During tonight's heavy rain, Ikki and Shun meet in Ikki's room and invite Hyoga to join them. They discuss past events, including their struggles with yesterday's heat wave. Ikki finishes by talking about the giant sea pearls. They agree to meet again as a trio during winter vacation.

Today's weather is pouring showers.

This week ends the July chapter.

[July 25, Wednesday - week 4]

Shortly after dinner, Ikki and Shun meet in Ikki's room. They need a third person to serve as a mediator, so they invite Hyoga to join. The three of them meet amidst the heavy downpour that's currently going on.

"Thanks for letting me join," Hyoga says. He sits on the floor wearing loungewear and a tied-up ponytail. "Uh, why am I here again?"

Ikki somewhat flinches. "You're here because we believe you're the best fit for whatever topic of conversation we'll have."

"We could've brought Seiya or Shiryu but..."

"One is a ditz and the other is too serious."

"You got that right!" Shun nods.

They sit side by side on Ikki's bed, wearing loungewear and a tied-up ponytail in Shun's case.

"Look at all that heavy rain. It was so hot yesterday," Shun says.

"I know. The change is sudden, but that's what the radio said. But even then that type of weather is nothing new to me," Ikki says.

"The radio said weather like this happens during summer, so it's nothing to worry about. Although the downpour reminds me of the time we fought against Poseidon..." Shun sadly sighs.

"I'm surprised you can say such a thing, Shun," Hyoga says. "This rain doesn't compare to what Poseidon unleashed in the world."

"But that's what comes to first in my mind."

"The radio said it'll rain like this all night, then it'll clear up by the next morning. I agree with him that this downpour doesn't come close to Poseidon. Otherwise, we would've felt his cosmo."

"And then we would have to start all over again," Hyoga adds.

"Do we really have to?" Shun asks, worried.

"Shun, that's not a question you should be asking. We're Saints of Athena. This is what we do," Ikki scolds. "Poseidon can revive thousands or millions of times and we'll fight him again and again."

Hyoga nods with folded arms. "Definitely!"

The trio glances at the rain hitting the window.

"By the way, were you guys able to sleep yesterday?" Shun asks to change the topic before things get too serious.

"Yes, thanks to my fan," Ikki says.

"Same here!" Shun grins. "It wasn't easy because my room was still hot, but having the fan made things more bearable."

"What fan?" Hyoga asks, confused.

"That electric fan over there." Shun points out.

Ikki and Shun notice Hyoga's confused look.

"What's with you?" Ikki asks.

"Don't you have one of these in your room?"

Ikki looks at Shun and whispers. "I think it's more like he doesn't know what that is."

"Wait a sec. You never seen a fan before?" Shun asks, sweat dropping.

"I lived in a frozen tundra. Of course I don't know what that is," he says with a straight face.

"Okay, so what you see here is an electric fan that you connect the plug to an outlet, and you press a button that will give the right amount of air depending on the speed," Shun explains as best as possible. "You can also make it rotate."

The fan rotates back and forth on Ikki's nightstand.

"I see. Looks very practical. Where did you get it?"

"We found them in the storage room next to here. There are still plenty of them. Ikki and I grabbed one. Likewise, Seiya and Shiryu did the same."

"How were you able to sleep?" Ikki asks.

"It wasn't easy. Even removing it all didn't help!"

Ikki flinches even harder with more sweat drops.

"Removing it... all?" Ikki's brow twitches.

"Yes, yes! It occurred to me to open the window. That helped a lot! So then I was finally able to sleep with them open wide."

"Were you... standing... there?"

"Of course I was!" He says without shame.

"...How long?" His brow jerks along with his head.

"I think it was for an hour or so."

Ikki's face combines intense flush, spirals in his eyes, and sweat dropping in large quantities that don't cease. His mouth remains slightly open.

"Are you okay, brother?" Shun tugs his brother, who's too dazed to talk. The unusual sight makes him worry, but Ikki recovers in mere seconds. "Ah! Thank goodness you're okay."

Heavy rain continues to pour.

"Ah, Ikki! You must tell us about your date with Kyoko-san! How did it go? Seeing you dazed was definitely a first for us."

"Would it be better if Seiya and Shiryu were here?"

"He would have to tell the story again, period."

"Fine!" Ikki rolls his eyes upward. "I'll talk."

Ikki takes a deep breath and sighs.

"Kyoko wanted me to escort her to this place in Tokyo Bay that looks like Poseidon's realm."

Shun and Hyoga sit motionless, agape due to the reveal of the facility's familiar setting. Urged to ask questions, they ask him to continue.

"She wanted to see the giant sea pearls in one of the galleries based on the seven oceans. Yes! It's a site filled with theme parks and art galleries. There's even a restaurant called Breadwinner."

"Wow! Way to turn the battlefield into an entertainment venue," Hyoga mutters.

"Does anyone realize the massive flooding that happened?!" Shun nervously sweats.

"Apparently, it was open before we went there, so I don't know. Anyway, Kyoko wanted to see the giant sea pearls, so we headed to the North Atlantic gallery, and the room itself was flooded with nothing but sea pearls. Kyoko threw herself and vanished before my very eyes."

"Kyoko-san vanished?" Hyoga asks.

"That must've been terrifying," Shun says.

"I followed after her and found myself floating on the sea pearls. I wonder how that was possible if I wasn't on the water. Well, turns out there are giant fans underneath the floor that allow the people and pearls to float. To make matters worse, I found two pieces of clothing belonging to her, so I got worried and searched like crazy."

"Even if she was playing, that was far from fun."

"Yeah... but here's the thing. While looking, I spotted two humongous peach-like orbs from afar. I wasn't sure why they looked like peaches, but they had thick, stiff pink tips pointing toward the ceiling. They were well-rounded and stood out. I tried to reach out, of course, but they disappeared from view when I tried to get close."

"Peach... orbs?" Hyoga says with dotted eyes.

"Pink... tips?" Shun does the same.

Hyoga whispers to Shun. "He means nipples."

"It was getting out of hand. Suddenly, I felt a pair of large soft orbs slammed from behind. It was Kyoko who had a clothing malfunction."

"No way! You saw them!" Hyoga mumbles with an SD face. The tips of his fingers cover his lips to prevent a chuckle. His flushed cheeks brighten hard red as if he has apple cheeks.

"What a relief! I'm glad Kyoko-san was safe."

"Apparently, she wasn't aware at all. She said she felt nothing but a chill. She dragged me after that and ordered our meal as if nothing happened. It was hard to eat without staring at them. That huge cleavage on the table..." Ikki slumps as his expression turns a horrifying shade of blue. "Just thinking about them makes my head spin..."

"Just hearing your story makes my head spin..." Even Hyoga gets the spiral eyes, intense flush combo emulating Ikki's earlier expression.

"I'm so glad Kyoko-san enjoyed her birthday!"

"Well, yeah..." Ikki nervously laughs, jerking.

Their chatter continues for a few more hours.

"Brother! Let's have the three of us meet again during winter vacation," Shun says. "Having him here makes vacation so much fun."

"Yeah, I agree." Ikki nods, smiling a bit.

"Is that so? Then I don't mind at all," Hyoga says.

"Having all five of us here makes for a crowded room, so spending a moment of school vacation with the three of us makes it perfect."

To be continued...
