Chapter 27 the end of the Branwen clan, a true Raven, a battle between friends
On the Rhodes Island ship Eren and his friends are seen training on the simulator in order to get ready for any missions they might have to do and a mission they'll get as the group receives a secret message from Flatwell that tells them what Markov is planning and it isn't pretty.
Eren: that bastard… he's using the Liberation to locate where the Coral is and obtaining PCA technology…
Armin: but why does he need all that tech and the Coral for?
Eren: according to the note Flatwell wrote to us there seems to be some unknown people at the base and are collecting data on what's been happening on Rubicon also he says they seem to be making some sort of weapons but that's all the note says.
Armin: weapons does he mean weapons similar to that monster we saw?
Eren: that might be what he's up to and the reason why we have to go back get rid of Markov.
Armin: your right if we don't stop him theirs a chance that he'll make more chaos wherever he goes with the Coral in his hands.
Mikasa: … he'll kill … everyone.
The three remain silent but agrees that Markov needs to be stopped they head to the hanger bay and boards their machines and heads out to where the Liberation Front base is, Kal'tsit watch them but doesn't stop them because this is their problem that they need to settle with.
The scene changes to the Redguns who are trying to see is there any missions for them to do.
Jaune: another day and no missions from HQ.
Nora: it does look that way I mean everyone is working up a plan on how to deal with the current situation right now.
Ren: looks like it that Ice worm is attacking everyone that means we all have to work together in order take it down but…
Iguazu: of course none of us wants to work with the others due to reasons it is because of two factions.
Jaune and his team were silent they knew which factions Iguazu is talking about and its because of their reputation along with what they did is what's making it difficult for anyone who wants to work with them as they think about this Michigan calls them for a mission.
Michigan: listen up maggots. HQ has given us a mission to attack a base owned by an unknown group who calls themselves Phantom task.
Jaune: Phantom task?
Iguazu: wait a minute aren't they an I.S terrorist organization?
Michigan: yes they are and they appear to be collecting Coral in secret while we are dealing with the Ice worm so they want us to handle this situation as soon as possible.
Jaune: we'll handle it sir.
Michigan: good all of you are dismissed and get ready for the mission.
The group soon leaves and gets ready for the mission they will be doing the scene changes to 621 whose now about to take a mission from the Liberation Front and is now in a briefing with them.
Ayre: We've Received a request from the Liberation Front. Here's the briefing.
Liberation soldier: Raven. We have a mission we'd like you to take on. The objective is to defend the Gallia Dam Complex in the Belius region. Arqubus has been stepping up pressure on the Rubiconians while the PCA. They must be laying the groundwork to take effective control over the entire planet… They've dispatched two high-ranking independent mercenaries to raid the dam. You'll need to be ready to take on both at once: Aster Crown and Umber Ox. … as you know, we have a few cards to play. I hope we can count on you.
After the briefing ended 621 prepares to head to the mission area.
Ayre: … you're up against two of the Arena's top performers. Make sure your ready for this Raven.
Meanwhile Jaune and his team are seen attacking the Phantom task base and wiping out there forces as they do they detect four machines heading towards them it team RWBY.
Jaune: … Ruby.
Ruby: … Jaune… why.
Jaune: …
Ruby: why did you join the Corporations and betrayed us after what they did to our world… and to my uncle Qrow!
Jaune: …
Iguazu: is their something I'm missing here.
Ren: we'll explain later.
Weiss: oh you three are going to explain alright when we drag you three back to our base and answer for why you betrayed us!
Blake: you will answer for your crimes Jaune.
Yang: and you will give me answers on where the bastard who has my mom's name is!
The girls then attacks the Redguns, the scene changes to 621 whose arrived at the mission and is seeing the Liberation Front fighting against the two mercenaries and Flatwell fighting against Markov who is trying to flee from the Liberation Front after Flatwell exposed who he was.
Flatwell: I've should've known you we're up to something Markov.
Markov: it doesn't matter I've already have enough information on where the Coral convergence is located.
Flatwell: you won't get away with what you've done to our comrades!
Markov: they'll remembered once Earth and Remnant are nothing but a scorched wasteland.
Then Eren and his friends arrived and started attacking Markov along side Flatwell.
Eren: Markov! Your not getting away you bastard!
Markov: hmm looks like my time is up for now we will meet again as we all fight over the Coral.
Markov leaves the area and Eren along with his friends started fight against the Mercenaries 621 joins in and started helping the Liberation Front fight but the truth is 621 is there target they were after.
Chartreuse: this isn't right … this is a Gen four you belong in a museum not an A.C!
Armin started helping 621 fight against Chartreuse while Eren and Mikasa takes on King whose giving them a hard time and won't go down easy.
Chartreuse: you don't know when to quit just like all the other Ravens.
621: ?
Ayre: what did she mean. What other Ravens?
King: that mercenary's no Raven don't let the callsign fool you and focus on the task at hand.
The group continues to fight each but sadly Chartreuse is the first to die of the two mercenaries.
Chartreuse: why won't you die!...
King: Chartreuse! Withdraw abandon you're A.C!
Eren: next old man!
Mikasa: eliminating…
Eren, Mikasa, Armin and 621 works together and takes down King.
King: your strong… worthy of your name…
With King dead the mission is complete but it wasn't over as a group known Branwen clan comes at them along with there leader in front of them.
Raven Branwen: found you, you bastard this time I'll make sure I kill you this.
621: uh oh…
Eren: more enemies?
Just as they thought things wouldn't get any worse Ayre detected another A.C heading towards them 621 looks up and spotted the A.C he is shocked that it's the one he took the call Callsign from when he landed on Rubicon.

?: do you read me Raven?
Raven: I do Fiona.
Fiona: your impostor must be a skilled pilot if he was able to take on the two of them at once and defeated them both not only that but that woman is there as well who has the same name as you.
Raven: hmph.
As they close in on the targets the visor on the head of the original Raven's A.C known as Nightfall covers its face as it enters battle.
Fiona: let's see how far they can fly on burrowed wings.
The original Raven fires his song bird at Branwen clan wiping out most of them then he started attacking both 621 and Branwen Raven.
621: …he was … alive all this … time…
Raven Branwen: are you kidding me!? Another one who has my name!?
Fiona: Augmented human C4-621 were not here to reclaim the Raven name.
621: …
Fiona: however we'll see if you can make justice of it.
Raven Branwen: what gives you the right to make fun of my name!
Then the battle began between the three of them to see who was the true Raven, 621 attacks Branwen with his grenade launcher damaging her A.C and then firing missiles at her which hurts her more, Branwen then started fighting at 621 and the Raven to
Branwen Raven: you people are all getting on my nerves!
621: …
The Rave: this guys good really good.
Fiona: I feel it to Raven. This one has potential.
Ayre: stay on guard Raven.
Fiona: a Raven is a symbol of resolve, the will to choose what one fights for.
Branwen Raven: you shut your mouth!
The battle between the three then started getting much more serious as Branwen soon started having enough of these importers using her name for their own gain.
Branwen Raven: gonna rip both of you apart none of you have the right to make dumb stupid assumptions about my name! Resolve, choose those things are completely stupid I decide what I do whatever I want you people do have to make up pointless assumptions!
The Raven: then you are the Branwen.
Branwen: !?
The Raven: the name Raven existed long before you were even born not only that but I can tell you're a cowered who will run the moment things don't go your way you believe yourself to be strong but you're actually a weakling who are weaker and helpless you only do things only for yourself not fighting for something to believe in or the resolve to do what must be done.
Branwen: grrr!
Ayre: … the will to Choose…
621: what … to believe in… and strength… of resolve…
The three continue there battle until 621 hits Branwen with another grenade launcher and then finishes her off with a pulse blade penetrating cockpit killing her for good.
Brandon Raven: no… I …..
The Raven: looks like it's only you me lets see how far you fly!
621: …
The two soon started fighting against each other neither one showing no mercy as the two try to take down the other there machines taking serious damage to the point they can't take anymore then both of them charge at each other for one last clash, the Raven launched his pile bunker and 621 swings down his pulse blade both attacks hit each others cockpits.
But 621's blade hits through Nightfall slowly killing Raven at his last breath the original Raven says something to 621.
(End of music)
The Raven: the title… of Raven… has been passed on…
Fiona: Raven… alright then we'll watch this one and see where they go on a Raven's wings.
621: …
Then 621 leaves the area knowing that the mission is complete as he does the Liberation Front approach the dead bodies Flatwell tells them to bury the three Mercenaries as for the Branwen women he tells them to send the body to the huntsmen, the scene changes to Jaune and his team pushing team RWBY back and damaging there machines to the point they can't fight anymore.
Yang: this isn't over traitors.
Weiss: you will be made to answer for your betrayal.
The four huntresses then leaves the area but the group knows the mission is over so there was no need to be here so they leave as well the scene changes back to 621 as he has returned to base to rest as he does Ayre talks to him about something.
Ayre: I looked into the other Raven and I learned it's not a name or a callsign it's a title passed down to generations of Mercenaries that champion free will Raven stands for.
621: … free will…
Ayre: … they choose what to fight for and then take flight if that what it means to be a Raven… then that is the name I want to call you… Raven.
621: … Ayre… then I'll accept that title… as another Raven… a symbol of resolve…
Then as this happens 621 notice something was sent to him it was none other than the head part of Nightfall from the original Raven known as shade eye he then equipped it to his Noble Six changing its head part a sign that he has accepted the Title of Raven.
Then everything fades to black.
End of Chapter 27 the end of the Branwen clan, a true Raven, a battle between friends
That's another Chapter done Eren and his friends return to Liberation Front in order to deal with Markov but he escaped, Jaune and his team fights team RWBY and pushes them back, finally 621 does battle against Raven Branwen and the original Raven and defeats them both and becomes the true Raven. To MaxHD2490: your right about that Crimson squadron and some of the PCA soldiers want to make team RWBY to pay for what they did to Atlas after all they are Atlas civilians who lost everything because of what they did and this is going to make there deaths even sadder and tragic it sort of shows how much damage RWBY has caused along with the hatred they have unintentionally created which is still around today and it's not going away so easily.
