Bad Word
I remember reading a request about Neal learning a bad word from his sister, but I couldn't find it, so I did something along those lines :)
Hanna was in the kitchen getting some yogurt from the fridge. As soon as she took off the lid, she dropped the container and sent yogurt flying across the floor. "Oh shit…"
"Shit!"
Hanna's eyes went wide, and she turned around to see her 2 year old brother standing there. She quickly went over and knelt down in front of him."No Neal. Don't say that. That's a bad word." Hanna quickly looked around to make sure her parents weren't close by. Thankfully they weren't.
Neal furrowed his eyebrows. "Hanny say shit!"
"I didn't mean to buddy. It was an accident." Hanna picked Neal up and placed him on her hip. "Promise me you won't ever say it again, okay?"
Neal turned his head to the side. "No say shit?"
Hanna quickly covered his mouth with her hands "No Neal. Don't say that."
Neal gave his big sister a nod.
Hanna put her hand down. "You promise?"
"I promise!" Neal wiggled down from her grasp and ran off to play.
Hanna let out a sigh of relief. She cleaned up the mess she made and hoped her little brother would forget all about this.
Emma, Killian, and Henry came by later that evening and the whole family was enjoying a nice dinner together. Hanna had completely forgotten about the incident earlier that day until Neal dropped his fork on floor…
Neal looked to the floor where his fork had fallen. "Oh shit!"
David's eyes went wide. Snow covered her mouth trying to keep herself from choking on her green beans. Emma, Henry, and Killian tried to hold back laughs. While Hanna's face turned bright red.
"Neal where did you learn that word?" Snow asked.
"Hanny say shit," Neal said with a smile.
"Hanna!" Snow and David said as they looked over at their youngest daughter.
"I'm sorry! I spilled my yogurt this morning and said it. I didn't know Neal was there!"
"Well you don't need to be using words like that either young lady," Snow told her.
"I learned it from Emma!" Hanna pointed to her sister, trying to shift the focus away from her.
Emma's mouth fell open. "What the hell Han? I didn't teach you that!"
"What the hell!" Neal exclaimed.
"Emma!" Snow and Charming yelled at the same time.
Hanna continued to argue with her sister. "The first time we played darts at Granny's you said it ten times! I never even heard the word 'shit' until I met you!"
"Shit!" Neal repeated.
"Neal don't say that!" Snow said.
"Girls go to your room!" David
Emma looked up at her dad. "Uh I don't live here, remember?"
"Go to Hanna's room then. Now!" he ordered.
Both girls got up from the table and stormed up the stairs muttering a whole slew of bad words at each other as they went.
