Episode 3: Sakura's Goodbye.

Although the two girls said they wouldn't do anything about Sakura, they did. For the next 3 days they told everyone that Sakura was a medical prodigy, hoping that was enough to turn things in their direction.

So the day of the team selection, everyone woke up and got ready. They headed to school with anxiety and mixed excitement.

When Sakura arrived she immediately rushed to Sasuke.

Sakura: Good morning, Sasuke!

The triplets just side eyed and death stared at her.

Sakura: Do you mind if I sit next to you?

Sizilien: Actually, he does. Unfortunately there is no room for you to sit so I suppose you have to sit next to Choji.

Sakura stomped off after that statement. Many other girls crowded around the triplets and Naruto's table. Suddenly a girl bumped into Naruto and shoved Sizilien and him together, their lips met in a kiss. She blushed, but then angrily shoved him away. Neveda and Sasuke beat his ass. Then Iruka showed up and everyone settled down.

Iruka: As of today you are all ninjas. To get here, you faced difficult trials and hardships. But that's nothing. What comes next will be far more difficult. Now you are only genin- first level ninjas. All the genin will be grouped into three man squads, unless, of course you are notified otherwise. Each squad will be led by a Jonin- and elite ninja. We want each squad to get along with each other and

have strong abilities, so that's how we set them up. I will now announce the squads.

A couple minutes later.

Iruka: Squad 7- Sizilien Uchiha, Neveda Uchiha, and Sasuke Uchiha. Naruto, your mentor will be the Jonin in charge of team 7. Squad 8- Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame.

One minute later,

Iruka: Squad 10- Ino Yamanaka, Shikimaru Nara, and Choji Akimichi. Those are all the squads.

Sakura: What about me? Sir?

Iruka: You will be going to the academy for medical ninjutsu in the village hidden in the Mist. Pack your bags because you're leaving tomorrow.

Sakura: HUH?!

Random girl: How come the triplets get to be on a team together?

Iruka: Because they work well together. After lunch you will all meet your new Jonin teachers. Until then, class dismissed.

Everyone left and Sakura went to find Sasuke so she could say goodbye.

Sakura: Sasuke, where are you? Where did he go?... I wanted to say goodbye since we aren't gonna see each other for a while…

Naruto: Hey, Sakura. I wanted to wish you well at your new school. I'm gonna miss you. The triplets wanted to say goodbye, but they wanted to get some training in before the teams got together.

Sakura: Go away Naruto!

Naruto: But-

Sakura: You're so annoying!

Sakura walks off to continue looking for Sasuke.

Naruto: But- uh…

He sighs.

So, Sakura ate lunch alone that day, nervously thinking about what her new school would be like.

Sakura: It's fine, Sakura. It's not like there's a big rush or anything. You're not leaving today. Plus I'm sure the school won't take that long, I'll be back before I know it. But still.

Sakura sighs.

Sakura: It's not like he'll care anyway. Him and both his sisters hate me. I'm not even that attractive.

As time passed, the triplets passed by Sakura on their way back from training.

Sakura: Oh! Sasuke! I wanted to say goodbye since I'm leaving and all but I couldn't find you. I'm really going to miss you!

Sasuke: Leave me alone. You're annoying and I don't like you.

Sizilien: Sasuke!

Sasuke walks away as Sakura begins to cry. Sizilien and Neveda comfort her.

Sizilien: He crossed the line. I'm sorry Sakura.

Neveda: Yeah. We'll still miss you.

After Sakura went home the two girls talked amongst themselves sadly.

Neveda: I kind of feel bad now. Do you think it's our fault that Sasuke hates Sakura even more than he did in the show?

Sizilien: Maybe… But I'm sure she'll be happy. It's like boarding school. This will also probably stop her from marrying Sasuke, so that's a plus.

Sakura went home and to her room and sat on her bed sadly.

Sakura: I'm annoying? He couldn't have meant that. But… I am pretty rude to Naruto. I feel bad. I'll probably never get a chance to apologize. I shouldn't treat him like that. When I get back from school I'll be super nice to him!

Back with the triplets, Naruto and them walked back to class together in silence.
