A/N: So uh.. hi? I wanted to preface this with a slight warning. I'm trying something new, but kinda familiar if you've read my past work, with my storytelling in this chapter, and possibly the rest of this arc.

Another thing I want to know, do you guys want me to give PLs for NPCs of importance at "Milestone" chapters? I won't for this one in particular, but I want feedback to gauge interest as I do have sheets for those too.

As always, enjoy and give a review if you want!

He stood in front of the window, watching as the fight happened with a calculating look. He had conquered countless worlds, lived through many wars… and yet. He's never seen something like this. To think the rumored Yellow Lanterns were numerous enough to stage such an attack, let alone real.

"Report." He spoke as his head swiveled to look at the new arrival. He saw that it was Taba, she had hastily entered with a panicked look.

"The invaders are demonstrating similar properties to those of their Green variants. Not only that but every casualty the garrison inflicts, comes at a cost of at least ten of their own… Sir, what should we do?" She spoke, her report growing more and more panicked as she kneeled behind him, only for it to trail into a whisper at the end.

He hummed as he returned his gaze to the veritable war outside and saw a Saiyan and Frieza Force Soldier be bisected simultaneously by the same attack. Quickly going through his options, he nodded as he came to a logical conclusion.

"Taba, you're in charge of initiating Operation New Moon. Relay the order to the rest of the cities planet-wide and take my guard for protection." He ordered, not turning away as a Yellow Lantern was launched into a crater before a few other Saiyans followed up with a barrage of energy that leveled the section of the city they were fighting in.

"Sir?" Taba hesitantly spoke and he felt a spike of irritation at his orders not being followed as soon as they were given.

"Did I stutter, scientist? Follow your orders and fulfill your duty." He barked as he stomped closer to the window. As he grew closer, he saw a wave of yellow hardlight erupt from the crater and minced the Saiyans that were attacking him.

"Now then… I have to join the fight before it's too late. I will not be the one responsible for our race not surviving the first assault Sadala has faced since Cold!" He roared at the end as he launched himself through the window and tackled a third Yellow Lantern out of the sky and into the neighboring building.

Taba knelt there in disbelief as she watched the current Commander of the Saiyan Race join the invasion outside. Slowly stumbling to her feet, she looked around before taking a deep calming breath and heading to the nearest terminal within the office. With some quick typing, she relayed the orders to all cities planetside.

With that done, she started to run to the door she had entered as the building rumbled from the fight intensifying. Seeing the guards that she was promised, protecting the room like they were meant, she started barking orders.

"Let's go! The Commander gave you lot to me, we need to get to the Gestation Center!" She ordered, adding as much steel to her voice as she could, given the circumstances. She felt a spark of satisfaction when they didn't argue, only nodding and following her to the exit.

She had a job to do.

We could only stare in horror as the Yellow Lantern tossed the body of our compatriot to the side with a sneer before she turned her gaze onto us. Spinning the spear of yellow hard light in her hand briefly before pointing it to us.

"One down, Seven more to go." She spoke, her cold voice felt sharp enough to cut through flesh and bone as she lowered her form closer to the ground and launched at us.

My eyes barely had time to widen as she vanished before I was pushed to the ground.

"Get down!" I remembered hearing before hitting the ground. Looking up, I saw that Yoma had been the one to react in time to save me from being the second victim. Had she been able to see the Lantern move? Was she really that far beyond me? Looking around I saw that I wasn't the only one. The others were either slowly turning in our direction or had wide eyes in shock.

She was that far beyond all of us. Even with all the training we had together the last three months. She was still that far beyond us? I was knocked out of my stupor by Turles and one of the others that I hadn't interacted with as much, I vaguely remembered her name as Calli, I think?

"Come on, we don't have time to stand around waiting to die!" Turles grunted as my eyes focused back onto the Lantern and had seen her and Yoma had been fighting while I was in thought.

I stood under my own feet as I saw the Lantern had hit Yoma. Sending her flying through the metal wall and back into our room.

"Make that two down." I gulped as the smoke cleared and she had started walking towards us as she leisurely spun the spear in her hand.

Taking a deep breath, I entered a stance as my thoughts raced… our strongest had been knocked out of the fight; only for now, I hope. I noticed that a counter had started ticking down from 5:00 by the second as she grew closer. I hope that meant that we were getting reinforcements and not when she decided to stop holding back.

His hands clasped against the Lantern he was facing, each struggling for power as they pushed with all their might. The attack wasn't what he had expected when he had gotten the news. The order was to prepare for an invasion; he had figured that they were standard soldiers, not enemies that were essentially Green Lanterns that were a different color!

Arlic grunted as he started winning against his opponent, pushing him back with a mighty roar. The opponent had lost his footing and Arlic capitalized on that with a headbutt that had caused the Lantern to cry out as a satisfying crunch was heard as his nose was broken.

He grinned savagely as energy flowed through him, the power of a raging wildfire as it erupted from the hands still clasped with his opponent. The Lantern's unfocused eyes widened at the glow steadily brightening between their hands as his hands started burning from his aura being seared away.

Arlic roared in victory as his energy magnified and erupted from the hands, tearing through his opponent's hands and disintegrating them as his energy surged past the destroyed defenses and the rest of the body followed suit.

Arlic took a deep breath and surveyed the war around him before scoffing. What were these Yellow Lanterns thinking? They had sent novices with little to no training in their ring, their source of power. The fact that so many were sent to invade and that it was a relatively even fight proved as much, after all, anyone even relatively knowledgeable of the universe's power scale could assume that a single trained Green Lantern would have made short work of Sadala's defenses as it currently is.

Watching the ring shoot into the sky with a yellow aura, Arlic saw five pods enter the atmosphere. He scoffed once more before continuing to join the next fight.

'Great, that's either a returning team or the Ginyu Force.' He thought as he surged forward towards another Lantern that had just killed a squad of Saiyans and Frieza Force Soldiers and Roundhouse kicked her from behind. He watched with satisfaction as the body of his new opponent dug a trench along the ground.

'SHIT' I screamed mentally from both the additional damage taken and the feeling of the yellow hard light of my opponent's spear digging into my hands when I grabbed it to prevent it from piercing me.

Looking up, I locked eyes with the Lantern and saw that she looked… bored. Gulping I tightened my grip on her spear as I tried to hold her in place for the pincer attack from the others, Turles and Calli from one side while Raditz and the other, Escaro my mind supplied, from the opposite side.

Seeing them draw closer from my peripherals, I ignored her look and tried shoving the spear into the ground.

Except I stumbled.

She had released the construct and hopped over our joint attack with a flip before resummoning her spear and swinging it at the four.

"NO!" I screamed as I saw the spear slice clean through Escaro and removed one of Calli's legs when she hopped out of the way. She extended her range by elongating her spear…

The thought had never occurred and now we're suffering from it. My eyes briefly flickered to the timer on instinct.

3:24

"Another two down~ Only three little runts left~" She spoke in an almost sing-song voice as she capitalized on my brief distraction and kicked me away into the wall down the corridor. I watched helplessly as she removed Calli's head from her shoulders, breaking Raditz's arm with a ring-enhanced sidekick.

-10,780 Magical Damage Taken

'Double shit' I thought as my hands ached from the wounds as blood flowed from them. My body screamed at me from the pain I had suffered from the kick and subsequent landing. My mind froze as I watched the Lantern sigh in disappointment and say something I couldn't hear before Yellow started appearing around her and taking the shape of her spear.

"Triple shit." I mumbled as with a wave of her hand, she sent the dozen hard light spears flying toward me.

Turles stumbled to his feet before cursing as he watched as a dozen spears made of yellow light smashed into Sora.

'There goes our other heavy hitter… Damnit.' He had thought as he looked around and fought back the tears at the sight of Calli and Escaro's bodies. Raditz, thankfully, was alive but he wasn't in the best of condition with a broken arm. Which meant…

"Just you left little Saiyan." The bitch spoke as she turned from the smoke that had been created from her attack against Sora. Facing me, He wracked my brain for any plan that would at least let them live long enough for help to arrive. But he only came up empty when she stopped in front of him.

"What now, child? What will you do with all of your precious allies dead or injured?" She lifted my chin with the point of her spear to make him look her in the eyes. He gulped. There was nothing he could d-

He smiled at her, the look of confusion briefly crossing her face filling me with satisfaction as he launched a blast into the ground, creating a small cloud of dust just high enough to obscure her vision, allowing him to hop away as what he saw left the crater she was sent flying into with an odd aura pulsing around her.

"Ho? You think a little trick could save you? Nice tr-" She was cut off by the punch that she didn't see coming. She was sent flying away from us as Yoma smashed into her.

He smiled at the first hit that the bitch had taken… only for it to fade as he got a good look at Yoma's hunched-over form. With each second that passed, he grew more and more uncertain as she continued to growl and snarl at the yellow bitch. Her normally calm blue aura had flowed into a yellowish aura that roared like a fire at the edges. But the most important part?

Why were her eyes pure white with no pupils?

He grunted as he smashed another of these Lantern wannabes into the ground, snarling as he watched the yellow ring fly into the air to join the others. Standing to his full height, he looked to his squad to see that one pair had taken out their Lantern while the other pair was playing with it. The fools.

He growled briefly before rushing forward and smashing into the Lantern that was being played with.

"Listen up, as you know, we don't have time to play with our enemies like we normally do. Go for the kill at your first chance." He barked at them as the ring flew off of the body of the Lantern he was standing over. The two that were goofing off straightened their backs and nodded as the other two agreed. Sighing, he looked at the rubble around them. It didn't look like they had much time.

"Alright, we don't have a lot of time left. Tora take the others and get Gine and Kakarot off-world, take them to the planet we were scoping out earlier." He ordered before he turned and started going in the opposite direction.

"What about you Bardock?" Tora questioned but he didn't stop, instead, he started floating as he prepared to fly off.

"I'm getting my eldest son." He spoke, his voice cold with rage before he sped off in the direction he knew Raditz should be.
