Here we go boys and girls, back with another chapter and to continue on the streak! Long live the streak!

With all the excitement going on during the morning and being caught up in the duel between Bastion and Chazz after she caught sight of the now former Obelisk Blue tossing cards into the ocean, Alexis ended up running late for her meet up with Jasmine and Mindy at the academy gardens.

It was a beautiful park within the center of the academy building itself, framed by the same kind of glass you'd see in see through greenhouses so the sun could shine in. It was set up with lovely green grass, beautiful flowers, majestic oak trees, gorgeous ponds and more. And featured picnic benches, small sport fields and even computer terminals and screens that showed live footage of the academy duel arena's.

The blonde was in a rush as she made her way there and took a shortcut that cut across the card shop. But as she wound around a hallway corner, to her surprise she caught sight of Yarden leaving the shop himself.

Odd, he was never up this early during the weekends. Granted, she'd only known him for a few weeks, but she'd gotten a pretty good grasp on him in that time and knew how much he liked to laze around when he had the time off from classes.

'He probably just got woke up by someone making a ton of noise or something.' the blonde mused.

Alexis was about to greet the boy and ask him if he wanted to join her and meet up with Jasmine and Mindy, when he shot a look to the empty space beside him, "Now we just need to chase it down ourselves then," he said aloud, to no one, before his gaze turned worried, "Will you guys be able to take it okay?" the red wearing boy asked thin air.

Alexis gave him a confused look. 'Does he have a bluetooth microphone connected to a phone in his ear or something?' she wondered.

She looked him over as he nodded to something apparently only he could hear and then a grin spread across his face. But no, she couldn't see anything in his ears.

'Is he talking to himself?' she gawked. Like, he wasn't just saying something to himself or singing a song to himself something, he seemed to be outright having a conversation with thin air.

That wasn't like Yarden. He had plenty of character faults that he was not ashamed to admit to, but he wasn't delusional or anything like that. 'Does he have a fever maybe and he's hallucinating?' Alexis thought, worried.

That could also explain why he was up so early when usually he'd have practically burrowed into his bed at this time usually.

After a moment, the boy walked down the hall and Alexis hung back for a moment. She pulled out her PDA and sent a quick message to Jasmine and Mindy letting them know something had come up.

And then she slowly followed behind Yarden. She was going to see what he was up to and keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't actually have a fever or something.

Yarden left the academy behind and what he was doing, honestly just made Alexis more and more confused and more and more believe that he had to have a fever or something.

First, he made his way towards the Slifer Red dorm, and she thought he was going to go see Jaden. But then halfway there, he abruptly changed directions and walked back towards the Obelisk Blue dorm.

Only, when he got to near the dorm itself, he abruptly changed directions again and walked off into the forest.

At that point, Alexis was getting incredibly worried for his mental state.

Just when she was about to call out to him though, Yarden stopped in his tracks in the middle of a clearing.

"You sure are a hard guy to pin down." he suddenly spoke up, his eyes on a large tree in front of him.

There was silence for a moment, before what sounded like a breathing apparatus crackled, "You should be more careful who you follow boy," a double toned voice clouded by the breathing apparatus sound shot back and a person walked out from behind the tree. A very tall man, easily as tall as the man that had assaulted her at the Abandoned Dorm walked out, clad from head to toe in a large trench coat that hid his body and a thick brown fedora hat that hung low and hid his face, "You never know just what kind of fearsome people you will annoy."

..Wait, what was going on here? Alexis quickly ducked behind one of the trees and held her breath.

Yarden snorted, crossing his arms, "Yeah see, that would be intimidating," he nodded, before smirking, "If you were, well, intimidating. Two out of ten, save that shit for the tourists baldy."

The breathing apparatus sound appeared again, sucking in a deep crackling breath, "Boy, you will rue the day you dared to mouth off so arrogantly to I the great Ji-"

Alexis peaked around the tree and went wide eyed as the man was caught off suddenly as he suddenly got sent flying across the clearing to slam into a tree so hard it snapped! The tree fell to the ground backwards and slammed into it hard enough to make the ground tremor lightly beneath her feet.

And her eyes went even wider when the coat and hat he was wearing fell off as he just simply stood back up, a crackling snarl leaving him. He really was a very tall man, dressed in what looked like a cyber punk green and metallic lab coat, with a pure bald head and red goggles hiding his eyes.

He looked exactly like the duel monster card, Jinzo!

But not only that. He looked, almost see through! As if he wasn't all there. Like a poorly done hologram.

'What is going on here?!' Alexis gaped in shock.

"You think to challenge me, you fool!" The Jinz lookalike snarled, yet he wasn't looking at Yarden, he was looking to the side he was blasted away from.

Suddenly, he lifted his arm and Alexis felt like her eyes were about to pop out of their sockets when she bore witness to some kind of crackling spherical barrier appear around him.

A thunderous impact shook the clearing and the front of the barrier rippled. And then it rippled again with what looked like an indent of a fist coming from another side.

"What, another one!?" Jinzo cried in shock, face turning to the fist indent in the barrier. Only for the barrier to shatter like glass a second later and a horrifying scream left the bald mans throat and Alexis watched on in horror as the skin of the hologram like man's face began to crack and peel as dark burns made themselves known.

A roar of fury left the bald mans throat and suddenly he threw both arms out, a barrier of energy appearing around him once again, before flaring outwards in all directions, growing larger and larger until it was the size of a house and Alexis bore witness once more to the scene of all the trees in his immediate vicinity just outright being torn asunder and exploding into tiny wooden chips as the barrier of energy got bigger and bigger.

Yarden didn't even move though as it approached him. Alexis' voice caught in her throat when she tried to yell at him to move!

The reason why that was.

Was because of a girl suddenly appearing in front of Yarden. A tiny little slip of a girl with orange hair and a ragged blue dress. She lifted her arms and white light glowed within her palms, before a second barrier appeared, this one much smaller but wrapping around the girl and Yarden.

When Jinzo's flaring barrier touch it, it was rebuffed backwards and broke apart.

"How many spirits do you have boy!?" Jinzo shouted angrily as his barrier broke apart. But he was not idle, as soon as it did, he thrust a hand out, a large sphere of crackling dark energy appearing in his hand that he shot to the side.

It shot through the air so fast Alexis could barely keep track of it, only to suddenly veer off course and shoot up into the air and disappear into the sky.

'Spirits, as in duel spirits?' Alexis' thoughts raced. Weren't they just a legend.

But...

The voluptuous blonde's mind went back to a certain card. The way she thought it had winked at her. The cryptic words Yarden spoke to her. That light that appeared when Titan was attacking her.

...Could this all be real?

"A lot," Yarden laughed and then clicked his fingers and to Alexis' further astonishment, golden light rippled at his side and suddenly, two more beings appeared beside him. One a towering bipedal green and brown lizard, while the other was a squatter one, coming up to Yarden's shoulders with a very muscular looking build with small wings and orange scales, "I would have invited you to become a spirit of mine as well, or left you alone if you knocked me back, that is, if you weren't a cunt trying to eat the souls of students here."

Lesser Dragon and Baby Dragon! And that girl! Wasn't she Unhappy Maiden!?

Jinzo's arms flared out, energy wrapped around them and the clearing shook with two massive impacts. The energy around Jinzo's arms rippled, but the bald duel monster held strong, eyes going to Yarden, "Those fools were the ones that summoned me!" the bald monster snarled, "I am merely taking the price I demanded! It is not my fault that they were too foolish to understand the price I wanted!"

Uncaring of his words, Lesser Dragon tore across the clearing at a rapid speed while Baby Dragon flew behind him, both intending to attack Jinzo.

"Begone whelps!" Jinzo shouted, a pair of crackling red beams of energy shooting out of his eyes towards the pair of attacking monsters.

"Ra!" Baby Dragon gave a very human shout and spat out plume of fire! It slammed into the pair of beams and somehow held them back for a moment, before they managed to tear through them and leave them as nothing but glittering orange embers.

But it was enough. Baby Dragon juked to the side and avoided the beams, and the brief stalemate allowed Lesser Dragon to get in claws, swiping one heavy clawed arm through the air and raking it across Jinzo's chest.

The bald monster screamed in pain as his metallic lab coat was torn and Alexis smelt the metallic tang of blood in the air somehow, even though no blood appeared, merely a trail of what looked like dark red energy seeping out of Jinzo's chest.

Lesser Dragon gave a roar and tried to swipe at Jinzo again, only for the machine monsters leg to come up in a kick that caught the dragon monster in the chin and punted it high up into the air.

At that moment though, something seemed to smash into Jinzo's back and the monster was slammed face first into the ground hard, just as Lesser Dragon's back slammed into the ground in front of Yarden.

Alexis could see that Jinzo's metallic coat had its back torn away and more of that same energy was seeping out of its back up into the air.

"No...!" Jinzo snarled even as his legs and arms snapped together as if bound and a pink outline shone around his body, "So close! I was so close! If only I could have become Jinzo Lord, you fools would have stood no chance against me!"

"Sucks to suck mate," Yarden snorted from where he stood behind Unhappy Maiden, "This didn't have to happen you know, if you just let those guys go, I wouldn't have to do this and get rid of you."

"Shut your mouth you trash human! How dare you lecture me! I am ancient, beyond your understanding!" Jinzo spat, struggling to glare up at him, "I lived before you were even a twinkle in your great grandfathers eye! Do not think yourself powerful just because these pathetic spirits have bowed to you! You are nothing boy! NOOOOOOOOOOTHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNN-"

Jinzo's roar shook the clearing and made Alexis' ears ring, only to be cut off. Jinzo's voice turned into a gurgle and a mass of that light suddenly started pouring from his back. And then a moment later, Jinzo's entire body glowed the same color, before bursting apart like a water balloon and becoming that same red energy that flaked through the air like the embers of Baby Dragon's flame before it.

Alexis swallowed heavily and on instinct began to tiptoe away. She needed to get out of here. She needed to think this through.

She quickly left Yarden and the clearing behind and power walked in a rush back towards her dorm. She fished Hoshiningen's card from her deck box and eyed it intently as she went.

"..Are you really a duel spirit?" she wondered.

Her mind wandered to her brother and the Abandoned Dorm. And more specifically, the mystery behind it.

This all was beginning to make a twisted bit of sense to her after what she just witnessed.

It never made sense to her. How could a whole dorm of students, especially containing her strong older brother, just disappear over night? Unless some kind of highly trained team of soldiers were the one behind it, then it wouldn't be possible at all. And just why would people like that be behind it in the first place.

But that Jinzo. Hadn't Yarden accused it of stealing or trying to steal the souls of students here on the island and that was why he had tracked it down?

What if...

Just what if, a duel spirit of some kind, a very powerful one was behind the disappearances at the Abandoned Dorm.

'What if something like that Jinzo has stolen my brothers soul!?' Alexis thought in horror.

'Looks like she's gone.' Yarden's gaze was over his shoulder, at the tree he knew Alexis had been hiding behind and keeping an eye on things.

It was a stroke of luck she'd come across him when he was going to hunt down Jinzo. It meant he wouldn't have to explain duel spirits or anything like that to her, he could just let her get a look at what was going on and come to her own conclusions.

Then he could just fill in the blanks when she eventually came to ask him about it all. It would save him all the effort of trying to convince her about them himself.

"That guy was tough!" Baby Dragon laughed, drawing his attention back to the situation at hand.

He really was, Yarden had to agree. His eyes took in all of his spirits out and about in this clearing that had taken part in the fight. Dark Magician Girl, Hyozanryu, Serpent Night Dragon, Relinquished, Lesser Dragon, Baby Dragon and Unhappy Maiden.

And even after being taken off guard initially, Jinzo had held his monsters off amazingly.

"So, how do we do this?" Yarden asked, his eyes going to the voluptuous blonde haired spirit who was directing the mass of energy left behind by Jinzo into the air above her. It had formed into a huge glowing and crackling red ball easily a good twenty feet in height and width.

"Oh it's simple master, just have the spirits you want to get stronger absorb the energy." Dark Magician Girl helpfully informed.

Alright, seemed simple enough. And he'd already decided on the spirits he wanted to absorb the energy left behind by Jinzo. He'd discussed it with his monsters earlier, and he'd been recommended to give it to three of his weaker dragon spirits, that were already bonded with him. With them already bonded to him, the power of their evolution would apparently flow into him as well and make it easier on his soul.

Two of them were already out, so he reached within him and summoned Petit Dragon.

"Can't you be a bit gentler when summoning me out? You don't need to just yoink me you know," the little dragon rolled his eyes, "You're really much too gung ho."

Yarden rolled his own eyes in amusement, but didn't bother replying. He instead gestured to the large spherical ball of energy, "Alright you three, just like we discussed, munch it up."

Lesser Dragon nodded, giving a grunt of understanding. While Baby Dragon cheered, "Gotcha boss!" the muscular orange dragon replied. All three of them lined up together and waited.

"Here you go boys!" Dark Magician Girl giggled and swiped her scepter up at the energy. The sphere of energy split in half and floated through the air towards the trio of dragons.

Immediately, it split again into three parts and flowed into the three dragon's bodies. Moments later, Petit Dragon erupted into red light, followed by Baby Dragon a second later. Yarden watched in awe, it was like watching pokemon evolve!

Their body types didn't change, but they grew massively. Petit Dragon went from not even the length of his arm, to as long as he was tall, while Baby Dragon practically doubled in size.

As they reached the apex of their growth, two streams of light shot out towards Yarden, forming into small rectangles in his shape of cards.

He looked down at his hands as the cards stopped glowing, just at the same time the pair of dragons did.

'Ranryu and Hundred Dragon?' Yarden noted the new names on the cards and the fact that both had orange cards. They'd become effect monsters.

Before reading the cards, his eyes went to the forms of his newly evolved dragons. All things considered, they hadn't changed all that much in appearance. Baby Dragon, now Hundred Dragon looked a lot like Thousand Dragon, only much younger, and basically, in the prime of his life. While Ranryu looked very much the same as before, except, instead of the cuteness he had before, his features were sharper, less cute and much more fearsome, his wings much larger.

"Oooh I feel great! I can't wait to fight like this!" Hundred Dragon cheered excitedly.

Ranryu idly examined himself, "Hmm, I do like this," the first spirit Yarden bonded with grinned lightly, "This is quite the upgrade indeed. I'll be much more useful like this too."

Yarden's eyes strayed back down to the cards in his hand.

Hundred Dragon - Dragon/Wind/Level 4/Effect: 1600/1000

'Once per turn: You can have this card gain Levels equal to the number of cards you control, and if you do, it gains 100 ATK for each Level gained. These changes last until the end of this turn. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 face-up monster you control that was Special Summoned, the first time that face-up monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, it is not destroyed. When this card enters the graveyard, you can Special Summon one Baby Dragon from your deck.'

Well now, that was a very nice upgrade. Hundred Dragon could reach up to twenty four hundred attack points if he controlled eight cards on the field. And on being destroyed, he could give any of his other special summoned monsters basically what amounted to invulnerability for the rest of the turn and bring out a Baby Dragon from his deck to help defend him.

And Ranryu was just as good.

Ranryu - Dragon/Wind/Level 4/Union/Effect: 1500/200

'You can only control 1 "Ranryu". If you control a Spellcaster or Dragon monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the GY: You can special summon one Petit Dragon from your deck. If this card is in your GY, you can banish one Petit Dragon from your GY, then Special Summon this card. While this card is on the field, you can equip it to one Spellcaster or Dragon monster, that monster gains five hundred Atk points. If it would be destroyed by battle or card effect, this card will be destroyed in its place.'

Ranryu outright became a Union monster! He could buff other monsters and protect them from destruction at the cost of himself more or less once and could be special summoned easily as long as he had a spellcaster or dragon on the field. And even like Baby Dragon brought out protection in Petit Dragon if he was destroyed and could then float back to the field if Petit Dragon ended up in the graveyard as well.

Not incredibly powerful monsters. But their effects were amazing!

Just as he finished reading the cards, he was forced to look up when Lesser Dragon erupted into light like the other two before him. Yarden watched once more in awe as Lesser Dragon grew much larger in size, until he like Hundred Dragon practically doubled in size. But then, unlike the other two, he hunched over, going from bipedal to quadruped.

A moment later, as the light began to die down from around him, a stream of it shot towards Yarden's hand and a third card took up residence in his hand. He chuckled as the card was revealed. This time, it was a monster he actually knew!

Rare Metal Dragon - Dragon/Dark/Level 4/Effect: 2400/1200

Lesser Dragon's new form was that of a large four legged dragon covered in sharp, spiky metallic scales, a large golden horn jutting from his snout.

It kind of made sense too since Lesser Dragon formed Metal Dragon by fusing with Steel Ogre Grotto, a pretty weak machine monster. Gaining the power of a much stronger machine monster, would of course make it become an even stronger metallic dragon!

Rare Metal Dragon let loose a rumbling growl as he admired his new form. He seemed very pleased with it.

And Yarden was too. Sure, Rare Metal Dragon couldn't be normal summoned or set and needed to be special summoned. But he was a twenty four hundred attack point beat stick that could be easily summoned by the effect of King Dragun or from the grave. And as a level four, he could be used with Cyber Dark Edge, Keel and Horn.

For a moment, Yarden had a panicky thought. That, thee cards wouldn't be legal and wouldn't register on the duel disk. But he calmed down just as quickly as the thought appeared. If Banner could make an all new card, or the Sacred Beasts make ones that were legal, then there was no reason why these ones shouldn't work and be legal as well.

A thought occurred to him though. "Wait, how did he become a monster with attack points as high as Jinzo's when he only like took a sixth of Jinzo's full energy?" Yarden wondered.

"Silly master," Dark Magician Girl giggled, "The power of a spirit isn't fully reflected in their cards. Besides, Jinzo is much easier to summon and his effect as a card is incredibly powerful, while Rare Metal Dragon's effect is more a penalty than a benefit."

Well, she had him there.

He nodded in understanding, "Got it," he replied before pointing at the remaining half of the energy sphere floating above her, "What about that though? Why'd you only use half of it?" if they got the full thing, wouldn't they have become even more powerful?

"Oh this?" she sent him a coy look, "Well, since Master is all about getting stronger. I thought I'd use half of Jinzo's power and infuse master with it directly. With this, I can enhance your own natural Ba and make it stronger before it ever takes form."

Oh yeah, he'd actually forgotten. People actually all had a natural Ba that could be born from their soul. That was where all the spirits born in the human world actually came from initially.

But wait.

"Isn't the whole point of me not bonding to you and Serpent Night Dragon and the like because I'm not strong enough for it?" Yarden raised an eyebrow at her, "Won't my soul go splat or something if you put that in me?"

"Well, I don't think it would be that bad, and that's from full out having you bond with it to get stronger," Dark Magician Girl shrugged, "This is different master, though kinda hard to explain. You won't have any access to this power for a while, it'll be kinda locked away until your natural Ba fully forms and only then will you get access to it. Think of it like its sealed off from you until your Ba forms, if you can understand."

He still didn't really get it. Wouldn't it still actually be latched onto his soul? The whole point of all this slow going bonding was the fact that his soul could only contain so much power before it grew stronger.

But, she was the expert in all this and he'd trust her.

Besides, the thought of him forming his own Ba and it being like Red-Eyes Black Dragon or something was far too appealing a thought not to want to power it up before it took form!

"Alright, I'll take your word for it," Yarden grinned and spread his arms wide open and welcoming, "Juice me up baby!"

Dark Magician Girl giggled happily in amusement at his actions. She rose her scepter into the air. Unlike before though, a pink outline of her own power surrounded the energy left behind by Jinzo and a moment later it sunk into him.

And Yarden felt absolutely nothing. Weird. He could feel the strength and energy in the link between him, Rare Metal Dragon, Ranryu and Hundred Dragon, their power had increased exponentially, and he could feel as his soul strained with it.

But from the other half of energy left behind by Jinzo? Bupkis. Absolutely nothing.

...Weird.

'Well, whatever.' Yarden shrugged and put it out of mind. Instead, he let his excitement from everything that had happened so far today catch up to him and he pumped his fist into the air, "Let's fucking go!" he cheered joyfully and summoned all of his spirits that were bonded to his soul and called out the ones not yet bonded to him from their cards.

"Let's party!" he whooped. "Get the booze!"

Do do, do do do, do do do do, do do!

And the chapter is done with, yaaay me.

Right, let's get down to the brass tacks before people start 'reee'ing about wrong card effects. First up, the Cyber Dark Dragons. In the anime, their non fused forms can use up to level 4's from the graveyard.

Now, Hundred Dragon and Ranryu. They do not have their normal effects here. They've been getting boosted from their bond with Yarden through the bonding passively, like I said before, it's a symbiotic kinda thing. On top of that, they just got a big dumping of power from an ancient and powerful Jinzo spirit. So they evolved and got way stronger. Instinct helped fashion their new forms into ones with special powers that would help Yarden, because they want to be useful to him. As such, they gained effects that would suit Yarden's play style in a duel.

Now onto the other big thing of this chapter. Well, beyond Alexis following Yarden. A natural Ba. Yes I call it Ba instead of Ka. What's that, I got it mixed up? I don't give a shit. I had it as Ka originally, but then someone kept fucking bothering me and throwing links at me about how it was the other way around and I ended up switching around to just get him to shut up and buzz off.

Anyway, everyone in the Yugioh-verse with duelist energy, Ener-D, Moment, whatever you want to call it and such can form a natural monster spirit. Usually they're formed from their good or bad emotions and such and grow stronger from them. Why's that? Well apparently duel monsters, Zorc, the Great Leviathan and all that crap are all given birth through the energy of human thought and emotion. Crazy shit. I've already pretty much decided on one, it may be subject to change though. I won't be revealing it here though.

Anyway, that's us for today, I think. I feel like I'm forgetting something but fuck it. Via la streak!
