Preface: This is a series of one shots set during the events of Through Dangerous Times, which is a follow up, set a few years after the events of Harry2's story Ronins on the Hellmouth, which is set in the Wandererverse. In this universe, when Buffy died by the Master in the season 1 finale, she was revived Highlander style immortal instead of Xander's CPR. Also, Jenny Calendar and the second slayer Kendra don't die in this universe. Joyce also didn't die from the brain aneurysm and Faith stayed good. In addition, FBI agents Mulder and Scully are immortal as well as married, so if you are not a fan of them as a couple, it's best to avoid this universe. In addition, Richie Ryan is alive and was not beheaded by Duncan, and the events of the sixth season of Highlander doesn't exist.
For the record, this is mostly focused on the Highlander part of the Wandererverse. However, I want to point out that there's a large number of references of both The Legendary Adventures of Hercules and Xena: Warrior Princess, which is more applies for Harry's story than mine, but I thought I'd let you all know that the Greek Gods are very active in the Wandererverse.
Also, this is my first try in writing Highlander as a whole. I'm looking forward to this as I started watching Highlander: the Series on Me-TV plus and Amazon Prime.

Power Rangers: the Highlander One-Shots
Mystic Immortal Awakened
The rangers were in for an intense battle. Vida, the current pink Mystic Ranger, looked around as her teammates prepared for battle. They were facing off against the newly revived Necrolai, who was preapred to fight the rangers. Not only that, she was more ruthless than before, probably because whatever it was that revived her, caused Nikki to turn against the rangers and their allies. They still had no idea what caused Necrolai's surprise return and why, but they would somehow find out.
The rangers' boss Toby was heartbroken by it at first, but he somehow managed to move on due to the fact that Nikki's own daughter Leelee was now against her mother and wanted to help Toby and the rangers, much to the latter's surprise.
"Looks like Nercrolai has become more ruthless than ever," Nick, the red Mystic ranger stated. He had returned to Briarwood upon finding out a new threat was attacking the city.
"Leelee, watch over little Melody," Madison, the blue Mystic ranger told the blonde, who nodded and managed to get the six year old child/niece to Xander the green Mystic ranger to a safe place while they watched from that location.
"I am ready to destroy you rangers for good!" Necrolai declared.
"You won't be destroying us!" Nick objected before the team prepared to morph, "Ready?"
"Ready!" Xander, Chip, Madison and Vida all answered.
"Magical Source, Mystic Force!"
The five rangers powered up.
"Fearsome as Fire, Red Mystic Ranger!"
"Fast as Lighting, Yellow Mystic Ranger!"
"Fluid as the Sea, Blue Mystic Ranger!"
"Ever Changing as the Wind, Pink Mystic Ranger!"
"Strong as a Tree, Green Mystic Ranger!"
"Power Rangers Mystic Force!"
The five rangers began their fight with Necrolai and her hidiacs, and the outcome was strong at first, in favor of the rangers.
"Don't forget about us!"
Daggeron, the Solaris Knight Mystic Force ranger joined the scene, followed by Clare, the new White mystic Ranger, in place of Udonna after her untimely death, and finally Leanbow, the Crimson Wolf Warrior.
"No matter," Necrolai replied as she crossed her arms, "the more, the merrier."
"Power of the Sun, Solaris Knight!"
"Flurry of Snow, White Mystic Ranger!"
"Wolf Warrior!"
"It doesn't matter how many of you rangers are here," Necrolai stated, "I will destroy all of you!"
Nick unleashed fire power to eliminate his opponents. Vida did the same with her wind powers. Xander followed suit and then Chip with their respective elements of Earth and Thunder. Madison finished off the hidiacs with her water powers.
"You may have defeated my hidiacs," Necrolai stated, "but I will be the one who destroys you rangers!"
The battle became intense and despite the odds, the rangers became overwhelmed by how ruthless Necrolai was being and how she was pulling out all the stops on them.
The rangers were with some injury, some more than others. Vida, appeared to be more injured than the others, and she knew things were not going to end well for her, unless a miracle happened real soon as she was limping, barely able to move.
"Sis!" Madison called out.
"No!" Vida replied, "Don't go any further!"
"This looks bad," Xander stated as the other rangers grouped back together.
"Now for the final strike," Necrolai stated, preparing another dark attack, aiming for Nick, Madison, Xander and Chip, something Vida saw right away.
"Watch out!" the pink ranger shouted before pushing her teammates out of the way. It was enough time to save the four, but not enough time to save herself as the blast hit her in full force, causing her to fall to the ground and demorph.
"Vida!" Nick exclaimed in shock.
"Sis!" Madison added.
"Oh no!" Xander
"No!" Chip
Even Leanbow, Daggeron and Clare looked on in shock.
"I think we should leave them," Necrolai told her remaining, "they're at a disadvantage with a ranger down."
Necrolai left the scene, vanishing in dark energy.
"I wasn't lucky," Vida said as the other rangers surrounded her, "was I?"
"I'm afraid not," Chip shook his head.
"We'll get you help, Vida," Nick stated.
"No," Vida groaned in pain, "it's okay."
The rangers looked as Melody started crying and Leelee was trying to comfort her.
"Melody," Vida looked over at the traumatized young girl, "did you...have fun? That...that's good."
"Hang in there, V," Chip looked at his dying friend, "you just got to hang in there!"
"I'm sorry," Vida told the rangers, "I...I wish...I could help...find the source of the...dark energy...behind Necrolai's return."
"We'll find out," Leanbow assured her.
"It's too bad," Vida head limped to the side, "I wish I...could be able...to help you...with the new...threat...until the very end."

Leelee looked on in shock at what her mother had done. This had to be the worst thing that her mother had ever done, even surpassing the times she originally fought against the Mystic Force rangers. She looked down to see Melody crying. Seeing this upset Leelee even more.
This was supposed to have been a fun day at the carnival. Instead, Necrolai had to ruin it and kill the pink mystic ranger.
No. Necrolai was not her mother. Not anymore. Leelee had no idea who the hell that woman was that the rangers fought. She had to take a stand. She had to do something.
Leelee looked on for a moment as the remaining Mystic Rangers did a short memorial for Vida. Her heart broke for Madison, who had just lost her sister.
"Damn it!" Nick cried out in anguish.
"Nick," Madison tried to comfort her boyfriend.
"I was supposed to protect my team!" Nick exclaimed, "I was supposed to keep you guys safe!"
"Vida was a ranger," Leanbow assured his son, "and she knew the risks."
Daggeron stated, "And she will never be forgotten."
Leelee couldn't stand by any longer than she had. She took a deep breath and grabbed the pink mystic morpher.
"Leelee?" Xander looked on, confused.
"What are you doing?" Clare asked.
"Necrolai won't win!" Leelee declared, "I am going to see to that, no matter what!"
Moments later, she ran as she powered up as the new Pink mystic ranger.
"How is that even possible?" Chip asked.
"I'm not sure," Nick answered, "but we need to follow her."
"Right!" the other rangers nodded in agreement before taking off after her.

Vida had no idea how long she could keep this charade up. Yes, she was dead. Was she? She found herself trying to hold her breath and pretend she was still dead to not cause a bigger commotion than what Necrolai already caused.
Vida heard talking and then some yelling before she finally heard footsteps, realizing that the others had left. Good, finally she could breathe.
She opened her eyes and looked around. This was not heaven or hell. This was still Earth. Yeap, she was still alive, or was she?
Slowly rising up, Vida glanced up and she decided she was going to find some answers. By that, she had to leave Briarwood, and from there she was going to figure why she didn't die, or what was the meaning of her brief death?
Nevertheless, Vida Rocca would soon find out what was going on.
Author's Note: This chapter is the beginning of what's to come. It mainly focuses on Vida's immortal journey, even though Shane (the other ranger who dies and revives Highlander style immortal) and the other Mystic Force Rangers, including Vida's replacement Leelee, make cameos. The next chapter should hopefully bring in the Highlander characters. You'll see the gist of this in my other PR story Through Dangerous Times. In the meantime, catch you on the flip side!
