdoms have been using their time wisely."
Taiyang squeezed his fists, if only Raven had been found.
The Saiyan took on his fighting stance hoping that this fighter was someone he can actually fight.
Taiyang ran forward.
Once he was within range Taiyang threw a body shot and it landed.
He then smashed his fist across the Scourge's face.
Kron stumbled from that strike and was surprised.
Taiyang took advantage of the surprise and kicked up the boy's chin. He then smashed a fist into his gut forcing him to keel over.
The Saiyan looked surprised and smiled, not only can he defend himself but he uses hand to hand.
The huntsmen then threw his fist down on the back of his head forcing the boy to hit the ground. He then smashed his fist across his back igniting a powerful explosion.
It forced the Scourge of Anima to keel forward.
He then slammed a kick across the Saiyan's back sending him away.
Kron caught himself and smashed his arm against the ground to stop himself.
Just then the ground beneath him glowed yellow.
He was sent flying from the impact.
Taiyang then jumped across towards where he was floating and threw a fist for Kron's gut.
It landed and created another explosion which sent him crashing to the ground.
The huntsman landed on a tree branch and looked down at the Saiyan. He wanted to keep pummeling but knew better not to, especially all the warnings Ozpin had given him.
He was so thankful that Beacon had started their semester, he wasn't sure if he could get Yang off of Patch without restraining her.
Just then the Saiyan stood up like nothing had happened. And looked at Taiyang standing in the tree. "Good offense."
Taiyang jumped to the ground and rose his fists ready to continue.
But it looked as though his opponent vanished.
Kron appeared in front of Taiyang and swung an axe kick.
The huntsman just in time rose his arms and flinched from the force.
The Saiyan smiled. "Let's see your defense."
He pulled back his leg and threw a fist for his gut.
Taiyang blocked it with his elbows.
The Saiyan then threw a few punches and kicks forcing the blonde to back pedal.
Kron threw a fist aimed for Tai's gut.
Taiyang managed to catch the fist in one arm, he then pulled and rose a knee to slam up Kron's chin.
His fighting style is highly aggressive, breaking down defenses, but it has plenty of openings to exploit.
He then rose an arm and was about to throw a punch.
But Kron slammed a fist up Taiyang's chin. He then roundhouse kick across Taiyang's face.
The man was sent crashing into a tree.
Taiyang looked up and saw Kron already in front of him with a fist raised.
"You were fun, but I got places to be."
Just before he was about to throw the finishing blow, he was stuck by lightning and sent flying.
Taiyang was shocked to see that out of nowhere.
He stood up and looked beside him where the lightning came from.
To his surprise, it was a familiar red portal.
Raven walked through the portal to his surprise.
She then grabbed his wrist and pulled.
"Come on, let's go." She said and pulled.
Taiyang was awestruck seeing her but he pulled away and looked at the Scourge getting up. "No! I'm not abandoning my home!"
"You're going to die!" She yelled and tried to grab his shoulder only for him to move out of her reach.
"Go if you want Rae, I'm not leaving." He said as he walked forward.
Raven wanted to leave, she wanted to go search for the artifacts she discovered them, but feeling his life force she felt the need to save him.
She walked until she was beside him.
"Come on, let's go." She said to him.
Taiyang still shocked that she came but shook his head as she opened another portal.
"No, I'm staying."
"You have to." She said. "He's going to kill you."
Taiyang looked at the village Kron had just come out of. So many corpses even of children.
He pulled away from Raven's grip and walked forward.
"Tai!" She yelled grabbing his shoulder.
"I have to save them." He said to her.
"They're already going to die." Raven said to him. "Think of Yang" She was terrified but wanted to do what she can to save him. "And Ruby, are you going to let them lose their father?"
Taiyang paused for a second as if contemplating what his former flame had said.
Just then a blur came for them that both were barely able to see and tackled Raven.
Raven's back hit a huge boulder, with an arm wearing a green and red gauntlet against her throat. She looked at the face of the boy she raised and was terrified.
Kron had a cruel smile on his face. "Well, well, well, long time, no see." He said looking at Raven's fire glowing eyes. "Ready for round 2 hag?"
From behind Taiyang threw a fist towards the back of Kron's skull.
But the Saiyan turned and slammed a kick into the huntsman's gut.
Seeing his attention diverted away, Raven pulled out Omen and swung her blade towards Kron's neck.
But the Saiyan grabbed the Fire Dust blade felt the burning sensation. He sees the flame like light burning brighter and felt more force than he expected.
"Either I didn't get as strong as I thought." He looked at how Raven was barely able to move her arm. "Or you've gotten stronger." That was nice, but not as strong as he would've liked. "Not enough though."
Raven coughed as her throat was pressed against the boulder.
Just then a small black bird swooped down and changed shape near Kron into a man. He swung a scythe at Kron's throat.
The tip touched his throat.
On instinct Kron moved his head avoiding the strike but looked surprised.
As Qrow missed he launched a kick at Kron's midsection sending him flying.
Kron growled and was about to stop himself.
But Taiyang threw a roundhouse kick at the Saiyan's side.
The Saiyan was redirected and slammed through a tree.
Taiyang then through his fists on the ground.
A giant yellow explosion formed where Kron landed.
Raven then aimed her hands and released a wave of ice at the area.
It coated a large amount of the forest in a glacier.
She looked slightly relieved and turned to her brother.
"Didn't expect to see you here." Qrow said looking at Raven with his scythe held up and glanced at Taiyang, not doubting she came to save him. "There might be hope for you yet."
Taiyang walked towards his old teammates and looked at Qrow.
"I wasn't gonna let you fight this monster alone." He said and looked at Raven. "So, you gonna help us clean your mess or run?"
Raven clicked her tongue and thought of making a portal to Ozpin to escape. But he was right, she had the chance to kill him but didn't take it. All for power.
She looked at her brother and the father of her daughter. "Go for the kill, he isn't going to stop until we're dead along with everyone on this island." The woman said as she looked at the ice starting to break.
"Get ready." Qrow said raising Harbinger.
Taiyang pressed one of his gauntlets forming his shield.
Kron broke free of the ice and floated in front of the three and chuckled. "Too scared to fight on your own?" He asked the three of them. "Good, the more the merrier."
He dashed down at the three.
Team _TRQ ran forward.
Raven swung Omen with a Lightning Dust blade for his neck.
But Kron ducked beneath the blade avoiding the strike and tried to throw a punch
And Taiyang rose his knee striking Kron up his chin making him look up.
Qrow swung Harbinger across the Saiyan's chest, just strong enough to pierce the first layer of skin.
And Raven pierced his chest with Omen.
It electrocuted Kron from the inside out.
He swung his arm down breaking the lightning blade and he head butted Raven forcing her back.
Qrow tried to slash for his side.
But Kron roundhouse kicked Qrow's head forcing him to be sent flying.
He then threw a red Ki blast at Taiyang.
Who crossed his arms, his gauntlets Ember Terra formed a shield.
Forcing him back, his boots skidding on the ground.
Kron dashed towards Taiyang intent on breaking the shield.
But then he was struck with lightning.
Tai glanced and Raven was there with her arm outstretched.
Behind Kron Qrow swiped his blade for his neck.
Though Kron lacked defense he was still careful about his vitals.
He turned around and rose an arm to catch the scythe.
But it was a feint, with a press of a button Harbinger formed into a longsword, missing Kron's hand, and he thrusted his blade into Kron's chest.
It was able to pierce his chest, barely though as his body was amplified by Ki.
Qrow pulled the trigger forcing the Saiyan to propel back.
Taiyang then punched the ground again unleashing a powerful explosion from beneath Kron's feet sending the Saiyan into the air.
Raven rose an arm calling a storm cloud and threw her hand down making a lightning strike hit Kron from the sky.
Taiyang took this opportunity to jump and slam a fist into the electrocuted Kron's stomach sending him to the ground.
The trio felt hope seeing that they were able to do better than they thought. Though Raven knew in the back of her mind that this was far from over.
The Saiyan stood up looking down at where Kron had stabbed and shot him. With his fingers he pulled out a bullet from his wound and tossed it aside.
He was shaking with his head down.
Raven knew better, this was something he did whenever he met worthy opponents.
Qrow took it for what it looked like.
"Give up, it's over, come quietly and-"
Kron reared back his head and laughed.
"Hahahaha!" The Saiyan laughed with blood coming down the side of his face. "This is what I was hoping for! "
Both Taiyang and Qrow cursed thinking they had the upper hand, while Raven knew better.
"Raven!" Kron yelled looking at his former teacher. "You've gotten stronger than I hoped for! Good!" He then looked at the duo. "And you two, I didn't think normal huntsmen could get this strong, looks like my announcement really paid off, are there more of you?"
They didn't answer, they only took their fighting positions and eyed him waiting for his next move hoping that he slowed down from taking their attacks.
"My turn." Kron smiled and vanished from their sights.
Except for Raven who was barely able to follow his attack, she watched him ran towards him but lacked the speed to react.
He slammed his fist up her chin sending her upward.
Tai and Qrow tried to attack him at his sides taking advantage of his lack of defense.
That weakness hardly mattered when Kron would use more of his strength.
But Kron swept kicked the two huntsmen making the duo fall on their backs.
The Saiyan then jumped up towards Raven.
Raven caught herself in midair and sees him heading towards him.
She threw her hand down releasing a wave of fire.
Kron merely smiled and powered through, ignoring the burns as he wanted to try a technique he hasn't gotten to in this reality.
"You know I love creating techniques hag!" He flew right in front of Raven. "Tell me what you think of this one!"
He slammed a fist up Raven's gut sending her upward.
"Manticore Massacre!" He yelled flying upward and threw a kick at her stomach sending her higher. Then a punch to her gut pushing her further into the sky.
Then he dashed upward with his knee out, it slammed up her chin flipping her body and forcing her to look up.
Kron raced down with his fists aimed downward, for a second, he looked like a Manticore pouncing towards its prey.
His fists slammed into her stomach and pushed her downward.
Raven slammed against the ground and made a wide crater.
Kron stood up and looked down at Raven, her Aura looked as though it was fading.
"So, any critiques?" Kron asked. "Anything I could add to it?"
Raven tried to push herself up but Kron slammed his boot on her stomach forcing her to stay on the ground.
Kron aimed a hand downward with a red Ki ball.
Just then he was punched on the side of his face and was flung out of the crater.
Taiyang panted still recovering from the previous beating. He looked down at Raven who was starting to get up but with great effort.
"Rae, you should run." He said to her.
Raven was shocked to hear that. "Then come with me."
Taiyang looked ahead. "You know I can't." He then ran forward.
Kron smirked not angry that he was interrupted and watched as Taiyang headed towards him. He glanced behind him to see the caped one trying to sneak attack him.
Both ran towards him from both sides.
Qrow swung with Harbinger in its long sword form.
Kron punched him in the gut before the blade could touch him. He then threw a kick to Taiyang.
The blonde huntsman closed his arms and his Ember Terra formed a large shield.
Qrow then tried to pierce Kron's back.
But the Saiyan grabbed the blade in both hands.
Qrow smirked and pulled the trigger.
A Fire Dust bullet hit his face, up close it managed to stun him and criticize himself for not seeing that coming.
Taiyang punched the back of his head forcing him to stumble forward.
Qrow slashed in multiple areas, trying to hit the vitals, but his power made him too hardy to take advantage of them. Still, it did manage to do a good amount of damage on him.
Taiyang then grabbed his arms and pushed him down and forced him in a submission hold. He looked up at Qrow and nodded.
The huntsman was usually all for sparing his enemies if it meant he didn't have to kill, but in this case, it had to be done.
He tried to slash his throat again.
But Kron floated while Taiyang was still trying to pin him, he spun and forced him off of him.
The Saiyan then threw a fist towards Taiyang.
But he rose his arms and his wristbands formed a golden shield but it cracked from the pressure.
Qrow tried to attack from behind again.
But Kron smiled turned and grabbed Qrow by the head and slammed his head into Taiyang's shield.
The Saiyan felt heat from behind, he turned and sees a fire ball, it crashed into him and exploded.
Raven stood tall with her hand outstretched to him.
Both Taiyang and Qrow stood up and took some steps back knowing better then to try to attack him from behind at this point.
Raven held up Omen and looked at her former protégé.
"Kron, why are you doing this?"
As bloodthirsty as he is, he still had the same habit of enjoying speaking to his opponents, she can use that to come up with a plan.
The Saiyan rose an eyebrow. "Because you're in my way, duh."
"I mean this." She glanced over at the village he destroyed. "You were always a beast but not to this degree, you only ever went after the huntsmen." She eyed the ruins of the village and sees a dead boy being held by a man most likely his father. "You always ignored the weak who couldn't fight back but now you seek to wipe out all life on Remnant, seems like quite the jump, why? How long have you wanted to do this?"
Even when he was a boy, she was terrified of him, she only kept him alive in hopes of learning his power. Or better yet to take it.
Now seeing how he progressed from a fighting maniac into a bloodthirsty war monger made it clear that she should have killed him.
Kron chuckled and thought of what to say. He could tell her what he was and why he's here and what he is but it might take too long, even for him.
Instead, the Saiyan looked up and at the sky.
"It's not really a jump Raven, this was something I always wanted to do." He explained looking at the sky. "Because if I don't someone else would take the glory."
He was thankful that no one was assigned this planet since it was so far away from PTO territory.
Qrow and Taiyang said nothing they were disturbed at how he described wiping out mankind as if it was casual. And that someone else might beat him to it. They wondered if he was aware of Salem.
Kron then took his fighting style. "But anyway, ready to finish this?"
The huntsmen wondered how they could get the better of him, even though he leaves himself open often they are barely strong enough to capitalize on it.
Raven put a hand across her chin making sure the two men were watching.
It was a signal, for one of their old team attacks without alerting Kron.
Both huntsmen looked to Raven and made subtle nods and looked to Kron.
The three former teammates stood at a corner of them forming a triangle.
Qrow ran forward intent on swinging Harbinger in its scythe form.
Kron turned and was about to strike.
But then the former bandit stopped mid swing.
The Saiyan looked confused as Qrow jumped back.
From behind Raven stabbed the ground with Omen in its Ice Dust blade it quickly spread beneath Kron.
The ice rose and trapped Kron in a case of ice.
While trapped the Saiyan was already breaking through.
But Taiyang smashed his fist through the ice into Kron's face.
The young man yelled as his body broke from the ice.
Blood leaked out of his mouth and the attacks actually hurt, but not enough to stop him, he used his Ki to try to stop midair and counterattack.
Before Kron could stop his momentum, Qrow was behind him and he swung his scythe towards his neck.
And it connected, however it didn't have the right amount of force to behead him, it did penetrate the side of the neck.
Kron growled and grabbed the blade before it could do any real damage to him.
"Damn it." Qrow was hoping to have cut his head off. He then slammed his boot against the Saiyan's back forcing him to stumble forward.
This power he has, must protect his vitals like Aura does. Oh well, he can at least do some damage.
He swung his scythe cutting across the Saiyan's armored back cutting through it and blood came out.
Kron turned and grabbed the scythe with an angry glare and aimed his hand prepping a Ki blast.
But to his side Taiyang ran and kicked up Kron's hand firing a Ki blast into the sky.
Kron turned and was about to strike him.
But Qrow pulled the trigger, a Fire Dust bullet hit his face forcing his head to turn.
Taiyang then slammed one of his shields across Kron's face forcing him back.
From behind Raven slashed across Kron's back covering him in flames.
Taiyang then smashed his fists into the ground creating a yellow explosion beneath their foe's feet.
The explosion sent Kron flying in the air in a flip.
Raven then jumped and rose a blade ready to aim for Kron's neck, her brother may not have the strength, but perhaps a Fully Realized Maiden could do it.
She slashed downward.
But Kron was still conscious and he slammed a kick into Raven's abdomen before her strike could connect.
Raven was sent flying and crashed through a tree.
"Rae!" Tai yelled seeing her crash into a rock. He felt anger seeing her like that after she built up the nerve to fight by her side. He looked up and was surprised to see no one there.
Kron appeared in front of Taiyang and slammed a fist into Taiyang's stomach and propelled him away.
Qrow tried to attack from behind.
But Kron was able to turn around grabbed his wrist holding Harbinger and squeezed.
*BREAK*
Qrow screamed as his wrist broke.
Kron then slammed an uppercut against his chin and sent him upward, he then grabbed his leg and slammed him against the ground.
Qrow's Aura started breaking down as red electricity started show. These attacks are harder than anything he's thrown. He was holding back this much?
Kron looked down at Qrow and slammed his boot against his midsection.
The huntsman looked up at Kron who grinned down at him.
He pointed at the nick at his neck. "If only Raven's lessons weren't so effective, using my Ki like how you use Aura really does make a difference." If it weren't for that he might have lost his head.
Qrow seemed confused, Ki, that's what his power's called?
Kron then aimed his hand down for Qrow's face.
"Let's see if your Aura can take this."
Qrow realized that he was going to die, his sister and Tai are a bit far from him hopefully they won't be affected. He glowed red activating his Semblance that the Void Vault had showed him to deactivate.
Kron's hand prepared a Ki blast hoping to take Qrow's head but he stopped and turned to see Raven standing and started running towards her.
"Tch" The Saiyan rolled his eyes. She should know how hopeless it is.
Raven knew this was stupid, that she could escape. But if she did, they die to. She couldn't let that happen.
She pulled out Omen ready to strike.
Kron aimed his Ki blast bored, like this was more of a pointless gesture than her thinking she can actually harm him.
In that split second, Cher, the previous Spring Maiden looked at Raven and at Kron. This boy was more dangerous than Raven had said. She hoped that she would get killed by him and that the 'Scourge of Remnant was just a propaganda stunt used to oppress the Faunus more.
She knew what she had to do.
Cher phased into Raven just as she did against Eclipse.
Kron was about to fire his blast.
But Raven pierced into Kron's chest before he could fire his Ki blast.
He screamed as he felt the stab, it was strong, it pierced against his rib cage.
Raven's Maiden fire had grown from the merger with Cher.
The Maiden didn't expect to actually do anything against him, but the adrenaline made her focus and kicked into Kron's stomach and propelled him away.
Kron looked shocked as he was sent away from the trio, he looked shocked from the force of her attacks and crashed through a boulder, he felt more pain than he had in a long time.
Without hesitation Raven rose her hands to the side, one filled with lightning and the other filled with fire. She then swung her hands forward releasing a beam that mixes fire and lightning like she had used to defeat Eclipse in the Prime timeline.
Kron stood up and looked surprised seeing a wave of fire with lightning surrounding it, the attack connected and surrounded him in flames and electricity.
He was electrocuted and burning and the pressure pushed him away, the forest around him was trapped in flames and streaks of electricity as well.
Qrow looked surprised as he sat up, that power, he knew Fully Realized Maidens were powerful, but not by this much. Was this the Shrine's doing? Cher agreed to help? Did his Semblance cause that for bad luck to affect him?
Raven knelt and hit a knee, panting, her body felt an explosion of pain. She was relieved that Cher had helped, but she was focused on something else. A body, there's no body. Maybe it's hidden behind the flames.
"You did it."
She turned to Taiyang who grabbed his side and walked forward smiling.
"It's over Rae, you did it." He smiled chuckling.
Raven suddenly couldn't focus seeing that smile, one she hadn't seen in so long. "Tai, please, focus, we shouldn't relax until we see a body."
Taiyang nodded and looked at the forest fire. "He's strong, but I doubt even Salem would come back from that." He chuckled and looked at Raven. "Rae, you could've run but you didn't."
Raven started to soften, she tried to remain on task but she couldn't help but be affected by this.
Taiyang looked at Raven and smiled. "Rae, thank you." He said with a smile.
Raven stood up but couldn't help but smile back for a second.
That moment of happiness turned to horror.
Suddenly Taiyang's mouth opened and blood started to flow out of his mouth, a pain formed at his chest. He looked down to see a hand glowing with red energy, shaped like an ursa's claw.
Raven and Qrow looked horrified at the sight.
Kron was standing behind Taiyang, the left shoulder of his armor was melted, showing the scar that Raven had given him in the first time she tried to kill him.
He was standing behind Taiyang with his hand piercing Taiyang's chest and shown covered in blood on the other side.
"Ursa Claw." He spoke coldly and pulled it back.
Taiyang looked down at his chest. A huge hole was where his heart used to be, likely destroyed by his technique, he looked at the sibling pair.
"Rae, Qrow" He fell to his knees. "Run" He fell and closed his eyes.
"Tai!" Raven and Qrow yelled seeing the other surviving member of Team STRQ gone forever.
Kron looked down at Taiyang's body, too bad, he was the first hand to hand fighter he met since Hazel and now he's dead.
Not to mention he had more skill than the brute.
Oh well, time to move on to the rest.
Kron looked at Raven and saw her shocked expression, his Ursa Claw faded and he smiled. "That attack you threw at me, a mix of fire and lightning." He smiled while putting a hand on his chin. "Plasma Torrent!"
Raven was silent looking at Taiyang's corpse and at Kron. He didn't show any remorse at all. In fact, he was playful like killing was so easy to do. He was cruel as a child but he wasn't so playful after a kill.
He, had somehow gotten worse.
"That's what you should call your fire lightning mix attack." Kron said smiling. "So yell Plasma Torrent when you fire it ok? That should give it a bit more oomph."
Qrow was shocked, he knew from Raven how cruel he was but to this extent? She should have killed him when he had the chance.
Raven ran forward and screamed. "You monster!" In this moment Raven didn't care about what would happen, only that she would take him with her.
"Wait!" Qrow yelled knowing that this wouldn't end well.
Kron had a blank look watching Raven running at him, he looked behind Raven to see Qrow about to stand.
He smiled as he vanished just as Raven was right in front of him.
Raven looked all over and turned around suspecting he was behind her and was shocked at what she was seeing.
Kron held up Qrow by his neck.
For a long time, Raven treated Qrow like a traitor to her family, even though he had seemed to not give up on her.
"Kron" Raven began. "Don't"
Kron shrugged his shoulders. "Don't toy with him?" He asked. "You always said that whenever I fought huntsmen weaker than me, don't worry hag, I'll do as you said, I'll finish him now."
Raven shook her head. "Please"
Kron scoffed hearing that, she was the most Saiyan human he met and she's acting like this? Guess she is human after all.
Pathetic.
"Raven" Qrow began as he was pulled closer. "Ozpin, go to him." He said it like it was more urgent than what was going to happen.
"No!" Raven yelled and tried to unleash a fire ball only for nothing to happen, her body was still recovering from the merge with Cher.
*CRACK!*
Raven's entire world had stopped as her brother's body grew limp.
Kron let go of Qrow's body, he then nonchalantly kicked his body.
The corpse landed in front of Raven beside Taiyang's.
Raven looked down at the duo and she dropped to her knees.
Kron rolled his eyes at the side. "What is wrong with you?"
She looked up at him confused.
"Why are you acting so weak?" He asked. "Isn't this what you taught me?"
She shook as she said this as a tear started form.
"The strong live and the weak die." Kron quoted. "You should be angry at how weak they are, not" He tilted his head as he saw a tear leave her eye. "Whatever this is." Was disgusted at the reaction she was giving.
This Kron was a typical Saiyan, no compassion or remorse for his actions like Kron Prime had developed, just a drive for power, a distaste for weakness, and indifferent towards the suffering of others.
Raven stood up with all she had and she glared at the monster. If only she knew better, she knew how dangerous he was and gave him time to grow stronger, she should have gone through with the kill. She should have killed him when they first met!
That is a mistake she will correct no matter what.
All around Raven wind Magic started to flare, she couldn't use much magic but it was enough to create small gusts of winds, that were strong enough to move Qrow and Taiyang's bodies slightly.
She had an angry glare determined to take him down no matter the cost.
And no matter who she had to side with.
Kron looked at her angry face and smirked. "There we go, now you look like a warrior." He chuckled and motioned a finger for her to attack.
Raven flew forward with what little magic she could use.
Kron smiled as Raven flew towards him.
She had to be quick with this, she looked behind her as her magic levitated Qrow and Taiyang's bodies off the ground.
Quickly she used wind magic to create a small dust storm.
Kron had to cover his face to avoid his eyes getting hit by the dirt.
Raven slashed Omen a few feet before she could get close to Kron, a portal opened. Raven and her former teammates bodies floated not far behind her.
Kron put his hands down and his eyes widened. She was gone and so were the bodies of her friends.
He growled looking around, damn it, she tricked him.
He smashed a fist into a tree, angry at himself for letting the hag run.
But the Saiyan shrugged.
Oh well, he had work to do.
Maybe he should replace his damaged armor.
Hopefully not all the humans had evacuated the island, after this the largest island is next.
Ozpin was shocked at what he was seeing, he was trying to get a hold of Taiyang and Qrow hoping they would listen and not go to Patch.
And suddenly a familiar portal opened.
Raven covered in wounds was on the ground with Qrow and Taiyang's bodies beside her.
"Ozpin" She looked up at him shocked. "Save them" She knew it was impossible, especially for Taiyang but did it anyway. She fell, unconscious.
Immediately Ozpin had contacted the medic to help them, unfortunately only one had survived.
Raven awoke to a tiled ceiling.
Her eyes widened when she remembered what felt like happening moments ago.
"Raven?"
The black haired woman turned to see someone she vowed never to see.
Ozpin looked at her with a worried look.
She pushed herself up but grimaced.
The headmaster rose his arms. "Stop, your still too injured for sudden movements."
He was right her entire body felt waves of pain, that got worst from her moving.
But remembering what happened, she had one priority.
"Qrow and Tai are they…" She stopped, of course they weren't ok. She knew that, with a sigh she demanded. "Let me see them." Raven said.
Ozpin would have said to rest first, but he knew that she would force herself anyway even in her current state. "You should know, she's there."
Raven took a second hearing that and she squeezed her fists, she had the urge to avoid this. But she couldn't not now.
The former leader of the Branwen Tribe forced herself out.
In the hall she forced herself to move pushing Ozpin away when he offered her aid. She walked until he brought her to a door with two girls she never seen looking saddened in front of the door.
One was a black haired girl with a bow, the other was one with white hair in a pony tail.
"Ozpin?" Blake asked looking at the older black haired woman. "Who's this?"
Raven didn't respond she kept a hardened gaze.
"She's here to see them, Miss Belladonna."
The black and white duo looked at each other.
Weiss spoke seriously. "They asked to be alone." Specifically Yang did, she wanted to be strong for her sister and she couldn't do it in front of them.
"She's family." Ozpin said to them.
Raven shook hearing that word, family. Something she always mistook her tribe for.
The girls stepped aside as Raven got closer.
Outside the room sounds of crying could be heard.
Raven put a hand on the door, she knew who was behind this door. Her instincts told her to run, that it was better that she couldn't see her.
She pushed the door open.
Inside there were two beds, with Qrow and Taiyang strapped to machines.
Both were unmoving.
Between the two were a duo of girls that Raven was familiar with.
The smaller girl turned with silver eyes and tears flowing out, she was shaking in the arms of the older girl with blonde hair.
She looked just like Summer.
The blonde next to her turned with tears as well coming out of her purple eyes.
Raven had seen her without her knowing she was there, but it was another thing seeing her look back at her.
"Yang" She muttered as she looked at her former flame and brother.
Yang had been doing her best to remain strong like she had when Summer disappeared, but seeing her mother hear, feelings of abandonment filled her mind. And she immediately felt rage.
Her daughter stood up as her sister only looked confused and still crying.
She walked until she was staring eye to eye with Raven, she glared with teary eyes.
Raven frowned seeing her face. "Yang, I-"
"All this time." Yang interrupted, in a tone so harsh you wouldn't think she had been crying. "Seventeen years, you never showed up, you left me with and dad before I could remember you."
Raven didn't respond, she didn't know what to do or so. All she thought to do was to keep quiet and let her speak.
"And when you finally show up." Yang shook angry and crying. "My father and uncle are dead! Did you leave them to? When they needed you?"
She squeezed her knuckles so hard that they cracked.
Raven can see the pain she was going through, the pain she caused from leaving her. And the pain she caused by allowing Kron to fester.
"Yang, I'm sorry."
That did it.
Yang rose a fist and was about to throw it in her grief and rage.
But Ozpin had grabbed her wrist.
Yang turned her red eyes at Ozpin as if she was going to attack him.
"Miss Xiao Long please." Ozpin had said. "Raven fought at their side with everything she had." He explained as he let go of her wrist.
Yang said nothing but looked at Raven for a few seconds she can see the bruises and cuts all over her body. And she seemed to be struggling staying on her feet.
It had to be true.
But she didn't have the willpower to accept it. She just turned to see her sister alone crying between the most important people in their lives.
Yang wanted to hit Raven, to hit someone.
But she knew that it was unfair to blame her for this.
"Leave us, please." She said to her and walked back to her sister's side and wrapped an arm around her trying to remain strong for her.
Raven looked at her daughter and watched as she comforted Summer's daughter through the pain they share.
Something she could never do.
Raven walked out of the room as she was asked while looking at the last remaining members of her team.
Yang looked at her loved ones alive and dead. This monster, the Scourge of Remnant, she was going to find him and make her pay before he can take anyone else from her. Her friends, her team, her sister, she's going to make sure no one else is taken from her.
Raven had been escorted back to her room and looked down at her lap contemplating everything.
"She knows you did everything you could," Ozpin said. "She just needs time to mourn."
She didn't respond, the boy she chose over her daughter had brought pain and loss to her.
When he was a child, she allowed him to indulge in his violent tendencies, she thought of having him tame it for the tribe's safety.
But she didn't want to risk losing someone with so much power, she knew he had plotted to kill her in time.
Still, she had if there was any he had for her, she had broken in it when she tried to kill her for following the Branwen Tribe's philosophy.
Kron may have been violent naturally, but she did nothing to teach him control.
Would he have remained the same if she hadn't been a hypocrite? Or would he had been at her side in the tribe like she had wanted?
At any rate, Qrow and Taiyang were gone, all because of her fear of Salem.
Ozpin can see he was being ignored, with a saddened look he walked away.
"I couldn't trust you."
He stopped and looked at her, she was still looking at her lap.
"I still don't trust you, you recruit children and raise them to fight in a war you know you can never win and keep your secrets." She said to him. "That's why you had Summer's daughter inducted early, so she can be your new weapon like we were." She said to him. "Like her mother was."
Ozpin said nothing and allowed her to continue. What she said wasn't wrong and she was mourning as well.
"But I made a worse mistake." She finally looked at him. "I've been reading up, I found papers of these Artifacts, I couldn't find any on my own, but I did find the Spring Shrine."
Ozpin suspected that, she had been to many of his safehouses, even ones she never been to.
"And I know how Taiyang and Qrow had gotten so strong." She had thought of having Qrow and Taiyang convince him to allow her to use it, but now she had to ask the man she wanted to avoid.
"Ozpin give me the chance to correct my mistake." She demanded. "Let me use the Void Vault."
The headmaster wouldn't allow someone like her the opportunity for more power.
In most timelines.
"Very well, thank you Raven."
Raven didn't respond, she only had one thought and one goal.
To end her greatest mistake, even if it kills her.
Even if she has to work with the man he wanted to avoid.
Something she wouldn't do in most timelines.
But she will do this, for her the man she left, and the brother she exiled.
And of course, for the daughter she abandoned.
Days Later
Kron had finished wiping Patch off the map and flew above the largest island he had invaded so far.
He read up on this island, Menagerie, the island that was given to the Faunus after the Great War for their service.
The joke is that two-thirds of the island was a desert and uninhabitable.
Even Frieza had made better agreements from what he heard.
Now though it was going to be all desert.
Kron looked at the largest building on Menagerie.
He focused his signature technique and aimed his fists forward.
"Berringel Burst" He fired the powerful red energy blast.
Inside the building, little did he know a woman who became important to him in other timelines was going by her day preparing a meal for herself and her husband.
She was by the window in the back and looked outside it seeing a red light headed for her building.
It was the last thing she'd ever see.
The house crumbled and caused a panic for the residents.
Kron smiled hearing the screams and flew over to the island determined to finish the inhabitants.
Blake had a saddened look as she was walking through the halls of Beacon.
She felt so bad for Ruby and Yang. She didn't know them long but just thinking of the loss they went through is just awful to think about.
She and Weiss have done as much as they can for them, but nothing they do seems to be heling. The best they can do is be there for them, and that's what she'll do.
Just as she was on her way to her dorm room the T.V. hanging over the hall lit up and showed a familiar image.
It was of her home.
Blake looked distraught at the site, she herself had suffered a tragedy days after Ruby and Yang did.
She fell to her knees and she started shedding tears.
On the screen was Menagerie covered in flames and homes destroyed from a distance.
The news titled it, Menagerie Suffers the Scourge.
Kron held a large man by the neck, he was as large as Hazel but not as strong, much to his annoyance.
Once his prey was dead, he dropped him in front of the first home he destroyed.
"Was this where this panther lived? Makes sense since his men were calling him Chief." He said as he walked forward at the destroyed him.
This was part of the process, after destroying a settlement he liked to explore his handiwork in hopes of learning more of the place's history.
He walked until he saw a table that was destroyed and what looked like fish on the floor.
With hunger he walked forward and noticed something, a woman with a large pillar of stone on her back, she had amber eyes and black cat ears.
"So, you were the wife that big guy was on about?" He asked unimpressed at the fragile corpse. He bent down and grabbed the salmon on the floor and ate it.
His eyes widened it tasted good. He immediately devoured all the salmon weather it was on a plate or on the floor like a savage.
"Ok, I can see why he'd be angry at you dying." He said as he finished another salmon, it was better than anything else he had when raiding destroyed homes for food. "You may look weak but you sure can cook." He swallowed the food and grunted when there wasn't any left.
"Hmm" He sighed disappointed that there wasn't enough to fill his belly.
"Damn, killing you almost feels like a waste." He said to the corpse. "Almost"
Kron walked away intend on finding food elsewhere.
The corpse he was talking to of course was Kali Belladonna, the woman in the Prime Timeline that had shaken his world view.
The woman this Kron never met, and thus began the end of Remnant.
Fu's Hideout
Fu had a rare grimace look on his face.
"Oh, man, that was something I did not need to see." He shook at what he had seen. "Ok, I think this timeline has made it clear, this Kron is not changing." He sighed. "Y'know I think this is one timeline where I am rooting for Raven."
He froze when he said that and made a face as if he had tasted something vile.
"Feels weird saying that considering her Prime Timeline counterpart, but, looking at how much worse this Kron is, and how this version of Raven is I'm hoping that she will be able to put him down."
He then smiled and looked at the camera. "How bout you, you rooting for this timeline's Raven?"
He chuckled and looked at his scrolls.
"Before we begin, I have to say one thing." Fu said. "I decided that from now on there should always be a vote everytime we do this, I think it's more fun if you guys keep choosing what we watch so, we won't be viewing whatever takes second place now."
"Alright so I don't have a scroll that continues this timeline so now we got other options, let's see what we got."
He pulled out a box with four different scrolls.
"Option A: What if Kron's pod landed near Salem's castle?" He placed the scroll on the table. "Since I don't have the scroll to continue this timeline, here's an option that gives us another evil Kron. Now the question will this Kron end up destroying Remnant or will his goal change? One way to find out!"
He pulled out another.
"Option B: What if Kron was female?" The demon chuckled. "If you want to see how different Cerna is from Kron, try this out, trust me the timeline's more different than it sounds."
Another scroll.
"Option C: What if Kron's pod landed near Atlas part 2" He smiled. "The contiuation, it's still up in the air how this version of Kron is going to turn out, he's still growing up, let's hope Ironwood knows what he's doing."
And the last scroll.
"Option D: What if Kid Kron had killed Raven." He placed it on the table. "This is the timeline where nine year old Kron had killed Raven Branwen. Remember this Kron had met Kali so he's changed, only his goal of killing Raven in the Prime Timeline is already completed, how different would this timeline be if he had gotten his way? Who gets her Maiden power? Vernal or her abandoned daughter? Ooh, the possibilities."
"Alright that's all the timelines, let's hope the next one will be less… depressing." He chuckled. "But hey that depends on you guys!" He pointed two fingers at us.
"Remember the rules, you guys got one week after today." He explained. "If any option has Zero votes it will be replaced with a different option, if I don't have the scroll to continue pass that option then we can't vote on it for a while until I find it! And be sure to tell me what other timelines you guys want to see, I'm sure there's one for everybody!"
He crossed his legs and floated.
"Thank you for watching, I'll see you all next time!" He waved. "Byyye!"
Fu vanished, no doubt to cause trouble for his own amusement.
Leaving us with the timelines to choose.
Not gonna lie it hurt to write that Kali death scene. I couldn't bring myself to write him killing her up front, but it still sucked.
That was to make it clear that Scourge Kron is not going to change. Remnant is doomed, no matter how much Fu wishes it wasn't. And now the timeline is on pause because Part three has something that spoils the Prime Timeline, hope you guys understand.
