In the episode, The Mirror, Elisa and then all of Manhattan were turned into gargoyles but quickly turned back before the night was over. What if everything did not end as swiftly though changes here and there prevent the battle & conclusion from happening before the sunrise. Thus while the majority of Manhattan is reverted a small group of others and Elisa are not changed back

This story is going to be undergoing so revising over time. I decided quite a long time ago that things were not going how I wanted with this story. There were things I wanted to cover that were not being covered at all. Smaller details that I wanted to flush out and explore but was not doing it. Thus I decided to go back and rework it from the beginning. One thing I wanted to attempt was flush out and exploring the Mirror Life storyline though the POV of Elisa, Beth, and Ray as well as other original characters like herself. Thus why there are chapter with their names on them currently.

So Chapters 01-06 are the original version of this story. Rather then delete it I decided that I would leave it up for now. My current goal is the slowly replace the original six chapter. With the that have names as part of the chapter title, those that are closer in line to how I wanted things to go but was not able to do the first time around. The first new chapters of this current rewrite of the story are Elisa 01-03
