Third Person POV
Today's exams were exhausting. Even though each test itself was easy enough to handle, so many in one day can wear a person out.
Shortly after dinner, Harry pulls Ron, Draco and Theo aside. "You two know I have some kind of connection with Tim, right?" They nod, so he continue, "The last time I had a headache as bad as today, I had a vision of Moony's attack. Now, it may just be stress from the exams, but I doubt it. Would you guys mind staying with me, just in case?"
"Of course!" Draco exclaims.
"Harry, you're our brother. If you need us there, we'll be there." Theo assures him.
"Bloody hell, mate. I'm your best friend, of course I'm helping you." Ron concludes, mildly offended that Harry doubted them.
"Thanks, guys." The four of us head to my dormroom.
Across the hall, Luna stares into space before arranging a sleepover of her own.
Just after midnight, three young men are awakened by screaming. Knowing what it means, they each get to work.
Ron goes to Harry, waking up the panicking teen. He calms Harry down and gets information about the dream. Before taking him to Dumbledore's office.
Draco runs from the room, heading to gather Professors Snape, McGonagall and Dumbledore. He demands each to go to the Headmaster's office, before running off again.
Theo goes to Persephone and Regulus, knowing that whatever is going on with Harry, he'll need his sister. On the way to their destination, Luna intercepts them.
"The night is filled with mourning. Be careful, all of you. I'll gather the others and we will wait in the Great Hall for news," She says, ominously.
Six teenagers gather by the floo, ready to depart on a mission. Their objective, rescue the hostage and wait for back up.
Snape and McGonagall go to their respective classrooms to start floo calling the Order. It'll be an all hands on deck kind of night.
One by one, the students enter the Ministry. Ron, Theo and Draco share Harry's invisibility cloak, while he, Regulus and Persephone cast Parsel- disillusion charms.
Finding the Department of Mysteries is easy, navigating it not so much. They mark the door to the atrium and finally exit the Ever-changing hallway, hearing far off screams. Regulus stares wide eyed into the distance, recognizing the sound that to him was only a year ago.
"We need to split up," Regulus tells them. "Tom is after the prophecy about he and Harry. Only mentioned members may pick it up, so Harry and Draco should go get it. The rest of us will cause a distraction while we wait for the Order." The two tear off towards the aisle Harry saw in his visions. Regulus leads the group closer to the screams, slightly shaking but determined more than ever. "It's Mrs. Malfoy, isn't it?" Ron quietly asks. "That's why you sent Draco away, right?"
Regulus nods, sadly. "Yeah, Lucius used to torture her for not getting pregnant fast enough, not providing him an heir."
A few aisles away from Narcissa, Regulus and Ron circle around the shelves, so the group can attack both sides. Creeping closer, they see a man standing above Narcissa's bloody body laying on the ground, body spasming from prolonged cruciatus exposure.
"Bombarda!" "Incendio!" "Confringo!" "Sectumsempra!" The man no longer stands there, instead painting the broken shelf beside him.
Persephone drops to her knees to check over her new patient. Narcissa has a low pulse and labored breathing, but the biggest immediate worry is the head wound and it's excessive bleeding. Applying as much pressure as she can without further hurting Narcissa, she intructs Theo to start wrapping her head. The bleeding has slowed enough to move her.
"Ron, Theo, get her back to Hogwarts. Straight to Madame Pomphrey. Tell her it may be a Longbottom situation, over an hour of almost constant exposure." They make it to the elevator by the time the other two boys make it back.
Spells are flying out of the darkness, Death Eaters in pursuit. The four teens start firing back, both dark and light spells flying overhead. The young group is doing their best to guide everyone back to the Rotating Hallway, closer to the exit and the Order's reinforcements.
A spell from Draco hits a dark haired man in the chest, caving it in and killing him instantly. This only enrages the other masked figures. A slicing spell hits Harry in the arm, causing him to switch hands.
A bone breaker hits Regulus in the arm, just as the door slams open, flooding the room with reinforcements. A few Death Eaters get distracted by the new arrivals, a mistake which causes a few of them to be stupified and tied up. Unfortunately, most of them kept attacking.
Sirius and Remus quickly join the four teens, targeting every mask in sight. In the background, the Order members are taking as much damage as they're dishing out, but still knocking people unconscious.
The Order is able to slowly surround the gathered Death Eaters, when spells start flying from behind them. Of course Tom would have expected a response, sending in grunts while his inner circle waited out the fight.
After the arrival, everything gets chaotic. The high ranked Eaters are each targeting a specific person. Two blonde are sending spells around, both vicious in their attacks. Lucius may have the secret spells passed down the Malfoy line, but Draco has been studying spells developed by the Black Family.
Andromeda, Dora and Ted Tonks are taking on Antonin Dolohov, Macnair, and Yaxley. The small family compliment each other's fighting style, fluidly moving around each other and swapping up opponents. The biggest problem is the executioner's axe that each Tonks keeps narrowly missing. Yaxley manages to land a spell to Ted's back. Ted hits the floor, and Macnair takes a swing. Ted rolls away, but not quickly enough, causing him to lose his left arm from the elbow down. He carturizes the stump, but can no longer fight through the pain. Dora and Andi share before nodding. The three may not be a dark family themselves, but one of them was raised surrounded by it, and willing to do whatever it takes to protect those she loves. The two women nod and start using more deadly force instead of the Orders capture plan. Macnair gets a slicing curse to the throat, curtsey of a pissed off wife. Dora soon gets a confringo to Yaxley's chest, blasting him open. However, in her distraction, Dolohov casts some kind of purple flame(1) in a slashing motion, hitting the younger woman. Dolohov and Andromeda face off.
Bill and Fleur are fighting Greyback together. The wolf viciously swipes his claws and snaps his jaws. The Weasley heir and his wife to be are practically gliding around each other in a well practiced dance, never faltering an attack. Greyback manages to toss Fleur away, and into the wall, letting him focus on Bill. The two men are strong and fierce fighters, but Greyback has more experience. The older man manages to get close enough to claw deep gashes from Bill's right eye to chin. Blood pools down his face, obstructing his sight and slowing his reflexes. The wolf yanks Bill's head back, leaning down to rip his throat out, but he does not succeed. A fireball hits Greyback, burning a hole through his side. The transformed Veela doesn't hold in her fury, letting it further power her spells. "You hurt my mate. Je vais te tuer!"(2) The Harpy starts physically attacking with her claws and powerful wings. The Wolf and the Harpy rage on.
Bellatrix and her husband are fighting Sirius and Harry, both sides taking heavy damage. A blood boiling curse leaves Harry's wand, hitting Rodolpho. Harry is so focused on the fight in front of him, that he doesn't notice the other LeStrange brother sneaking behind him. Sirius sees him, just as Rabastian raises his wand. Jumping in the way of the spell, a piercing curse hits his stomach, knocking him off the platform and away from the Veil of Death.
A well aimed spell by Mad-Eye knocks Rabastian into the arch of the Death Veil, breaking his neck on impact. The retired Auror takes over the fight with Bellatrix, leaving Harry free to cover Sirius.
After setting the bones in his arm, Regulus and Persephone rush around the room, helping fallen comrades and stabilizing major wounds until they can get better help. As soon as each one is safe for transport, they slip emergency portkeys around their neck, courtesy of the Chef Warlock of the Wizengamot, Albus Dumbledore. Each portkey leads directly into Madame Pomphrey's Hospital wing or St. Mungo's depending on the activation phrase. The two have just sent off Ted and Dora, when they see Sirius fall.
The couple fight their way over to the fallen family member. Sirius is alive, but unconscious with many broken bones. Persephone sets the bones, while Harry covers them. The two teens then send him to Pomphrey.
Looking around the room, they see a few Death Eaters bound and unconscious. Dead bodies litter the floor, some masked, others not. Regulus is standing over the lifeless body of Mad-Eye Moody, spells slicing through the air. Each spell is narrowly missing Bellatrix as she taunts him. "I killed Sirius Black. I killed Sirius Black." A severing charm leaves his wand, aimed for her head. With barely any time to react, she moves away, but not far enough. The charm strikes her mid-spin, slicing from the corner of her mouth to her right ear. Holding her mouth together, she sprints away.
Taking Bellatrix's lead, the remaining Death Eaters flee. The remaining Order members gather all of the dead and bring them upstairs. They enter the Atrium at the same time as the top Ministry official.
