Author's Note: Trying something different thus rewriting the story. Starting with these two chapters

Beth Maza is the youngest of the trio of Maza siblings including Elisa and Derek. Though she did not currently live in Manhattan like the rest of her family. She managed to get to a college in Arizona called Flagstaff where she was studying the ethnic heritage of her father's side of the family. Rather interesting that despite not following in her older sibling's footsteps and becoming a part of the police force like their father. Beth doing more of a mixture where she kind of follows in both of her parent's footsteps to a degree. In that, she goes to school to study her father's heritage mostly(since was going to Arizona which was her father's home) but she might in becoming a teacher like her mother. Depending on where she went from there as she merely studying at the moment.

Though what she kept hidden from her family was that she had started a relationship with someone that she had met online using this new thing that Xanatos Enterprises had given and installed before she had to get there. A bunch of personal computers capable of accessing two things she learned about after coming to Flagstaff. The internet and email, which was supposed to be used mostly for studies and research only.

Of course, that was only in theory as she quickly learned how to use the email feature to converse with her friends that she had made on campus and one that she met online that seem to have similar interests as her. With an interest in the culture of Native American, African, African American, and the mixture of the two, this person shared it all with them. So the two emailed each other often almost every day though so for some reason they would only reply to her at night. She would never get a reply from them during the day which did not seem as too strange as it was not easy gaining access to these computers.

When she revealed she was going to be coming to Manhattan for short time to visit the Flagstaff remote site. Which is how she got introduced to college on the other side of the country. She informed them and the person she was basically online dating at this point that she be there. Having learned that he was not in Arizona himself but within the Manhattan area. He thought she was mad at him for not revealing this sooner but claim it was alright as would not be the first time someone close to her was not telling her everything. Revealed that she felt her older sister and brother were hiding things from her as well. Coming up with a meeting spot she told him where they meet up in person for the first time. Meeting with a stranger that they met online, he was curious if this was the right thing to do. Beth was sure about this but assured him she considered herself a decent judge of character even if they had only known each other through emails.

Beth then arrived in the city looking around at the place where they were supposed to meet. Though looking around waiting for him she was curious if he would really show up here. They agreed to meet her at night and she trusted him that there was a reason they could not do this during the day similar to how he would never reply or send an email during it either.

It was then that it happened Puck's spell spread across all of Manhattan turning everyone within the city itself into gargoyles. This as result included Beth who is now a gargoyle herself that retains her skin color similar but not exact to her original human one to how Elisa's skin is as a gargoyle.

Unaware of her change naturally from human to a gargoyle and without anyone around to correct this as Elisa would have with Goliath and the others. Beth just continues to wait for him to arrive to meet her here at their meeting spot. Stretching her wings as she yawns getting tired of waiting and starting to think she had been stood up as she begins to play with her tail.

"Beth" a voice then calls out to her

"Xander" she replies "what are you doing over there come over here so I see you more clearly," Beth told him

"Not sure really" the voice replies

"Come here now," Beth says growling as her eyes glow red for a moment.

"Fine" they reply coming to greet her

She sees a dark purple gargoyle guy with white hair that is around her age.

"See that was not so hard now was it, Xander," she said

"I told you before I want to be called..." he started to say but she interrupted him

"Yes...Yes, you want to be called Alexander after Alexander the Great. However, to me, you are just Xander" Beth informs him as she pokes at his chest with her finger "Got that"

"Now where do you want to go as you are paying for being late for our meeting," she said while smiling at him.

"There is actually somewhere I would like to go," he tells her

"Well then lead the way as I alright finished my business for school for the night," she told him

Xander wonders if that were true or merely how she was made to think currently. A natural gargoyle he was shocked to see Beth as one herself knowing for sure she was supposed to be human. However, he was not originally planning on meeting her but merely want to just see her once with his own eyes. Although now that she was here before him a gargoyle like himself he was losing this chance as whatever did this to her to this entire city he was not let it get undone or worse affect him in some strange way.

Thus Beth was taken out of the city of Manhattan completely by Xander towards where he claimed was his place. Somewhere he had been staying recently himself.

"So this is why I could not contact you recently, huh," Beth asked overlooking the view she had of the horizon.

"Hey, Xander look at that wonderful,..."Beth said with a smile on her face as she began pointing at the sunrise until well she turned to stone

Xander just himself smiled looking up and noticing a spell that covered Manhattan had not reached here just like he had hoped as being taller than Beth. He was able to see her enter into stone sleep before himself as he just marveled at her stone form in the few instances he had before he entered into himself. Leave them both just statue for the entire day as come the following night a new and different chapter would start in Beth's life similar to what it was going to be in both Elisa's and Ray's
