Recap
(Read Nemo of the Myriad Worlds I for the Full Story)
My life is weird.
I was born in a world where 80% of the population has superpowers and those powers range from pathetically weak to overwhelmingly strong and were called "Quirks". I was an orphan born with the underwhelming Quirk of [Self-Sustenance]. I didn't need to eat, drink, breathe, or sleep, but not needing the requirements of most living organisms wasn't flashy like super strength or laser eye beams. I was content to live a normal life, using my limitless stamina to my advantage, when I was killed.
I was "killed" in a fight between a Hero and a Villain. Then I was recovered by mad scientist Dr. Kyodai Garaki and transformed into a sentient bioengineered multi-Quirked monster, a special High-End Nomu created in the same vein as Operation Anonymous. Unlike my brethren with their exposed brains, I looked human beyond tar-black skin and was going to be sent to U.A. High School as a spy.
Then, I awoke my past life memories due to a Gamer App – Myriad Survivor. I learned I had been reborn in the My Hero Academia universe, that I was restricted so I couldn't spill my otherworldly knowledge, and I was given Quests for rewards.
Then, I found out the world was a crossover with Marvel. Izuku's twin sister became Spider-Girl due to my actions. I ended up with a Klyntar symbiote named Kurayami and became that world's Venom. We both ended up facing an absurd number of Spider-Man Villains.
I found out my friend and fellow fanfiction writer from my first life NewMystery356 had been reborn as a super-genius named Nobunara Oda and was dating Melissa Shield on I-Island. We also fought two sets of movie villains, robots, and a Nomu version of Carnage.
In the end we finally destroyed all incarnations of All-for-One, both the man and the quirk. Then our little group travelled to our next world.
*NEMO*
New World.
Using the World Key, I open a portal to a new world. The portal is a horizonal pool of swirling glowing liquid resembling mercury. It reminds me of wormhole portals from Stargate: Sg-1, but without the ring of extraterrestrial mineral covered in star patterns.
As we enter the portal, it feels like we are being pulled by an unseen force through a tunnel of light and darkness. It's completely black around me, but I can see a billion stars in front of me compressed to a single point. I can't tell if Izumi is next to me, in front of me, or behind me.
Finally, we exit the portal and find ourselves landing on verdant grass.
"Well, that is weird." I say as I pull myself up and help Izumi to her feet.
"Where are we?" Melissa asks.
"In a forest, but beyond that I don't have a clue," Oda shrugs.

SURVIVE
*NEMO*
It's a cool, dark night illuminated by the moon and stars in the night sky. It's strangely quiet without only the sound of wind blowing through the leaves of surrounding trees. The group stands alert on verdant grass near a dirt road, something dangerous is nearby. Nemo's Quest Alert just increases the tension.
A loud eerie howl can be heard, a bone-chilling sound that reverberates through the air, sending shivers down the spines of those who hear it. My eyes widen as I hear the Very familiar sound. I heard that sound many times while watching one of my favorite anime.
"A Hollow!?"
"A what?" asks Kaina Tsutsumi, ex-Pro-hero Lady Nagant.
"Soul-eating evil spirits born from the souls of the dead." I say before me, and Kurayami take off towards the source of the sound. The others quickly follow. Smart people would be running in the opposite direction, but I'm guessing my time in Hero High School stuck.
*NEMO*
[3rd POV]
The Kingdom of Fiore is one of the countries located on Earth Land. It's ruled peacefully by King Toma E. Fiore from the capital of Crocus. It's notable that many of the cities and towns are named after flowers and trees.
One of the oldest towns in Fiore was Vert-Gable. Its name means Green Anemone. Green for its verdant fields and lush green surrounding forests, which led to the creation of its many farms. Anemone the Wind Flower due to a faint wind that is always blowing in the town. The town is also the hometown of several famous wind magic users and the small Magic Guild "Sylphs' Fangs" led by GuildMaster Aerius Windsong.
Currently, the once beautiful farm town of Vert-Gable is burning. Many of the houses, both new and historical, are either destroyed or badly damaged. The once clean wind is contaminated by smoke and embers, and a dark miasma seems to cling to the ground. The air smells of smoke, ash, and spilled blood. Many of the town's nonmagical population are already dead, literally torn apart by monsters they couldn't see. The mages on the other hand could see the monstrous beings and few remain to fight for their lives.
The monsters are vaguely humanoid in that they have a head, two arms with five fingers, and two legs with toes. The majority have claws, a minority have animal-like features, and the majority have black bodies instead of dark shades of red, grey, or green. The monsters all have holes in their torsos going through their bodies and their faces are covered by white bone masks. They howl to weaken the wills of their prey while staring into souls with their baleful yellow eyes.
"Wind Magic: Howling Strike!" says the GuildMaster of "Sang Sylphes" sending one Hollow flying away from a fleeing mother holding her crying child. He's a tall, thin man with green eyes, light skin, and long flowing white hair that was once as green as his eyes. He's dressed in flowing green-and-white robes that move in the winds generated by his fierce magical aura.
"Wind Magic: Howling Blade!" cries Aerius Windsong, sending out blades of compressed air and vacuum sharper than the sharpest obsidian dagger, each one faintly tinted with green magic. These blades slice through the masks of half a dozen Hollows, causing the monsters to howl as they disintegrate into clouds of dark particles. He struggles with exhaustion after fighting so many spells, so many monsters.
Suddenly, a massive grotesquely muscular Hollow with ram like horns appears behind him and delivers a thunderous blow. Aerius barely generates an air barrier, which only lessens the blow, so he's only sent flying into stone wall, coughing up blood. The Bull Hollow goes in for the kill, only for a black fist to strike the Bull Hollow hard enough to shatter half the mask and send it flying into the sky.
The Black Dragon Hero: Abyss has arrived.
*NEMO*
"Not good," Oda Nobunara muttered as his visor went on the fritz.
Nobunara is a super-genius who developed many advanced technologies based on nanotech - the manipulation of matter with at least one dimension sized from 1 to 100 nanometers (nm). His technology is very rugged and designed to operate in the many environments of MHA Earth, but it was not tested in a magical environment.
In Earthland, Ethernano dwells inside all living organisms, the Earth and throughout the atmosphere. Ethernano, being nanoscale magical particles, can interfere with nanotechnology by occupying the same space or interacting with the nanoparticles, Nanotechnology is also designed to work within normal physics, while magic by its nature is physics-bending. While Nobunara researched all forms of physical phenomenon, he wasn't yet able to research Ethereal energies as such things didn't exist on "Earth-MHA".
This is why when Nobunara calls upon his pliant nanotech, The Clay, it's slower than normal to respond. Not only that, but as his vision fills up with Damage/Error chevrons, the outer layers of his constructs are slowly corroding, bits and pieces generating electrical arcs or an aura resembling St. Elmo's fire.
What's worse is Hollows are spiritual beings. The souls of the dead who have been corrupted and seek to devour the souls of the living.
While it's possible for mundane creatures to hit them, their bodies are more vulnerable to spiritual attacks than physical attacks. At least the magical particles of Earthland's atmosphere render them visible to everyone instead of just those with high spiritual awareness. It's the reason the civilians are running for their lives instead of being torn apart by invisible killer ghosts.
"I'm not afraid of no ghosts."
Nobunara's emitter release brilliant beams of energy, some crackling with electricity. The Hollows screech in pain as the beams strike them. Some of them are sent flying back by the force of the beams into the buildings destroyed by their rampage. Some of them are rendered unable to move as the positively charged beams interact with their negatively charged bodies. Most of their beams target the faces of the Hollows attempting to shatter their masks, as the masks that hide their selves are their most vulnerable points.
Nobunara is still a super-genius and makes plans for everything. He made plans in case the Pro-Heroes turned on him and Nemo, which was a small possibility. He created plans to take down all the major Pro-Hero and the Heroes working at U.A. High School, including Ectoplasm. The mathematics teacher can generate a viscous substance from their mouth and shape it into clones of themselves, which has the properties of ghost ectoplasm. Mirio's Permeation is also like Ghost Intangibility.
Nobunara winces as one of the emitters stops functioning and disintegrates into decaying components. He needs to end this battle quickly, before he burns through all his ammo. Every second tens of thousands of claytronic particles stop functioning, but nanotech can be replaced; human beings, by and large, cannot.
*NEMO*
Izumi and Melissa do what Heroes are meant to do – Save People.
Melissa fires a beam that sends a Hollow flying away from a red-haired family fleeing the town and sending the beast tumbling into a house, that then collapses on it. Another Hollow attempts to jump Melissa from behind, only for Melissa to turn and drive a plasma blade into its stomach. The blade of ionized matter can damage the ghostly creature despite its attempt to become intangible. With a twist, the Hollow is cut in half. Melissa then finishes off the top half by piercing the head.
Normally, she would hesitate to kill creatures, but Nemo called these things soul-eating evil spirits, so it not only counts as non-living, but is a serious threat to human life.
Izumi swings from web lines doing acrobatics in the air to dodge debris. With her superhuman strength she is easily able to lift burning beams, clearing the way from the panicking civilians. She also tosses those same burning beams with surprising force to strike any Hollow that gets too close.
The new Hollow is massive, standing over 3 meters with reptilian features. It's very muscular with layered plates of white bone on most of its black body with long spikes on its back and a unique-looking mask. Its hole is smaller than normal, located higher in the chest, and it even has a long muscular tail ending in a two-pronged spike. Its yellow eyes show more than hunger, but intelligence and malice.
It lets out a deafening roar that shakes the nearby buildings, shattering any windows that aren't already broken. It also releases rippling shockwaves and electrical discharges into the air. As the energy waves pass over Izumi and Melissa their armor glow with St. Elmo's Fire and generate electrical arcs.
The shockwaves are designed to electrically stun prey much like the prey of electric eel, but at a longer distance. This is negated by both armor and natural resistance to electrical attacks. The electromagnetic pulses mixed with the shockwaves would burn out all unshielded active electronics in their home world at this range, but the armors are EM shielded enough to resist most of the damage. The charged etheric particles in the atmosphere are something their armors were not meant to counter and causes cascading error messages. They are forced to disengage from their armors, before a magic-enhanced spiritual blast sends the armor flying and severely damaged.
The Electric Hollow then fires at electrical blast at Melissa as if sensing she is the physically weakest of its targets. Izumi lands in front of Melissa to shield her and is hit by the Lightning. Izumi glows as her body absorbs the destructive electrical discharge, her body glowing underneath her costume. The charge is still powerful enough to burn away some of the costume's material and scorch the ground beneath her black.
Izumi then vanishes in a burst of speed generating a trail of emerald lightning. In the blink of an eye, Izumi's fist pierced the Electric Hollow's head through the mask. After somehow performing the Chidori, Izumi jumps away from the dying Hollow. The beast howls even as its body disintegrates into a cloud of particles, generating arcs of lightning as it dies.
Izumi looks down at her fist, which is still producing tiny sparks of emerald lightning. It's also missing the glove since the attack burst it completely off despite her costume being specially made.
She then runs to save more people from the masked monsters. She is a Hero, and she has a job to do.
*NEMO*
A tall man with dark brown hair and a thick beard is running with a small girl in his arms. The little girl has long brown hair done in twin tails.
Jason Jument was born and raised in Vert-Gable, taking over the Dancing Pony Inn & Bar from his father. It's a popular and historical bar that's been around since the founding of the town. His family has defended the building from storms, criminal wizards, and rampaging wizards, but now that building is burning due to the horrific black monsters. All he can do is save his daughter from the doomed town.
Jason is stopped when a large monster lands in front of him. This one is over 3 meters in height and as muscular as a Gorilla with an Ape-like mask. If he didn't know about the other monsters, he would have mistaken it for a mutated Vulcan. The monster smashes its fists into the ground, explosively shattering the concrete, before it lunges at Jason and his daughter.
The side of the monster's masked head explodes, and a gunshot can be heard. The monster tumbles into the road and begins to disintegrate. Jason and his daughter turn to see a beautiful woman standing on one the buildings with her arm turned into a rifle?
*Nemo*
Lady Nagant keeps her calm despite the large number of masked monsters. She is a sniper, and snipers must be calm to hit their targets. She's not familiar with the magical ammo she gained from Nemo's Gacha, but she correctly deduced it would be more effective than her own personal ammo. Normally she would fire epoxy-like bullets made from her own two-toned hair from her arm rifle, but the magical bullets have more ethereal "weight" to them. She aims for the heads of the Hollows because after a few shots it became apparent that the masks were the main weakness.
"Thanks Lady!" comes the voice of a little girl.
Lady Nagant flashes back to when she was a Pro-Hero and many young children looked up to her. She was the assassin of the Hero Public Safety Commission, killing terrorists, conspirators, corrupt Heroes, and the like to maintain the illusionary peace of the HPSC. The reason she stopped being a "Hero" was because she saw blood on her hands when her fans reached out to her.
Now, she feels different. She's killing true monsters and saving the lives of the innocent.
She wipes away a tear.
*NEMO*
Danjuro Tobita, the Gentle "Former" Criminal, once wanted to be a Hero. Unfortunately, multiple failures and an incident ruined his chances. He became a "harmless" villain for attention, wanting his efforts to be acknowledged in some way. In another timeline, Nezu would have given him a chance after his defeat by Izuku Midoriya and he would have saved all of UA. In this timeline, he has already become a Hero.
His original Quirk [Elasticity] allows the user to bestow the property of elasticity to anything he touches. This allows him to bounce off buildings and streetlights like they are trampolines, which allows him to grab people and carry them to safety. The vibrating elastic structures also confuse the animalistic Hollows.
"I Love You, Gentle!"
Danjuro's lover and former partner-in-crime is Manami Aiba, also known as La Brava. She originally possessed a small body, but a little bioengineering from Nobunara transformed her into the tall beauty she is now. Manami's Quirk [Love] allows the user to power up a target by confessing their feelings for them. This allows her to empower Gentle and allow him to save more lives.
As for herself, the Quirk [Slice] stolen from the villain/terrorist Kiruka Hasaki allows the user to move, harden, and sharpen their own hair. Manami is currently using her hair blades to slice through debris and any hollow that gets too close. Kiruka was capable of slicing through metal with ease, so the weaker armor of the hollows is no match.
*NEMO*
Not all the citizens of Gable-Vert are helpless against the invasion of Hollows. There are Wizards who still put their souls on the line to defend the people.
A young woman with blue eyes and long white hair glows with a bright white aura of magic. Her clothing moves in the wind generated by her own aura, attracting the attention of the Hollows away from the panicking civilians. She grits her teeth as the monster draws close to her, then she yells.
"White Flash!"
A white-haired wizard moves faster than the Hollows can react, striking the Hollows with her glowing fist. As her fist connects with the monsters there is a flash with each strike and the monsters are sent flying. The light magic burns their corrupted spirits, leaving them helpless to her partner.
Her Partner is a tall, lean muscular man who looks more like a warrior than a magic user. He has blue eyes, short black hair, and a handlebar mustache. He's dressed like a waiter for some reason, but his clothing is tearing from the fighting.
"Open Gate of Orion's Sword"
A Celestial Spirit Mage summons a spirit. While the twelve celestial spirits of the Zodiac are the most famous and powerful of the spirits (outside the King himself), there are many spirits and many of them are powerful in their own way. Orion's Sword appears as a decorated black-and-silver scabbard marked with the three stars of its constellation. When drawn from the scabbard, the Celestial Sword associated with Orion's Sword spirit emanates a brilliant and radiant light. Its blade is sharp and gleaming, with intricate designs that shimmer like starlight.
This otherworldly spiritual sword easily slices through the Hollows before the wizard, the blade leaving behind a trail of sparking star dust with its path.
A huge wolf-like hollow attempts to attack a third wizard escorting civilians, but the young teen has a cocky smile. He's a tall, thin teenager with purple eyes, pale skin, long black hair, and dark lips. He's also dressed in black with a cape, which would make Ash say "Chunni Goth". A Chuuni refers to a phase that some (Japanese) adolescents go through, typically around the age of 13 or 14, where they exhibit behavior, such as having delusions of grandeur believing they have secret powers. In Earthland, they aren't always delusional.
"Malicious Eye!"
A purplish-white magical seal appears over the purple iris of one of his eyes and the symbol appears on the lupine Hollow. The Hollow then goes from attacking humans to attacking it's fellow Hollows.
"In the midst of chaos and darkness, behold the power that lies within my very eyes! Witness as the Malicious Eye awakens, casting its malevolent gaze upon the realm of monsters. Behold, for I am the harbinger of destruction, the wielder of forbidden magic that bends even the fiercest beasts to my will. Tremble, oh creatures of the night, for your end draws near at the hands of a true wizard, a master of shadows and whispers."
It's not as impressive as the Malicious Eye works based on the negative energies of the target. Low-level Hollows are already animalistic creatures and cannibals who will attack and feed on each other.
"And I thought that Crow was Chuuni." says a female voice. The Malicious Eye Wizard turns to see a strange site.
"A Maid?"
Himiko Toga is helping a mother and child escape the chaos. The mother is clearly an ordinary non-magical civilian, but the child is glowing with a faint aura. The boy manipulates magical silver into daggers "Silver Make: Dagger". He gives to Toga and then Toga uses the daggers against the Hollows, since she hasn't learned to use her Gacha-gifted magic yet.
Himiko was fortunate to find the boy, as she would have been as useful as a firefighter without gear against the Hollows. The Magical Silver doesn't last long, otherwise he and his mother would be living like rich nobles in Crocus instead of running for their lives in the destroyed Vert-Gable. Toga's skill with bladed weaponry is impressive, sending the magical silver blades into the masks, necks, and eyes of the Hollows.
*NEMO*
A pure black blade collides with my sword and the force of the strike is unreal. I can feel the ground beneath me shatter into dust around my boots as I'm nailed into the ground by the hammering force. My vast superhuman strength struggling against my dark opponent's supernatural strength.
The new Hollow isn't like the others. The others are barely above animals, beasts that run on instinct and rely on strength and number to overcome their prey. This newcomer is far more humanoid, looking like a pitch-black armored knight with a menacing white skull face with glowing red eyes. It also has an impressive set of curved horns and a huge blade instead of a right forearm.
I know I'm in trouble, because the new Hollow looks like White - an experimental Hollow used by Sōsuke Aizen many years prior to his defection from Soul Society. In the anime and manga, White slaughtered Shinigami (Soul Reaper) with absurd ease, slicing them apart like meat faster than the eye could see. Due to Aizen's interference, Isshin Shiba was nearly killed by the Hollow until he was saved the Quincy Masaki Kurosaki. It tried to hollowfy Masaki, but Isshin sacrificed his own soul reaper powers to save her. White was later absorbed by Masaki's unborn child and became the basis for Ichigo's "Vasto Lorde" form! He was one of the most terrifying Hollows in the entire BLEACH series.
As my sword blade clashes against my enemy's absurdly sharp arm blade, I can almost hear ominous battle music playing in the background. My swordsmanship skill is the only thing keeping me alive as each strike creates a shockwave pushing away the smoke in the night air. My superhuman strength and speed is matched by the hollow's supernatural strength and speed. My symbiote Kurayami struggles to protect me, while I'm trying to slice through the Hollow's iron skin.
The Hollow's howl is deafeningly loud at close range and its aura of malice is palatable. Its arm blade moves at an insane speed slicing through everything in its path, slowing for nothing but my own blade. If I didn't have such a sturdy body with limitless stamina, the monster's strikes would be wearing me down.
A red glow is my only warning, before the Hollow fires a Cero. The powerful blast of concentrated spiritual energy fired from between the hollow's horns sends me flying through half a dozen buildings. I'm not sure If I'm crying out in pain, but I can hear Kurayami's cries of pain. Despite the pain, I jumped to my feet in time to block the hollow's overhead sword slash. The force is stronger than ever, and a crater is created under me.
A fraction of a second slows down as my sword blade breaks and I'm slashes across the chest. I can't even retreat as the overpowered Hollow drives his arm blade through me!
*DOOM*
"Where am I?"
I open my eyes and find myself standing on black asphalt in the rain. I realize I'm standing on an island of asphalt in a dark stormy ocean. The sky is covered in thick dark clouds being moved by howling winds. I'm being soaked by heavy rain as red lightning occasionally flashes. I'm also getting sprayed with brine from white-crested waves of the ocean. I look around and see pillars of black rock jutting out of the ocean, but I don't see any ships, not even the dinghy boats I used to see in Newfoundland.
I finally look behind me and see a building that vaguely resembles a Chapters bookstore with the lights still on and run towards it. I can hear parts of the parking lot crumbling away behind me, but I don't look back. I focus solely on moving forward.
As I enter the building, I know it's not normal, as I'm suddenly completely dry and I can't hear the storm outside. The Chapters building is also way bigger inside, bigger on the inside than the outside. It reminds me of a certain British TV series.
"Did one of the Doctor's Incarnations become a Librarian?"
I am a fan of Doctor Who. I became interested in the show with the film starring the Eighth and started watching the reboot with the Ninth. Tenth was the best Doctor in my opinion and many agree with me. Eleventh was fun and twelfth was interesting, Tho I didn't watch many episodes beyond those involving Missy. I didn't watch Thirteenth Doctor because of bad reviews, bad time, and only watched Spy Master reveals. Fourteenth Doctor was an attempt to copy the Tenth and I don't know shit about the Fifteenth incarnation.
I look down at one of the tables and see a Doctor Who DVD box set.
"What the?"
I continue to walk and enter the magazine racks and notice the titles. Popular Science, Popular Mechanics, Scientific America, All About History, Otaku USA, Frank Frazetta's Fantasy Illustrated, and Shonen Jump – all titles that I bought in my first life. I also see Business magazines showing the MCU Tony Stark holding the Iron Man helmet, Lex Luthor from the comics standing in front of the Lexcorp symbol, and David Xanatos with Castle Wyvern on to the Eyrie Building in the background. The final nail is a Pet Magazine with the picture of a Maine Coon on the front, his beloved late cat from my first life.
"I'm inside my own mind."
"Our mind."
I turn to see Kurayami standing behind me. He's taken the form of my double, except everything is the same Vantablack. The only visible trait is his white eyes.
"That Hollow pierced through our soul and caused damage that I can't heal. You were dying, so I was forced to do something extreme."
"You put part of yourself into me?" I ask, "I remember when Shinichi's heart was pierced in Parasyte: The Maxum. An extraterrestrial parasite had taken over Shinichi's mother, and he was killed while in denial. Shinichi's parasite'd right hand Migi saved his life by becoming his heart."
Suddenly, the 24-episode box set of Parasyte -the maxim- by Studio Madhouse is on the table next to me.
"A bit more extreme in my case. I better hurry before you lag us with books." says Kurayami.

Kurayami is gone.
Kurayami is...
I'm in the changed TARDIS-like Bookstore/Library. Previously, the shelves, tables, chairs, and desks were all made of the same dark lacquered brown wood. Now, everything is polished black wood occasionally decorated with opalescent silver or shining gold. Many of the books are now also clad in black dust jackets.
Kurayami's black.
I'm not sure what to do.
I turn and walk towards the doors. As I exit them, the howling storm and grey ocean is gone. Instead, the book island is floating in a sea of stars. Instead of black clouds with red lightning, there are nebulas and young stars above my head. At the end of the "parking lot", I also see something I hate.
The Black Hollow that stabbed through me. It stands still as a statue, not moving a millimeter. The light of the eyes has faded to black, making it look dead. As dead as a monster made of layered dead souls can be.
I punch the Black Hollow and it cracks my thunderous blow. I continue to punch it and it continues to crack. These same punches could have shattered the bones of the strongest Nomu, but only made cracks in the surface of the Black Hollow.

*NEMO*
I'm once more standing in Vert-Gable holding a black sword. The Black Hollow has been destroyed and there is huge slice in the building in front of me. I look down at my outfit and I'm no longer wearing an amorphous extraterrestrial in the form of a military-style superhero costume, the black pseudo matter is disintegrating into fading black particles. It almost reminds me of the miasma/mist generated by Grimm from the latter seasons of RWBY. Thankfully, I'm not naked under the dying extraterrestrial symbiont.
"Are you with me, Kurayami?"
"Always."
Kurayami the symbiote is dead.
Kurayami the Zanpakutō lives as a part of me.
Now and forever.

[...]
I watch as the hundreds of Hollows move towards me, the strongest source of spiritual power. I find myself smiling and a wave of darkness expands from me to blacken the land and skies. Within the Darkness time has stopped. It's unnaturally quiet, then I move.
"MYRIAD SHADOWS!"
In the fraction of a heartbeat the pitch darkness explodes out of existence to reveal all the Hollows are sliced in half. Wind howls as the air was displaced by sword's movement. I look up as the Hollows completely disintegrate into nothing. It's a cool, dark night illuminated by the moon and stars in the night sky.
Everything then goes black for me.

The Black Wizard Zeref is a name feared in Earthland. He is believed to be the strongest, most evil Mage of all time, who possesses extremely dangerous and powerful Magic – [Death] and [Life] Magic. The former able to kill anything that lives and the latter able to transform mundane objects into demons under his control. In truth, Zeref Dragneel was orphaned when Dragons killed his family, and all his research was to get his brother back. He was cursed by the Gods for attempting to control life and death – made Immortal but forever alone due to the [Death] Magic he generated. He has spent centuries attempting to either change the past, revive his brother, or kill himself. The latter leads to the creation of his own race of demons from his books – The Etherious – who desire to grant their master's final rest.
Physically, Zeref is not impressive. He's a young-looking, weak-looking mage. He has short black hair, pale skin, dark eyes, and abnormally sharp canines. He wears high-collared black and tan robes with gold trim, along with a large, flowing white toga draped around his torso.
Zeref turns as he senses something new. Not knowing he's looking toward the direction of Vert-Gable.

The Black Dragon of the Apocalypse: Acnologia. A cataclysmically powerful and feared dragon known to all of Earthland. Very few know his true origins. He is a powerful Dragon Slayer that can take the form of a Dragon at any time due from his overuse of Dragon Slayer Magic and bathing in the blood of the Dragons he killed. The Arcane Dragonslayer rose to become the Dragon King on the corpses of all dragons.
He's currently in the form of a rather muscular young man with blue-green eyes and long, dark blue-colored hair. His dark skin has dark blue markings which match the markings on his dragon form. He wears a high collared, black cloak (which also bears his draconian markings), sharp red claws around his neck, a sash around his waist, a gold arm ring tightened around his right upper arm, and baggy pants which are decorated.
"I sense... another Dragon." he growls out.

[Somewhere not meant for humans]
[3rd POV]
A vast and barren landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see. The terrain is rolling dunes of fine white sand, devoid of any vegetation or water sources. A cold desert, lacking even the heat of the sun and no moisture to create ice crystals. The sky above is perpetually dark, with a large moon looming overhead.
In the deserts of this otherworld, a vast and terrifying castle looms ominously on a plateau, casting a dark shadow over the barren landscape. This imposing structure is the stronghold of the strongest of monsters. A vast army of horrific monsters with bone masks circle the castle but don't dare make a sound as they fear the castle's absolute ruler.
The castle is a marvel of Gothic architecture, with towering spires, intricate carvings, and imposing battlements that strike fear in all who behold it. Its bone-white stone walls are adorned with eerie symbols and sigils that seem to pulse with malevolent energy, giving the impression that the very fabric of reality is twisted within its confines.
Within the castle's walls lies a maze of corridors, chambers, and halls shrouded in perpetual darkness. The air is thick with the scent of decay and ancient magic, adding to the sense of foreboding that permeates every corner of the fortress. Sinister whispers echo through the halls, hinting at unspeakable horrors lurking in the shadows.
At the heart of the castle lies the throne room, where the Vasto Lorde holds court over their subjects with an iron fist. The room is adorned with trophies of past conquests, including the skulls of fallen enemies and artifacts imbued with dark power. The throne itself is a twisted monstrosity crafted from bones and obsidian, symbolizing the ruler's dominance over their domain.
"Did you sense it, Aranea?" says the monarch on the throne of death, the vast lord, the highest of hollows. He's humanoid standing two meters tall with a lean muscular build. His skin and short hair are the purest white, that seems to glow in the darkness. His irises are shining silver surrounded by pure black sclera, making them resemble the full moon in his world's dark sky. He's dressed in black and bone-white armor with a crown of bone on his head. The two horns extending from his head fit the image of a demon king.
"Yes, your Majesty." says his servant.
Aranea is a tall, athletic, and very beautiful woman with red eyes, black skin, and long frost-white hair tied in a half bun with six offshoots wrapped together that also suspends several obsidian-colored ornaments. Combined with the lochs near the sides of her face, it almost resembles a spider. She has pointed ears, sharp black nails, and sharp canine teeth. She wears a form-fitting white bodysuit with flaring lace cuffs on the arms and legs resembling spider webs. The V cut in the front goes past her naval and reveals a circular hole going through her body where her naval should be.
"What is your command, My Lord?"
"Hunt. Hunt them down, Aranea."
"Yes, Lord Cassius."
