During the first official meeting of Dumbledore's Army, Harry asked everyone to partner up.

Draco was a little annoyed, because they had to choose partner's.

Astra walked up to him. "Would you like to be my partner, Draco?" she asked.

"Sure," he said. "I'm worried that I'll fell the need to go easy on you, but I'll try not too, although maybe I should go easy on you because you're three years below me."

Astra paused. "Wait right here," she ordered.

Draco would not normally take orders from his little sister, but today he just waited right there while Astra went and talked to Hermione. She soon came back, with Hermione.

Hermione looked at him. "Draco, would you like to be my partner," she asked.

Draco paused, and then nodded. Astra went and worked with Heather, nearby. Ron casts Draco an annoyed look, and then partnered up with Neville.

Working with Hermione was awkward, at first, but he got used to it and it looked like Hermione did too. They never really even spoke to each other, but it went alright.

Draco glared at the Gryffindor's, after being defeated in the Quidditch match. He was tempted to mock, but instead he said nothing.

Later that day, something even worse than losing at Quidditch happened. Draco found out that Hagrid was back.

The next day, he entered the room of requirement, for the Dumbledore's Army meeting. Harry soon approached. "Hi Draco. That was a good game, yesterday, wasn't it? Maybe you'll win next time." He held his hand out, as though for a handshake.

Draco stared at him, in shock. "Did my sister put you up to this?"

"Um… maybe."

Draco shrugged, and then shook his hand. He was not sure what to think about this.

On their way back to the Slytherin common room, one night, after prefect duty, Pansy turned to Draco. "Draco, you've been pretty quiet lately."

"I've been missing my two best friends," he said. He was lying. He didn't miss them at all.

"But, it's worse now than at the beginning of the school year. It's almost as though you're worried about something, and you keep on worrying about it more and more." She paused. "Is your sister a werewolf?" she bluntly asked.

Draco stopped walking, and stared at her, in shock.

Pansy stopped, turned so that she was right in front of him, and crossed her arms. "I'll take that as a yes," she said.

"No," Draco said, snapped. "She has never turned into a hideous, filthy, horrifying, monster. She just has lycanthropy. How did you even figure this out?"

"Well, first of all it was clear since she showed up last year that there some something wrong with her."

"Didn't I explain that a long time ago," he said. He remembered giving a fake explanation to the other Slytherin's, and he thought everybody had bought it.

"Yeah. If I recall correctly, you said that she was a rebel, who was nervous about being too rebellious. That seemed a little absurd. Also, I've caught Professor Snape giving you a flask of something, shortly before the full moon, which you could have been delivering to your sister. Also, last night was a full moon, and this morning I looked at Astra, in the great hall, and she looked really tired."

"Yes. She has lycanthropy. I'm very worried that Voldemort will find out. I know that this is pathetic, but that worry just keeps on getting worse as time goes on. Please don't tell anyone."

"I don't think it's pathetic. I think it's kind of sweet. I won't tell anyone, as long as you don't tell anyone about this," she said, right before she kissed him.

Draco starred at in her shock, for a bit, and then he kissed her.

He had been lying about the worry getting worse and worse. He was just as worried about it, when Voldemort first came back, as he was now. He just knew that he could not tell Pansy that he now had a second secret, which he had not had before. He felt bad about keeping the secret from her.

Narcissa listened to her daughter, talk about Mr. Weasley getting attacked, while Lucious grinned a very sly grin.

Narcissa knew how to read her husband, and she knew that that grin meant that he at least knew something about it. She tried to act as though she did not notice, as she did not want the children to know.

"Sweetie, why do you care so much? You don't even know Mr. Weasley."

"Most of my friends do," Astra said, "and one of my friends has something invading his mind or something."

Last Christmas break, Astra would not have mentioned anything that would let her father know that she was friends with Harry Potter, but by now they all knew that Lucious had someone found out.

"So, how are you, Draco?" Lucious asked.

"Not too great," Draco said. "That oof Hagrid is back, and he's as awful a teacher as always."

"Does anyone have any good news?" Narcissa asked, but the moment she said that she wished she hadn't. As much as she wanted to hear about their secret defense against the dark arts classes, she did not want them to mention it in front of their father, but hopefully they would already know not to do that.

"Me and Pansy kissed," Draco said.

"What that?" Narcissa exclaimed. "You're too young to -, wait, no you're not."

Lucious laughed, while Narcissa wondered how her little boy got to be so old.

That night, she stopped by each of her children's bedchambers and chatted with each of them individually. They both told her about Dumbledore's Army, which they had been scared to mention in letters, and Draco told her that Pansy figured out that Astra had lycanthropy. Narcissa acted like it wasn't a big deal, but really she was thinking about all the people who knew about it now. Afterwards, she went outside and screamed in frustration.
