The group got bigger when brock the pewter city decided to come with
Misty and brock were very confused by Lincoln's magic especially when he teleported them out of the sinking s.s Anne or when shrunk the giant tentacruel back to normal size with a wave of his hand
when asked Lincoln simply responds with magic before going on his merry way
Lincoln and ash actually started dating a little bit after meeting brock
team rocket started to follow them though trying to catch ash's pikachu because of it's sheer power so that was a bit annoying
but right now the group was on a ferry
"hey guys look!" Misty said point at the island up ahead
"Great! That must be Maiden's Peak, that's where we get off. We'll be landing soon!" Ash said
"yup!" Lincoln said
"It wouldn't matter to me if I never saw land again. I just wasted another summer." Brock said
"But we had a whole summer of adventures." Ash said
"yeah brock we had a great summer!" Lincoln said
"For you, summer means adventures and whatever that second thing you look forward to is. To kids, summer means playing on the beach, splashing around and having fun, but for me.. summer means, bathing suits and girls to wear them!" Brock said as he dropped to his knees "Now bikini season's over and I'll have to wait another year to meet a girl!"
"if you meet my sisters and try to flirt with them I will make sure it's the last thing you do in this mortal plane." Lincoln said while using magic to make his eyes glow red
"you have sisters?" Ash Misty and brock asked
(aw crap.) Lincoln thought to himself "yes I do."
"can you tell us more about them?" Misty asked
"no." Lincoln said
"not even for your boyfriend?" Ash asked
Lincoln blushed before saying "fine. I have 10 sisters 5 older 5 younger."
"10!?" The group asked
"yes and look at that we're here." Lincoln said as he got ready to get off the boat
they got off the boat and looked around noticing the festival going on
"it's the end of summer festival!" Misty said
"sweet!" Lincoln said

Lincoln was eating a candy apple when misty and ash came over while pulling brock
"ok what happened?" Lincoln asked
"something about a woman." Misty said "it was a statue."
"odd." Lincoln said when he noticed a vendor selling evolution stones "I'll be right back."
Lincoln approached the vendor
"excuse me would you happen to have a dusk stone?" Lincoln asked
"that I do." The vendor said
Lincoln bought the stone and sent out his murkrow
"hey little buddy are you ready to evolve?" Lincoln asked
murkrow immediately touched the stone and evolved into honchkrow
"way to go!" Lincoln said
soon they approached the peak and watched an unveiling
"Welcome! To celebrate the Summer's End Festival, we will now display the Shrine of the Maiden's greatest treasure! For two-thousand years, this painting has hung within the Shrine of the Maiden. Once each year, it is removed from the shrine and displayed to the public during this festival. As I unveil the painting, please gaze with reverence." The host said as she unveiled
"it's her!" Brock said
Lincoln snapped his fingers and knocked brock out while a other person (who he knew was Jessie) knocked out a man (who was James)
"She was in love with a brave and handsome young man, but he left her and sailed away to fight in a war." The host explained And she did wait for a very long time, hoping to see his ship on the horizon. But her true love never returned to that place again. Still, she waited and waited, never moving from that spot. Until, finally, her body was turned into stone, just like the cliff upon which she stood. To this day, she waits for her love to return."
"how tragic." Lincoln said as he held brock
Later that evening at the Pokemon centre
Lincoln was relaxing when he noticed brock was gone
"do you guys know where brock is?" Lincoln asked
"he went to go find the statue that the host mentioned after I told him about it." Misty said
"i don't like the look of this." Lincoln said as he began to head outside
"hey isn't passed your bed time?" Nurse joy asked
Lincoln simply snapped his fingers and teleported
Lincoln began to look around for brock with ash and Misty eventually joining up with him
"any luck?" Misty asked
"none yet." Lincoln said
eventually they came across Jessie and Meowth
"you again!" Ash said
"why am I not surprised?" Lincoln said
"I finally found you! Oh wait you're not who I'm looking for." Jessie said
"are you looking for someone else too?" Ash asked
" Prepare for trouble, and make it double. Doing this by myself is a real drag." Jessie said
"I'd say that's a yes." Lincoln said
"To protect the world from devastation, to unite all peoples within our nation. To denounce the evils of truth and love." Jessie said
"To extend our reach to the stars above." James said from inside a nearby shrine
"Jessie?" Jessie said confused
"James." James said from within the shrine
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!" Jessie said
"surrender now or prepare to fight!" James said as he came out of the shrine not looking to good
"oh that's not good." Lincoln said
the brock came out looking equally unwell
"that's really not good." Lincoln said
"So, everything turned out just as I predicted." An elder woman said
"you're the woman from yesterday!" Misty said
Lincoln immediately felt something off about her
"hey ash could I borrow your pokedex?" Lincoln asked
"sure." ash said
Lincoln pointed the pokedex at the woman
"Pokémon entry found. Gastly, a Ghost Pokémon. It is usually invisible. It's specialty is hypnosis."
"I had a feeling." Lincoln said as he snapped his fingers causing brock and James to go back to normal "so you tried to play us for fools?"
"So you finally figured it out. Sometimes I'm the ghost of the two-thousand year old maiden..." the old lady said before shifting into the maiden an turning back "and sometimes I'm the mysterious old woman!"
"congrats brock you've been played." Lincoln joked
"But, no matter what the disguise, I'll always be.." the old lady began before turning into her true form a gastly
"Awfully Gastly." Gastly said
"I'm going to make you die again." Lincoln said
"Well, Gastly, time for a battle! Pikachu!" Ash said as pikachu rushed forward
"My hypnotic powers can work on other Pokémon, too. Including little rodents!" Gastly said before turning into a mouse trap
Meowth tried to attack but got distracted by a ball
Jessie and James sent out koffing and ekans but they were stopped by a giant Yungoos in a gas mask
when gastly fused a venusaur and a blastoise together Lincoln finally had enough
"that's it!" Lincoln said as he opened a huge portal
out of the portal came a giant blue beast with red eyes causing everyone to freak out
"oh god damn it I did not want obelisk the tormentor." Lincoln said before waving his hand sending obelisk back "let me try that again."
Lincoln open another portal which dropped a real Venustoise
"my turn." Lincoln said before a bunch of shadowy hands held the illusion venustoise in place "now use sludge bomb!"
the real venustoise obliterated the illusion one with sludge bomb
"you think you've won." Gastly asked
Lincoln drew a circle in the air creating a small ball of light causing gastly to back away
"yes." Lincoln said "yes I do."
suddenly the sun began to rise and church bells started to ring
"Don't forget the ghost of the Maiden! She and the old lady will return next year, too!" Gastly said before fading away
"sooo who's up for pancakes?" Lincoln asked
venustoise agreed
"you want to stay?" Lincoln asked
venustoise nodded
"sweet!" Lincoln said as he threw a pokeball and caught venustoise
