Forest was making a special breakfast as Charity was very hard at work. She had explained to her family that a big party was simply out of the question this year, but she wouldn't mind an intimate gathering of family and friends for dinner at The Melting Pot, complete with cake and presents. She even allowed Luke and Shane to invite their teammates as they were honored guests.
"Whoa! A fondue restaurant!" Garth says. "I'm in!"
"What do I wear?!" Hal asked, dashing up to his closet.
"Oooh, I do like fondue…" Oliver Queen says.
"Will there be chocolate fondue?!" Barry asked, salivating at the thought of it.
Carter smiled thoughtfully as he had never tried it before.
Luke noticed an invitation to Brock and Ann's party which was on January 15th. He looked mad.
"On my anniversary!" Luke hissed. "Why is it on my anniversary?!"
"They were born on that day." Shane says.
"I'll make them pay…" Luke says, growling, even though they didn't live in Michigan.
"Luke, honey, what did I say about using violence on those kids?" Charity says while eating her blackberry & blueberry French toast topped with powdered sugar and honey.
"Not to." Luke sighed.
"You can make time to stop by their party. That's during the day. Your anniversary party isn't until 7:00 that night." Charity tells him. "You still get your special breakfast and everything."
Meanwhile…
"I want a dart gun." Brock says.
"I want them…" Ann sighed dreamily at a picture of the Musibros.
Cynthia crossed her arms. "That is if we're free." she says.
"Which we will be. No adventures on my siblings' birthday." Kali says.
"I wanna go on a birthday adventure!" Brock says.
"No! I want the Musibros!" Ann says.
"I thought it was the Invincibros?" David asked.
"Lame…Musibros is better." Ann says.
"The Invincibros are their hero team name. The Musibros are their music group." Kali explained.
With Charity, Skylia and Victoria took her out for a girls' day.
"You guys know that I already know about my birthday dinner tonight, right? I told them no party this year." Charity says.
"You know your son. He loves parties." Victoria says.
"This year, he listened." Charity says. "A nice dinner with cake and gifts is all I want."
Meanwhile, Savannah sighed having to think of cakes for Atticus, Brock, Ann, Tina Melony, Luke, Oliver Fox. and Shane was becoming stressful, but she pushed on.
Stephen was making the cake for Charity's birthday and Luke's anniversary, and was making the cakes for Shane's birthweek. He was also making the cake for Oliver Queen's anniversary. Only because Oliver Queen wants the Meyers Family Bakery rainbow velvet cake for his anniversary.
Savannah noticed her parents looking down as moving to Royal Woods meant they'd receive less orders since Stephen was one of the main bakers in town, among others.
"Mom and Dad, we have nothing to worry about. Jerbo and Viney are going to help." Savannah says.
With Luke, he was with the Invincibros, training like always.
Mo came in. "I brought pizza." She says.
"Sweet!" Garth says. "Which one's mine?"
"You did remember everyone's preferences, right, Mo?" Atticus says.
"Yeah." Mo says.
Angry Luigi was spying on the Invincibros.
"I gotta find a way to convince them to let me join " Angry Luigi says
"Just ask." Bill says, annoyed.
"I can't handle rejection well. Especially from Atticus. He and Cherry are the main reason why I became a hero. That and keeping Emma safe." Angry Luigi says.
"If you want something done do it yourself " Bill sighed and went to ask them for him.
"Dude! How can you eat that on pizza?!" Hal asked, pointing at Garth's seafood pizza.
"Leave him alone." Mo says.
"If that's what he wants to eat, then let him enjoy it." Atticus says as Garth looked ashamed, but still ate the pizza.
Oliver Queen ate his "green" pizza, which Hal grew curious about.
"It's just green peppers, spinach, broccoli, and they use pesto sauce instead of that red sauce. I hate the red sauce. It makes me break out." Oliver Queen says. "I am not gonna make that mistake again by eating my green pizza with that sauce."
"Hal, listen, you have 5 seconds to quit judging before I hurt you." Atticus says. Hal shuts up and eats his meat lovers' pizza.
Bill comes in.
"Hey, guys, um, Angry Luigi wants to join your Team for All-Star Talent Showcase " Bill says.
"The maximum is six. And we have our team set." Luke says, eating his cheese pizza.
Bill goes outside. "He says no." Bill says.
Angry Luigi tears Up and leaves "Come on, Bill, let's go back to Greendale or anywhere that has nothing to do with Luke." he sniffed.
"That kid is strange." Mo says, watching them leave. "He's left 1600 fan gifts."
Atticus sees the massive pile of gifts.
"That is a lot…" Atticus says.
Angry Luigi was packing his bags and pushed Willow aside
"I'm going for good." he says. Skylia had come home, leaving Charity with Victoria.
"You can't leave just because they don't want you." Skylia said.
"Well, no one will notice the difference. What's the point? I'm heading up or down." Angry Luigi says, leaving a broken person.
"Is he okay?' Willow asked.
"He's broken. mentally broken. All because he got rejected from a team he really wanted to join." Alem tuber says. "Pretty stupid reason if you ask me."
That night, Charity got ready for dinner. So did the boys.
"Do I dress formally or semi-formally?" Hal asked Luke. "I want to look nice for the dinner."
"I'm bringing my bib!" Barry says. "Chocolate fondue, here I come!"
"I can't wait!" Garth says, dressed in a nice version of his normal clothes.
They go to the restaurant an hour later. Of course, since Charity already knew, it wasn't much of a surprise that they were at The Melting Pot.
Angry Luigi sat on top of a building and looked at the picture. "I should have known to never meet my heroes. I was a fool to follow my dreams. Now I have no dream."
He jumped off only for Atticus to catch him. He didn't go to the dinner.
"Just because you're not on my team doesn't mean I rejected you for real, you know that?" Atticus says.
Angry Luigi looked down.
"Hey, look at me. I know you'll be in the show one way or another. But still, rejection happens to everyone. Even someone like me has had to handle rejection." Atticus says. "But I didn't hurt myself. I took it as an opportunity to do better."
"Yeah, right, the real Atticus I know was one of the most famous people I know." Angry Luigi says
"I wasn't always famous." Atticus says. "In fact, I wasn't discovered as such until a few years ago."
"So I get To go on your adventures?" Angry Luigi asked.
"All you have to do is ask. And I dare to take on anyone who stands in the way of that." Atticus says.
With Charity, she had opened most of her gifts, which was a lot of things that she actually liked. She then came upon Oliver Queen's gift, which was tickets to Hamilton.
"Oh, my goodness! Forest and I have been meaning to see this show!" Charity says, excited. "Thank you so much!"
"Of course." Oliver Queen says as Charity opened Hal's gift next.
"Oh, wow! You made this, Hal?" Charity says, smiling at the quilt made from her old high school t-shirts. "It's lovely! Thank you!"
"You're welcome, Miss Huntington." he says, smiling politely.
"Well, what have we got here?" Charity asked, seeing Garth's gift wasn't wrapped.
"I got you moon jellies…the jellyfish you love to look at." Garth says.
"They're gorgeous and amazing…thank you." Charity says, smiling. "Their color changing ability is fascinating."
"Isn't it?" Garth says.
"It is!" Charity says before opening Barry's gift to see a sapphire bracelet.
"My goodness, Barry, this is stunning!" Charity says, putting it on. "I love it!"
"You're welcome!" Barry says. Carter shyly offers his gift.
Charity opens it. "My, my! You're quite an artist! I love this beach bird painting a lot. It reminds me of my first trip to Galveston when I was just a little girl…" She smiled and hugged Carter. "Thank you. I know the perfect place in my home office for this."
With Angry Luigi, he sees the manor getting robbed as Mo was tossed to the back of the van.
"I gotta get the others! Jafar and is that turbo? Atticus can do anything, I just need to find Atticus and Patch but first gotta find my siblings hopefully Willow and Skara are at that party" Angry Luigi says
He decided to head home, only to see no one home.
"Skara must have taken Emma out. Now to check on Savannah…oh, wait, Jerbo needed her help with catering an event in town. Melony can handle herself. Atticus, help!" Angry Luigi says.
He sees Atticus about to head to the dinner party.
"Atticus, get your Invincibros and do something! The manor is being robbed!" Angry Luigi says as Atticus rushed to save the day, becoming Wolf Titan and ran off alone.
"I can't let him go alone. Joe Parker to the rescue!" Angry Luigi says, becoming Joe Parker and rushed after Wolf Titan.
They find the villains as Joe Parker takes out his guns.
"Atticus fudo" Jafar says as suddenly a bunch of villains showed up.
"Guys!" Mo says
"Joe Parker needs no one." Joe Parker says.
Meanwhile, Alem tuber was walking with Willow back to the house as Skara was with Emma at the dinner. Alem tuber and Willow were tasked with buying groceries.
Willow noticed Angry Luigi's hat.
"Angry Luigi must be in trouble. You go ahead and look for them while I go get anyone that isn't at the party" Willow says.
"Why don't we switch? Everyone you know is definitely at the party. Everyone I know isn't." Alem tuber says and flies off fast as Willow nods.
She soon arrived and gasped as the Dalmatians jumped on her, pinning her down.
Alem tuber finds Delta and Bella eating subs
"Delta, my brother needs help." Alem tuber says as Delta nodded "You try and get the others. Me and Bella will stall for time."
Joe Parker fired lightning crystals at Jafar, who dodged and shot flames. Joe Parker jumped away as Wolf Titan kicked Drella down
"Not good" Wolf titan says
"Sounds to me like you need help." Alem tuber says walking in with Patch, Drell, and the others.
The villains gulp as the battle soon ended.
There was soon a news interview.
"What happened?" Katherine asked.
"There was a robbery at Huntington Manor and I had to stop it, but I needed help. The cosmic buddies are some of the greatest heroes I have ever met." Wolf Titan says and walked off.
"Well, that's that, we saved the manor. Let's go to the dinner." Willow says.
"You go, we gotta return all of the stuff back to the manor." Mo says.
"Or we can make the magic guy do it." Angry Luigi says pointing at Drell.
"Wait, what?" Drell asked.
"Listen, um, I got nothing." Angry Luigi says.
"What he means is he has made friends with 2 shape-shifting aliens who want to attend a party." Bella says as Team real left.
They soon arrive at the party as Delta looks at the spread.
Everyone had sat down to eat as dinner had just been served. Oliver Queen was using his manners while eating.
Lana eats face first, same with Delta.
"This is a fondue restaurant, ladies. Do you not know how that works?" Atticus asked.
"I saved you. Don't judge." Delta says.
"This is why we don't take animals to restaurants." Bella says, breaking the 4th wall.
Emma was struggling to act proper, but Willow was there to help.
"And once again, our savior saved the day and our stuff from getting robbed." Hal says
"Wait, what?" Lisa asked.
"Don't worry, we took care of it." Delta says, shoving food in her mouth.
"Yeah, you don't need to thank us." Melony says to Garrett, who just smiled while dipping steak bites in beef broth fondue.
Charity ate quietly. The night was no longer focused on her.
"I think Charity should enter the All-Star Talent Showcase." Bill says.
"You know it's been years since I graced the stage…" Charity says.
"2 years since you teamed up with Savannah and Tina." Lisa says
"Just stop! Let your mother reminisce the way she wants to. She doesn't want to look back on that." Forest says.
Savannah winced.
"I'm not sure. I don't have a team, anyway, and besides, I'm manager material. I don't perform much anymore." Charity says. The boys grinned as they had brought Charity on as their manager.
Soon, Kat and Ana took the stage to perform a show you see in those Chinese dance shows. Charity smiled at it.
Then the Musibros did a performance of one of Charity's favorite songs by *NSYNC, which was It's Gonna Be Me. She squeals with excitement. "They perform songs by my favorite childhood boy band so well!" She clapped and smiled.
Charity then went off to take a bathroom break.
"You boys are amazing!" Luna says.
"Were you boys really a boy band?!" Luan asked Oliver Queen, Garth, and Hal.
"Yes, and with me on their team, we will beat Melony and be the best band in the multiverse." Luke says.
"Let them answer." Barry says.
"Yes." they say.
"Hal posed as the heartthrob of the group, naturally. Me? I was the cute one." Oliver Queen says.
"What about Garth?" Luan asked. "What role did he take on in the group?"
"Well, he was the guy who had the golden voice." Hal says. "Girls went nuts for it."
Garth blushed.
A bit later, the chocolate and caramel fondue came out and so did Charity's birthday cake.
"Oh, goodness! White chocolate Oreo cake, my favorite!" Charity says, smiling at the #5 and #6 candles glowing upon it.
The waiters sang as the others followed suit. Charity just smiled before wishing the Musibros would go far as she then blew out her candles.
The cake was soon served as Barry drenched his piece in chocolate fondue and ate it. Hal did the same thing with his piece of cake.
Oliver Queen ate his cake and some caramel fondue-dipped cheesecake bites.
Luke smiled at his mom as he ate his dessert.
