Note: God damn it! Just as I thought I was finished with all the XY content Nintendo comes in with a Bombshell announcement of Pokémon Legends: Z-A! Which seemed to be in a modern or future setting as well! And since I'm so engrained at this point I'm actually excited for a game I will never even play. Well, it should be fine, the next story I speculate to be double the length of this one(as in chapter count not word count….hopefully, chapter length depends on how long the first chapter is as a benchmark(soft)) I'll probably be able to adapt some of the stuff from the new game as I'm writing if applicable of course.
Week 1
The Hunter's dilemma: Monster association, Garou
Garou woke up with a start, and his body wished it hadn't. He was absolutely beyond famished, and the first thing he did when waking up was completely devour the food that was presented a couple of seats away from him. He didn't care what it was; it looked like meat of some kind, which was good enough for him after that. He took a look around his environment. He was in a dark cell of some kind and in what appeared to be an abandoned, or at least not well-kept, prison. He tried to remember what had transpired before his current stay. He was in Bang's custody, and the teens had come in, but something happened there. There was the sound of fighting outside. A teen was with him, followed by a monster. A bird monster from the association arrived, and he was pawned off. Given that the monster was able to reach him, did that mean that Bang, Bomb, and Deku were?
Garou quickly shook his head from those thoughts not that it mattered to him what happened to those losers, he did a quick scan of his cell and found a letter that was on the floor likely knocked over after his ravenous consumption of the food presented before him he picked it up and read it and it confirmed his suspicions that he indeed was captured by the monster association, what an annoying group he though as he kicked his way out of his cell and proceeded outside, as the door clattered to the ground he haer movement int he hallway a handful of monster approached him, they told him to wait in his cell until gyoror-gyoro summoned him of course Garou wasn't going to listen to them as he moved forwards but they wanted to attempt force him to comply and Garou held no calms with killing the bold ones then and their the other smartly backed down but he asked one of them where this suppose gryoro-gyroro was, while he didn't have any beef with the monster in question whoever it was seemed to be some sort of leader figure among these monsters so he would tell it to his face to leave him alone and that he didn't want any part in the monster association.
The monster showed him the way towards the main gathering area before running away. Garou loved the sight of being able to cause fear in even the monsters themselves. He peeked his head around the corner of the opening as he heard the roaring of a loud crowd of monsters on the other side. He was surprised by the number of monsters present in the colosseum-like environment, but he was more surprised to find other humans down below in the center, where all of their attention was focused. Their group in the center was about seven people, each of two girls and five guys. They had remarked that they were mercenaries for hire, not heroes, so the monster should let them go, but what he assumed was that Gyoro-Gyroro wasn't going to just let them leave after they had so brazenly entered their home and killed two of their soldiers. Any other thoughts were sidetracked as Garou heard a voice telling him to stay put in his head.
He thought, and despite himself, he decided to heed the warning as the monster began to get even more riled up in the discussion on what they should do with them. Of course, most of their suggestions were killing them, eating them, or some form of torture. It got Garou wondering what he decided to do with them. He thought about those loud-mouthed words and what type of monster he wanted to be, and looking at their suggestions, he didn't want to be any of them. If he had his choice, he would send them back damaged beyond repair as a warning not to trifle with them again. They spoke about being there to save a hostage, maybe sending a limb of the said hostage with them to show that they weren't playing around. But maybe that was just him being edgy; he would just beat them up and send them back on their way, most likely.
Some monsters were more impatient than others jumping from the stands directly at the group, they were petrified on the spot just waiting for their death, and for some reason, Garou had an urge to move to protect them but he squashed that down and it wasn't like he needed to anyways as another monster had came out of nowhere and sliced them apart before drawing its on a claim to the mercenaries even etching its swords into one of the men's faces and upon further inspection Garou recognized this monster it was in that hero guide royal ripper he assumed at least, he was the stuff of legend and myth he could feel it's bloodlust from here but its actions were tempered by the two robots next to it.
The two of them both named Gwind and Gfire were the ones to capture the criminals in question and they spoke in favor of their combat suits and the strength they possesses however they were directly fit for the individuals so they would be useless without the occupants alive so they instead offered to use them as pawns and to do that they use another famous monster myth being none other than, DO-S the dominatrix lived up to her name as she cracked her whip hitting each and everyone of the members before they started screaming in pain before changing strangely enough into a more docile state not before suddenly bulking out and breaking their upper white armored sections leaving them all in dark black body armor only.
It seemed Royal Ripper's attitude was soured by the events as he felt the bloodlust of the monster increase. Even more, Garou was surprised when that same bloodlust was directed at him and the monster gestured for him to come out, and he did so, stepping out into the Colosseum. He was again surprised by the number of monsters, not to mention the large unit of a thing that was sitting right behind the supposed leader. Was it that strong to command this level of respect from them? Could he become a monster as great as that? Did he want to? He would save those questions for later, as the leader addressed him.
Quieting down the riff-raff that surrounded them and spoke about him, he mostly ignored them, though they didn't matter to him, keeping his eyes focused on the large green thing in the center, who seemed to be the king of all this.
"What do you want with me?" Garou asked, annoyed.
"As you may be fully aware, we are the monster association. We have 500 members, a similar number to that of the hero association, but after the fighting has commenced, we have less than 30 members with threat levels of disaster-level demons and two less-rated dragons. We have put in a lot of effort to recruit you, but you are worth it. I want you to join us; you will be offered the rank of cadre." gyoro-gyroro remarked
"You're making him a cadre immediately? You seem to be playing favorites." A small black monster told him
"For good reason, the potential he contains is extraordinarily easily eclipsed by that of Goketsu himself, and it is abundantly clear from his actions that he hates the hero cult that humanity has cultivated and wants to tear it down. There is only one small problem: we are still undecided if you are truly a monster. So our boss Orochi has one condition before you're allowed to join." Gyoro-Gyoro stated, and Garou was surprised at that. So this orochi was the boss, which he assumed was the large creature behind him. So why did he allow this other one to take the lead when speaking?
"Do you want me to grow horns or something?" Garou quipped, but the booming voice of the large creature silenced him.
"One day. Bring me the head of a hero; it doesn't matter who," the large monster said.
"If you can kill a hero without hesitation, then that proves you're a full-fledged monster." Another monster showed up, marching from the shadows; this one was an insectoid of some kind with dark brown chitin.
"Is Bang still alive?" Garou asked simply.
"Unfortunately, the unexpected reinforcements of the non-killing army members were uncalled for, for we lost elder centipede, and this marked the second time a cadre of that caliber had fallen when their number appeared. Do you believe any of them could have been responsible, or are Bang and his brother that strong?" Gyoro-Gyoro asked him, and Garou knocked his head to one side in thought before shrugging his shoulders.
"Hell, if I know, I haven't fought the old bastard fresh in a while or seen what that big bug was really about, but it couldn't even get rid of that dolt metal bat, and even if it accomplished that, I wouldn't put it past him to be beaten," Garou remarked simply.
"I see. Well, you are free to go. One day, 24 hours after you leave, all you reach is the surface. Make the time count and return with the corpse, or your invite is forfeit." Gyoror-Gyoro said before directing him away. Garou sucked his teeth, but followed along, being escorted out and away. When he was finally out of earshot, Gyoro-Gyoro summoned both the royal ripper and bug god to attention and told them to follow after the hunter to ensure that he didn't get cold feet or attempt to go to the heroes for help.
Now that Garou was free, the first thing he wanted to do was go get something to eat and return to his hideout. He didn't know how popular or unpopular he was now given the recent monster association news, but his body felt incredibly stiff all over, like he hadn't been moving in days, and when he finally found a calendar, he was two weeks past being unconscious. Was he that beat up, or was it that device that the monster placed on him? He felt his neck and other than the imprint of something being there, nothing was there now.
Well now that he was free might as well take on the state of affairs as he made his way down to S-city he was surprised when he saw people in the middle of the street protesting for humanity to just give up and surrender to the monster even suggesting to give them sacrifices to appease them for the time being so that they would slow down idiot didn't understand monsters he thought as someone voiced their displeasure at the protestors just to be targeted Garou just "happened" to get in the way to the scuffle and completely stopped them dead with a flick to the nose knocking them into the other behind him as he passed by, making the remaining protestors loos their nerves and quickly disperse, he caught some of the signs and what they said and even suggesting that non-killing army was apart of them he would hate to see what they thought about that matter before continuing.
The city has seemed to be undergoing a renaissance of crime brought on by the dread of the monster association as robbers and petty thefts attempted to just go in because of the hopelessness of the situation of course this is what happened when you have ass things Garou thought as he travels approaching a fancy diner and threatening some punk to get out of his way. The wannabe thug quickly left after that, and Garou made his way inside, ordering everything on the menu before peacing out, slipping through the guards as they yelled out for someone to stop him.
Unbeknownst to him, Saitama had also been in the restaurant at the time, and while he was just eating simply enough and he was greeted by Fubuki, he wasn't interested in what she was talking about, which was finding Garou's joy in finding the martial artist plummeted as he found out he wasn't going to be the challenge he was looking for, and besides, he informed the girl that Garou was already captured by Bang and his brother, surprising her for a moment and curing her lack of connections. She held a one-sided conversation with the bald hero that tuned her out for the most part, mostly nodding his head here in there to act like he was paying attention until he heard the call of a dine and dasher and used that as an excuse to excuse himself and chase after said person, although as he went, he mentally bombed himself for not paying for his food and left it to Fubuki, dreading what the girl would make him do to repay the favor, which he wholeheartedly believed wouldn't just be giving her back the money.
Garou had quickly left, finding a route that he could take to reach his hideout. While traveling, he continued to think about what type of monster he wanted to become. It became clear that the monster of the association wasn't the fear he wanted to spread; he wanted to be a fear that was ever present, even when they weren't around someone to plunge the world into despair. But wouldn't that just be a boring world? Garou's thoughts were jumbled, so he elected to forget about them as he continued his walk.
He continued as dawn started to set in and was mildly surprised to find that he had run into that ugly boy from before in the park. He seemed to be "playing" with some of his other friends, but after watching for a moment and overhearing the other kids calling him a monster and throwing a rock at him, it struck a nerve in him, and his body moved on its own as he slid down the slope and yelled at them to get lost, making them scream and run away from the ugly boy. Hearing his thoughts, Garou may need to learn the kid's name; just calling him an ugly kid was just a step above calling him an ugly monster, which was what those other kids were doing.
Now that those others were gone, he looked down on the kid and was reminded of something as he held a hero guide in his hands and remarked that he guessed that the purple grape gave it to him, which the kid nodded at and thanked Garou for his gift and that he was a "nice uncle.'' Garou scoffed at that remark, stating that he was 18 years old and was too young to be an uncle. The boy countered that technically his age had nothing to do with it, just making Garou growl with more anger and telling him to get lost as it was getting dark soon.
Just as he was going to keep moving, someone calling after him halted his motion. He stopped still and turned, as it was evident that the person was a hero—a bald man in a ridiculous yellow costume with red boots and a white cape. The kid looked into the hero guide and recognized him as the upcoming B-class hero Caped Baldy, and Garou nearly broke out with laughter at such a dumb name. It seemed the man had no idea who he was as he approached to apprehend him, even after telling the man of his being the famous hero hunter. Instead of showing fear or anything like that, he instead looked at him closer and told him that he was lying. And he thought he remembered Garou having silver hair instead of the reddish hair he had now.
Garou peeked at his hair for a moment but soon found a sudden bloodlust near him. It was the man he had whispered to that he was going to just drag him back, but since he made fun of him, he wouldn't be getting off so easily. Garou, while surprised, was angered by being looked down upon and quickly struck out with full force. It was unintended, of course, that hitting a B-class that hard would kill him instantly, but maybe it was his body telling him that he was ready and it was time; he would be following the monster association orders, but more than that, it was to confirm to himself his determination to become a monster. But as the strike landed, instead of ripping through the man as he thought it would, his hand sprung out in pain. The next thing he felt was a wave of pain that spiraled up from his chin into his head, and then the next thing he knew, everything went dark.
Garaou woke up with a wicked pain in his jaw. He rubbed as he felt the blood pool down his throat. The kid was still there, and he explained that he had lied to the hero on his behalf, giving him a sob story of how his "uncle" he were scraping around for food and had to do what they needed to survive, and the hero took pity on them and said he would let them off with a warning also on the account for hitting him so hard. Garou was still flabbergasted by that. He ripped the guide from the boy, scanned the section of the hero he just encountered, and read over his file. What the hell?
He seemed like an ordinary person all things considered he definitely shouldn't have been able to hit him so hard it wasn't until he read his actual name which was saitama that things started to connect he heard that name before but his head was hurting too much to concentrate not that it mattered as another voice rang out, this one being somewhat familiar to him as he looked over and saw royal ripper standing there watching him, the kid started to freak out due to meeting the myth of a monster in real life, Garou knew where this was headed going by what the monster was saying and appearing behind the creature was the other monster from the base the insectoid he didn't catch its name but he guessed they were their for the same reason.
He wanted to take the fight elsewhere, especially when the boy yelled out that the royal ripper had a pension for kidnapping kids, and here he thought the monster was sort of cool too. Well, they did say, Never meet your idols after all. The monsters talked a load of nonsense, as he expected, about him failing the Gyoro-Gyoro test, failing to defeat even some unknown and random hero, and that the only way he could salvage his reputation now was to kill the child; it would represent him fully committing to throwing away his humanity as a monster has done so. Garou turned to the kid, and the kid had snot and tears streaming from his face as he shook his head rapidly, begging him not to do it.
Garou didn't care about that, as he asked for the kid's name instead, and despite his shock through whimpering sobs, he finally got out that it was Tareo. After learning that, he told the kid to run away, which surprised him as his sobbing finally stopped. He stared dumbfoundedly at him instead, so he instead put more force into it, telling him to get up and run away in a harsh tone. But while the boy stood, his shivering legs refused to move. Garou felt the killing intent at his back as a sword entered his peripheral vision, not aimed at him but at the child directly.
As he grabbed the blade, he lifted and took the monster off his feet and added more force with a kick to the sternum, sending the monster up and over him. The monster caught itself by stabbing its two blades into the ground and twisting its own arms to stop the rest of the momentum, breaking its arms in the process, making it spangly and twisted, which it simply undid by twisting it back around when he had his foot properly planted. Garou told the kid to run again, and this time he finally listened, running away from the ensuing battle. As both the insectoid and the royal ripper rushed him,
Gyoro-Gyoro room
Gyoro-Gyoro was patiently waiting in his room to relax when he was suddenly disturbed by Phoenix Man. The bird monster questioned his methods about sending out two of the more bloodthirsty monsters to watch over Garou instead of himself, and after doubling down on his questioning and seeing through his bluff of an original answer, he gave the creature the actual reasoning. The actual reasoning was to groom Garou; he fully expected both royal ripper and bug god to attack the hunter, and at his current level he wouldn't be able to beat the duo, but that was the key; he needed the hunter to grow by experiencing death or coming very close to it. He explained that this was how he created Orochi himself; through many trials and errors and many sacrifices, he was able to create Orochi, and he sees that same talent in Garou, but there was always the chance he could be wrong, so if the hunter simply died from the injuries he suffered from the two, then he was a worthwhile distraction regardless.
Garou rushed into combat against the two monsters, launching out with a hard strike against the insectoid chest, but that only seemed to end up hurting himself as he recoiled, and his knuckles even began to bleed as he retracted them. the second monster struck out against him slashing at him with his two arm blades, but Garou was too fast avoiding and parrying every strike out of harm's way his body was acclimating still so he received a slice across his arm, but he didn't let that stop him as he heard the crunching of the other monster coming up behind him so he diverted both of the creature rapid blades to it instead but his smug grin only turn to confusion as again the insectoids chitinous armor was completely unscathed he raised both of his hands in time to block the massive strike coming down on him.
He avoided a couple more sword swipes from the ripper but was unable to avoid the hard hit that the insectoid had the force of which flung him clear into the air only being stopped by power lines, as it touched his body he felt it surge with brief stints of electricity frying him even more but he ignored the feeling as he used the cables to launch back at the two of them. The flying kick, combined with the momentum, was able to strike the insect with enough force to push him back. However, he parried the blade ripper's attack while in mid-air before lashing out with a punch to the gut, followed by another snap kick to the side of the head and a duel punch to the stomach, sending it flying backward, unlike the insect, which lost its balance and fell to a knee. The blade-wielding psycho was still on its feet, but its blades were now in a more defensive stance. But he's learned their moves are nothing compared to Bang or Bomb; they wouldn't be hitting him again. Their bravado about holding back was just that as he spit a tooth out that had dislodged in his mouth, smirking as a small crater formed from the impact.
Before the fighting could begin again, however, a cry from behind came in it was Tareo's voice still calling him uncle he quickly turned around to find that the boy had been captured by the same monster from back then during his fight with Metal Bat, that jelly monster from before he briefly heard one of the monsters behind him call his name to be Sludge Jellyfish, he was about to call out that he had nothing to do with this but suddenly his lights and judging by the sound of the other monsters their lights went out as well which meant someone else was there a certain someone, but with his vision shut he could fully pay attention to his senses and he felt the overwhelming bloodlust at his back and his body instinctively turned around parrying the blade but the attack was fast as it cut down through his leg instead of along his stomach he winced and set a foot back.
Their vision slowly returned as the sludge monster was knocked to the ground and the child was nowhere in sight but he would like to believe that miss invisible had him and hopped for the best now all that needed taking care of was these three pissants, but his leg was bleeding profusely now the cut was deep it would mess up his footwork not to mention the jellyfish behind him with its tentacles it could cause problems and as the fight continued it surely did so. A single step off-balanced resulted in another slash across the ground. The squid played its part well, not directly interfering but just assisting at random times, and the big bug guy would ensure its protection as he would take Garou's strikes intended for it. He continued his attacks, but he started to fall, punch by hard punch, slice by slice, as the blood he lost continued to get to him. The more and more he fell, slashed by a royal ripper multiple times across the chest, and fell as the night began to fall around them.
Ojiro and Toru along with Bang and Bomb rushed towards the meeting spot where the two had said they found Garou, the two had happened to be on patrol in S-city in the meanwhile when they heard the commotion, they had seen some of the fight happening and this time were adamant in not participating if even Garou was struggling against these creatures then they would just being a hindrance in stopping him but that didn't stop them from wanting to assist in other ways, they had activated the beacon and hopefully Bang and Bomb would eventually come and settle this but when the child was brought into the situation the two of them had the decision to make and despite their fear, they executed their plan.
Toru and Ojiro made their way as close as possible using Toru ghost bubble before she lashed out with her light redaction it was at that moment where Ojiro sped forwards and struck the slime monster holding the kid and yanked him away before the two of them made on for a full retreat away from the dangerous situation as the two didn't stop running until they were sure that they were out of ear shot and despite the dangerou situation was in the boy was only worried about his "uncle" instead of himself and wanted them to go back but Toru and Ojiro were both hesitant checking their phone again to see if Bang had received their message but when the man ddin't show up for an hour at that point they made a point to try and contact him through other means the man had spent his time with saitama in the unihabital zone for the most part so they called Bakugo and Todoroki to see if they could get in contact with the man, Todoroki was the closest and had to travel towards saitama's home to deliver the message and not 10 minutes later Bang was in S-city.
They quickly went to find the man and show him where they had found Garou in battle, but by the time they had gotten them, the only thing left waiting for them was a large puddle of blood. Both Toru and Ojiro grimaced at the sight. Bang held a hard look. Ojiro attempted to apologize and wished that they did more for his disciple, but Bang stopped them and commented that it was his fault. During the fight with the elder centipede, he lost track of the buzzer that they had graciously given him, and he should have immediately asked for another instead of just trying to watch the area himself. He looked down at the blood and noticed that something was amiss, at least partially.
It looked like someone was dragging through it, but the trail went cold pretty quickly, just spontaneously stopping all of a sudden. Bang didn't want to get his hopes up, but there was a chance that Garou still lived. He had seen personally how much his apprentice could withstand and keep going. There was a chance that he was just too stubborn to die, but he was defenseless against monsters, and from what the teens had told him, it could mean he had been eaten by them. A grim thought he knew, but a possible one... He didn't know what to believe, but he wanted to ensure the two teens that it wasn't their fault; he even honored their bravery in saving the child during the battle. Only time will tell if this was how Garou met his end, but he will search for at least a little longer.

Decisions are made: Blast, Sitch, Class 1A
The class wasn't completely surprised when they received a message from Sitch telling them that he had important news to discuss with them involving them going back home. They had thought it would have been an official timestamp of when they could be sent home and how, but what the man had conveyed to them was something entirely different.
"I have spoken with Blast, and he has revealed to me that the cubes that you all arrived in were strange; they were continually closing in on themselves until recently they collapsed entirely. blast speculated that these gateways would send you all home if put back into them, but not wanting to endanger you all further by exposing you all to more of God's influence, they have taken it upon themselves to travel themselves and come back so that they could retrace their steps and offer a safer passageway for your trip back home. All this to say, you will be staying here just a bit longer." Sitch concluded… There was a small silence that hung around the teens as they started to contemplate what the man had just said.
"You idiots could have told us!" Bakugo shouted suddenly, and Iida reprimanded his loud, abrasive classmate, but in the next moment, he turned to Sitch himself.
"While I disagree with how Bakugo phrased it, I do agree with his sentiment that we should have been consulted before making such a decision on our behalf. Even though I can understand the good intentions, things are going on in our world that are of urgent importance." Iida remarked to the man, taking a slight look at Midoriya in the process.
"I… I'm sorry to hear that, but I had no choice in the matter either; Blast told me what was going to happen, and despite being a hero for the association, he has complete operational autonomy, especially in attaining God," Sitch replied.
"You mentioned "they" as in Blast is not alone?" Momo questioned
"You'd be correct; he has an entire team with him combating God. I do not know these individuals personally, and judging from you all, they may not even be a part of this universe or planet."
Sitch replied, and Midoriya snapped his head up in wonder at a whole team of heroes as strong as Blast. That sounds insane, but if the multiverse is real, then what other types of people exist out there? What types of worlds? Could there be one where they don't exist? Are they heroes in all worlds? What about...? Midoriya had entered into another muttering fit that he was dragged out of by his Bakugo yelling at him to shut up.
"Umm… Is there a chance that blast would allow two of the monsters to accompany us back home?" Koda asked hesitantly, and Sitch looked at him curiously.
"Well, I'll ask, but in that case, it is even more important that you didn't leave with the portals, as the answer to that would undoubtedly be no; monsters, due to their very nature, are more corruptible to God's influence than even regular people." Sitch replied, and Koda smiled at that before getting jumped on by Aki, who was also excited by the news.
"Sitch, is there any news on the hero association's response to the monster association?" Midoriya asked, and the man looked at him.
"Well, I'm not in charge of that department, but from my understanding, Sekingar is the one in charge of the rescue effort. He, along with the child Emperor, are currently creating a roster of heroes that will be assigned to the extraction team." sitch replied
"Will Blast be participating?" Bakugo asked
"No, he will not," Sitch replied, and everyone was surprised to hear that Sitch continued.
"God is deemed a higher threat than anything at scale right now, so he must be away holding it at bay with the others, especially with another member away finding your transport back home," Sitch explained, and he saw that the teens were somewhat unsatisfied with the answer, but none complained too much. After that discussion, Sitch bid his farewell and left, not before telling the teens that they likely needed to do a formal statement of some kind so that the world knew where they stood in the current climate as several monster sympathizers, and worst yet, doomsayers are trying to use their group as a symbol for their message, and with that, the man was gone.
The class was left to speculate about the information they had just received. Midoriya, for his part, told them that they shouldn't worry too much about going back home with all their might and the recovered heroes now that they were on a somewhat more even parity with All for One and the League of Villains, which everyone found relieving in their way but still bitter about the choice being made for them. Tokoyami chimed in with his thoughts about the monster association situation.
If the child emperor were to have his say in their choice of the rescue team, then there is a highly likely chance that they will not be on the said team and will be reserved to the sidelines. He explained that the zombieman and he have discussed the child prodigies growing suspicions of them and, more importantly, how they operate with dealing with monsters in comparison to them, and with such a highly important mission, he will likely not want to deal with it. The class, for the most part, wasn't too surprised by that. They had several heroes come out against them and what they stood for, and they never held it against them for it.
They were technically right; it was them going against the norm of this world, but to exclude all of them seemed just stupid and full of bravado. To exclude four S-class-level heroes would just be idiotic, and speaking of the child prodigy, Mina and Jiro had taken Momo off to the side to discuss something with the girl, which could also hopefully smooth over the situation between them.
"So how did they take it?" blast asked Sitch.
"Better than I thought they would; sorry to waste your time being here." sitch replied
"No problem; since everything is settled, I'm heading back, cool?" blast remarked simply
"Yes, wait, there's one more thing: the teens would like it if he could bring two monsters with him when they leave back home.'' Sitch said, and Blast cocked an eyebrow at that.
"What disaster level are we talking about here?" blast asked
"Well, I don't know for certain, but the two most prominent to stick around him seem to be a demon-level tiger and a high tiger, maybe a low-demon bear." sitch replied
"Is he sure that's a good idea? Judging by when I first met them, a demon in their world would be like a dragon in ours. Could he handle that in his consciousness if they go wild?" blast asked
"I'm sure he knows the risk; besides, the monster seems to treat them fairly friendly; if anything, they would feel more at home in their world, for all we know," Sitch replied with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Well, that's fine with me; fewer monsters for you all to deal with, right? Well, I'm sure Tatsumaki can handle some demons, but she might as well lighten her load at least a bit." blast said with a laugh as he left through a portal and was gone in that next moment.
2 Days Later
My secret teacher: Garou, Ojiro
Ojiro was alone on his patrol today given that Bang wasn't up for much training him anymore still and charanko had other plans after their training while he could see and visit Toru at her new dojo, he didn't want to intrude on her lessons too much and he could also use the alone time he didn't have a new dojo that he could call home yet he stilled searching for one that would match him, he had found one for Midoriya from looking at the super fight tournament and his girlfriend's gift from the festival, Psycho-Analysis Martial Arts were just as it sounded and something Midoriya was more naturally attuned to then the water stream rock smashing fist, the entire time they were trying to go against his very nature into not thinking too much when he fought instead of wanting to lean into it even more. He had sat in for a few of his classes in his new dojo, and his initial impression was that they were all just like Midoriya; the ultra-fast murmurs that they spoke in were something, but they could all understand each other as if they were talking normally.
He was curious how the master justified their dojo loss in the super fight tournament, and he simply explained the limits of the style straight forward, or more precisely, no thought actions were hard to counter to their martial arts. predicted that every action the opponent took was measured with a goal or objective in mind, not some simpleton simply swinging his body around, and least of all, some large body just sitting down on someone. The master remarked that Rosie had also fallen into the easy pitfalls of the martial art, which was overthinking, which sounded ironic to him given the actual style, but it was an incredible thing that the difference between a novice and a master of the style could think while he moved, analyzing his opponent while also not lowering his defenses to ensure that such incidents don't happen.
The analyses didn't just end on traditional body language and opponent movement but also the way they spoke in battle, so catching the enemy in a monologue or even a simpler gesture like grunts of pain or how they react to pain was all insight into things they use to build an image. once this image is complete they can enter a mode called Onceho-link. This allowed the person to predict their target's next move, and depending on the clarity of the image in question, it could even allow them to tell what the target's next words would be.
Master Joseph even demonstrated it on him a couple of times and showed how effective it was, describing him as a very straightforward individual and "easy to read." Just after a couple of conversations and light sparring, Ojiro had half a mind to think that the master was calling him basic again, which at this point, if people without quirks were calling him, maybe he should think of changing things up about himself. However his thoughts were sidelined when he noticed that kid from before, during his travels was walking alone, he held food in his hands that, frankly speaking, seemed too much for a boy his age to consume.
Ojiro didn't know why he found it suspicious; he could just be carrying something for his friends or a date, but when he entered the forest alone, his curiosity grew further, so he decided to trail the small child and see if everything was ok. There was a chance of the man being attacked by animals as well, due to the food smell, so if anything happened, he could protect him if it came down to it, so there was also that, but maybe he was just bored with his day and that he wanted to do something. He traveled, being careful not to step on any sticks or branches that would give him away.
The boy was constantly keeping a lookout over his shoulder to check if he was being followed, which only made Ojiro even more suspicious of the child. The boy must be involved with something; he was involved with Garou after all, or his uncle, as he called him when they first heard that they had immediately asked Bang if Garou had any family, and he told him that he did not, at least none, but that he still kept in touch with his parents, who were fairly neglectful of him, and Ojiro thought that explained a couple of things about the stance the teen took with his world view.
As the child got into a clearing in the forest, he suddenly picked up the pace. Ojiro originally thought that he was made and cursed his lack of ability, but that didn't seem to be the case as the boy called for his "uncle" again. Ojiro's heart immediately raced as he closed in on the edge of the outskirts. Could it have been the very same "uncle" as previously? Could Garou still be alive if there was so much blood on the ground? Maybe the kid just had an efficiency for calling older people he knew uncles; there was just no way someone could As the door to the hut at the center of the clearing opened up, he was shocked to see that the kid's "uncle" were their Garou alive and were well yelling at the kid to stop calling him uncle.
The man had undergone a massive change from when he first saw him. Both of his eyes were dark, similar to Mina's, but unlike her yellow eyes that she supported, his eyes were a deep crimson red, which went along with his hair, which was also mostly red at this point, but he was alive and well. He wouldn't say well; his body seemed different, and the air around him felt off in comparison to what he saw of him just a month ago. He reached into his pocket to get out his phone, but he hesitated as he watched the man's eyes scan over the forest. It felt like he was staring directly at him for a moment, but maybe he had seen something else as he gestured for the child to get inside, but it turned out he wasn't so lucky. As soon as the kid set foot inside, he closed the door behind him and again looked directly in his path.
"Come on out." Garou said simply, and Ojiro, not wanting to tempt the man anymore, hesitantly did so slowly, ensuring that he had his phone out and visible to the hunter, which, going by his expression, confused him.
"Are you going to threaten me with a phone?"Garou was fairly confused by the object in the boy's hands, and Ojiro also showed confusion but remembered that this world was mostly still on flip phones, not smartphones.
"With the press of a button, Bang can be here in a matter of minutes," Ojiro replied confidently.
"You don't think I can't kick the crap out of you again during that time?" Garou asked.
"Well yeah… but you probably won't be able to get away again. It seems like the monsters in the association have betrayed you now. What will you do if Bang finds you again?"Ojiro replied simply. Garou grimaced at that thought. Was he strong enough to take out the old man as he currently was? Did he want to test that or wait a little longer for his inevitable rematch? He still felt the shadow pain of Bang's attacks just thinking about it. He wasn't ready yet to face him; he needed just a little more time, but that begged the question.
"Why haven't you summoned him already? It makes no sense for you to not have, so you're either stalling for time or you're bluffing." Garou remarked, taking a menacing step forward, but Ojiro quickly shook his head before gripping his phone even harder.
"I… I don't know why I haven't pushed the button already since I heard about what they were doing to you. I kind of felt bad." Ojiro remarked, but this got a snarl from Garou.
"Spare me your pity," the teen replied aggressively, and Ojiro held both of his hands up in defense.
"It's not a pity; it's just a really bad way for someone to attempt to change your mind, Garou. I don't think what you're fighting for is entirely wrong; our group is technically fighting in a much similar way, just differently." Ojiro remarked
"Oh yeah, you non-killing army guys are still doing that even with everything going around. The monster surrenderists are parading your guy's group around as leaders, you know? Garou said, and Ojiro nodded.
"Yeah, we're going to comment on that. We know that the monster association is dangerous, but we believe that their existence shows that monsters could become a part of society if given the chance." Ojiro explained, and Garou kept a stoic expression on his face as he pondered what the teen just said. He again wondered: What did he want to achieve? Was monster and human coexistence part of his plan to become a monster above monsters?
He wanted to become an omnipresent fear, and that made people cower from doing anything stupid, but where did that leave monsters on the table? He didn't hate monsters; he wanted to become one after all, but they were more unpredictable than regular people, but going off that orochi, if he was the boss, then they would listen to whatever they wanted, and anyone who didn't well, then they could just die by his hand.
"Well, what do you want, then? Why are you still here hoping for a rematch or something?"Garou asked
"No, not that... I was just curious about the kid at first, but now, I guess... I don't know. Ojiro said as he continued to think.
"Well, if you're not going to be a rat and you're not here to fight, then you can just leave. I'm done hunting heroes if that's what you're concerned about, unless they're the S-class, but I assume that button of yours is around for all of your group, which means Bangs is going to be around no matter where I go, which means I'll just need to train to get stronger than him here and now." Garou remarked simply with a shrug, and at that, Ojiro's face lit up.
"That's it. For my silence, I want you to train me." Ojiro said suddenly, and then there was a brief pause as Garou considered the boy's proposal. His face turned into one of confusion.
"Aren't you training under the old man himself? What the hell do you need me for?" Garou asked.
"Well, for the past month or so, I've only been doing self-taught lessons with myself and Charanko. Bang was focused on finding you, and now that we found the blood you left from that night, Bang hasn't been in the mood for much training, leaving me without a proper teacher." Ojiro explained, and at that, Garou was surprised and somewhat relieved. Was Bang that hung up about his potential death? The feeling quickly left as it was replaced with anger at what he just felt. He shouldn't be feeling those types of emotions; he wanted to be a monster, right? Someone who spreads fear throughout the world couldn't feel such things for people he couldn't afford to get so sentimental for.
"Fine… I'll teach you a thing or two, just don't go crying home, because I'm not going to go easy on you as the old man did." Garou remarked threateningly, and Ojiro nodded in confirmation and dedication, but Garou would see how far that dedication went, and to ensure that the boy didn't tell Bang anything, he had a brilliant thing that he could teach him that even he would have to keep secret from the old man or he would likely be just as in trouble as he was when he first saw it.
1 day later
Prisoner transfer: Eyesight, Mina, Jiro, Momo, Tokoyami, Tsu, Sigismund
Mina, and Jiro high-fived for their fantastic, successful operation to convince the child emperor to hand over eyesight to them. The snake women had fully cooperated in the endeavor of creating the anti-venom and had even given away a few monster association secrets to the child prodigy. The thing about it was that both Mina and Jiro advised that the monster did not give too much away at any given time or elude that she knew more than she let on because both of them summarized that the child emperor would kill her as soon as the benefit of keeping her alive was gone, not that the boy even really believed her in the first place about the information she told him.
However, they had a backup plan for the situation, short of trying to free the monster themselves and sneak her out of the place, which would make them look even worse in the hero's eyes when they were inevitably caught. Instead, both of them had not much of anything to offer the hero, but they knew someone who could, which was Yaomomo. Her quirk was an essential gold mine for the child to exploit and use for his experiments.
Not only that, the association was also charging him with finding and mapping out the base of the monster associations, which initially confused them since they already had said information, but they guessed he wasn't told or informed about that or he knew and disregarded the information due to its source. There could also be the possibility that they simply wanted to cross-reference the information they were being told so they knew that what they were given was correct, which was a logical option. While at this point the class had trusted Torax, they couldn't blame the others to air on the side of caution due to them being monsters and the multiple lives that would be on the line for not only the heroes but the hostages as well.
Eventually, when it became clear that the boy's patients with the monster were wearing thin clothes, they decided to opt in for their plan, which was simply to advertise Momo to the best of the two's ability. Of course, Jiro ensured that they got permission first from the girl herself before they went along with Mina's plan, who got super into it, creating even a freaking pamphlet like she was marketing a car or something, but Jiro let the girl go off and do it; it would likely be better than her marketing pitch. Mina deceived the things Momo quirk could do and how it could help the child prodigy quickly speed up his tinkering, allowing him to duplicate parts with the drop of a hat.
She was smart, courteous, and very professional; she could create anything that she had seen already, so if something broke down but he didn't know how she could recreate it, he could figure it out, and she could help with materials and saving money. The only thing that Jiro took offense to during her glorious pitch of praising Momo was when she said that she would be "eye candy" to have around the lab and things of that nature which she quickly cut off as that was going too far and while the boy was noticeably blushing he was getting more creep out then enthused by her comments but despite that Mina's play worked out and he agreed for them to take the monster off their hands and while they had to tell a little lie on where they were taking the monster and told the child scientist that drive knight had taken an interest in the monsters and child emperor was curiously remarking they thought life of getting experimented by him was better than just being killed off they simply replied that at least she would be alive and have a chance of living a normal life.
Of course, this wasn't the plan, as Momo had come along with a large truck to pick up the monsters from the compound.
"So where are we going? I assume that you aren't just going to be letting me go?" eyesight asked the two girls who sat in the back seat with the monster, a large armored gate separating them.
"You're going to a monster preserve that we built." Jiro said.
"Please, do you take me for some kind of animal?" the monster remarked, her snakes hissing lowly in agitation.
"Well-"
"It was either this or letting the child emperor kill you." Mina replied, cutting Jiro off. There was more hissing, but it died down.
"How large is this place? I hope it's not just another small prison," Eyesight remarked in a huff.
"It's pretty large; at 40 square kilometers, you'll have plenty of room to stretch your legs, erh, slither around on your tail." Mina said, correcting herself.
"You aren't the only monster that's in there; by the way, they're about 40 now, I think, before you." Jiro commented, and his eyesight hummed at that.
"Are there any rules for this place?" eyesight questioned
"Ugh, rules? Like?" Jiro asked
"Are we allowed to kill each other?" eyesight asked simply
"Ugh… Well, we would hope that you guys didn't; there should be enough animals scattered around to not have to resort to killing and eating each other, and there's enough space that everyone should have plenty of room," Jiro replied with some hesitance.
"I see. Well, what's the strength of the monsters there? Would I be the strongest?" The monsters said it with some enthusiasm for the first time they were talking.
"Well, most of them range from wolf to tiger; there are about four demons in the mix, six technically, but two of them are temporary members." Mina said, and this earned a sigh of Eyesight from Jiro and a facepalm.
"Why are these individuals only temporary members?" eyesight questioned
"Well, they are more trustworthy. They have been with us for some time, so we can trust them." Mina suggested.
"Am I not trustworthy?" eyesight asked, anger creeping back into her tone.
"Well, not so far, but that could change if you prove it to us." Mina suggested.
"What would you do even if you were allowed out? Go back to the monster association."Jiro was seriously questioned.
"I would like a collection of humans for myself," eyesight confidently said, as if it were no problem at all.
"And you wonder why we don't trust you." Jiro replied with a deadpan expression.
"You don't know, humans are delicious, animals are fine and all, but humans are a delicacy," eyesight claimed, and both of the girls very much squirmed from discomfort.
"This is like an awful way to get us to trust you, you know." Jiro commented
"I'm just being honest here. Is that not what trust is?" eyesight snapped back, and Jiro opened her mouth to argue, but she guessed she had a point.
"Well yeah, that's a no. Animals will have to do for you," Mina simply said, and there was a sound of hissing followed by thrashing, almost like the monster was throwing a mini tantrum.
"Well, how about dead humans, then? Surely you do not need the dead."The monster asked, and at that, the two girls just looked at each other, both curious and waiting for the other to respond as they shrugged.
"Well, at that, we could see what we could do." Mina said it with some hesitance.
The rest of the car ride was spent mostly in silence. There was some thrashing around, but that wasn't from the monster trying to escape; she was still rubbing off the excess shed from her body. The monster had been able to make a full recovery from when she was nearly digested by the pig god, her shoulder and hair snakes being able to grow back to their same blueish color, along with the purple returning to her tail. They finally arrived a couple of hours later.
The two got out and opened the door for the snake to enter the large enclosure. She was a bit angry when they had to implant a tracker into her arm, but she relented to it before proceeding inside. The monster was labeled as a demon-level threat by the child emperor, so they entered that into the computer, and they saw the woman monster noticeably smile at that before heading inside. They headed towards the spectator panels that outlined the preserve, and at least Jiro was surprised to find both Tokoyami and Tsu there, along with Sigismund's unconscious body. Jiro quickly swished her head over to Mina, who looked away, bashfully whistling to herself.
"Mina, please don't tell me this was the reason you waited until Sunday to decide on the transfer." Jiro asked
"I have no idea what you're talking about; it was just a coincidence." Mina murmured
"What's the problem? Ribbit." tsu said, approaching.
"Well, Miss Matchmaker here decided to introduce eyesight to the place today, and she's a lamia-type monster." Jiro remarked, and at that, both Tsu and Tokoyami looked at her with an uninspired expression.
"Hey, hey..my intentions weren't to love make or anything like that... I just thought it would be better to introduce her and have a somewhat familiar monster to experience with... Mina added on the last part when they still gave her a look that read that none of them believed her, but it was too late for that now. The day was Sunday, which meant that Sigismund had all of his monsters in his head at the same time and that when he went to sleep, all of them would be unleashed at once, and this offered them the perfect environment for them to be free and roam around and tire themselves out while socializing them with other monsters if they ran into one. Of course, Shadowman stayed by the unconscious boy.
"You do know that Apophis is not the most friendly of monsters, and the only way they would be similar is if Sigismund combined with him." Tokoyami clarified, and it was as if, almost on instinct, Shadowman himself combined with Sigismund not want to entertain the idea of such actions. Tokoyami stared for a moment at the levitating knight hybrid wraith, surrounded by a dark aura. Tokoyami, when he first saw it, thought it looked very cool, and it never wore off every time he saw it.
"Nix, he's thinking it again." shining light remarked rather loudly, and Tokoyami took his eyes off the combination to look at the two of them, both giving disappointed looks.
"I wasn't thinking anything, and as I said before, I just remarked that it was cool and that I hoped I looked that cool with dark ankh." Tokoyami replied that when first seeing it, he was impressed, but seeing as how he was talking about another shadow creature, dark shadow held a bit of jealousy and at night complained to Tsu, but he did exaggerate it like he didn't want him anymore in comparison to shadow man, which Tokoyami felt was completely absurd and Tsu did to, but she liked to humor the shadow a bit, especially after the whole Eris incident at the festival.
"Guys, I think she's coming this way." Jiro commented thankfully taking the attention away from Tokoyami and his blunder as the crew stared down below at the incoming monster, shadowman and apophis were both the defensive types of monsters and stayed closed by to sigismund's real body despite them fairly rarely conversing with the other, the only other one was dragon lord but he didn't do anything but sleep as usual he noticed the monster past him and they exchanged glances between the two but that was all as as Mina predicted or plan really either could be the case Eyesight made a B-line straight for Apophis which was coiled up under the shadow of a tree, now Tokoyami was curious about the new comers level but when it was expressed that she was a demon well his worries died at least somewhat Apophis was the weakest of them being only rated a tiger threat weaker than even shadow man, so he wouldn't just be able to kill her out right if it came to fighting but the opposite could be true although he would just be back in a couple of seconds if the monster managed to kill him, he would still intervene to stop that from happening so the crew watched on with interest as the two interacted.
As Tokoyami and Asui assumed, Apophis started the greeting with his usual display of anger and aggression reaching to his full height and flaring out his hood and eyesight responded in kind her hissing growing with intensity along with the snakes on her head doing the same spreading out making her look larger but even with that she wasn't as large as Apophis was but if there was one thing that this world taught them was that larger didn't necessarily mean stronger but monsters were sometimes stubborn and Apophis was the most stubborn of all sigismund monsters.
Naturally when Neither monster backed down from just idle threats the two scrambled Apophis struck out first launching himself at Eyesight the large lamia avoided it with a laugh and quickly severed around him while punching him in the side of the head with one of her arms, the two quickly became a tangle of tails as the monster entangled amongst each other, despite being larger eyesights arms and likely natural strength gave her the edge in the fighting which overturned a couple of trees and large rocks during the fighting Tokoyami wanted to leave but he was halted by shadowman of all people.
he told him that they weren't fighting to death but it was "pre-fight for dominance." all of the teens were confused but as long as shadowman and Sigismund thought it was ok then they guessed they could let the two settle themselves and eventually they did, the winner was eyesight she had changed into her more monstrous form puffing up slightly and held apophis down by the head shoving it into the ground and hissing while over top of him with a firm intensity.
Surprisingly the usually aggressive snake had completely gone silent offering a low hiss in return feeling satisfied by that eyesight seemingly let go and helped the other monster up even whipping away some of the dirt on his mouth and scales and just then the two were about to slither off into the forest together but before that apophis hissed back over directly at them and shadow man responded immediately telling dragon lord to go along with him but the dragon promptly ignored it causing shadowman to murmur with anger and turn towards Tokoyami, he separated from sigismund and laid the unconscious boy in his arms while he went instead.
Mina and Jiro were confused by the entire exchange but Tokoyami explained that traditionally Sigismund's monsters can't exist without being close to the boy's real body originally it was 100 meters but it had grown to 300 meters but on Sundays, each monster counted as the "real" body meaning that they could travel however far from him as long as they kept within 300 meters of each other so for Apophis to travel he needed to have a buddy as they didn't know where the others were, shadowman being protective wanted to stay but dragon lord being lazy and protective and stronger super seeded him so he went instead, Tokoyami explained and the two girls nodded at that but then Mina asked where were the two snake monsters headed and for that, Tokoyami had no idea, but a newcomer to the mix decided to give her two cents.
"They're going to fuck," a familiar voice said, suddenly making all the girls do a double take and gasp at the sudden vulgarity, but Tokoyami simply looked down in his arms at Sigismund. Well, not anymore, as now it was the Kitsune Eris. Tokoyami immediately went to drop the girl, but she had materialized a few ropes to essentially strap herself to him.
"Aww, don't be like that fumi... What would Shadowman think if you just dropped Sigismund like that? Hehe… or is it you just wanted me to wrap myself tighter against you so I don't fall?" The woman said this, reeling herself in, pressing herself against him, and rubbing up and down. She was suddenly struck on the side of the face by a tongue, and while both of them knew it didn't hurt the monsters, it got the message across as she let go of Tokoyami and backed away with her hands in the air.
"Come on, I'm just messing around Nix; no need to be so mean." Eris remarked with another snicker before it was halted as a shining light made her appearance in full form with her arrow drawn.
"You don't get to call her that." Tokoyami remarked simply.
"My, my, excuse me, yes, that's your special name, Fufu... I would like one myself."
"Annoying," Ribt replied immediately.
"Ah, ice-cold tsu. Be careful; you could go into hibernation," Kitsune remarked, flashing away for a moment a burst of smoke and appearing again behind Asui, but this time she was in the form of Todoroki, and Asui was frightened when the cold side of his hand touched her shoulder. Shining Light reacted immediately, clouding her in armor while smacking the offending hand away.
"Wait, before you guys tear the place up with your squabbling, can we go back and talk about what you just said? They're going where to what!?" Mina exclaimed suddenly. Jiro just face-palmed, but it did de-escalate the situation, so she guessed it worked out.
"Oh yeah, they're going to fuck; the new girl was feeling pretty stressed, and she wanted him to relive it. Good. Maybe after getting laid, he won't be so grumpy. If it works, maybe you should try it too." Eris said, turning back to Tokoyami, who simply rolled his eyes, but going by his feathers, it got to him, which went for Asui, as well as her face, which was notably reddened.
"You're just saying things. ribbit," Asui said.
"I'm being honest here; didn't Shadowman tell you it a pre-fight for dominance? For the next activity, of course." Eris remarked simply, and despite still being hesitant, Jiro was willing to humor her.
"Isn't that a bit fast?" Jiro questioned
"A lady has her needs, even monster ladies." eris replied
"Wait, are monsters fertile? Could they make a baby? How would that work with Sigismund?"Mina asked suddenly.
"Oh, we can test that out if you'd like." Eris remarked as she changed into Kirishima and got closure for Mina, but that just earned her a sprinkle of acid in her general direction. The monster avoided the attack by becoming small and rising back up.
"Well, in any case, is it ok for Sigismund to, you know, watch that?" Jiro questioned
"I don't sense him around here, and we all share thoughts, so I doubt he'll willingly go around them. Well, he is a young boy, so he could be curious enough to do it. As for the whole fertility thing, isn't that cub…aki right? Wasn't she born a monster? So yeah, I'm sure it's possible, but I doubt they would go that far with it; it's for pleasure, not procreation, as I said before." Eris said with a shrug of her shoulders.
"I see." Jiro remarked simply
"Well, I guess that's as good a welcoming gift as any." Mina said awkwardly with a small chuckle, and Jiro just gazed at her with an unimpressed expression.
Week 2
Class Training Day/Nightmare Day: Class 1A+
As week two began to roll around for the class and the news of them staying started to kick in, Mina had come up with a brilliant idea to recapture their original school lives by having a group training day. It would not only help everyone show off what they learned, but if they were selected for the mission against the monster association, they should be able to come up with some new combo attacks. Everyone thought it was a pretty good idea, so they went along with her plan. Of course, it wouldn't just be them but a plethora of other individuals as well, tagging along for the ride, so they simply couldn't just take up one of the training areas inside of the association proper but instead needed to take up a large plot of flat land outside of the association proper. It gave them plenty of room but not many tools; however, Momo could take care of that for the most part. The initial roster was going to be the class along with a couple of their traditional teachers and friends, but that extended as there seemed to be a long list of people that were simply coming along for one reason or another, such as;
darkshine, bone, Mizuki, atomic samurai and his disciplines, spring mustachio, golden ball, shooter, forte, saren, goddess glasses, torax, aki, asterius, volten, enjoe, brut, chemonille, Jackie, charanko, silver chain, shadow ring, and surprisingly enough lady death, which wasn't supposed to be there, but when she had been on a car ride to the association for some reason or another and saw all of them out there, she dashed out of the car to reach them.
They allowed her to stay and hang around, with the caveat that she would be watched under their supervision. Tatsumaki skipped out, not wanting to bore herself with training again. This was the same for most of the S-class teachers, even with Bang and Bomb. Although those two not showing up had mostly to do with Bang still coming to terms with what happened to Garou and how he was taking it, he didn't feel up to fighting or practicing with others recently.
The day started fairly normally. Initially, there was a warm-up element to get everyone in the mood to get pumped up for the activities that were going to commence. This was led by Darkshine, of course, and while his usual prodigies were excited about it, others were more skeptical, especially the ones that weren't used to the strenuous physical activity. Despite the initial point of the massive gathering people naturally separated themselves back into their usual groups with a few caveats for those who didn't have their tutor available like Midoriya and Uraraka, for example, the couple had decided to join darkshine's group of disciples although while Midoriya would practice with darkshine for the most of the assignment the two of them were nearly equal in strength and power when Midoriya was just at 100% but when including things such as gear shift and Fa Jin skewed their mock battles in Midoriya's favor which clearly surprised the large man and for a moment again he seemed to freeze up after his second lost but after a moment to get a breather and recuperate he got back into the groove but he didn't spar against Midoriya anymore only deciding to help out with weight lifting and strength practice that the others were participating on.
Uraraka was more taken with Mizuki and her style of fighting, or more specifically, wrestling. She had trained with the tanned girl a few times and always enjoyed the experience. Mizuki thought that her power was the perfect fit for wrestling and submission holds, given that it would give her the ultimate leverage against an opponent in ground-based brawls.
Momo and Tokoyami practiced with shooter as she promised the hero before that she would come back to him eventually and she found no better time than when one of her other classmates could use the practice with the bow and arrow as well Tokoyami thanked her for the opportunity he did need to practice with shining light artemis bow as he remembered missing his target against that monster in V-city, if it wasn't for Toru the fight likely would have lasted a bit longer, shooter was just happy to pass on his tips and tricks as well as thanking the girl for her trick arrows that she offered him before and while not said Momo got the feeling that he wanted more of them which she was happy to offer the B-class hero it was the least she could do for his time in teaching them how to shoot. They were some distance away, and their targets ranged from simple targeters—some would be stationary, some would move around, others would do a random combination of the two—and the hardest target was her helper bots, which had targeters placed along their bodies, but they would defend them, and they would need to bypass that defense with the accuracy of their shots, but that was much easier said than done for the most part.
The secondary rage course was between Mineta and Golden Ball. This was their first time meeting up, and he A-classed in the place of King as the man suggested to him that he would be a better match for the hero than he was, which Mineta took to mean that he could teach him something meaningful instead of just teaching him how to play games better, which he didn't mind exactly now that he thought about it, but learning how to make use of his pop launcher was a definite good change of pace.
Golden Ball didn't mind teaching him the tricks of the trade when it came to launchers, and while their munitions types were somewhat different, their methods were essentially the same, but the difference in ammo was still by and large a problem. Mineta's Popoff orb didn't bounce like golden balls small orbs did, so he couldn't do any ricochet shots with him as he had perfected for the most part, but Mineta compromised and instead elected to use himself as the ricochet, and he would fire from that angle instead.
So teaching the boy the trigonometry of certain shots didn't go to complete waste and they had an excellent target to try it out on which was Iida himself, not only did he provide himself as a target for the duo mostly to continue work on his agility and stability while moving at high speeds and changing directions on the fly, while traditionally he didn't have much to fear upon getting hit by Mineta's or golden balls attacks due to his speed but dodging Mineta's attacks were just the first part of the problem even a miss could still be dangerous as the balls still stuck around and proved to be even more hazard that he would need to consider before avoiding it this wasn't even to mention his new ability that he would sometimes throw out with hit pop open orbs he would create entire large pathways of ice and some other gelatin material that would spread across the ground and make it even more hazardous if he slipped up he would not only be eating the dirt but also getting pelted by the two of them, but it was great practice when dealing with many different scenarios that could arise.
Kaminari sparred along with volten the two practicings appearing to be like two lighting bolts of yellow and blue clashing and colliding and coalescing into the air in a dazzling display that would often distract Mina during her practicing she was, training alongside her teacher forte and none other than Todoroki himself given the stoic teen didn't feel like he belonged anywhere she took him along with her so that she could practice more on her plasma form with a partner that wouldn't be burned at least to easily, she had been looking up and discovering new and creative ways of to use her awakening now looking up more and more states of matter that she could manipulate and she showcased it to Todoroki it was called super liquid while maintaining similar looked to her regular acid. Her horns took on a liquid state and floated in place, and her acid itself took on some unique properties, such as being able to float upwards and spin indefinitely. Mina used this technique combined with her teaching from forte to come up with a perpetual tornado: super liquid.
A large tornado of liquid rose into the sky like a small hurricane, 30 feet high and half as wide, and the first thing Todoroki noted from it was that it was cold. Mina explained that, well, she read that for such a liquid to exist, it needs to be at near-zero temperatures, and her acid was no exception here, so the super liquid essentially gave her acid a cold element. It was a secondary defensive option that she devised to protect others if the acid didn't stop whatever was coming towards them then surely the temperature should stop them it was like dual protection barrier and while showing off she wanted to show that using her phase switch she could change it into something else which in this case was plasma but she didn't think things through as the tornado of purple flame started to drift making everyone panic for a moment that was close by.
Todoroki used his vacuum to suck in as much of the heat he could which dissipated it before Mina finally got a hold of herself and changed it back to her regular self and a smaller but still towering tornado came down in a splash of acid luckily she knew to keep the acidity to the absolute minimum so when it was going to splash down it would have hurt anyone too bad but Todoroki refroze it so as the acid feel it simply shattered upon landing and no one got wet either although everyone looked her way and she yelled out a whoop and apologized.
She continued to tell Todoroki of this super liquid trait, with it being "super duper special fast," if she had shot it out of her acid slingers on her fingertips, it was a guaranteed hit on any target within 100 meters of her. She demonstrated it by shooting it at some one-pointer robots nearby, and true to her word, Todoroki could barely catch when the slime reached the robots and completely bisected them, destroying them instantly. Todoroki was admittedly impressed, although he needed to teach the girl about proper control when dealing with flames. His father had an attack very similar to what he called a hellfire storm. It's dangerous to use in public areas, as she has just seen, but the heat dissipates quickly, so if she had enough runway room, she could use it, but it would be better to just stick with the super liquid variant so far.
Todoroki himself had been working on some things with both of his sides but more internally, and given that Mina gave him more than enough heat to build up, he started to expand that heat around himself, containing it close to him. He laughed for a moment and explained that he learned this from fighting his brother; he enshrouded himself in blue flames that flickered off him, but despite this, he would only use his ice powers. It was a stop-gap to where he wanted to go with this ability, but for now, he was calling it equilibrium. As long as he was caked in flames, he could use his ice powers without restraint until the flames died down. Mina thought it was cool and a lot like her acid man, which she was going to take credit for, and Todoroki just chuckled but allowed it as the two continued.
Koda and Shoji practiced with one another; they didn't have as much flare as the other, but the two styles complimented each other well in practice. Shoji's multiple arms and hands combined with the multiple ways he could summon them allowed koda a lot of time to practice his weaving skills along with his punching skills and truly test his limits without the monster amps from before, the monsters were keeping to themselves mostly majority of the heroes were keeping a somewhat decent distance away from them so Aki, Torax, Furakuro, and Asterius fought against each other but they were also joined by shadow ring the girl had wanted to challenge one of the demon level monsters to a battle and Asterius was happy to oblige her but try as she might the small ninja wasn't able to beat him even once not for a lack of trying either even going down to challenge Torax as well but not meeting much luck there either.
Sigisgusmand was also around the day was Wednesday so that meant the monster of the day was Sol, sigismund monster was about the same strength as the three brothers combined if not a little stronger but when the two combined the gap widened by a pretty significant margin their combined state took the form of an Egyptian sphinx, the head while mostly animal like but held human-like features mostly, she still held the body of her lion self just a being a bit larger than before the same size as torax but held two distinct extra things this was mostly her new large eagle type wings with the fire trails almost resembles a phoenix when fully extended and the second was a long large snake-like tail that from its mouth could extend with a sword like a tongue or bite with deadly venom.
they, as they would like to be called Sol, were a lot more willing to share control over the body with sigismund if the teen wanted to as her love for fighting never wavered and only increased so the shared spotlight usually allowed sigismund to pump the breaks when she was going too far, in this combine state she was about as strong as aki which in terms of the VGS at .5 which meant that they were nearing the above tiger, low demon tier of ability. They had sparred together against both Aki and Furakuro; even Shadow Ring had attempted to fight them a couple of times, but the results mostly stayed the same as with the other monsters.
The three brothers sat mostly on the sidelines for now; they were still working on getting their human forms completely straight before practicing like the rest of them, especially as their teachers were busy at the moment. Saren was one of the only monsters that fought alongside the other heroes, more specifically Sero and the disciples, while the Atomic Samurai sat off to the side, loosely spectating the affair. Sero and Saren knew that he was there to ensure his disciple's safety since he was around them; he didn't trust the monster, and he couldn't blame the guy for that, although Saren didn't like the bloodlust he felt every time he moved his sword against one of them.
Ojiro, Toru, Jackie, and Charanko practiced amongst themselves, which was usual for them. It began simply enough: the girls got to show off the moves they learned from the new dojo they were; thankfully, they didn't use the whirlwind to disrobe them as was often the case with the two prankster girls, falling back on the fact that it was a reliable strategy against people who were modest about themselves and didn't like to be seen naked in public. Jackie even remarked that Toru showed her how it was done since she is an exhibitionist and could think like that, and Toru deflected, replying that she had just remembered something Mina did form before during their early days with Aoyama back in the sports festival.
Aoyama and Tsu practiced together mostly against Momo's helper bots given that they didn't have many of any special skills that needed incentivizing compared to the others in the class but even with that, the two complimented each other well given that Sweet Mask had taught him many things revolving around kicks that Tsu would be interested in but also using his naval nails practice was also useful somewhat in helping the girl practice with her bone claws while she didn't like the ability for many reasons as it was not only fairly one dimensional in its utility other than stabbing fairly dangerous things but it also was painful to pull out and retract inside of herself even with a salamanders regeneration.
They were useful for administering toxin however but she wanted a smaller method for insertion so using said salamander ability to drop off a body part while also using a poison dart frog ability to grow spines from it's head to administer it's poison combing the two allowed her to shoot out spikes from her body like a porcupine covered in whatever toxin she wanted to secrete at the time this allowed her toxin to circulate and be more effective as it would hopefully be inside of the body instead of being absorbed by the skin which would dampen the effects but obviously against robots she had no hope of actually showing the effect off but she didn't let that stop her, although they did have another unlikely accomplice in their practice which was lady death with her massive scythe that she swung around with a little too much wreckless abandon especially close to them which both of them were uncomfortable with leading to her having it swapped out with a blunted prop one instead much to the women's dismay.
Bakugo trained alongside his girlfriend, Jiro, and goddess glasses, Jiro still had to get the hang of her new boots and fly around with them and the same could be said for bakguo so the two were helping each other out in their practice but along with that practice, the two also practice her aim with her more concentrated sound waves with not only her gauntlets but also her sonic screeches as well but Bakugo wasn't done with just that just like his girlfriend would always like to tell him he didn't just have to train his body but his mind as well so for that he had glasses on the side and jiro to assist in that regard and Silver Chain applauded his forwards thinking as she was thinking of practicing in similar way, so their the two of them sat still first allowing Jiro to go first since she also still needed to work on her new ability which she simply called tune, the girl had been more and more willing to sing now but going completely acapella thing still eluded her so she had actually wrote things down for short songs to give simple orders like lie down or surrender, or in one case to get her a drink but that song was for someone in particular, she found that she didn't need to sing the orders directly the intent behind her words would usually traverse so she only needed to sing but the effects strengthen when the intent matched the lyrics she found.
The two had experienced her ability before and were aptly able to resist, for the most part, not giving into it, but Bakugo felt the nerves come up in his hands. The monster's love beam was another thing entirely as the encircling beam came rushing towards them, encircling them. Bakugo felt a slight twitch of emotion he felt his ambitions somewhat give way and it was all focused on the monster but when she beckoned him forward in a demanding tone his body stopped itself as a single foot raised off the ground to take those step forwards and reset where it was but as she got angry it seemed to increase the effects but his resistance increased right along with it.
Bakugo eventually overcame it but he had trouble his body unbeknown to him had taken several steps forward already reaching halfway between them before snapping out of it in comparison to his girlfriend who hadn't taken a single step forward and if anything she thought that Jiro's subtle manipulation was more effective against her than the monster direct forwards assault on the mind but it seemed for Bakugo it was the opposite. Bakugo, of course, wasn't satisfied with that and wanted to run the test over and over again, but it only proved to weaken his resistance every time, and when he was about to kneel before her, he yelled out in anger and nearly blew her and himself up if Silver Chain didn't stop him.
The groups gathered again this time to truly mix and match styles as Toru and Mina went over to join Sero, and the samurai, along with Lady Death, gave her back her scythe as the disciples found it ok to hold in their presence while they spared against one another. Sero taught Momo, Aoyama, and Toru a bit here and there about what he knew about the sword so far, along with him and Toru getting into a light and tape fight against each other. Momo unveiled one of her stronger robots, which was the G5 drone, but she was just calling it Super Bot. It had a few alterations from the original, mostly just a different color scheme of blue and purple instead of the orange and yellow that the original sported. The machine had an adaptive and coping mechanism that allowed it to mirror the styles it had just seen, which it used to great effect against the disciples, beating each of them in one-on-one combat, as well as Lady Death, which even mirrored her scythe style as it swapped its weapon on the fly with nanotechnology.
Ojiro , Kaminari, and Kirishima had their three way powered up brawl against one another Kaminari being powered up by Mina acid of all things as the girl revealed that she could create lighting with her plasma state which Kaminari was definitely impressed by that although she had to sit on the sidelines for their bout even though she wanted to join in as well but they explained that it wouldn't really be fair for her to join them and as they boys started she could sort of se the point the blows being thrown around was fairly severe well at least to her Ojiro in his great sage mode was mostly a precise fighter in comparison to the rest he was usually doing planning evading and parry strikes aimed his way before delivering a counter of his own, Kirishima was the living tank that was expected of him while used hard blocks and his hardening to muscle through attacks that came his way, while Kaminari was like the energy he expelled chaotic energy jumping from place to place using his bolt and speed to strike fast and hopefully hard, ultimately the three way battle had the victory be none other than Kirishima, his red riot: adaptable.
giving him the properties of rubber, allowing him to weather both physical and electrical attacks, but even despite that, for a moment it seemed that Ojiro was going to win. He seemed to accelerate much faster than before, catching both Kamianri and Kirhsima by surprise in one burst of an attack. But while he was successful in taking out Kaminari, Kirishima could still go on, but Ojiro was done after that, like it was his last breath, as he needed to settle down and start to control his breathing as his chest was expanding and compressing rapidly, but he said that he would be okay given a few minutes.
Jackie, Shoji, Koda, with Aki's assistance, and Sato got together to practice all of their styles revolving around very fast, rapid punches that bombarded the enemy. The monsters had diffused into the general area; the three brothers went to practice with their teachers, and Volten had practiced against Golden Ball, Mineta, and Tokoyami. Midoriya was called out by Bakugo. He wanted a full-fledged fight, and while he wasn't expecting to beat him at 100% just yet, he wanted to see how far he's gotten physically. He had gotten up there to a 30% level of power, which he didn't feel too bad given he didn't have any quirk physical enhancement, although he was enhanced in different ways now, he guessed. The two battled it out, and it became even around the 70% full cowling, Midoriya explained.
Which was a full on 40% more than it was previously during the war, he would have thought that it would have been better than that but he would take what he could get, for very brief moments in time he could rais that up to about 80% full cowling in his fuse state that Silver Chain has been helping him with teaching him how to at least minimize the damage to the point that he doesn't kill himself by mirroring the style of Bazuzu Explosive Fist it was a 90 second mode of extreme power and speed while greatly increased increasing his explosions damage with how condensed they were coming out but god damn did it hurt every time continually blowing himself up for such an increase didn't even seem worth it but he would get stronger from the pain he always did but it did secure him the win in those 90 seconds against Midoriya but he was tired out for the rest of the day but he still had a record of never losing to the nerd in a fight yet so he was happy about that even though he ignored the part of his mind that said that he was holding back.
After the groups had successfully finished getting through everything, Mina, Toru, Sero, and Kaminari pushed for atomic samurai to do some training of his own as they thought the man was likely be board just sitting around all the time and while he was he explained that no one there would be able to keep up with him making it practically pointless , even demonstrating against Momo super bot which even all of his three disciples together with mustachio failed to beat could not even touch the man as he effortlessly defended against it with just one hand a cut it to pieces, erecting the smaller mini-robot to the fray although atomic apologized for it none theless but Momo remarked that it wasn't a problem and she could just create another one for the machine which was good as the man actually wanted to ask her if he could take the machine from her to be used a training dummy for his students it would help out having a stop gap they need to surpass from before they reached his level and she was happy to oblige.
Now that was taken care of however the other teens still wanted to see the man fight someone so they chose the strongest people around that could somewhat keep up with him being both Silver Chain and saren but both admitted that while they could at least track him they would be no match for him if he spared but the teens weren't done they were adamant on making this challenging for the samurai no matter how skilled he was so they added a lot of handicaps to him first of which Toru took away his vision, the second thing they did was increase the weight on him by a whopping 30x times and they put them all in an enclosed light structure that Toru could shift and manipulate it around the trio and Sero would offer support of his own with razor shark tape that would attack the man from different angles, and midoriya would increase their speed with gear shift.
With all those caveats set and agreed upon it was time for the match to begin and it was definitely a showstopper to see, atomic samurai even without visio could seemingly sense the blades of his two oppented coming his way and swing with so fast that he was able to block both of them striking at different angles the sound blending together form the speed, he didn't move very often as he knew his opponents would need to come to him and whatever he was using to concentrate likely needed it so Toru took it upon herself to move for him shifting him around and elevating and lowering platforms or to make the man move himself taking the thing he was standing on rise in temperature or creating spike traps, although she didn't want to go to hard on the hero so she gave him ample time to feel the spikes forming and get out of dodge, Sero joined in from time to time navigating his tape through the place but given the speed the three were moving at he needed to be careful not to hit them as well which limited his wiggle room to when the other two fell back but he shredded them each time. The clanging of blades and even throwing knives were thrown, and each time atomic samurai deflected and parried each one, he never struck out before just staying on the defensive.
The man smiled as the battle went on before he finally struck out a singular slash that completely stopped his two opponents cold. Not only that, the wind blade completely bisected the light cage they found themselves in. As he hit the solid ground, the hero dashed forward quicker than either could react, striking each of them in the gut with the hilt of his sword, making both curl over and clutch at their stomachs and drop down. He remarked that he did get a good workout from that, and playing around with them was sort of fun. Saren only refers to the man as a monster, and Silver Chain remarked that all of the upper echelons of the S-class were as the two of them got up and bowed their heads to the master as he had his vision restored to him. He was fairly surprised by the girl's talents and thought that at her level she should be in S-class already, but Silver Chain simply shrugged and said that she was fine where she was.
Atomic Samurai looked toward the monster and remarked that he was a little better than Hirogiri and that he hadn't sparred with the man in a while, so he could just be misremembering. There was only one last thing that the teens wanted from the swordsman and teens mostly just the troublemakers who pressured Momo into creating artificial fruit and having each of them cut it quickly trying to recreate having something be cut and have it fall to pieces sometime later and despite the absurdity of the request, Atomic samurai laughed and went along with their little game it was the least he could do for the fun time and giving them a proper training dummy to play with so the three of them did so and recorded it, atomic samurai took the longest to fall apart after a sold 10 seconds of the thing remaining fully complete, the day was slowing coming down and everyone had bid their farewells.
The next day
Nightmare Day: 1A Couples
The day was special for the teens coming off a strenuous day, today would be the complete opposite of that for the couples around it was nightmare day which was essentially Halloween back in their world but just minus the candy the event was more just embracing the monster side of things and having spooky themes of course given the recent events they had thought the event would have been canceled but instead, it seemed to only be glorified there was even publishing books of the monsters that had been seen during the invasion and how to cosplay as them, it only served to remind the teens how weird this world in comparison to their own and how different the people reacted to things, or maybe it was just how they cope with it or just the unique psychology but likely a combination of the three.
Jackie had a brilliant idea of a place that she wanted to go, and through conversation, it eventually developed into a double date with Kaminari and Jiro, which then devolved into a party date as more and more of the couples learned of the event and wanted to go as well, barring Bakugo, who was coerced into going to this event.
This place that Jackie had them go to was special; however, it was a built-in cosplay dinner, and originally the 1A teens believed that this would be analog to their maid cafe back home, and this was the main source of pushback, at least from Jiro, but Jackie clarified that it wasn't like that at all unless they wanted it to be. The place had a variety of costumes to select from; naturally, given the day it was available, a majority of the selection was monster-themed, but it also had its fair share of heroes so that the attendees could go as well. Of course, with any costume, they had to go and get their measurements done and choose who they wanted to be.
Jackie, however, came up with another idea, and this time to get Bakugo more on board with it, as advised by Silver Chain, she formed it in the shape of a competition between the couples. The goal was to match themes with one another, or there was a secondary option to go in the opposite direction and try to mismatch as best they could. The only caveat was that the guys and the girls would have to guess what the other would wear, as a test for how well the couples actually knew each other.
Couple theme challenge:
Bakugo, silver chain: same; silver chains favor
Todoroki, Momo: opposite, Momo favor
Sero, Jackie: same, Sero favor
Midoriya, Uraraka: same, Midoriya favor
KaMinari, Jiro: same, Jiro favor
Tokoyami, Asui: opposite; Tokoyami favor
Kirishima, Mina: same, Kirishima favor
Ojiro, Toru: opposite; Ojiro favors
Bakugo wanted the additional challenge of guessing what Silver Chain would pick since she was good at figuring him out; he wanted to show that he was just as good with her. Given the relatively newness of their relationship and with both not having much affinity for costumes, Todoroki and Momo thought it would be their best chance of victory if they decided to just go the opposite of each other. Jackie ultimately won out over Sero in their discussion going over what they were going to do, and she remarked that it was easy since he was such a monster lover himself, which Sero nodded at as a clear hint of what they would be going for. Uraraka wanted Midoriya to just be himself and hopefully be on the same wavelength if she could guess him currently, and that it would work out just fine if he did that.
Kaminari and Jiro were the results of a literal toss of a coin, as the two bickerings couldn't decide on what they should do. Kaminari was confident he could guess correctly, but Jiro did not share the same confidence; she respected the toss, and Kaminari would guess what she would be going for. Tokoyami and Asui were in a similar boat to Todoroki and Momo, but they didn't share too many tastes, and Asui was more confident in choosing the opposite of what Tokoyami would wear instead of something that would match him.
Mina believed that Kirishima was going to be very easy to read when it came to this type of contest and instantly thought that going for his theme would be easy, so they did, but it was Toru that reminded her that it may not be so easy because the last time Kirishima had to dress up, he surprised all of them when he came as a little red riding hood, so he could be unpredictable when it came to his costume, and Mina was shocked as she remembered that day, but she was still confident in her choice either way. Toru had a similar unpredictable partner, as Ojiro was a bit more generalized than most of the others in most respects, but his fashion sense was the complete opposite of that, so she assumed that going with a similar theme was going to be hopeless and went with opposites, and she was going to go with something more laid-back and simple.
The guys and girls had entered separately, and all the guys and girls knew what their side picked, so there would be no chance that people could switch without others calling foul play. As the teens were leaving, they still didn't tell each other what they had selected, as it would be a fun surprise when they all got back together during the nighttime festivities.
The only hint that the girls got from any of the guys was the sounds of Bakugo laughing the entire rest of the time home the strange sight was mostly blinding seeing the normally aggressive and perpetually angry teen so joyful even Silver Chain remarked that it was rare to see him laugh so much from the time they have been together, Bakugo for his part only partially explained why he was in such a good mood after seeing the monster Todoroki decided to pick even suggesting that he and Momo were likely to win the competition by default unless Momo was just "freaky" for no reason and he couldn't think of much of anything that could be compared to what he chose that would make it relevant so tem being opposite was almost guaranteed no matter what she chose.
This surprised the teens even more than his laughter, as Bakugo admitting he would lose something, was just so out of character for him. Even Silver Chain thought it was suspect, but it came back when he guaranteed that he would be in second place and that even with a brief glimpse of the catalog they had for the women, he could tell what Silver Chain would pick, and the tall girl smirked at that and hoped that it was true.
The girls started murmuring to themselves about the word he used to describe it. "Freaky" was one way you could describe the monster Momo decided to pick to cosplay as well, but everyone knows Bakugo and Todoroki; it wasn't the same kind, or at least they imagined it to be. The last time Todoroki was made to dress up, he wore a Ribbit robot/monster suit from this anime he was watching, but Momo went with something so off the mark that even they were surprised by it. Luckily, goddess glasses wouldn't be there to see it, so it wouldn't be awkward for all of them. The restaurant experience, however, wasn't until the end of their nighttime excursion.
The day was still chalked full of other things that the group could do, which most importantly was a bunch of haunted houses that the teens explored, ranging from some lackluster experiences to some truly frightening ones, although none of them were able to scare the large ninja, Bakugo, or Tokoyami, although he had the different problem of trying to keep dark shadows under control and wraps while in the dead of night and the shadow quirk was at its most hyper. There was even a kite-riding simulator that tracked a similar path through S-city that the elder centipede had run through during the invasion.
The group had run into a couple of their friends who were also out and about during the night, including the three brothers, Volten, Koda, and Shoji, and even the mosquito girl, whom they were calling Astubu. Eventually, it was time for their dinner, and the group made their way over to D-City. They were all separated again to go and put on their costumes. The girls got to the table first and got everything adjusted; they asked for the guys to come out one at a time so that they could do a slow reveal of all the parties, the first of which was none other than Bakugo himself. The explosive teen seemed out of breath as he approached the table, whipping a stray tear from his face. He was having another laughing fit from what Todoroki was wearing, and he was adamant about keeping him last. He looked around at the girls and locked eyes with his girl, and he slammed a fist into his palm at him for being correct about her.
The two of them wore very similar costumes and technically it was the same costume that the tall ninja wore; they called it the standard "Neutrophil uniform", which only consisted of the color white on top of that they had his skin pale white match the same as the ninja the only difference being that while Bakugo held a knife holder on his right thigh while the girl one had a katana stowed away on her back, Bakugo smiled when he saw that it was his sword on her back but he wiped it away when the other girls called him out on it although they thought he was looking at something else which was her bust which was on very clear display nearly popping out the top of her uniform as the button up shirt top buttons were undone he sat next to her with an I told you so expression and the girl flashed him a brief smile and nod for him being able to guess correctly.
The next person out was none other than Midoriya, this came as no surprise that he chose a hero to dress up as, and just like in their world there was no other hero he would dress up as other than the number one hero and this was none other than blast and despite only having met the man once he was almost perfectly able to encapsulate the heroes uniform almost completely and while he wished he could get all the credit he actually had Kirishima and his new red riot: adaptable help in that regard allowing him to remember how the man looked with perfect clarity, but he didn't ramble for long as he took a glance at the girls and their costume first Momo's and then Silver Chains and before Bakugo could growl out a response Uraraka beat him to heavily coughing drawing her boyfriends attention as he felt weightless for a moment and his danger sense kicked in once more, he nervously chuckled while apologizing and looked at what Uraraka was wearing and to his surprise the girl was actually cosplaying as her teacher Tatsumaki along with wearing a wig that match the S-class hair style she also wore a similar dress and even floated around like the heroin using micromovements to go forwads and backward, the only thing keeping her apart was the lack of green outline that gave her powers and the rounder face and….curvier body it was a good fit Midoirya murmured in reply as the two sat down. So they also succeeded in the challenge.
The next of the guys to come out was Tokoyami. He had come out with a full-on vampire suit, fit with makeshift fangs on either side of his beak, and he didn't bother wearing his helmet this time around, given the day. Not that it was needed anymore since people have been starting to come around to him, and even more with the monster apologist resurgence happening lately, although their support had different meanings, which they would address by the end of the week.
His eyes locked onto Asui. She was wearing a surprising costume; it was similar to something that he would see in their world; it was a shrine maiden get-up; it was mostly sleeveless with extra long scarves on the end; it kept the red and white color scheme, but the skirt was dramatically short, coming stopping just near the thighs; and the top part was in two sections, instead of one, allowing for a slight boob window from the top; and if she raised her arms, it was fairly erotic. I had to admit that Tokoyami, especially as she wore the choker that he gave her, clarified that it wasn't her intention to be like that, but given the heat, she thought going with the "trimmed down" version was a good idea, but I guess she didn't get a good look at what it would be like.
There was some mild discussion on whether or not this was classified as passing the challenge, but overall they agreed that it satisfied it enough to classify it as opposite; a vampire and a priest were essentially in the same wheelhouse of opposing forces.
The next guy out was Kaminari, and this bumbling idiot had gotten things very, very wrong. He opted for some type of music monster, and he came out with a walking instrument, which was an electric guitar. Jiro just face-palmed as the creature that she dressed up as was a banshee, leaving the idiot equally stunned at how badly he messed it up. He quickly apologized for his blunder and thought he was being clever by going with something more music-related.
Jiro forgave him only for the simple fact that what he wore was pretty funny to look at. The next one up was Sero; he wore a costume in similarity to that of the deep sea king, complete with tiny quills on the side of his head, along with a padded muscle suit to bulk him up, and his signature is the heart-shaped nipple print. Jackie, for her part, went for a siren, the skirt she wore ending off in a somewhat long tail with fins on the end. It was reasonable to say that they did indeed match, both being underwater creatures, and Sero did mention that the sea folk also had sirens in their population. Although he never got to see them in person himself, he just heard them from the ship, even liking the Jiro tune ability she has now that he thinks back on it.
The next up was Kirishima, and Mina breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the redhead come in with a wrestling costume, a wrestling singlet, and an armband on each arm, along with a large tattoo on his abdomen. He also wore a large horn on his nose, while his body was clad in a dark gray color. The monster he was going off of was a rhino monster that was in S-city during the invasion. Mina, for her costume, looked like a demon, or more specifically, an oni of some kind. Her normally pink skin was covered in red, along with her horns, which were in their solid state, which made them larger and more pronounced.
They were also colored a similar color. She two wore a wrestling outfit; this one was in a tiger print, but along her arms were metallic studded armbands with large orange boots with spikes protruding from the top half of them. The only difference from the original she had was that instead of just walking around in a bikini, he basically traded the bottom half for a small skirt with the same color, but that still left very little to the imagination of the girl, which Kirishima took notice of but tried not to mention as he got closer to the girl.
The next up was Ojiro, and everyone was surprised with what the teen decided to wear. He was wrapped up from head to toe in hospital bandaging like he was a zombie; it reminded Momo of what she wore when she discovered Halloween for the first time, but he also wore a tattered red dress and slip-on shoes along with a long wig that showed disheveled and damaged long black hair. His tails, or in this case, tails, were both out and had an armored mesh to them that made them look like too-large blades that trailed behind him. In terms of his face, the only thing that could be seen was a singular left eye.
Everyone was fairly impressed by the display and didn't expect it from him, and it was the opposite of Toru, who had gone as a fairy with a simple sparkly dress and butterfly wings attached to her back, but something else seemed to be the matter. The two of them shared glances, and she whispered that they would talk about this as she gestured to his get-up later, before the final person.
Bakguo already started to chuckle to himself just imagining it, and all the girls were also eager to see what could cause such a reaction from the teen. When the stoic teen finally revealed himself to them, they could understand why, as most of the girls burst out in laughter at the ridiculous nature of Todroki's costume. Jackie correctly thought it was like a cheap, damaged, weirdly colored banana suit, but Todoroki explained that this was a bean sprout. Bakugo howled again with laughter and remarked that he couldn't have imagined losing to said creature, but Silver Chain remarked that he would have lost to such a creature and still might if it still existed, instantly bringing him back down to his disgruntled self again. Momo, despite everyone else laughing, didn't, and it was Todoroki's turn to be stunned as he looked at what she was wearing.
It was a very revealing latex suit, complete with a mouth guard and a long black whip. She explained that in the hero guides, one of the monsters of myth was DO-S, and it reminded her of midnight, so she decided to try to play as her. The only addition she made to the costume was the addition of a black cloak, just in case she was cold.
After the initial shock of Momo's costume dying down, all the couples got down to order something to eat and drink. Given it was a national day, it meant they had access to golden stars again, but only two this time around. While the couples waited for the food to arrive, their discussions didn't leave their costumes. However, as there was a rampant debate on who won among everyone, although the loser was apparent, the argument stemmed from everyone else. Bakugo was still fully willing to admit that Todoroki and Momo were the first places, and no one had any problems with that placement. Just looking at the two would give anyone whiplash between their styles.
The first eliminated and put on the second worst or sixth best, as Dark Shadow called it, was Tokoyami and Tsu, arguing that while technically opposites, Tsu was too generalized in comparison to the other couples and that a priest is more the opposite of a demon than a vampire, which she believed was fair enough for their placing. Neither member minded their placing; they were just enjoying the time with everyone, and now they could watch the other bicker.
With three of the seven down left and four others, it became a battle of what should be rated higher: those who chose the same versus those who chose the opposite, Bakugo argued that those who chose the same should be put higher due to it being a harder contest to make out, and while Ojiro and Toru disliked the ruling given that it contained them into being lower than they thought they should be overall, they were simply outvoted, leaving them in fifth.
This is when the argument truly heated up. As Bakugo demanded second place because he was adamant he deserved it, they and Silver Chain matched completely; it only made sense. Jackie counters by saying that, while true, she had watched a show that was based on the monsters they were playing and that the woman's white blood cells would much better go together with red blood cells as she is his protector, and the size difference would also be spot on. Bakugo silently yelled that it was irrelevant but did and didn't matter, but Midoriya countered that it would be the only way to consider who wins since they were going for some themes, not just looking the same.
Bakugo said screw it but still believed that even with that, he would win, and questioned the history that Tatsumaki and Blast have together other than being number 1 and 2 top heroes. Uraraka explained that Tatsumaki must have respect for Blast, as the only reason the girl was open to training her was because of him, and after having said that, they immediately lost the competition being put forth best. Now Sero and Jackie had to debate against Bakugo.
Silver Chain sat off on the side, just letting her boyfriend fight for her, only chiming in here and there if she had some insight to say or calming Bakugo down if he was getting too rowdy. Eventually, after Sero couldn't actually answer what purpose the sirens held in the sea folk society and his bluff that they were likely concubines to the king, Kaminari remarked that he told him that all of the sea folk were like clownfish and they could change genders, so technically, sirens didn't have anything to do with it, and Bakugo locked in with that information as shared, and after a lot of arguing, he finally got his second place, and despite that, he still considers it a victory.
The arguing had concluded about 5 minutes after the food had arrived, so Bakugo could finally chill and eat along with the rest of them, and the conversation slowly dialed back down into just casual chatter. Midoriya had to step away for a moment so that he could compete in the blast costume contest, where people vote on what they believe Flash looks like. Momo was surprised that people didn't know already, but Jackie explained that the man had just fallen off the earth two years ago and never returned, so his costume had also fallen off since even then he wasn't someone that came around or stayed very often for cameras. Jiro commented that it seemed like Midoriya was cheating in that case, but given that it was a popularity vote and no one knew what he had on was a real thing, it should still be, even though Kaminari explained that he was the one that prompted Midoriya into participating in it.
Midoriya won the contest swimmingly and received the entrees for free and two more gold stars for the table, which they all cheered at, and immediately got more drinks for the table. As the group cheered for success, it seemed like all of their energy was snapped away. Each one of them started to experience those visions again, and these were…spicy ones, at least for most of them. There was a notable pause and silence as everyone retracted their drinks. The couples, none of whom dared, looked at each other for fear of summoning such visions again, and everyone quickly switched to try and come up with something else to discuss, which was dessert. After that, it slowly got the mood back into gear, slowly but surely.
As the group was about to depart, Jackie asked Silver Chain to buy some more alcohol to go, and the girl obliged, much to her chagrin. The teens were confused about how that was possible, and Silver Chain explained that in D-city, where they were in a few others, you can buy alcohol when you are 17, but you can't consume it in public places and bars. Traditionally, of course, the national day lifted those restrictions as long as the person had gold stars. So with three bottles of alcohol in hand, the group made their way back to the teen's residence. Jackie and Mina both didn't want to have the night end just yet, and they could play some more games at home instead, like spin the bottle, truth or dare, and 21 questions. Everyone besides Bakugo and Jiro seemed excited about the endeavor, but they went along with it nonetheless.
The first thing the group did when they got back was drink more; Jackie wanted them "loose-lipped" for the games ahead. The first game that they played had 21 questions, and the first question asked was from Mina to Silver Chain.
"What's your name?" Mina asked a much simpler question than the group had imagined it to be, but they still went with it. Silver Chain didn't answer right away, taking a long look at Bakugo and making the explosive blonde raise her eyes in curiosity.
"The hell are you looking at me for?" Bakugo's rough voice responded.
"Well, given that you know my name and haven't told them yet and only say it privately, I assume you want to keep it to yourself. '' Silver Chain said simply that Bakugo's face was notably reddened but then scrunched up as three of the girls awed at the response.
"I didn't think Bakugo was one to be so sappy." Sero replied with a snicker.
"Shut it… I'm not... I just didn't get around to it. go ahead." Bakugo responded with a murmur.
"It's Sylvia," the ninja said simply, and everyone repeated it for a moment, getting the name on the tongue.
"That's a wonderful name, but in respect for Bakugo, can we call you Silvy?" Mina suggested.
"I don't remember saying I had a problem with you people saying her name." Bakugo remarked with a grumble. Sylvia chuckled and pecked his cheek, which would have somewhat brightened his mood if the Snickers hadn't reset it.
"That would be fine with me." Sylvia said, and everyone cheered by taking another drink. The group went around again, asking more questions. Given the numbers, they wanted everyone to have an equal amount of questions, so it was more like 28 questions instead. These questions ranged from soft questions like Mina's first one to inquisitive ones from Kaminari.
"So you guys were gone for two weeks; what did you do in that time?" Kaminari asked, his tone clear with suggestive activities, but Bakugo merely scoffed.
"It was just some challenges I had to get done before we could go out, that's all. Which I obviously beat." Bakugo explained,
"It was a near thing." Silvy was added, and Bakugo nearly spit out his drink.
" bullshit." bakguo said
"You gained a grading of 85 out of 100; for someone in my position, the required score was 80, but the compatibility rating was 88%, which is very high." Silver Chains said to try and placate him, but he only growled with anger, further downing a large part of his drink.
"You won; that's all that matters, Bakugo." Kirishima remarked
"Whatever," Bakugo remarked simply as he thought about their ending battle. So without that technicality, he definitely would have failed. He shook his head in anger before he felt the girl's hand rest on his shoulder and glide across his back to relax him. And of course, obvious pervy questions were going around this time, coming from Jackie.
"What cup size are those melons?"The girl chirped out so excitedly, but the suddenness of the question threw everyone off for a moment, and even Bakugo coughed as his drink went down the wrong hole, keeping him from cursing the girl out, but everyone was equally surprised by the quick response from the girl.
"J-cup," she remarked simply, and this got a whistle in response from the girl.
"I can't imagine the back pain you feel," Momo spoke out softly.
"Yes, I often trained with weighted clothing on my back to balance it out when I was younger. By this point, I hardly feel it at all, although I still prefer to fight with the mass-reducing clothing to alleviate issues with fighting with them." Silver Chain replied simply, then helped Bakugo come down from his coughing fit.
"I'm confused… Where are the melons? And cup? Isn't that an inefficient way to measure them? Won't pounds or grams be better?" Todoroki questioned, and this caused a large fit of laughter to spring out from everyone while people exclaimed that he couldn't be serious or just shocked at his blissfulness. After having both explained to him, he allowed the conversation to resume.
Although both Kaminari and Sero spoke, that was how he was not going to ask for Momo's like he did last time at the beach, and he responded that he'd learned his lesson from then and found it not to be appropriate, but this only served to allow them to prove that he indeed was thinking about it. But when he turned the question on, the two guys quickly quieted down as they looked at their partner's stern look.
"Ok, what was the most surprising thing you learned about Bakugo so far, Silvy?" Toru asked, and the large girl took a moment to ponder the question but answered fairly quickly still.
"The most surprising thing is that he could cook," Silvy remarked with a shrug.
"Right!" all the girls in the class said at the same time.
"The hell about that? It didn't seem like I couldn't cook!" Bakugo contested
"Well, your main goal and motive seemed to be centered around battle and winning at combat; at least that was what I initially assumed, but now I realize you just like to "win" at anything you set yourself to... It could be argued that you're borderline narcissistic." silvy said
"Borderline?" Jiro murmured
"So he's cooked for you? Was it also a challenge, trial, or whatever?" Jackie offered to keep the conversation moving along, and Silvy nodded.
"They're a bunch of stupid challenges in the mix there as well." Bakugo remarked
"Well, they are supposed to test the weaknesses of the suitor, but since someone said they have "zero weaknesses," I had to fill in some of the blanks myself. With possible situations, he would stifle, which is where most of his demerits came from." Silvy replied, which caused a couple of chuckles before Bakugo called out all the other guys, besides maybe Kirishima and Tokoyami, even thinking of actually passing at all.
The group soon switched up the game as the next bottle was empty and the last questions were stopped to truth or dare. After explaining the rules, Momo added the caveat that dares couldn't induce harm upon another and that overtly sensual actions upon someone else who is not one's partner would require the individual to drink more. Silver Chain correctly pointed out the hypocritical nature of that punishment, but Jackie, Toru, and Mina were quick to hush her and continue with the game.
The first one to go was Bakugo, and his challenge was for Todoroki. The half-teen chose to dare, as he didn't find himself interested in the other option. Bakugo laughed and handed him a dance in his costume to a familiar song he'd seen once in this world, and Jackie was thrilled about it as that was something she was going to dare him to do. The next up was Todoroki. He scanned around and shot the challenge back to Bakugo. Naturally, not being scared of anything,
Bakugo chose to dare, and after a moment of concentration, he too told Bakugo to dance for three minutes straight. This got everyone interested, as that was something that he wasn't capable of, and Bakugo took the hit for taking a drink instead of embarrassing himself like an idiot. But what truly added insult to injury was that Silver Chain had a video of him dancing from one of his challenges he had to do with her, and after failing to steal the girl's phone away, he had to let them see that travesty of a "challenge."
There were a few more challenges, and here and there, a few others drank as well instead of answering or doing the challenge, until it got to Jiro, who asked Bakugo, and he chose the truth.
"OK, so what did you mean by me being a good-wing woman? I don't remember doing anything for you two." Jiro questioned, and for that, both Silvy and Bakugo shared a look at each other. Bakugo was about to reach for a drink, but Silvy stopped and whispered something in his ear, and Bakugo nodded and retracted his hand.
"You unknowingly did. When you idiots sang after killing that huge centipede, you could say it affected both of us. We both had secrets that we wanted to share, and that stunt sped it along. not to go into too much detail about it, but let's just say you allowed me to stop this one from making a very dumb decision, which allowed me to go out with her in the first place.'' Bakugo remarked simply, and Silvy confirmed with a nod. There was a brief silence, and then a wave of awws was only countered by Kaminari, who remarked that it was his plan, but Jiro poked him and remarked that it was her power, so she should get the credit. The topic of the two didn't cease there, as Bakugo was again challenged by Toru, this time with another truth, as everyone wanted him to stop choosing to dare so much.
"Oh, what do you like about Silvy the most, Bakugo?"
"And it can't be her figure," Jackie added.
"And if I may, not my strength either." Silvy also added, and that got Bakugo's attention as he let out a snarl before replying.
"Fine then… Your eyes…your eyes are very nice.'' Bakugo responded simply and cringed when the other girls awwed at that.
Mina swapped it around to challenge Midoriya, knowing the girl went with the safer option of truth.
"Did you have a superhero crush when growing up?" Midoriya shook his head.
"No, no one in the way that you're probably envisioning it. I am an all-might fan through and through." Midoriya responded confidently, and Mina booed at the lame response. Next, the challenge was for Tokoyami from Uraraka; he chose to dare.
"Well, I dare you to kiss Tsu right now." Uraraka said suddenly, and her cheeks flushed. The couple looked at each other for a moment, and there was a pause. Tokoyami wanted to reach for a drink, but a dark shadow held his arms to his sides from under his cape, "forcing" him to do the challenge like he didn't already want to, but as the two went for it,
Each of them had a separate idea of what type of kiss it would be as Tokoyami opened his beak and Tsu simply leaned forward, making the scene look comical as Tokoyami looked like a seagull trying to eat Tsu's head. Seeing the blunder, the two stopped and quickly looked away as the others laughed at their expense. The two got on the same wavelength, and TSU put a peck on his beak before both pulled away quickly.
"Ooh, it seemed like there was a spicier kiss that Tokoyami wanted to go for." Toru remarked curiously.
"That was just because I'm tipsy." Tokoyami defended weakly.
"Naw, you guys are tonguing around," Kaminari said with a snicker, making both of them flush in embarrassment even with the support of Sero, Mina, Toru, and Jackie. The next juicy challenge was from Tokoyami to Uraraka. The girl knew she wanted a get-back, so she chose the truth, but that didn't save her, as she was doomed if she didn't.
"What was the vision you saw at the restaurant? Ribbit." all the girls around and started staring intently. The visions they had been getting recently had been mostly chalked up to maybe being the separate dimensions or timeliness or just hellacity conjured by god they didn't know, but the theme of this recent one was definitely of the festival from before and things that happened around it. If Uraraka decided to drink, then the gossip girls would go wild and speculate about what she was hiding, so she just decided to be forthcoming.
"Umm, it was me and Midoriya doing... a makeout session, really... a really long and passionate one." Uraraka mumbled, making her and Midoriya blush profusely. The forwardness caused a flush of similar questions being asked to the other couples, but the most interesting was Todoroki.
"Well … I don't quite remember it too well, but I do remember freezing Momo." Todoroki explained, causing everyone to look to Momo for answers, and the girl relented.
"It seemed as though I was coming on to him quite strongly, even suggesting we, uh, do explicit things" Momo remarked bashfully, looking away, causing everyone to hmm in thought.
The next person was Jackie, and she challenged Mina. The pink girl chose to dare; however, it seemed to be a setup of some kind, as the "dare" was that whatever truth or dare she chose for someone, she would have to do herself, and when it came down to getting to the girl's turn, she had challenges.
After a somewhat lengthy deliberation on what the show should do, Tsu ultimately decided to do a dare, as she didn't like the thought of sharing her vision experience if it came down to it. Mina didn't say her dare out loud but demonstrated it going off of Jackie's dare as she very sensually ran a long lick up the side of Kirishima's neck and into his ear before withdrawing with a large smile.
Kirishima was completely frozen by the sensual act, and everyone looked to Tsu to see what she would do. She was going to reach for a drink, but hearing the sounds of a dark shadow instigate and whisper that Eris would do it and fake croak like a frog, Tsu changed her mind and was going to do it, and everyone cheered and watched closely.
Tsu's long tongue went slowly up the dark teen's neck and stopped as it hit the feathers and stopped but Jackie mentioned the ear-thing as well before catching herself and apologizing if Tokoyami didn't have ears but through his ruffled feathers and dark shadows laughter, the shadow creature said that he does have them, as he revealed it to the audience pushing his feathers away allowing them to see a large hole on the side of his head where his ear should be, everyone gave murmurs of intrigue before looking back at tsu to complete her dare and while blushing she wasted no time and extended her tongue and reached down and inside, Tokoyami noticeably flinched but assures his girlfriend that it didn't hurt, it was just a weird experience and after finding the bottom she quickly withdrew and sat back down with a massive flush on her face.
Jackie then challenges Jiro, and despite her wanting to say the truth, similar to Bakugo, she has to do dare now and then, so unfortunately, she has to do hers, but she is surprised when all she has to do is sing while using her tune ability, but having known the girl for this amount of time, she knew that it wasn't going to be just that simple. especially as she saw the song she was to be singing along with; maybe it was because of the drinks, but she accepted the dare, and who knows, maybe Bakugo and Silver Chain were drunk enough to dance to, and she couldn't lie, having Momo dance to this song while in that costume did entice her just a bit, and Kaminari must have picked up on her thoughts as he just gave her a smug grin and whispered to her the same thoughts she was thinking, and while what he said was right, it still didn't stop him from getting poked in the face, causing him to reel back while she started with the song.
She could see that it started to have an immediate effect as multiple of the couples got up and started to dance, all of them swaying their bodies to and fro, many of them lacking rhythm of pace but dancing sensually with their partner, the three exceptions being Tokoyami, who was shaken from his trance by a dark shadow, Bakugo, and Kaminari, who was still recovering from the hit she gave him, which allowed him to record what the others were doing.
She was surprised that Silver Chain was in the trance, but she probably allowed it to happen, and Bakugo was enjoying it as she was essentially giving him a lap dance. As the song died down and she stopped, the others quickly got a hold of themselves, and Kaminari was quick to show them the recording of what was happening, causing another breath of silence before the games picked up again.
The next person on the target list was Todoroki. Jackie challenged him, and just like the others, he had to choose true due to doing a dare most of the time during the game, Momo breathed a sigh of relief as it would mean she was safe for the moment.
"Ok, you are a bit... inexperienced. It seems about a lot of things, so what's the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?" Jackie questioned, and people were interested in that. Although they couldn't think of something too embarrassing for the half-teen, no one was prepared for what the boy had said.
"It's more awkward than embarrassing, but I guess it would have been when I attempted to sleep with Midoriya," Todoroki remarked simply, and there was a notable silence that rang out amongst everyone before there was an eruption between all of the girls, all collectively screaming.
"But Todoroki was confused, so he added more "context" to hopefully smooth out the situation.
"Well, I didn't want to trouble Momo again, but I didn't want to draw so much attention to her, so I went to Midoriya. Bakugo was closer, but I was certain if I asked him, he would have punched me in the face." Todoroki
"You're damn right. I would have!" Bakugo yelled out in confirmation.
Todoroki responded by simply pointing at Bakugo. Momo's face of shock turned to one of realization and sudden relief, although her face was still flush.
"Oh, he means when he was still under the effect of the monster's attack and he was having trouble regulating his body temperature. So he asked Midoriya to help him." Momo explained, and everyone started coming down from that, and Uraraka stopped laughing while "playfully" pulling on Midoriya's cheek.
"You need to mind your phrasing, Todoroki." Midoriya complained as he rubbed his bruised cheek.
"I guess, but what did I say that was misleading? What did you all think I meant?" Todoroki questioned
"We thought you meant you tried to have sex with Midoriya, dude." Sero remarked with a playful laugh. Todoroki was completely confused and quickly apologized for what he said, but everyone assured him it was okay. It did spiral the conversation into one of which of the guys they would find to be bisexuals and who would be the best couples, which, given none of the present guys, spiraled into what if the guys got turned into girls and how they looked and who would be the cutest, and Toru even suggested why to imagine it.
when they could make it happen with Tiffany out there, but Bakugo yelled out his displeasure at the very idea of it happening.
The others whispered among themselves, and Silver Chain stopped Bakugo from leaping across the table at them for even thinking of conspiring for it. Speaking of her and Bakugo, when it came back around to her turn, she challenged Bakugo, and he told the truth, but he didn't expect her to ask him the same question, which was to Midoriya about a heroin crush when she was growing up.
"Don't tell me you think that I'm getting bored of you already." Bakugo taunted, but Silver Chain simply shook her head.
"No, but it would be good to know what I compared to; besides, it seems like your friends are especially interested." The girl remarked as she gestured to the rest of the table, and indeed, they were all waiting with bated breaths. Bakguo rolled his eyes but spoke anyway; if she wanted to know, then fine.
"There was... it was Mirko, the rabbit hero." Bakugo spoke and there was a long pause as everyone let that sink in, the first one that had reacted was Midoriya who again materialized a journal out of thin air and started scribbling something in his journal while mumbling to himself but before he could comment on that however it seemed that all the other brains started to function again like they just finished a reboot and all the noise started to blend quickly after that, that Bakugo forgot all about his rival scribblings, after the excitement finally wore done the general consistent was that it made perfect sense and it would also explain "so much." but none of the gossipers bothered explaining that comment to him because he sure as shit didn't get it.
The group played some more, everyone getting their small embarrassing moments. The silver-changed truth question was asking what she liked about Bakugo, which she explained was his dedication and drive. A challenge for Ojiro, truth be told, was what he would do if he considered Toru ugly upon her reveal. The boy simply shrugged his shoulders and replied that he never expected to see her at all, so it wouldn't have mattered to him much and it wouldn't change her character, which is what he liked about her to begin with. Kaminari's truth question was boobs or buts, but he countered and said thighs, which Toru thought was just a clever save. Sero rebuffed her and said that he may be telling the truth if she saw them at the festival; yeah, it was likely causing Jiro to blush and ask how they saw that, and Jackie confirmed that they did a flyover just to snoop on them. Bakugo dared to "motorboat" Silvy, and that was a drinking moment.
There had been a few more dares, ranging from a strenuous activity like Kirishima daring Kaminari to plank for five minutes to kissing or touching each other, but the final truth was a challenge to Bakugo from Todoroki. The teen question was weird initially, asking what he cooked for Silvy for the challenge, but the answer brought the spice as Bakugo revealed that it was indeed his sister's Sichuan mapo tofu recipe, earning even more gasps of shock and piling on Bakugo, which Bakugo just drunk to ignore wholeheartedly and After the final drink was done, it spelled the end of the game, and therefore the night ended as the group decided it was getting late, being about 4 a.m., but there was another surprise as Jackie wanted to stay the night even though she had bought a pair of spare clothes.
"Well, I guess we can make some accommodations in the living room to account for all of us; are you staying too secluded?" Momo asked, and she looked towards Bakugo.
"You don't need my approval for everything; do what you like." Bakugo responded roughly.
"Then I shall; I'll go retrieve some clothes overnight," Silvy said before taking her leave.
"Wait, what do you mean about the living room? Why can't we just stay in each other's rooms?" Jackie complained
"Because it is improper for a man and a woman to sleep in the same bed if they're not married." Momo explained.
"Oh, come on, Momo, didn't you already sleep in a bed with Todoroki? Matter of fact, who here shared a bed with their significant other?" Toru also said, and three hands went up, which was soon followed by Momo herself.
"Aww, I feel cheated out now. Kirishima, do you want to come to sleep in my room?" Mina complained before asking.
"Yeah, sure…I guess." Kirishima said before calming down, thinking he sounded a bit too enthusiastic.
"We don't have to." Tokoyami remarked simply.
"You don't want to. Ribbit?" Tsu remarked, almost sounding like she was pouting. .
"No, Nix, I do, if you'd like. It's just a dark shadow that could be a bit troublesome." Tokoyami quickly replied.
"Hey, don't make me go on an entire monologue about all your thoughts during this night." dark shadow threatened.
"I think it would be alright; we should at least try it, ribbit." Tsu remarked, and Tokoyami nodded.
"See, everyone, wants to, and I think your boyfriend would want to as well after seeing you in that get-up all day~" Jackie said while this did get a blush from the teen, everyone expected him to deny such claims, but they were pleasantly surprised when he was somewhat on their side.
"Well, I don't know about the costume bit, but... I wouldn't mind sharing a bed. It felt nice last time, but if you don't want to, then that's ok too." The way his tone sounded was manipulative, but everyone was sure he didn't mean to be like that. It was probably from the drinks. But that seemed to be the final push she needed before the vice president finally cracked.
"Alright… but I want everyone to drink at least two bottles of water before you go to bed." Momo said, and while the guys simply nodded, the girls answered with multiple versions of Yes, Mom.
.
Uraraka and Midoriya
Midoriya had gotten ready and left for Uraraka's room. Despite having slept together a couple of times, he still felt sort of nervous about the whole thing, or maybe it was more that he was self-conscious, but that flew out of his head when he witnessed what Uraraka was wearing. When she opened the door, it was the same clothes that he saw in their vision. It was just a nightgown that was nearly see-through, with her undergarments underneath. The heat immediately rose to his cheeks, and he was tempted to look away from her, but she stayed his head and led him into her room. Going by the kiss she shared with him, she was interested in recreating what they saw in those visions right then, and Midoriya sure wasn't one to complain about that.
Todoroki and Momo
Todoroki was somewhat surprised that when he went into Momo's room, her bed was separated into two halves, leading him to slightly pout. He asked her if their time from before felt that wrong for her, but Momo quickly ensured him that it wasn't and that the separation was just a precaution, and Todoroki, likely feeling bold, remarked that he would like to hold her again just like they did, so the separation wouldn't be needed if it was for his sake. Momo nodded and removed it, and just like last time, she snuggled into Todoroki's arms and was immediately comforted as he wrapped his cold side around her, which was countered by his hot side over her other. The two peacefully went off to sleep just like before, or even better now that they were a couple and didn't have to tiptoe around it.
Tokoyami and Asui
Tokoyami was currently contemplating his thoughts as he stepped into his room.
"You know, I've never even heard you poetically think of masturbation as "shedding the carnal desires of the flesh" before; that's impressive even for you," a dark shadow remarked simply.
"I don't need you to tell me my thoughts unless you have some advice to share." Tokoyami remarked.
"Well, I don't think you should do it." Dark Shadow replied immediately.
"I don't want to creep Nix out with my urges." Tokoyami remarked that the shadow creature laughed.
"I don't think she would be creeped out; you're a teenage boy and a girl that like each other sharing a bed. It should be expected honestly, but more importantly~...what if she wants to do something and you can't perform? Won't she be disappointed at least and offended at worst?" Dark Shadow replied with a resigned grin.
"Shut up; she wouldn't be thinking of things like that." Tokoyami assured his quirk.
"You say that, but I can feel your mind racing with possibilities and situations, and you're not thinking about getting off anymore," a dark shadow remarks with a laugh as his partner goes into the showers, which ferments his insinuation.
"I just don't want to keep her waiting." Tokoyami countered as he stepped into the shower and really washed himself all over, making sure to not leave anything unclean along with brushing his teeth and using mouthwash, and off he went towards the girl's room.
He knocked tentatively on the door, and after a couple of minutes, the door finally opened, he smirked at how cute Tsu looked in her froggy-styled nighty. The two embraced in a short hug in the doorway before the girl allowed him inside and gestured him over to the bed, not without Tsu's fist giving him a kiss that he so "obviously" wanted from before, and if he were to be an honest man, well, he didn't have to be as dark as a shadow emerged and poked fun at how much he really wanted it.
They made out for a couple of minutes before pulling away and getting into bed. Tsu wanted to be little Spoon, and Tokoyami was happy to oblige her, but he allowed her to dictate where his hands would lay around her. It seemed both of them were too flustered to really get in the mood to sleep, even despite the events of the night. So idle chatter allowed them to pass the time.
"Nix… Is this... am I doing a good job being a boyfriend?" Tokoyami asked, suddenly surprising the girl for a moment with the seriousness of the question. She turned her head to look at him.
"I think you're doing a fine job, Ribbit. You don't?" Asui asked, placing a hand on top of his.
"I'm trying my best, but I fear, due to my inexperience and my personality, that maybe I'm doing something wrong." Tokoyami said
"And I keep telling him he's doing fine and he's overthinking things," a dark shadow remarked, earning a somewhat glare from Tokoyami, which softened immediately as he turned his attention back to Asui.
"I don't know too much about relationships myself, but dark shadow is right, ribbit... You shouldn't get caught up in your own head. If I'm being honest, when I first found out you liked me, I didn't think we would work out very well together, but I have been having fun with you so far, and the way you treat Sigismund is very charming. I have a few younger siblings myself, and finding a guy who can treat, play, and get along with them is a very redeeming quality for me, we aren't so different after all, so I'm enjoying my time with you, fumi honest." Asui remarked before doing a long peck on the beak.
"Ahh, you don't know how relieved he is to hear you say that!" A dark shadow trilled from the corner before letting out a large yawn.
"Ah, I guess it is getting late or early; we should really get to bed." Tokoyami remarked as he looked at the dark shadow himself, his eyes blinking heavily like it was trying to force themselves to stay awake.
"Ribbit right." Tsu replied simply before she turned back around and nuzzled herself further into him, Tokoyami did something that surprised her when he ran his beak through her hair. Was he preening her? He apologized for doing so so rapidly once he noticed the girl freeze up in his arms, but dark shadow wasn't wrong when about him being very happy, so he wanted to show it. Tsu chuckled but replied that it was ok and that it felt relaxing, so he continued, and soon after they both fell asleep.
Kaminari and Jiro
Jiro reluctantly opened her door as the electric idiot was standing in the doorway with a stupid big smile on his face, despite being in each other's rooms. Neither of them had slept together yet so this would be the first time and even with the alcohol coursing through her system she made sure to inform the boy that they wouldn't be doing anything and that they were just going to sleep Kaminari agreed and was cool with that however one thing still lead to another after Kaminari offered to give the girl a massage for being the "best girlfriend ever" and she allowed him confident that he likely didn't know what he was doing even making a bet that if he did a good job then she would reward him and Kaminari took that to heart as he commenced in earnest, and the girl didn't expect for him to use his quirk for this massage she felt tiny shocks glance and seemingly dance across her body and she would be lying if she said it did not feel incredibly nice, by the time he was through she was incredibly relaxed and a little heated.
Kaminari for his part was incredibly smug about it no doubt probably practicing this for a while now for a moment like this but she didn't mind it at that moment as she gave him his reward which was a big sloppy kiss tackling him in the process, Kaminari went down like a sack of brick and let her dictate the pace and what she was willing to let him do and touch when she brought his hand up to her breast he took that as consent for him to feel her there and he especially liked how she gyrated on top of them and her earphone jacks send gentle vibrations through his head only added to all of the sensations but after five minutes of that Jiro pulled back, Jiro was out of breath but she still found the time to chuckle at Kaminari's dumb and face before poking him in the nose with her earphone jack and laying down beside him.
"Good night, jammy way." Jiro said
"Yee" Kaminari replied
Kirishima and Mina
Kirishima was pulled along by Mina as the groups left. They had first stopped by his room to get him some clothes, and then he was hurried off to the girl's room like there was a fire or timer for them. He didn't know how to take it at first, but when the girl asked if he wanted to shower together,
"That's a bit sudden." Kirishima said
"Well, we already saw each other naked, and I'm pretty sure that you have that in your mind rent-free. If not, I'm sure the vision we had is definitely in there." Mina complained, and Kirishima's face noticeably reddened, but he quickly shook his head.
"I can't recall it even with red riot: adaptable, and the whole naked thing, I blurred it out at least somewhat." Kirishima, Mina, chuckled to herself.
"So you admit you tried to get a hold of them, huh? Naughty naughty~" Mina remarked, simply causing Kirishima to blush even more.
"I can't blame you, though. There was some spicy stuff there. I'm not saying we have to do that, but showering together shouldn't be a problem. Mina laughed a bit awkwardly, rubbing a single hand through her hair.
"Yeah, sure… I don't mind if you don't." Kirishima agreed
The two of them got into the shower and washed each other off, Mina was flaunting herself off to him to get him all riled up and it was working when she offered that he didn't have to stare and he could touch hero he didn't hesitate to but he touched a placed that she wasn't expecting how low the boy touched when he felt up her legs instead of her ass that she thought he was looking at, he admired her tone and definition, he always felt the impact of her kicks when training but feeling it was a different experience.
This wasn't to say that he didn't take a liking to her butt either he definitely gave it a few squeezes but he mostly focused on her legs, once he had his fun it was Mina's turn and she did the same as him mostly focusing on the least place he expects like his chest and toned chest and chiseled abs she did chuckle somewhat as she went lower not at his size he was more than respectable in that area but the pubic hair down their still being black while his hair was now red would seem hard to explain to anyone that wasn't already in the know but Kirishima wanted to keep it like that from the appointment they went to so she guessed it would just be a story he could always tell, she copped a few feels before retreating and the both of them wince off and head to a bed of course not without a couple of make out sessions between each other.
Toru and Ojiro
Ojiro was getting ready to get into the shower when he heard a knock on the door. He opened it and was surprised when Toru was there, invisible. She had her clothes in her hands, however, which suggested to him that she might be naked again or that she was playing a prank on him, which could be the case, but he was too bashful to check for himself. But he was shocked when the girl suggested that they take a shower together and argued that they saw each other naked, so there should be no problems with it, and Ojiro may have, due to some liquid courage and his vision, decided to take the girl up on her offer, although he was still a bit skittish about it.
As the two got in the shower and started to clean up, to help Ojiro relax more about the situation, she told him that she wouldn't decloak herself, but in return, she would wash his back, and he again allowed it, and even when the girl got adventurous and started to wash his chest, he still felt comfortable enough, although he did get jumped when he felt the girl press herself against his back while doing so, but when she went to go lower down the body, he finally had enough and stopped her, and he could do that part of himself.
Toru allowed it and mocked that she didn't expect him to be so modest and that "normal" guys would have probably leaped at the chance. for a girl to touch them, but Ojiro just laughed it off as a compliment for not being normal. Toru however did have the boy wash he in return and of course, she allowed him to see her given that he would need to wash her "properly" of course and through his blushing and unsteady hands he did so washing her back but when the girl gesture to her front just like she did him, he had to have her guide him through it and her making exaggerated moaning sounds didn't make the situation any better as he washed over her chest but eventually he got through even though he felt like his heart was going to explode from his chest and the two of them quickly dried off and went to his bed, which he got the larger size for given they had slept together a couple of other times, but despite the situation Toru still had something to talk to him about.
"So now we can talk about how you decided to dress up as the monster that killed your master's former apprentice like a week ago? I mean, I know there is a saying, "Do what the natives do, but that's kind of in poor taste, don't you think?" Toru asked
"We don't know if he's dead." Ojiro just replied, and Toru huffed at that.
"Come on now. I know you like Bang, but I don't think you should indulge him. We both saw how much blood there was; no one could survive that. Even if he did, the monsters would have probably dragged him off to eat him. Jiro told me that they love the taste of humans."Toru remarked, and Ojiro let out a wheezing breath and murmured something that she couldn't hear.
"Yeah, maybe you're right, I guess." Ojiro remarked before twisting, and a pop was heard.
"And that's another thing; you have a bunch of bruises again. I know that you said you found a new teacher, but are they treating you well, and why won't you tell me who it is or at least the style?" Toru questioned.
"I'm doing fine; trust me, they're just a bit rougher than Bang classes is all; I don't even know the style myself. It didn't show up in that book. It's something completely new, but it's powerful, and I want to learn it." Ojiro replied, wrapping the girl up in a hug.
"Is this still about you not feeling like enough? You know that. You're plenty strong already and pretty big, where guys count as well."Toru added on playfully, and Ojiro flushed.
"It's not honest; I'm just trying to be the best that I can be before we go back." And um, thanks, I guess." Ojiro remarked as he kissed her on what he thought was the side of the face but turned out to be the side of her eye, causing the girl to laugh before the two snuggled in together.
Bakugo, Sylvia
This would mark the third time that he and Sylvia would be sharing a bed, but things weren't any less awkward. Bakugo again wanted her to take the little spoon this time around; she had been very stiff the last time he did it, and he wanted to ensure her that what he was doing wasn't a trap of some kind, and his bed was smaller than the one at her clan's place, so he would be further thrust into her cleavage than before, just to stop himself from dropping off the bed. Sylvia, for her part, didn't hesitate this time around and simply nodded and got in bed, and Bakugo got in behind her, wrapping his hand around her, being careful to wrap around her stomach to just below her chest.
"Hey, was it true that I only barely passed?" Bakugo asked
"Yes, but it is still noteworthy; rarely, anyone passes at all; you are the first in the last four years to court someone of my status." Silver Chain remarked
"I see... so if I failed, then would that just be it?" Bakugo asked a bit hesitantly; there was a pause. and soon enough, the girl shifted around to look at him directly.
"Sometimes, those in the clan would choose love and would still want to go off with their suitor." Sylvia remarked.
"And would you have done that for me?" Bakugo asked a bit too shyly for his liking, but the next kiss stole all of his thoughts away, this one even including his tongue, and he allowed her to guide him through it. Such a pleasant feeling sprung up inside of him, along with the soft cushion on his front. The girl pulled back, and he already missed her lips on his.
"Perhaps I would have... but speaking of such things, I do have a question to ask you." Sylvia asked
"Go ahead, ask away." Bakugo responded immediately.
"I'm happy that you all are staying longer, but that just brought back the memory of losing you and slipping back into my old plan of action... so I was wondering if I could accompany you back to your world." Sylvia said, and Bakugo froze up for a moment.
"But what about your clan? Won't they miss you and you, them? That's a one-way trip."Bakugo questioned
"I understand, and traditionally, this is the case already: when a suitor passes the trial, the clan members leave the clan to start a family; they rarely return." Sylvia said.
"But what if we end up not working out? You would have left your entire world behind for nothing." Bakugo said, and he hated to admit such a thing, but it was something he wanted to hear her response to. The girl chuckled for a moment, running her hand along his cheek.
"I didn't think you were one for failure, Katsuki. We have an 88% compatible rating. I doubt 12% of failure would come to fruition, but more than that, I think it would be good for me. I told you before that I only lived life for revenge, and without that, I would feel lost. Going into a new world seems like the perfect new start. Don't you agree?" Sylvia asked, and Bakugo nodded.
"What about the shadow ring? What will happen to her?" Bakugo asked curiously.
"She is likely trying to graduate, given that a new spot will be available in my absence. Before one could join the upper echelon or even undergo the augmentation process, we needed to have defeated a demon-level threat by ourselves with our less impressive weaponry. It's the reason she was so adamant about fighting the monster the other day." Sylvia explained, and again, Bakugo nodded before smiling.
"Well, I'm sure if Blast is letting those monsters tag along with us, then you can come along as well." Bakugo remarked with an almost eager voice. The two shared another kiss before Silvy turned back around and got comfortable. She even brought Bakugo's hands up towards her chest and suggested that they could go further if he would like. Bakugo had been resistant up until now to not indulge himself with his girlfriend's body, but since she was offering, he definitely took the time to fondle and feel them giving light squeezes here, and Silver Chain returned the favor, caressing over his bulge in his shorts, but he stopped short of doing anything else and returned his hands to the girl's stomach, only stating that before they go that far, he would like for the girl to meet his parents first. She nodded, and the two of them drifted off into sleep soon after.
Sero and Jackie
When the two of them were alone, Jackie and Sero stepped separately into the shower, with the girl allowing him to go first before she took it next. Upon exiting, the girl had asked him to pick a number between one and four, and he chose three. The only thing the girl said next was third base, and Sero was in for a wild night.
The next day
A mock battle: Fubuki, Lily, Tatsumaki, Midoriya, and Uraraka
Uraraka was somewhat surprised to find out that she was thrust into an argument between Tatsumaki and her sister. The argument was not only being done to her new placement but also to her in the fact that she was barring her sister and, by extension, the rest of her group from participating in the counter-offensive against the monster association. The two bickering sisters eventually came to a head and suddenly she was thrust into a fight against Lily, she had taken her spot in the ranking, and fubuki accused tatsumaki of having something to do with that tatsumaki rightfully said that Uraraka had earned that rank on her own and that she was just a better teacher than she was so, of course, her sister couldn't take that completely lying down and struck up a deal with her overbearing sibling it was a competition between the two of them and if lily won then she would be allowed to participate in the raid against the monster association and if she won then she would stay home and listen to her like a "good little sister should" she also had another caveat of that she would get rid of her group but even for Uraraka that was going a bit too far and she wouldn't agree to fight under those terms just to be in fair to them.
Tatsumaki huffed at that but reluctantly agreed she had demanded her to call Midoriya for some reason and she was adamant in calling him so she did soon after he connected tatsumaki flied off at a blinding pace, Uraraka was just left confused but fubuki filled her in that, there had been rumors about her do to the two of them and their outfits the other day given you all proximity and having met blast some have taken you two dressing up like them and being together that tatsumaki and blast may be romantically involved and of course.
She was not very happy about that so the only thing Uraraka could say to her boyfriend at that moment was that she was sorry and before he could respond tatsumaki had found him going by the sound of his surprise gasp and the girl's voice telling him off in the background a minute later they were back and Midoriya was rubbed roughly through the ground but he was in his 100% at the moment so it didn't affect him too much but she kept him in her clutches to offer her some "motivation" for her to try her hardest and to not go easy on lily but Uraraka wouldn't have thought of doing that in the first place but Tatsumaki wanted to ensure that she didn't as she gestured for them to go off into the fight.
her new, even heavier spirals, each weighing about 60 tons, she believed that she should be able to handle it despite being two years younger than herself. She was still well on her way into B-class and was scouted by Fubuki for her talent, which may not mean much to someone like Tatsumaki, but to her that meant something, and she was fighting for someone she inspired, so she wasn't going to be holding back, so she wouldn't disrespect that by holding back herself.
Tatsumaki had flown them off to their island off the coast of X-city, and there the battle would commence as both sisters lifted several large boulders before pulverizing them in mid-air until the last one remained, and when that one was to destroy the match, Lily wasted no time, designing forwards towards Uraraka with incredible speed. There were no pitfalls or traps that usually dotted the landscape, which is now just clear, so no one could call foul.
Lily's charge while fast wasn't too quick for her to react to and react she did as she threw a single spiral out at the girl but the attack was quickly sidestepped by her opponent in question she raised her staff high up into the air to swing downwards over top of Uraraka's head but the attack was interrupted when suddenly the spiral that she had thrown previously came back and hit the girl in the back a combination of her reeling it in and her gravitic attraction increasing the speed and force but despite the initial gasp of pain and surprise the girl continued to attempt to follow through with her attack swinging the staff down, Uraraka brought another spiral up to block the attack which it did but she was still stuck on the helmeted head as the staff separated and the top bent down over the spiral and struck her.
Lily continued with her assault, wrapping the three-sided staff around her hand, but Uraraka wasn't going to just sit there and let her do it, as she used the spirals on her other hand to sweep the girl's legs from under her, given the lock on her other hand. Uraraka was also threatened to go down, but she twisted her wrist and touched Lily's wrist with her pads, lightening the girl, so when the sweep came, she didn't fall towards the ground but instead just began to spin in a circle while in mid-air.
The locked three-sided staff on her wrist twisted as well, but the padding on her arm protected her from most of the damage that would have been done. The girl spinning around was wide open to Uraraka's next shot as she punched a spiral into her, sending her careening back, but she took her staff with her, reconnecting it and sticking it back into the ground to stop her from tumbling off.
The girl took a moment to recover from the hit, breathing heavily as she sucked in a breath and stood up from the heavy hit. She had to watch herself with no gravity effect on herself, but she could only stare in shock as Uraraka threw another of her spirals the girl's way. She pushed her staff out in front and blocked it, but the force behind it and her lack of gravity pushed her up and away. But before she could fly off, she found herself being dragged back down by some force, directly toward Uraraka. Seeing this as her time, she prepared her staff and did a wide swing as he got close enough. Uraraka evaded the blow, ducking under the swing, but had to step back as the staff came undone again and attempted to strike her lower legs. As she stepped back, Lily continued forward until she fell from her mid-air prison unexpectedly.
She recovered enough from the landing to spot Uraraka charging at her, attempting to grab her. Being weary of close combat with the brunette, she quickly sapped her staff into place and, with its extended reach, pushed it into her stomach as he approached, striking her in the gut, lifting her up, and attempting to slam her back down into the ground, but Uraraka recovered in time, landing on her feet and backing away, pulling at her spirals.
Lily, now more aware, quickly spun around and avoided the 10 objects headed her way. The two sized each other up for a moment before the girl did something she didn't expect. She started to hammer punches into one of the spirals, and suddenly Lily found herself being pulled closer to them. No, not herself, but it was her staff that she clutched in her hands that started to be drawn more and more to the orb being struck by her fist, and not wanting to be dragged along with it, Lily relinquished her grasp, and Uraraka took that as her moment to rush the girl as the spear passed and got stuck to the spiral in the ground.
Now that her opponent was disarmed, Uraraka was confident in taking her down rather easily, but she was blindsided when she went into her suit and pulled out a collapsible staff. It struck her in the jaw, but she avoided another follow-up strike as she pushed through the pain and grabbed at the girl's wrist, stopping the next strike cold. She stepped in and delivered five hard gut punches to the left side, increasing the gravity of her opponent.
The effects were immediate as he finally was able to break away, but the next swing of the staff was slow as Uraraka sidestepped and launched another punch that struck the girl in the shoulder before avoiding another barrage of staff strikes. Uraraka dives forward, spearing the girl down before getting on top of her and wrapping her up in a chokehold.
Lily didn't give up just yet, as she started to use her staff as leverage to pry the girl away from her, but it was too late. Uraraka had gotten around her slow staff strike, swept the leg from under her, dived forward, and caught the girl in an arm triangle chokehold. The increased gravity combined with making the girl fall hard was damaging, but despite that, she still tried to wiggle free, striking Uraraka on the back with the other staff again and again as she felt her eyes begin to darken before tapping on Uraraka in surrender, and with that, Uraraka relented.
Uraraka helped the girl up, and the two of them shook hands and hugged to show no hard feelings. Uraraka whispered something into the girl's ear while they did so. The two girls nodded at each other before Lily went back to Fubuki. She first apologized for her loss and promised the girl that she would do better. Fubuki was disappointed but took Lily and flew off without saying a word to her sister. Uraraka didn't have time to rest, however, as she was suddenly caught in Tatsumaki's power and hoisted her next to her boyfriend, while the girl would go easy on her for winning, they still had some things to talk about.
Non-killing army statement to the world
We of the non-killing army believe that monsters are not inherently evil, We believe that monsters can do good and personally see it occur. We acknowledge the threat the monster association serves, Make no mistake their goal is the complete annihilation of humanity, they will not be placated by using us as slaves or keeping us as pets the failure of the hero association against this grave threat could mean a complete disaster that may rival that of a threat level god so please have faith that the hero association and the heroes will handle the situation. For the monsters out there that do not believe in genociding humanity and want to avoid the coming battle if you surrender yourselves to us then we can help you, once the battle commences you draw the line and we can not help you. Your destruction at the hands of the heroes is all but guaranteed. Think it over.
P.S
Tatsumaki and Blast do not have any romantic relations towards each other, any likenesses that two of our members had committed during Nightmare Day were purely of coincidence. Blast is too busy to have relationships and tatsumaki is not looking for partners.
