"So anyway, I was hoping you'd maybe accompany me," Spencer said over the phone. JJ and Will would be getting married at Rossi's over the weekend and he separately wanted Maeve to come as his date. They'd been talking since before Hotch and Emily had Ellie, so Spencer thought it was time for the team to meet the so-called "mystery woman." Plus, he had yet to meet Maeve in person due to her believing she had a stalker and therefore fearing for her life.

"Spencer, you know I would love to. It's just that, I'm still being watched. I can feel it. I can't risk it. I'm so sorry."

"Yeah, I get it. It's okay," Spencer assured her. He flopped down on the couch, running a hand through his hair which was beginning to grow longer. "I wish you would let me look into it."

"Spence. It's not worth it. It'll go away. And when it does, you and I are going to get a cute little house out in the country and have a whole bunch of baby geniuses. And we're going to get a dog."

Spencer couldn't help the smile that grew on his face. "A dog? You know dogs don't care for me much."

"I always wanted a golden retriever so you're just going to have to deal with it, Genius," Maeve said, her tone light and teasing.

Spencer opened his mouth to respond when the door opened behind him and Penelope walked into the house, carrying Olivia in her car seat and a dress zipped up in plastic. Her eyes widened as she took in Spencer on his phone. She gasped.

"Is that Mystery Girl? I wanna say hi!" She hurried as quickly as she could to the other side of the couch. She sat the car seat and the dress on the couch and reached for the phone.

A friendly battle ensued as Spencer tried to keep the phone away from her whilst still maintaining his conversation. He didn't mind Penelope talking to Maeve, the problem was that if Penelope got ahold of the phone, Spencer would never get it or his girlfriend back.

"I gotta go," Spencer said, hurriedly, clicking off his phone. He turned to face Penelope. "How'd dress shopping go?"

"Oh! It was wonderful! Wanna see it?" She didn't wait for an answer and immediately unzipped the plastic. She held the dress up to her body. It was navy blue with tulle cap sleeves. It was mid-length, falling loosely around her knees. "Whatcha think?"

"It's great," Spencer told her halfhearted. He didn't have much interest in dresses but he was trying to be a good friend.

"Right! I'm going to call Derek, so I can make sure he gets the right color of tie."

Olivia woke up then and began to cry. Penelope halted and started back towards her daughter.

Spencer shooed her away. "Go call Morgan, I'll watch Livvy." He reached over to the car seat and pulled Olivia out of her seat. "Hello, Miss Livvy," he greeted her. She quieted instantly. "Do you want to accompany Uncle Spencie to Aunt Jenny's wedding?"

Olivia's tiny lips transformed into an almost undetectable smile. Spencer took that as a yes.

Dave opened the door for the Hotchners when they arrived. Aaron was wearing a black suit jacket and pants, a white shirt, and a light blue tie. Jack, who always wanted to be Aaron's mini, matched his dad almost exactly except for switching out a tie for a bowtie. Emily wore an off-the-sleeve blue dress. Ellie was dressed in a puffy dress the same color as the rest of her family but hers was also decorated with different colored flowers and she had a rather large bow on her head. "Come on in."

"I'm going to go check on Jayje," Emily said as the stepped into the foyer. She meant to pass Ellie off to her husband, but Dave intercepted her, snatching the baby. "She's upstairs in the third bedroom," he told her. Then he addressed the others. "Jack, Henry is in the game room. Aaron, want a beer?"

They all went in separate directions, Jack running for the basement, Dave, Ellie, and Aaron going to the kitchen, and Emily heading up the marble staircase. It never ceased to amaze her how absolutely large Rossi's house was. It was three stories including the fully furnished basement. Upstairs there were five bedrooms and two bathrooms. Downstairs, there was a large living room, foyer, and kitchen with a separate dining space, plus two more bedrooms and bathrooms. And in the basement, there was a large room filled with more screens than were in Penelope's lair, a pool table, and every latest and greatest toy. It also had a half bath and a mini fridge stocked with snacks. And that was just on the inside. Outside, there was a three-car garage, an in-ground pool, a volleyball net, a fire pit, a hot tub, and a gazebo. And that didn't even take up the whole yard. The most absurd thing about all of it is that Dave refused to refer to his home as a mansion, despite it being larger than Emily's mother's home.

Emily knocked on the door to the third bedroom, and entered the room, joining both JJ and Penelope. Penelope was brushing out JJ's hair while JJ attempted to put makeup on.

"Let me do that," Emily offered, stepping forward and taking the mascara wand out of her hand. She began smoothly layering the makeup on her best friend's already beautiful eyelashes.

The three women chatted while they worked. Just after they helped JJ into her dress, there was a knock at the door. JJ's mom, Sandy walked into the room. The pair hugged.

"I didn't think you'd make it in time," JJ admitted.

"I wouldn't miss it. Your father wishes he was here but he wasn't able to get someone in to work for him," Sandy explained.

"It's alright. Hopefully, we can come visit after we get home from our honeymoon," JJ suggested.

Before long, it was time for the ceremony to begin. Emily and Penelope went outside to their respective families. Minutes later, JJ and Sandy were exiting the house and walking toward them down the large aisle.

JJ reached Will and joined hands with him at the center of the gazebo in front of Rossi.

Rossi smiled at both of them, then began reading the vows. "Alright, enough of that gibber jabber," he said when he was done. "William Lee LaMontagne Jr. do you take Jennifer Anne Jareau to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

Jennifer Anne Jareau do you take William Lee LaMontagne Jr. to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"Then by the power vested in me by the great state of Virginia, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
