The next day was December 15th. The start of Luke's birthweek and his actual birthday. Luke was still asleep this morning.

Leni was preparing Luke's birthday donuts as it was the breakfast of the day. These were pre-made donuts from the best donut shop in town and Charity spared no expense on them. And she paid extra to make sure they were High School Musical-themed.

Charity wanted this day and the rest of the week to be perfect for her sweet baby boy.

Lucy goes to check on him. Luke woke up, but didn't get out of bed.

"We'll get you breakfast in bed." Lucy says. Luke shook his head and got up. He got dressed for school in his very best school uniform, combed his hair, pinned an It's My Birthday button to his Oakley Academy blazer, then went down to breakfast.

"Happy birthday!" The siblings say as Luke comes into the dining room for breakfast.

Luke looked around and smiled at the donuts. "Oh, my! Is this my birthday breakfast?!" Luke says, surprised.

Charity nods. "Of course, my sweet treasure!" Charity says as she kisses Luke 17 times with one to grow on.

Luke giggles before eating 5 donuts and a small bowl of fruit salad. He then heads off to school as Shane and Penny were waiting to walk with him.

"Happy birthday, Luke!" Penny says.

"Thank you!" Luke says.

Soon, they arrive at Oakley Academy. Luke looks around.

"Where is everybody?" He asked. "Did they forget about my day?"

He entered as confetti fell on him.

"Happy birthday, Luke!" The entire school says to him. Luke gasped with delight.

"Balloons and goodies and everything…" Luke says, shedding tears of joy. "This…this is just wonderful!"

The principal smiled at Luke.

During lunch, he noticed his friends weren't there.

"After he was so excited to bring it up, now he isn't here. And neither are the others…" Luke says as he gets in line to go get his lunch. Shane walked behind him.

Luke cries. "I knew this birthweek would not be perfect…" Luke sobbed. He then came out of the line with his lunch tray and came to his usual table, his hands over his face once he sat down to eat.

People looked concerned.

"Do my friends hate me?" Luke sniffed. "Did they actually forget?"

His friends came, seeing this.

"I know they did…" Luke says as Shane, Penny, and Mona all hold him. He sadly finished his lunch.

Soon, it was time for cheer practice as Luke went off to change. He then came out of the locker room, looking like a stern sergeant, a scowl crossing his face.

"ATTEN-TION!" Luke shouted. Everyone got in position.

"20 jumping jacks! Let me see them!" Luke hissed. The squad obeyed and did just that. Then the practice began as Luke shouted orders at everyone.

Penny fell over as she held her ankle. Howard told Shane to take her to the nurse and made Luke sit on a mat by himself for 30 minutes to cool off.

Oliver took over the rest of practice.

Luke sadly headed home after school and then went to his room. He had a horrible day at school.

The siblings felt bad for him. Luna could see his tears flowing from his eyes.

"I can't believe my friends other than Penny and Mona forgot…" Luke sniffed. "Why do they hate me?"

Lucy holds him. Luke cried against her.

"Poor Luke…the start of his perfect birthweek was ruined." Lucy sighed.

Charity went to talk to his friends. "How could you all do that to my son? Forgetting his birthday like that…what excuse do you have that made you forget about today?" She asked.

"We were planning to surprise him, but we thought he would hate it." Stephen says.

"Well, he hates you for forgetting." Charity says. "You of all people were excited about this day and now you go and forget it…"

They look ashamed and think of a way to make it up to him.

Oliver and his siblings did their best to decorate. Soon Leni took Luke to the gym as confetti fell on him.

"Happy birthday, Luke!" Everyone says.

Kat and Ana were getting ready to go on patrol since the cosmic buddies were helping with Luke's party. Kat and Ana bounced around the rooftops. They spot some sort of samurai in their world and go to fight it.

Oliver and his siblings do a performance for Luke as he was starting to force a smile. It was pretty clear that he was still mad at his friends.

Soon, the whole cheer squad does a performance for Luke, basically showcasing what they practiced for the Michigan Cheer Classic on the 17th. Luke was impressed with the work they did and couldn't wait to do it with them.

After that came Luan's mime show and jokes. Then the music performance from Luna and her band. Luke smiled at these things and had even laughed at the jokes.

Luke was now opening his presents, his friends still on his mind. He had opened Charity's gift to reveal a spa basket with a gift certificate to the Royal Woods Spa. Luke squealed and hugged his mom, thanking her for this.

He then opened Garrett's gift, which was a new pair of shoes for the Michigan Cheer Classic, which is what he needed. Luke hugged Garrett and smiled.

Lucy got Luke a new journaling kit as Luke smiled and hugged her.

Luke smiled and opened Leni's gift next. It was a birthday suit, which he would wear on Friday to his biggest party. He smiled and thanked Leni.

He then saw a big box from his friends. The box was so big, it had to be brought in on a trailer.

He opens it. "What is this?" Luke asked. He carefully opened the box to reveal his friends standing on the deck of a brand new party boat. Luke was speechless.

"Oh, wow…" Shane says.

"Now that is a gift!" Luna says.

Luke was surprised to see his friends.

"You came!" Luke says. "But why did you forget to begin with?" They explain.

"You guys know I love surprises. I'd never hate surprises from you! I just hate that you forgot." Luke says.

Soon Lucy reads a poem, which makes him smile. Then Lola gave him a show.

After that, Luke showed off some of his gymnastics moves with Rachel and Griffin. Everyone loved it.

People were really enjoying themselves as the party progressed. As they enjoyed the party, Luke went off to practice alone for a bit.

Meanwhile…

"Okay, let's do this!" Kat said. The demon samurai tries cutting Kat, who blocks with her swords and makes clones as they leap up.

The demon knocked the clones down as the real Kat was on his head. He tried punching her, but she leaped up at the last moment making him hit himself as Kat smiled.

"Nah-Nah!" She teased as the demon tried slashing Kat, who leaped up and away. Ana was playing with flowers while her sister was fighting for her life.

Meanwhile, Luke and Rachel were dancing to the songs the DJ played. Luke then walked off to be alone.

Mona checks on him. Luke sat outside the gym with his headphones on.

"Luke, are you okay?" Mona asked. She could see he looked out of it. He felt like his day wasn't special.

"I know that what happened at school soured your day a bit. Would you like my gift now? I think you'll love it…" Mona says.

Luke opens it to reveal a picture of Luke, Mona, and Mugman from their cruise through Florida. Mona painted this particular picture from memory.

"Mona, I love this! I remember this part of our cruise, on the ship's Neon Night! That was so much fun!" Luke says.

"I know! We also had fun burying Mugsy in the sand while he was sleeping…he never lets me forget it." Mona giggled.

Meanwhile, Kat was knocked back as the samurai tries cutting her, but Young Cricket came and saved her.

"Thanks." Kat says.

"I'll handle this quickly." he says, but sees that Cicada took it down.

"Too slow!" She teased.

Back at the party, Luke had come back in as he saw a 17-shaped piñata hanging in the middle of the room.

"Oooh…" Luke says. Lana rushed off and got him his bat. Luke took the bat as the thought of his friends clouded his mind. He then broke open the piñata, sending the candy everywhere.

Once he had his share, he sat and ate a cookies & cream candy bar. Lana joins him as Luke looks at her.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

He sighed. "They forgot." Luke says.

"Why do you say that? They got you an awesome gift!" Lana says.

"They didn't do anything for me at school…" Luke says.

"I'm sure it will get better." Lana says.

Soon, Luke came in and gasped upon seeing his High School Musical cake with 17 donuts around it and 17 candles. It said Happy Birthday To Our Spectacular Luke!

Luke smiled a bit at this as Charity lit the candles on the cake. Everyone then began singing to him as he tried hard to give everyone a genuine Luke smile.

"Make a wish, Luke!" Penny and Mona say, cameras in hand. They were working together on his Spectacular Seventeen highlight reel and wanted to include all the cakes, wishing, and candle-blowing in it. This was one of many gifts that they had in store for Luke.

Luke smiled and made a wish, wishing for the next few days to be perfect and blew out the candles. Rachel feeds Luke his cake.

The sleepovers would be on the first, next to the last, and last days of the week.

Soon, they got ready for the sleepover. They were going to watch the whole High School Musical trilogy to kick off the night.

Ashley sat on the far corner. Kat and Ana were there too as Luke enjoys these movies.

"Who is Luz?" Ashley asked Oliver while everyone was watching.

"Some girl, now shhh…" Oliver says, shushing her.

After the movies, Luke was listening to Oliver's stories about his friends, his eyes widening with excitement.

"Oooh! Tell the Grudgby story again, Oliver!" Luke says as Oliver smiled and did so.

Ashley heads outside and groans. "I'm supposed to be the greatest witch, but Oliver doesn't think so." Ashley says upset that Oliver would rather tell stories about them over her.

"Are you really?" Red asked as her hair turned white.

"Yes, I am." Ashley says.

Meanwhile, Luke was yawning as it was getting late. Those movies are long, plus the stories were also a bit long.

"Ashley, promise me you won't attack another witch." Penny says.

"I promise." Ashley says. "I'm not allowed to attack a witch until the tournament, anyway."

"I guess Lukey doesn't want his ice cream cake…" Luna says.

Luke wakes up. "Ice cream cake?! Is it Reese's or Oreo ice cream cake?" He asked.

"Oreo ice cream cake. We'll have Reese's ice cream cake on Thursday and Snickers ice cream cake on Friday. Those two are going to be huge!" Luna says. Luke got excited as Luna lit the candle on the Oreo ice cream cake.

"Make another wish!" Shane says.

Luke wished he had another week about himself, but he knew it was only once a year. He had to help Shane plan his birthweek once his ended, and he was excited about doing that. And his anniversary was before that week, on a Sunday, so he had quite a lot to look forward to. So he just wished to do well in the planning process and blew out the candle.

Luna served the ice cream cake as Luke and Shane got big pieces. Shane savored every bite while Luke ate the frosting first. Oliver just smiled as he got his piece.

He remembered his half-birthday was in the same week as Shane's and frowned. But Shane had something planned for both him and Oliver, as he had no intention of leaving Oliver out.
