WAVE
"Surf's up, dudes!" Kirishima shouted as Ojiro rode him like a surfboard. Todoroki hung ten next to him on a slab of ice, while Tsuyu forewent surfboards entirely in favor of swimming in the wave.
Further down the beach, Kaminari, Mineta, Sato, and Ochako braced themselves as the wave barreled towards them. While the others were tall enough to stay above water, Mineta got swept away and wound up buried up-side-down.
Further in the water, Shoji scrambled away while an octopus angrily chased after him, Sato churned water swimming with all his sugar-infused might, and Aoyama guided ships to shore with his navel laser.
Well away from the roiling waves, Koda fed crackers to some crabs scuttling along the sand, Tokoyami hid himself underneath multiple layers of parasols and towels, and Jirou and Hagakure both sunbathed while listening to rock music.
Iida and Yaoyorozu clinked their pina coladas together and sipped while they watched their classmates. "It was awfully kind of you to allow us the usage of your family's private property," Iida said.
"Eh, felt like a waste just letting it sit empty so much. We don't even use this one anymore, since our Fiji resort has twenty-four karat gold sand."
While Iida digested that tidbit and the luxurious cheese platter he had sampled, the water suddenly receded away from the shore, leaving fish flopping in meager pools, Ochako yelling at the moon to give her water back, and Kirishima buried face-first in the sand under Ojiro's feet.
"We better get inside," Yaoyorozu said. "The water receding like that means a tsunami's coming."
Bakugo snorted. "A tsunami? Obviously Deku stole the oceans in the robots' nefarious plot to take over the world."
Jiro pressed an ear to the sand and blanched. "Momo, get the fridge."
Water rose over the horizon. And rose. And rose. A massive wall of water blocked out the sky, devouring clouds in its path and leaving the jagged splinters of a shattered civilization in its wake. Shoji peered closer and said, "Izuku's surfing the wave."
"Ha! Told you."
"Everyone in the fridge, now!" Momo snapped.
Everyone squeezed into the walk-in fridge, and Momo sealed it shut. The room shuddered as the wave passed over it. When they opened it up, the rest of the mansion was gone.
"Now what do we do?" Ojiro asked.
Moments later, the wave rose again on the horizon. Everyone glanced at the rack of surfboards inexplicably untouched by the last wave and ran for them. When the wave rushed at them, they all surfed up its side. Inko gave them a wave, dangling her feet over the side of a green metallic surfboard while she did her taxes. Izuku said, "Hi guys. I am a surfboard now."
"You guys realize that you destroyed the world, right?"
Inko shrugged. "I'll put it back later."
Meanwhile, Mineta finally pulled his head out of the sand and looked around, only to see the massive wave making a third pass towards him.
