"Volnutt!" Scourge found the child on the cage nearby.

"Damn it! We got scolded again!" Cubester is raging.

"Ugh... Who opened this cage and freed that asshole!" Circler bruh. "Should've kept an eye for longer."

"I dunno, but guess we'll have to use cameras to watch the cages." Cubester shrugged.

The two left, leaving Scourge and a depressed Volnutt, among other captives in other cages.

"Volnutt... please." Scourge sighed. "Oh..."

"I think I'm done for." Volnutt slumped down. "We're next. We so happens to be the next two subjects. And the security will improve over time... we're doomed."

"I really hope Julie-Su and the army do good... we cannot contact with the latter anymore." Scourge sighed. "The false Amy actually blocked the communication."

"I'm sending your regards. I'll help us." Julie-Su declared. "I want to get out. Save home. Save everything."

"Where's Sally and Nicole?" Scourge groaned.

"Next up: Scourge the Hedgehog!" Nightmare Rose arrived.

The Dragon Quarter opened the cage, and cuffed Scourge. She brought him into the next room, to get consumed by the mutilated Dreamweaver.

"Goodbye... Volnutt... Julie-Su... everyone." Scourge left the waiting room.

Volnutt suddenly crying in his own cage, fearing that when Scourge is rejected and he's next, he might not be allowed to see Roll and Tron again. Julie-Su can hear the sobbing... so can Sally and Nicole.

"Crying under fear of denying reunion and fear of vain sacrifice..." The robian booted up, and immediately received. "Nicole... What's up with everyone?"

"I have recorded everything after we left the Cyber Dream." Nicole appears as the holo-lynx now chained near and around Sally. "Sally... poor Scourge."

"Where exactly are we now?" Sally asked seriously. "I'm serious. We need to do something."

"Girls..." A somewhat familiar voice called the two.

"Sally..." Another familiar one.

"Tangle? Whisper?" Sally recognized the two.

"Sonic! These two Genesis Births are ripe and ready!" Miles reported. "It's time we experiment on them!"

"Sally! It's them!" Tangle screamed. "I now know the truth! The second Genesis Wave! It compressed-"

"You know too much." Miles slapped Tangle the Lemur.

Tangle attempted to free herself and attack with her tail, but the mysterious hedgehog electrocuted her with the tempest from the blue shard.

"Sonic!" Whisper the Wolf saw him. "You... what are you doing... Please... no..."

"Ugh..." Tangle gets fuzzy.

"Tonight's experiment combines the Metal Virus and the modified Sigma Virus." The hedgehog revealed. "The Metal Virus now fuse organic with mechanic at cellular level, using magic nanites. The Sigma Virus now doubles as the miniature Unity Engine. Preliminary tests with animal friends show exceptional sync and link, among other desirable traits from both."

"Not Metal Virus again!" Tangle recalled. "Zombots... me? Again?"

Miles just laughed off at that matter.

"Not laughing matter, Tails... no, why are you older now?" Whisper realized. "No. Where's my Wispon?"

"Pssst! Tails, get the vials." The hedgehog refuted.

"President Miles!" Sally megaphoned.

"He is mine." The hedgehog dismissed, while Miles force-fed the lemur one of the two vials of Metal Virus infused with Sigma Virus.

"No no no no no-" Then the shy wolf gets force-fed as well.

Both forcefully swallow the contents, as the hedgehog intended. It's nauseating, and yet they're no longer able to vomit.

"And for extra protection, how about double?" Miles took out two Roboticized Master tech, originally derived from Eggman's roboticization technique and Wily's design. "This and the Grim ones."

"Anything that can end the oppositions." The hedgehog approved.

"My tongue... It's become metallic!" Whisper realized something.

"They're our friends! Why are you...!" Nicole called the two villains out.

"Hmph." The hedgehog then turned off the lights.

He and Miles went upstairs, leaving the two machines alone, caged in the dark, alongside their two cross friends that's now infected.

"Tangle... Whisper... No..." Both cowed down in fear, with the holo-lynx returning to the PDA.

Suddenly, the Cyber Dream opened before their mind, much to Nicole's pleasure.

A while later...

"Ariem..." Scourge cuffed in front of the Dreamweaver's mutilated body.

"You'll be a sacrifice to help us program the Dreamweaver." Nightmare Rose setup the system. "Once you're done, you'll be erased from existence, while I hopes to turn the dreamweaver into something greater. Don't you dare defy or escape."

"Scourge! You're doomed! Resign to your fate as a sacrifice!" Circler yelled at Scourge.

Cubester put a mind device connected to the system that Nightmare Rose is programming. Scourge hopelessly watched the scene as he's about to be a conduit to Ariem's reprogramming.

-*presses activate*

A massive surge and load of electricity fired on the Moebius hedgehog, causing him ultimate physical pain at lightning speed. The dream machine at the same time fired to full output, but...

"What!?" Nightmare Rose noticed. "What's going on!?"

The machine says "Noise detected, check space".

"What the hell!?" Nightmare Rose paused the system, stopping the electricity load.

This left Scourge with a third-degree burn across his entire body, and he completely... unconscious and nearly brain dead. Nightmare Rose entered the Cyber Dream, and found out something bizzare.

"No... two sources in one place!" Nightmare Rose is shocked.

One source was that the Yatsukahagi opened a glitch in the space to see what was happening to the Hegemony Gods, showing that since the seventh day after Hyper Genesis Wave, they've been infected and now are slowly succumbing, only slowing it down by both their emanations and their wills, and in Hajun's case, his own egoism. Another source to the noise was Habaki and Rindou accompanying the unified army, with their cravings ultimately bleeding into the area of the recreated Suwahara City.

At first, she simply blasted the recreation of the Tsukinosawa High. Eventually, Rindou's Tenma Fukumetsu shot her, causing her to fall down to the space proper.

"Yikes!" Numahime screamed, evading the lance.

"Wait... this lance sear out those not chosen!" Rindou realized something about Nightmare Rose. "She is..."

"Oh, what? You're saying we're bypassing that bullshit with the blessings from the Ruby?" Nightmare Rose laughed.

"What!? Overclocked Phantom Ruby can even handle Taikyoku, distortions and emanations!?" Boom!Sticks is baffled.

"How did you know... Did these demons tell you!?" Nightmare Rose immediately D-Dived, and targeted the Yatsukahagi.

Habaki simply blocked the false Amy, and grinned.

"Ye do good! Yaaarrr!" Black Rose exclaimed.

"Retainer of Rindou Koga... the supreme commander of the holy land's Eastern Expedition... Habaki Sakagami!" Habaki declared, before knocking Nightmare Rose off. "If it isn't Nightmare Rose of the so-called Team Shatter..."

"It's time... to go jan-ken-poooooooon!" Alex Kidd enlarged his fist.

The unified army charged to the false Amy for a dramatic brawl in the Cyber Dream, and the Dragon Quarter responded by go clash with all of them, all at once, and take the dream with.

"In your fucking DREAMS!" Nightmare Rose ended up clashing to the point of shaking the space.

The emanation and the mania meets the nightmare and Dragon Quarter in one package, and its shocked all the physical bodies involved, and caused some noise on the dream world itself. The collective crash shook the minds connected to Dreamweave, and it disrupted the sacrifice "ritual"...

"Sonic... friends... you... you came to... rescue me..." Ariem finally came back to consciousness. "Please... please... save Reverie... save... the dreams... save... all... of... us..."

Meanwhile, Sally and Nicole came here to tell the unified army about what's happening to Tangle and Whisper, but the clash meant the two has to aid the army against Nightmare Rose.

"You're the noises! You disrupted my ritual!" Nightmare Rose countered NiGHTS.

Numahime - Malleus Maleficarum the Mother of Distortion - cut the aura and shift the luck to bind false Amy off.

"Take that!" Sonic and Mega Man did Spin Dash Blast at point blank.

-*blasts from impact*

"Everyone! Can't get distracted forever! We have to get away!" Sally yelled.

"Not yet." Nicole pulled out her pitchfork, and pointed at Nightmare Rose. Morei and Akuro did same to false Amy as well.

"Fuck." Nightmare Rose disappeared from the space, clearly knowing fighting an outnumbered battle is risky.

"Sonnenkind, are you ok?" Silver tended Tokoyo.

"I have horrible news, Sonic." Sally revealed on the go. "Tangle and Whisper... Metal Virus again, I bet. The team has infected them. I... saw it."

"Tangle!? Whisper!?" Sonic is shocked. "Please no..."

"Who?" The Yatsukahagi have no idea who these are.

"Your friends! They exist to us, and they friended us!" Nicole revealed.

"Tangle!? Whisper!? Are you serious!?" Sonic and friends horrified.

"Yes! They even said it's Metal Virus again! This time, the evil hedgehog did it! Oh, and President Miles proved the brainwashing happened!" Sally in panic. "This is bad! They're corrupting everyone we want to ally with!"

"They're covered in a horror mix of organic and mechanic, with porous but polished touch!" Nicole told about the look. "Their skins and fur became metallic! Literally!"

"What!?" The Yatsukahagi heard it. "The gods... all slowly gain metallic skins!"

"Metal Virus..." Sonic thought about it. "So the evil team has infected my friends as well as gods... How did the latter get infected? They're walking cosmos!"

"I suspect the overclocked Phantom Ruby has to do with it." Sally sighed.

"Sonic... friends... you... you came to... rescue me..." Ariem finally came back to consciousness, with her voice reverbating throughout the entire Cyber Dream. "Please... please... save Reverie... save... the dreams... save... all... of... us..."

"Ariem!" Sonic screamed. "You're alive!"

"I'm dying..." Ariem lamented. "They're turning me... into a monster..."

Woah woah woah, who is that?" Sukuna has no idea.

"See, this is what happens when you don't even know one of your allies existed!" Robotnik shrugged.

"Oh no, that's ironic!" Eggman facepalmed. "We don't know the so-called Shatter hedgehog existed!"

"Doctor... help me. You're still... far better... than that monster... of a Sonic... version..." Ariem begged Eggman. "Please... everyone..."

"Wait... Dreamweaver? You still haven't forgotten me?" Eggman noticed. "You broke my dreams! Why should I saved you other than that the evil ones are using you just like I did before?"

"They broke... the Dormancy Protocol..." Ariem revealed. "Thos monsters... I shouldn't have activated... it in... the first place... I became defenseless... after it..."

"You're saying that the protocol made you mostly powerless, and thus totally defenseless?" Tails is shocked.

"Wait... you took away your own wish-granting... and it costed you your own!?" Knuckles is shocked. "In hindsight... because we cannot make dreams real for another millennia, she could not allow herself to give herself powers to fight back anymore. Most of her power were severed!"

"Wait... so Dormancy Protocol shouldn't have even been activated in the first place!?" Sonic shrugged.

"Yes... It was... too much... I became too little... and too late... to defend myself..." Ariem admitted. "I should've guarded... better..."

"Sheesh, why didn't you just overload Eggman's machine?" Knuckles replied. "You're the Dreamweaver! You could've just forced him into dreams!"

"At least you sent the system into lockdown..." Silver facepalmed. "And most of us didn't even experience it directly..."

"Miss? Who are you?" Prime!Shadow asked.

"Hey! Other!" Shadow called back. "So you're me in another timeline. I know you from the story the mysterious hedgehog told us."

"Really? You're me? Good! I know who he is!" Prime!Shadow confirmed. "He is-"

Suddenly, the voice shut down, and a projection of the mysterious hedgehog appeared up top.

"He knows too much. He is a monster for that and his powers." The hedgehog refuted. "But he is less than fodder. With the Phantom Ruby and the Paradox Prism, there's nothing I can't do. There is NOTHING we cannot do."

"Damn it!" The Chaotixes scowled. "We were about to know your real name, 'Shatter' monster!"

"Oh... still indulging in Amy's space? Then abide to her." The hedgehog dismissed. "She'll be nice to you if you do."

"No, she won't. She is a sociopathic murder and a Dragon Quarter Nightmaren." Sage refused.

The entire unified army agreed with Sage.

"Why would you poison Ren with the Metal Virus!?" Sukuna pointed his guns at the projection.

"It took hard work for us to invade their vulnerabilities! Only then, the Metal Virus could be applied safely!" The hedgehog revealed. "Because they're multiversal-level gods, the infection were slowed down significantly. Normal mobians took no more than a minute. It's been about a week, and they finally on verge of their doom! Once they're done, I can take them and use them as obedient minions. Divine minions make good works on defiances like you!"

"You're turning them into Zombots!" Boom!Sonic called the hedgehog out.

"Ye won't get in arrr way! We have gods too!" Knuckles the Dread declared.

"You seriously think you can get away-" Thorn Rose then saw the projection disappearing. "Oh. He hanged up."

"Sisters! Keep on surviving here to sleep in waking world! Until morning!" Classic Amy yelled.

"Fine." Reala scoffed.

"But we are gods. We're powerful enough-" Numahime shrugged.

"Sleep well. You'll be energized, and your energy and Taikyoku will be recharged." Habaki sat down with Rindou. "Alright. We're sleeping."

The minds took a break, as their body sleeps through. In the meantime...

"That dream sheep woke up before the ritual could proceed!?" The hedgehog is frustrated. "Amy! What's wrong with the machine!"

"Two words: divine emanations." Nightmare Rose revealed. "For context... we tried so hard to make sure no emanation gods aid the resistance. Now we have a whole bunch of them rebelling! At least we still have all the Hegemonies."

"The resistance survived because the Wisps came to aid. And they ended up surviving long enough to awaken two of the emanation gods, met up with demon pests that also emanate, and woke the Dreamweaver up before the ritual properly started!" Enerjak complained. "Our system were fine! The only error found are the emanation itself!"
