Cassi's nostrils flared as she struggled to break free. "Bugger off!" She yelled and tried to kick harder.
Her assailant did nothing but hush her as he pulled her back onto the back wall. "If you behave, this will only take a second." He covered her mouth. "Fuck!" He released her after she bit his palm.
Cassi's freedom was only for a second as she was pulled back onto the wall. "Elliot!" She struggled. "My dad is going to kill you."
"You don't pick up my calls and you don't text me back. Did you block my number? That's rude."
"So is your existence but you don't see me complaining."
Elliot placed his hands on the wall, trapping her between them. "Listen, I only wish to talk with you."
Cassi crossed her arms. "Oh, of course, of course. 'Hey, Cassi, it's me, the guy who used you to start the apocalypse…fancy a coffee!'" she growled.
"Now, that's rude." He smirked.
Cassi smiled warmly at her former friend. "You think so? I always thought this was rude." She licked her index finger, igniting a small spark and an even bigger one when she wiped her finger on his face.
"Fuck!" Elliot cradled his cheek and began to put out the small flame and, unfortunately for him, Cassi had made a run for it.

Crowley flushed his body against Aziraphale, grinding as much as he could. He tried to keep his noises to a minimum, especially when the angel's hand had snaked inside his shirt and began tease his skin underneath. He could feel Aziraphale's hard on press against his lower stomach and he knew the angel could feel his as well. He moaned into their kiss as the angel thrusted forward, a smirk on his angelic face. "I could," he said breathlessly, "do it…hmm…just say the word."
Aziraphale inserted his thumb inside the demon's mouth, making Crowley suck on it as if it was his last supper. "Stopping time just so we can fuck is not exactly a good use of your abilities."
"No one would notice." Crowley licked. "We haven't done anything for three days." He whined.
Aziraphale chuckled softly and wrapped his arms around his neck. Crowley placed his hands around the angel's waist and began to sway to the music, not at all keeping up with the rhythm as he tried to grind their cocks together as best as he could from there position. They were in their own little world as they stood near one of the walls, the demon shielding the angel from the crowd. "I told you,-" Aziraphale kissed him, "when we're home."
Crowley grunted and stomped his foot like a child. "Please, angel. Ngk, I'm getting married in two weeks…I need to get it out of my system."
"And what exactly does that have to do with anything?"
"I heard marriage changes a person." He shrugged. "I bet you will not even look at me the way you do right now. No, you'll be with the baby and too tired to fuck me. I would have to drink my sadness away and then I'll be too drunk to think straight…you'll…I'll pick a fight, you'll throw me out of the house and ne-next thing we know, you get custody of the children, our homes, and the Bentley. I-I'll be in the streets withering…withering on about how my husband never love-loved me and it all ssstarted at our-our bachelor party."
"Don't be silly." He chuckled. "You are more than welcome to live in the greenhouse."
"How kind." Crowley laughed and leaned forward to kiss the angel, only for him to bump into the angel's forehead as a small body bumped into him. "Ow." he muttered as he rubbed his nose.
Aziraphale grunted as the small impact made him lose his balance for a second.
"Dad, can we go?" Cassi looked around and tugged on Crowley's jacket.
Crowley pulled back from Aziraphale and straightened himself. "Yea, alright." He agreed without question.
"Let me go get Muriel and we can be off." Aziraphale fixed his bowtie. "Dearest, why don't you go inform Maggie, Nina, and Mrs. Sandwich and please thank them for taking us out." He walked away.
"Meet you by the car." Crowley walked just a step forward but was slightly pulled back as Cassi still grabbed on to his jacket and so, he took her hand in his and led her through the crowd.
"Wa-wait." Crowley's long fingers turned back the page while he mumbled under his breath and after a few seconds, he turned the page once more. "I think she should not give a fuck on what anyone thinks or says."
"Language." Aziraphale chastised from across the room.
Cassi had begun reading, from what Crowley read a mere step away, an interesting book. He didn't read, although Aziraphale knew better, but was willing to read anything that humored him. Nor him or Cassi knew how they got to that position, her sitting on one of the chairs while her demon dad read over her shoulder. "Were people really that annoying back then?"
"Erm," he shrugged, "people let the word of God rule them and those who did not follow her words were ostracized. While people have changed down here on earth, things are still the same in heaven."
"Are you saying if papa ever goes back to heaven, he will have to wear a scarlet 'A' as well?" Cassi giggled at the thought.
Crowley grinned and looked towards Aziraphale, who was busy rearranging the books that were still categorized by the letter of the first sentence. "Yes, but the 'A' would stand for Anthony."
"Ah, so the angels would know who he belongs to."
"Exactly." Crowley laughed along with Cassi.
"It would be a 'C' not an 'A.'" Aziraphale placed another book on the shelf. "Anthony is your earthly name, dearest."
"Dad, I've been meaning to ask, what does the 'J' stand for?"
Crowley stammered. "It's just a 'J', really."
"Right." Aziraphale came around a bookcase. "Shall we call it a night?"
Crowley tapped Cassi's shoulder. "Read it to me tomorrow?" He smiled warmly. "I would very much want to know when Hester tells them where they can stick it."
"Oh, is it late already? We can't continue our reading?"
"I'd rather you get some rest, darling. We head back to the cottage tomorrow."
Cassi rolled her eyes. "I'm ethereal… I don't need sleep."
Crowley sucked air through his teeth. "She's got a point."
"Regardless, darling, it's a long drive." They started up the spiral stairs with the demon following the angel.
"Are you going to be loving each other?" Cassi blurted out without thinking.
"What?" Aziraphale halted and almost missed a step. "No."
"No?" Crowley raised a brow.
Aziraphale shook his head. "No." He said firmly.
"No." Crowley stated disappointingly towards Cassi.
"Then we can read." She nodded enthusiastically.
Aziraphale gestured for Crowley to descend the three steps he had taken. "What is the matter, darling girl?"
"No-nothing. I simply…want to spend time with you."
"With us?" The nephalem's parents questioned in unison.
"Yea… but," she stammered, "you're absolutely right. It's getting late but, uh, may I stay down here a while?"
"Of course, darling. This is your home too." They made their way up the stairs once more. "Please don't touch the west side of the shop, I'm almost done fixing it. Good night, darling."
"You can just miracle the books back in order." Crowley followed. "Also," he whispered, "are we really not going to love each other tonight?"
Once out of ear shot, and when Cassi knew their bedroom door was closed, she retrieved her phone from her pocket and clicked a few buttons. The only reason she wanted her parents to loiter around was because she wanted to prolong the inevitable. "What do you want?" She glared out onto the street as she pressed her phone on her ear.
The snow covered street was empty with a nearby street lamp being the only source of light however, the only other shining light was from Elliot's phone as he stood in front of Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death. "Not even a genuine hello?" He smirked. "I have missed you, little nephalem."
Cassi growled and narrowed her brow. "You have five seconds to tell me what you want, or I will call my dad."
Elliot chuckled. "Is there a way to persuade you to come outside?"
"Four seconds."
"Fine." He sighed. "I understand heaven had a little chat with you."
"What of it?"
"You're not really picking their side are you? You don't belong with them."
"They didn't ask me to come to their side and even if they had, I would never choose them. I already have a side."
"Ah, yes, your naughty parents." He grinned. "Was your dad pissed when he found out they were used to create you?"
Cassi shook her head. "What are you on about?"
"Remember when we went to Wales, and I showed you the makings? You know, the one with your fathers and yourself. Well, turns out it's all true. Your dad fell because he had to be a demon to, you know, get it on with your angel father."
Cassi stood silent.
"Oh," he whistled, "they didn't tell you. Hm, perhaps they didn't tell you how they were threatened by heaven? They want to separate you from them."
"They wouldn't."
"Won't they? Did they almost not cast your father into hell fire? See, this is why I needed you to start the events of the war. Heaven and hell fight it out, we watch them destroy each other, and we can, I don't know, take over. Well, not earth because it will all be gone."
"I don't want to take over anything."
"Ugh, fine. I'll tell the others to spare you and your angel father, your dad, eh, never liked the bloke. He could sense me from the beginning."
"Why?"
"I don't know, honestly, but my take, he is one powerful demon."
"No, why are you so determined for heaven and hell to destroy each other?"
"You would too if they left you an orphan." Elliot finally admitted.
"But…that was heaven. Surely you would only need to go after heaven."
"You don't get it, do you?"
Cassi shook her head.
"Who do you think does the torturing up in heaven because it is not the innocent angels? They hate us, Cassi. They hate our kind because it goes against what they have established; a divide between two entities. We represent the possibility of a peaceful existence between them. Demons are to hate angels and angels are to hate demons. That's also the reason why heaven hates your parents, especially now because they could not give two fucks about what anybody thinks and are getting married. Do you know what that is doing to heaven? Do you know how bad that looks on the outside? An angel falling for a demon and having a child with it! That's why my parents were killed! Because they made the mistake of falling in love." He continued with an ominous tone. "Love is what killed them and all the others who created us. Love is a dangerous and disgusting emotion one can possess. We don't need it."
Cassi shuddered at Elliot's sudden change of tone. Gone was her kind natured friend and instead, she witnessed the nephalem her dad always warned her about. "I represent my parents' love just like you represent yours. If we can…if we can convince heaven and hell that it's not a bad thing…surely…all can be well."
Elliot shook his head and suddenly appeared near the shop's window, making Cassi yelp as he took her by surprise. "Cassi, you are so clever but what I don't understand is how can a clever nephalem such as yourself be so stupid."
