Welcome back to Elemental Crisis Book I. Last time, we finally learned the origin of my version of Red Death, which I still hope was at least better than the one the CW writers came up with. But just as the evil speedster finished his monologue, he made that most famous of speedster weapons, a super-fast vibrating hand, ready to plunge it straight into Iris West-Allen. But thankfully, Flash is on his way to save her. But will he make it in time? Read on to discover...

(Our scene starts just as we left it, with Red Death advancing on Iris West-Allen, his hand vibrating at super speeds, turned into a weapon of instant death as evil speedsters are want to do.)

Red Death: I really didn't want it to come to this, Iris. But, if I'm to get my world back, Lord Malefor's orders must be followed...

(With that, Red Death cocks his arm back, primed to plunge that vibrating hand straight into Iris West-Allen's chest. But before he can, a blur of yellow lightning enters the room and kicks Red Death into the wall. Flash has arrived)

Flash: You may be Eddie's doppelganger, but you're clearly not him. This proves it.

Red Death: (Getting back up) You said one true thing in that statement. I'm not your Eddie Thawne. I'm better.

(And with that, the two speedsters begin to clash, trails of red and yellow lightning going all over the room. And for Flash, this looks all too familiar, it's almost exactly the same as the scene he witnessed at the death of his mother in a fight between him and Reverse Flash. Not wanting to relive this moment, Flash changes up the mission and forces Red Death out the window, taking the fight down the wall of the Bentley Building before hitting the street as Flash starts to lose speed due to the nanites in Red Death's suit.)

Red Death: I really thought you'd be smarter than this, Barry. Have you already forgotten about the nanites? Every time I land a blow, I steal your speed. You're nothing but a dynamo to me!

(But just as Red Death is about to strike Flash again, a familiar winged shadow flies in and slams Red Death straight in the helmet, revealing Spyro as he lands between the two speedsters)

Spyro: Last I checked, your nanites do nothing to me.

(As Red Death gets back up, another flash of yellow lightning emerges and starts punching Red Death, before stopping to reveal Kid Flash)

Kid Flash: Besides, you're outnumbered.

(And true to Kid Flash's words, the Waverider arrives over the scene, with Cynder entering the fray, joined by Superman and Supergirl while the rest take their positions on the ship.)

Red Death: I may be outnumbered, but I'm not outpowered! Did you really think I came alone?

(And in a thundering crash, Malefor descends from the skies above, taking on a massive form, large enough to dwarf the Waverider.)

Spyro: (Seeing how huge Malefor is right now) Oh, that's not good.

Kid Flash: Not even remotely.

(And as if to make things worse, from Malefor's shadow emerges the other Dark Knights: Joker, General Luthor, Black Siren, Dark Archer, Myriad, Malefic J'onnz, and Painkiller, backing up Red Death)

Flash: (Getting back to his feet) And it looks like it just got worse.

Malefor: This is your final warning, Flash. (Summons the stolen Elements in his palm) Return the Element you have stolen from me, or everyone and everything you care about will be destroyed.

(And thus the stalemate stands, Malefor and his Dark Knights with the stolen Elements on one side, The League and the dragons with all the Waverider's tech on the other. But before the battle can truly begin, the scene ends)

And that looks like a good spot to wrap up for now, another nice little cliffhanger. But I promise you this, it will be one of the last ones. This story's already close to wrapping up. Yes it hasn't been that long, but since the overall plot of this entire story is going to be spread across multiple stories across the different Arrowverse series, I think it's fair to keep the actual stories themselves on the short side, since they total up to more when considered as a package deal. I only estimate two chapters remain from this point. So, next time, the battle begins. Who will emerge victorious? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
